Not only was this a fabulous wedding venue when my wife and I exchanged vows in 2014, but we went back for our tenth anniversary and the food was absolutely amazing. I don’t know who they hired as the head chef, but the meal we had on our anniversary last weekend was phenomenal and probably the best I’ve had in at least five years. The onion soup and elk tenderloin are a must! Keep up the good work.

Worth the drive! I've heard that I need to visit Dahlonega and this weekend was that time. A group of us carpooled our way up north and we HAD A TIME! I've been to my share of vineyards. But nothing like this! It felt like I had driven out of the country somewhere. The vineyards were barren as it was after the harvest season. It didn't dim the atmosphere one bit. We made reservations to make sure we could be there to enjoy brunch. We were early and that was a good thing! We sat on the open patio as the autumn wind rushed through. Temps are going back up to 76 so we should be fine. I had a pineapple mimosa which was divine! It tasted like real pineapple juice alongside champagne. The ratio was perfect! For my entree I ordered the French toast which came with eggs. The French toast was perfect! They weren't too soft and certainly wasn't dry. The eggs were a bit runny. Next, we went to the tasting room for flights! It's been years since I've been to a winery for flights. This was long overdue. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the wines. Overall, this was an incredible trip. The only downside was that we didn't have time to visit Trattoria. It is another onsite restaurant themed more towards families with kids. I wouldn't recommend the main restaurant for children. Next time I visit, I will absolutely give Trattoria a try! #ashsaidit

Amazing Tuscan Vibes in the Heart of Georgia! We had an unforgettable experience at Montaluce! From the moment we arrived, the Tuscan-inspired architecture and beautiful vineyard views transported us straight to Italy. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxing afternoon. The wine selection is top-notch, with a variety of local wines that really impressed us. We loved the bold reds and the refreshing whites. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us pick the perfect wine to pair with our meal. Speaking of the meal, the restaurant was good. We tried the filet bolognese, which was good. The Tuscan-style decor added to the cozy yet upscale ambiance. If you're looking for a little piece of Tuscany right here in Georgia, this is the place to be! We’ll definitely be back for more wine and great food. Highly recommend!

The absolute most amazing food, with the perfect view and most importantly the most incredible staff. Stopped in for lunch while working with a colleague and had the most incredible dining experience, 10/10 recommend. I absolutely cannot wait to go back.

Surprisingly delightful. Even better in person, than in photos. Italian vineyard flair spiced with multi-cultural influences. The French Onion Soup is superior. The Mango & Avocado Salad with Salmon, excellent. Typical Italian tiramisu, heavy and flavorful. Primaluce white wine, sprite. Red wines fruity, not aimed at my palette, which leans heavily towards earthy and robust notes. Wait staff friendly and conversational. Wonderful experience overall.

What a beautiful experience at Montaluce! Super friendly staff, gorgeous views & property and can we talk about the food? Compliments to the Chef OMGEEEE! The Portobello Wellington, porkchop, salmon, cookie bowl and peach cobbler skillet is all still being discussed at my house! DELICIOUS!!! Went on a Tuesday - perfect day. Chad is a GEM! Gave us a private tour & the best seat in the house. Ashley our server was so attentive and kind. We were too full to do the wine tasting so we are looking for an opportunity to go back. Thanks for making my Aunts first winery & vineyard experience magical!

The first time I came here was for brunch with some friends. Overall the interior was very nice and the wine we tasted was okay. The brunch was not good. Some of the food did not have good flavor. However, I came back another time for dinner with friends and the food was much better. I recommend the French onion soup. The views were also amazing. The dessert was good too. They had some sort of berry meringue which was delicious!

Food was great! Their decent service makes us happy! We’re from Europe, wine was not bad. The atmosphere of the winery and restaurant was romantic.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this place. Hopefully we just came at the wrong time. We arrived for dinner around 7:00 pm. We stood at the host stand for 10/15 min. While there were workers who saw us standing in the front. Finally someone helped us sit down. Our waiter did not only forgot to light our candle at our table but left the cork on our table too. Disregarding that we finally ordered and the waiter came back 35 min later telling us he forgot to put in the orders for the both of us. When he finally came by with our orders he got my husband's order wrong. It was not the birthday dinner we expected. Especially since we drove 40 min to get here. Mind you we were 1 of 3 in the Resturant. With the prices they are charging it should match the experience and service. Tonight it did not! (Wine was great and so was the elk) service just needs to improve.

Yelp
Our party of eight had a reservation for dinner awhile back to celebrate two family birthdays. My aunt, newly moved to Dahlonega, said Monteluce was considered to be the nicest winery in the area, and indeed, the grounds & building were beautiful. However, our dining experience couldn't have been much worse. Things started out ok, with several bottles of wine and appetizers being ordered. However, there was little follow-up to see if we needed refills or more wine. Among the eight of us, the dishes we selected included lasagna, pizza, linguine, bolognese, etc. The food overall was fairly okay. Nothing special, but no real issues. The service, however, was horrendous & honestly inexcusable. When the food arrived, one person's dish was missing. When we asked our server to follow up, she said she would check, but never returned. 15 minutes later and still no update, so we asked to speak to the manager. The manager went to figure out the problem, but then we see the server & manager talking and rolling their eyes as if we were being unreasonable. The manager finally offered to comp the missing meal (which finally arrived about 15 minutes after the other 7 of us had finished), but there was never any sort of explanation or apology. In general, they seemed completely apathetic about the customer experience. I definitely would not return unless I knew there'd been a complete overhaul of the management staff.

Yelp
The service was impeccable as well as the ambiance! Please, do yourself the favor and visit this location, even if it rains! (It's just as gorgeous!) The food was a good pairing to the wine that we had. I'm from out of state and this was such a beautiful treat before heading home. I'd come here every weekend if I could to just get away from the city every so often! Thank you for the amazing experience!

Yelp
I had an opportunity to go to this winery for the first time today and it was amazing. The weather was super perfect (HOT for sure!) but sunny and breezy. The staff were all amazing. This includes the valet, who btw had a wonderful text app to pay and call for your car. And the best part (drum roll) it was $3!! I'm sold! The winery has 2 on site restaurants. One has a more reserved wardrobe, the other has an outside patio area and it worked out perfect as we took the hike and Lunch reservation so I was not able to change my clothing. Our guide was Bri and she did a wonderful job walking us and explaining much needed history about the winery. I took notes because they were some good facts! Our lunch? Amazing! The wine tasting that was included? Amazing! The experience was a great one and I'd definitely come back again. If you are traveling from Atlanta or surrounding area; expect a 1-2 hour drive which is not bad at all to me! Looking forward to my return!

Yelp
We saw this place on tik tok and didn't realize that it that we actually wanted to go to tratorria di montaluce (where the huge outdoor area was) we had reservations made and they tried to seat us indoors but we waited about 10 more minutes for a balcony table and during that time we walked to tratorria to get on the waitlist. We split two bottles of wine the Prosecco and the apple wine and two flat breads the shrimp avocado and pineapple one was off the chain!! then after about an hour and a half walked over to the restaurant and they finally were able to seat us outside. We took so many pictures in the vineyards and at the table it was a lovely experience. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
If you have a date or friend you want to impress introduce them to Montaluce Winery! This is a beautiful property to visit that will make you feel like you have been transported to Italy!! Expect exceptional service and an elevated experience! The menu is seasonal and changes as they serve local foods. I ordered a salad that had local greens, heirloom tomatoes and the dressing was made in house and had delicious flavors! What can I say about the wine? I've never met a bottle that I wasn't willing to try! At this meal I had a Pino Grigio Rose' that was smooth and delightful!

Yelp
Our Montaluce day couldn't be beat. It started a couple weeks out when I knew we were going to do the Dahlonega wine valley. I was checking out the different vineyards when I saw Montaluce had a wine hike then tasting. I thought it was a nice twist on tastings so we signed up. Cut to the day of, and we arrived promptly for the 10am tasting. it was a misty day so us, and the other 4 people for the tasting all had emergency umbrellas with us. We started with a tour of the grounds. I was surprised to find how many varietals they were growning. They had a lot of red options they were farming. after a while of walking(wee were now in a path through the woods) someone asked how long the walk was going to be. The answer was 2 miles. I don't think any of us thought it was going to be that legit of a hike. But it was nice; we saw the grapes, the surrounding woods, we even went down to the river. Afterwards we tried the wines back at the beautiful chateau of Montaluce. The wines were good, not as good as the vibes though. Our tasting was outside in their grassy large bar area. It was a good time, and I would recommend the hike and tasting, it really was a nice twist.

Yelp
My family does too much so we drove 2 hours specifically to come here for lunch for my mom's birthday. We were seated promptly at a table near the window with a great view. All of the food was really good. We started with a flatbread and the smoked salmon crostinis, then had a couple orders of the Lobster Bisque Pasta and an order of the Halibut for entrees. We also had a couple glasses of wine (rose & I think a cab, can't remember.) Both were good, of course. Everyone was very satisfied. Me, in particular, I considered naming my first born Montaluce Lobster Bisque.

Yelp
My husband went for the big splurge for my birthday dinner we made reservations For 5:30 PM. We arrived at 5:20 valet parked for three dollars in front of the restaurant . The main restaurant was filled with people attending a wedding reception. We chose outside seating thinking it would give us away from the crowd of people, which it did. The landscape is beautiful and overlooks the vineyard. Our server was very knowledgeable and very nice and prompt in recommending a bottle of wine which was very good $17 /glass $65 bottle . We regret coming on a weekend when a wedding event was taking place . The service was straining to keep pace . For a *starter, we ordered the focaccia bread with Balsamic vinegar oil dip which arrived with a bowl with mostly oil and about a dime worth of Balsamic vinegar, the balance was off ( the runner actually acknowledged the lack of balsamic BEFORE setting on our table calling it unimpressive !) . We waited for our server 5 min and requested more balsamic vinegar to balance the dish; it was delivered timely. Our salads were brought out next, I ordered the salad with the avocado mango with the coconut lime dressing it was perfection delicious. However it did jump through a few hurdles- I initially ordered it 30 minutes prior WITHOUT almonds and the salad first arrived WITH almonds on it ; I had to send it back and my husband tried to enjoy his " wedge" but NOT wedge salad ( delivered w/romaine) while I waited 15+ minutes for salad without almonds. Entrée, I ordered lamb chops with macaroni cheese and broccolini it was the first time in my life having lamb I was anticipating trying them. My first bite of lamb was very gamey , I immediately was regretful and left them . The center was warm and fleshy, not my choice. The mac & cheese was old and crusty dry and overcooked like it was heated up from- yesterday's dinner. The broccolini was good . My husband ordered the pork chop and first bite disappointment look on his face ...as he reported how dry it was. Overcooked , another disappointment it was comical now ..... We tried to focus on the good and finished our bottle of wine . The air: The very strong unpleasant seafood smell wafted through the air overwhelming the area . My husband who LOVES the smell of seafood said the smell was off-putting to him . I am allergic to seafood and was holding my breath occasionally to escape the smell. We tried desperately to enjoy our dinner as it was special occasion . Our experience had so many short comings , it is with great disappointment and sadness that I could not give a great review . The bill $230 with 15% tip. My suggestion for a great experience would be to avoid the weekends , ask if a wedding is taking place before driving out. Whew

Yelp
This was my birthday weekend, and we booked a table here last minute before returning to Atlanta from the mountains. The facility is huge, designed in a beautiful Mediterranean architecture that was tastefully appointed (rare for this aesthetic). If your vibe is "big rich Italian family builds opulent winery near Atlanta," this is it. The Malbec pairs well with the Bolognese, but the pasta and sauce itself were probably the best I've had that I can remember, NYC trips included. Our waiter was gracious and patient, and was ready with refills and advice on orders. The windows overlooking the vineyard were massive, yet you felt cozy and bright at home with the staff. We're fairly certain the owner/CEO was the one that offered to take our picture. Only tip for first time visitors, you have to hike up a long, steep hill from their overflow lot if the venue is busy, so let those out at the door that are less mobile. What a great experience, we will be back!

Yelp
Despite the weather being freezing, I really enjoyed my visit here. The drive was beautiful, and we really weren't sure if we were going to get stuck going on a long vineyard tour outside, or just order one glass of wine, or what. We really went into this blindly with zero expectations, and that made for an awesome experience. Valet parking was complimentary, and we were sat right away outside with a gorgeous view and plenty of heaters. We weren't sure how long we wanted to stay, so we just got a few starters to share. The Hummus Board and the Charred Eggplant & Burrata were my favorites, and I ordered a glass of Chardonnay as well. I mean, I couldn't go to a winery and not order a glass of wine. I really don't know wine at all, but I thought it was tasty, especially paired with some creamy, fresh burrata. The view really was the best part, and I felt so relaxed and content while sitting out there (even in the cold). Service was great, food was fresh and delicious, and the view was stunning. Can't beat it!

Yelp
Amazing location, amazing service, beautiful restaurant, and tasty food. We had the privilege of having a few bottles of sparkling wine, charcuterie boards and a few other dishes including the Charred Eggplant and Burratta when a group of us stopped in from out of town to celebrate a birthday. Joellene was server and was awesome. Her and Natalie were extremely hospitable and accommodating of a walk in party of 15ish. The customer service is was top notch!

Yelp
Amazing vineyard and views! We ate at the restaurant next door and loved what we had, the music was great and the wine was good. We also had a mojito and espresso martini which was phenomenal!!

Yelp
It is a fantastic place to show a person who is visiting Atlanta in fall. The wines and the food were exactly like Sicily. The quality and taste were fantastic. We sat outside and enjoyed the views and the atmosphere. We came with kids and they were comfortable. We bout fantastic candles and wines and hand scrub at the store as well. The was desired to be a bit faster but on Saturdays it can happen. I recommend it

Yelp
Plenty of free parking, with a small parking lot near the sit down restaurant and a larger one near the pizza restaurant. When you walk into the sit down restaurant area there is a store on the left, restrooms on the right, continue forward and you can have a wine tasting and sit by the fireplace or at the bar. Or go into the restaurant for a beautiful view and full meal. We chose the Hummus board for $22 - Chef selection of fresh vegetables, creamy feta, house-made hummus, and toasted pita. I would skip this all together, the hummus was dry and the vegetables I could have done a better display. My mom had the Grouper Filet for $38 8oz grouper filet, adorned with a Thai coconut curry sauce, crisp snow peas, and fresh spring onions, served on a bed of saffron rice. LOVED! My mom could not say enough about the fish! My husband had the Mushroom Flatbread $18 Goat cheese, caramelized onions, arugula, balsamic reduction, truffle oil, and Parmesan. It was very generous with the mushrooms, tasty but not the best pizza but not their mission. I would say it is not a vegan/vegetarian friendly restaurant but it is a lovely atmosphere, wonderful wine, friendly service so... go for all of that!

Yelp
My husband and I came to Dahlonega for our wedding anniversary and thought Montaluce could be a beautiful place to stop for wine tastings. Unfortunately we were super disappointed by the poor service and lack of attention in the tasting room. We were invited to sit down at a table that wasn't clean. The server grabbed things off the table from the previous party and didn't leave any menus- we had to go up and ask for them and to ask for someone to wipe off our table. Once we received menus, we then had to go up again to ask how the tastings work and get pencils. Overall no one is running this place and we decided to leave. Beautiful scenery and hopefully the service is better at the restaurant than the tasting room. 0/10.

Anand D.

Yelp
Me and 11 other people (6 couples total) rented a van to go winery hopping for a friend's birthday. Montaluce was the first stop on our tour, where we had lunch and wine (obviously!). We were running late for our reservation, so we ended up missing it by just a little. We told the manager that we were stuck in traffic, which we were. He understood the situation and sat all 12 of us upstairs in a private area where we could eat and drink and enjoy each other's company. We all got food and all shared a few bottles. I think we got 4 red and 2 white. Our server had great recommendations for food and wine. He was able to hone in on what we all liked, what we didn't like, etc. He did an excellent job just being relatable and knowledgeable. For food, I got the stuffed bell pepper and my fiancé got an arugula flatbread and added chicken to it. Both were really good. The bell pepper was quite small, so it didn't really fill me up at all. I ended up having some of the flatbread as well. I can't remember which wine bottles we got, but they were all really good. We all got to try a few different ones. The winery is also located in a nice scenic spot as well. The view from our lunch was super pretty and were able to see the vast space that the winery covered. I highly recommend taking some time to visit Montaluce if you're looking for a winery to visit in North Georgia.

Yelp
The wine tasting at Montaluce is so nice. The grounds are nicely manicured and taken care of. I didn't get a chance to walk around since it rained earlier that day, but I walked out on the balcony area and the views were beautiful. I loved that in the bathroom they had a wonderful smelling scrub to use on your hands that left my skin feeling so smooth. I decided to purchase some from the gift shop. My date and I really enjoyed a glass of red wine. We ended up purchasing a bottle to take home. I can't remember the name of it.

Yelp
Montaluce Sunday brunch was absolutely amazing! From the wine, to the charcuterie board, the entrees to the dessert, everything was so delicious. Even during a busy Sunday rush, Ashley was a great waitress. 10/10 recommend checking out Montaluce Winery & Restaurant.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting and I will not be back. I feel like this is definitely an over-rated winery and restaurant and just not that great of an experience, I think it was a waste of money and I ended up with bites all over my shoulder from possibly bed bugs. I visited on a Saturday so it was busy but we had reservations so I thought it would be fine, especially since it was for a birthday celebration. We got seated 20 minutes after our reservation, on the top level inside, which was super empty. I understand how busy it gets but if there are seats available, I feel like we should have been seated so we could at least order something to drink. The service also just wasn't great. Our server was nice but everything took forever and the ambiance of the restaurant inside just wasn't great. There was music but it would turn off or get very quiet which makes it awkward to talk because you could hear everyone's conversation. The inside decor also just wasn't that nice and just looked outdated to me. The food was good but overall just not worth the price or the drive from Atlanta. Almost immediately after we left, I felt a little stinging on my back. It felt like I was being bitten by something and the next day when I looked, I had a ton of bites all over my shoulder. I don't know what it was from and I can't say 100% it was from here but I didn't go anywhere else before I felt myself getting bitten so I'm pretty sure it was from the fabric chairs there so it is possibly from bed bugs. I would not suggest this experience to anyone and think there are pretty options elsewhere. It is too expensive to waste time and money here.

Yelp
We have dined in both restaurants at this lovely venue. Both are gems! The restaurant in the winery itself is upscale without being pretentious. The food, service and ambiance are stellar. We've gone back several times and consider it one of our favorites in Georgia. The staff and management are second to none. Last night, we tried the Trattoria for the first time and were totally blown away by the HUGE proportions and the fantastic flavors! We order a large salad to split and gawked at the family-sized bowl in which it was served. My husband ordered a risotto and shrimp dish, which he loved. I ordered the chicken and vegetables, presented in a large pot! I couldn't stop saying how great it tasted! Our waiter, Zane, was awesome, too! We will back again, soon. But, it will be difficult to choose which restaurant to enjoy...

Wm. H.

Yelp
Heavy Italian influence in building design, decor and ambiance. Meal menu same all day with broad options and matching wine offerings. Enjoyed the view from window table at early lunch. Server was delightful and knowledgeable. Discussion about history and current wine offerings lead to her suggestion of conversation with new wine maker who came to table with unopened bottle for gratis tasting. Enjoyed his observations and hopes for future in the vineyard and winery. Overall, impressed with experience. Would enjoy a return.

Yelp
Visited here for the new year. They didn't have our reservation that we booked on their website and luckily it was not busy so we were able to able to get a seat. We sat with a very nice view of the winery. The service was standard. The ambiance was nice. The menu was interesting. The feel of this winery is mediterranean so I thought the menu would have a european version of everything. So I ordered the creole shrimp. Very disappointing. Why would a true cajun dish be on the menu of a european inspired winery. If you like cajun, you'll like the dish. Now knowing what I know, I would order different next time. Overall the winery was very nice and this experience wouldn't deter me from coming back. The gift was cut and had some really good smelling candles in re used wine bottles.

Yelp
What a stunning location, both inside and out. They have valet and a full parking lot available. The whole drive in includes a drive through the vineyard as you end at the hill to the restaurant with a stunning view. While we were there they had a wedding happening so parts of the venue had signs requesting nonguests to stay in areas they weren't using. Which was fine because they had outdoor seating and the bar inside the restaurant open to all visitors, and the bartender at the outdoor bar was so helpful and nice! We had a semi large group (7 of us) and he was quick at helping us and all the other visitors. We did not get any meals but we did get a few appetizers, and everything was fantastic with the wine pairings. This would be a great visit for anyone wanting to make the drive out of the city, I think I'd go more if I lived closer.

Yelp
Service couldn't suck any more if you tired. We are at 30 minutes at the back lower bar and have been able to pay for tasting but yet to have a sample. Looks like they might have good wine. Needs more managers!!!

Yelp
During this visit the customer was so much better! Ava was awesome! We had a very large party and she was on top of things. We got the fish dish, salmon, bolognese, lobster linguine. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Initially I was not enthused with my dish as it just looked like a bowl of beans but it was very flavorful. I'm not sure that I would get it again but it was good. Again, this time was a much better experience and we are looking forward to returning.

Yelp
Fabulous food! Devin our server was incredible and very personable (ask him about his nutcracker collection!) 23rd anniversary brunch Avissi Prosecco is nice too

Yelp
Everything about this winery is lovely, from the wine, food, ambience and service. Ashley took care of our group and offered amazing recommendations! The food (especially the shrimp and grits) were those that rivaled my mama's! We will 100% come back to enjoy another glass of wine...or three

Yelp
Breathtaking!!! Brought my wife, son and daughter her for Mother's Day and we were all pleasantly surprised. We drove about 1.5 hours to get here and the last 2 miles felt as if we were driving through the Italian countryside with vineyards on both sides of the road and rustic homes covered in foliage. We followed the signs to the winery and restaurant (easy to read and notice) and made our way to free and valet parking ($3). We valeted with a gentleman working OVERTIME!!! When we arrived inside the noise was above average as the place was packed with families. They offered indoor and outside seating, we opted to go outside which was less noisy, had a cool breeze and allowed us to overlook the scenery (vineyards, pond, GA hillside and mountains) which was perfect for the occasion and amazing. We purchase a bottle of there new Rośe wine which I gave an 8/10. As an antipasti (appetizer) we ordered the bread service and calamari. The bread service appeared to be a sliced oven loaf served with a grilled onion and some olive oil with balsamic vinaigrette (delicious 10/10). The calamari was ok 6.5/10. It came out served in a cone basket and 4 giant pieces of battered and fried lemon pieces, that was disgusting to accidentally bite into thinking it was calamari. The main dishes were all 9's and 10's/ 10. My wife and daughter both ordered pizza.... YEP, DROVE 1.5 MILE FOR THEM TO EAT PIZZA . They were good thoughts and about the size of a medium PIZZA HUT pizza. My some ordered the Ricotta pasta and I ordered the chicken Parmesan (amazing display and taste). We all left full with no room for dessert. My wife and I then did the wine tasting. I will leave something for your imagination but I will say this... we tasted 5 wines and bought 5 bottles . Overall it was a heavenly outing for my wife and the entire family. Next time we will be attending with adult friends and a DD. It's also great for pictures, videos, wine, candles, laughs, etc. etc. a must on your bucket list. Also, I checked in on YELP when I got there and YELP gave me a 20% coupon, so CHECK IT!!!

Yelp
I really liked the scenery at this winery. The grounds and buildings are beautiful. We first ate at the restaurant where the service was great. Our server, Matthew, and the other staff were great, very attentive to our larger table. While I very much enjoyed my filet bolognese and my mother enjoyed her lobster bisque pasta, other members of our group didn't love their food quite as much and I did think the prices were kinda high for the food. After lunch, we went down to the lower, more casual restaurant that boats indoor and outdoor bars. However, when we attempted to order drinks, it took an exceptionally long time for the bartender to complete our order. When a bartender started her shift, she took our order first, which was a sprite, a bottle of wine with four glasses, and a mojito, and while she brought the wine and sprite immediately, she proceeded to take nearly 30 minutes to bring the mojito, serving a bunch of other guests before us. While I initially wanted to return, I'm not sure I will after my treatment at the bar.

Yelp
This place reminds me so much of Italy so beautiful and worth the trip. The wine is good and the food was amazing. Wish we had more appetite to try more but very good.

Yelp
I visited this winery after seeing a FB post from a friend. The venue is gorgeous and the food was delicious! We would really love to come back when the weather is nicer. It was very cold on the day we visited. The view is beautiful and worth the visit. Our server was attentive and friendly.

Yelp
We dined here one night for dinner & it was great. I got the salmon & my mom got the grouper. The salmon was cooked really well & lots of taste. Our waiter was great & very attentive! My mom got the apple pie for desert & said it was good. Overall, really nice place & good food.

Yelp
Food, ambiance, and service were great! Our server, Ashley was attentive and sweet. The charcuterie board is always a hit! Try the Bolognese and steak/eggs, you won't be disappointed! Can't wait to come back in a few weeks.

Yelp
Some friends and I dined here previously and it was excellent. We took our son and his fiance for Sunday brunch on September 15 and had an awful experience. It was probably partly due to the employees setting up for a wedding on the main level. We were seated upstairs and it took 30 minutes for the waiter to take our drink orders. They were out of the wine we ordered. It took another hour to take our food orders and yet another hour to serve my husband his food, another 5 minutes to serve me, another 10 minutes to serve our son and another 20 minutes to serve his fiance (and she ordered soup and sandwich!). It was noisy upstairs. After we left, my son's fiance told us that she saw our waiter at the bar eating a leftover fruit tart from the birthday celebration that was seated behind us, all while ignoring us. While we were waiting for our food, we told the waiter (when he finally returned) that we were very hungry and had been waiting for a long time. He offered us complimentary bread which we never received and he never came back to check. Montaluce is a beautiful place and I really dislike leaving a one star review but maybe they will read this and it will help them solve these problems in the future.

Yelp
The view was incredible here! The service was really good as well! I would probably only come back for a special occasion though since it is very expensive.

Yelp
Food, service, and facility far exceeded expectations! We wanted a nice dinner while were in Dahlonega, nothing had great ratings but this at least had good views and was only 15min away. We were amazed with the facility from the time we turned into the winery. We tasted a few wines and each found one that impressed us. The food (hummus starter, salmon and tenderloin plates) rivaled some of our favorite places in Atlanta! We will return anytime we are in Dahlonega!

Yelp
A stunning setting in the Dahloniga Wine country of upper Georgia mountains where you will find Montaluce Winery & Restaurant. The rolling hills hides a quaint Italian housing complex of the likes on picture postcards of the Tuscany region. Drive in and find Montaluce Winery & Restaurant built on top of the hill with vista's of grape growing vines neatly planted in rows and rows. We were greeted at the door and actually got great advice from the Chef de Cuisine Clint Johnston. He made us feel at ease knowing that he would oversee the preparation of vegan dishes personally. We sat at a table overlooking the valley and lake. Devon came over and helped us decide the many offerings of the Italian menu. Start with the Tuscan Flatbread and a large cup of French Onion Soup that was a favorite with the lovely missus. She was happy to have Vidalia onion topped with French Gruyere melted cheese. Others chose the Special vegan Vegetables bowl and Caprese Crostinis as well as the Grilled Mahi Mahi with tropical salsa on Cruz pasta. My choice was the garlic butter drenched Capallini pasta with cherry tomatoes and a large portion of Shrimp Scampi covered in fine parmesan with toasted baguette. A real 5 star dining experience. We will definitely remember Montaluce Winery & Restaurant.

Yelp
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this place. I had high hopes and really wanted to enjoy it, but unfortunately, that was not the case. We had made a reservation for 3pm and arrived at 2:45pm. The host informed us that they were running behind schedule, which we understood and were okay with. We decided to wait at the bar, but the service there was incredibly slow, which we were willing to overlook. As time went on, we saw the host only twice between 3:15pm and 3:30pm. Feeling hungry, we decided to order an appetizer. We also asked if we could be seated outside, and they were able to accommodate us, but not until 4pm, which was an hour past our reservation time. Once we were seated outside, no one came to our table. We waited for about 16 minutes until the host finally came outside and stopped at our table to take our order. He asked us who our server was, but we had no idea because no one had shown up yet. It wasn't until 4:33pm that we finally got to eat. To make matters worse, we didn't have any napkins or silverware, and I had to grab them from the table next to ours. Eventually, a waitress showed up and did a good job, but it seemed like our table was assigned to her much later on. In terms of the food, we ordered the eggplant burrata, which turned out to be extremely salty. The charcuterie board was just ordinary, nothing special. The wagyu burger, however, was good. The view is beautiful and outdoor area is nice, we would have been better off at the Trattoria instead. The only reason I am giving this place 3 stars is because of the host, who was gracious and accommodating. Otherwise, it would have been a 2-star rating. Overall, my experience was disappointing, and I would hesitate to recommend this place based on the issues we encountered.

Yelp
This place is beautiful! The building and ambiance of the restaurant is like no other, the soft jazz music made for a romantic night. The food and service was incredible. The manager Chad checked in on us throughout the entire night! So many gluten free options, I got the GF lobster linguine- delicious! They have a sister restaurant downstairs that is a little more relaxed, we stopped in there after dinner to check it out. I got a choloatini for dessert. We will be coming back!

Yelp
This winery is gorgeous, you don't feel like you are in the US or Georgia. The lasagna was delicious and so was the carnivore pizza we got. We had the dolce white and rose. Both were great. They were the sweetest wines they had but they were not that sweet at all. However, I still enjoyed them. Their cappuccinos were so tasty! The charcuterie board that my mother in law ordered was delicious. Loved the balsamic glaze on it. My mother and law and father in law we're celebrating their marriage and they "lost" their reservation. They made up for it though and Abby was an incredible server!!! Also they have valet parking which is super nice.
