Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok

Amazing Hotel and amazing service from all the people that work here. You are welcomed with a big smile 😊 instantly you get out of your car from the doormen. Enter the hotel and once again more smiles from concierge. Everyone are so kind and always taking their time to help you. Waiters, waitresses and the cooks in the kitchen are so accommodating. This is a great hotel to stay at especially with families. I could go on and on, but I don't have enough space. I totally recommend this hotel to stay at in Bangkok.

From the moment I arrived I was so impressed. Such a beautiful hotel. All of the staff were exceptional, polite, made you feel so special, and went out of their way to assisst. The doorman Mr Tikk is so full of energy and always so happy, puts a smile on everyone's face. The buffet breakfast had so many options, and the food was tasty. The rooms were a decent size, and the beds and pillows super comfortable. Overall had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back here again.

Pae and UK at the lounge bar were lovely. Very attentive, good conversation, delicious cocktails. Tik on the door always makes you smile with a larger than life HELLO! All staff are so helpful and nothing is a problem. Definitely recommend to others!

Rooms are spacious but rather dated Over staffed Went for drink in garden 6 of us to 9 staff, they spent whole time standing 4 feet from us just staring. Ordered drinks at pool took over an hour to get them. Manager blamed us ! Then paid for a couple who were on tour, all their drinks bill as well as tickets to local show. Breakfast - hot food all cold and left overs from coffee shop served the following morning for breakfast Security & housekeepers were excellent

We absolutely love this hotel for amazing design, calmness and comfortable rooms. If you search for night entertainment, there is a night market with a lot bars. Stayed there 2nd time. But this time there is some weirdness happened on the check out. Breakfast starts at 6 am and we had only 15 min to eat and call a taxi. They didn’t let me in because it was 5:58, said I came early. And on check out appeared we left one of the room access cards in electricity slot. The guy on reception was insisting I have it and husband was keeping on saying it is in the room. They didn’t believe! Our room was on the 17th floor, so they made husband wait until someone went and confirmed the key was there. And all of this in the 15 min we need to eat and leave. Why? What are we gonna do with that card returning home to our country????

I drops to staycation for a Friday night on the long-standing hotel: Montien Surawong. A value for money, dedication and taste they are building in. Facilities are well-kept, close to Bangkok center and feeling hypes among fusion, luxury, vernacular, you mean it neighborhood. Room, service, rates and ambience are balance. Wonderful night here.

I had a mixed experience during my stay here. The services are average. I've been to a lot of 5-star hotels in Thailand, and all of them have always exceeded my expectations, but not here. The breakfast is also average. There was some random hair on the bed sheet. Not recommended.

I have visited Bangkok more times than I know over the decades and never have I stayed at the Montien hotel on Surawong Road. Until now. What a joy to be a guest in this opulent, stunning hotel. I think it has undergone recent refurbishment, a substantial renovation done in a manner which is sympathetic to the majesty of the original product, yet bringing it up to date. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels in Bangkok but never have I seen such stunning features in a hotel. The lobby is breath-taking. The Ruenton restaurant is glamorous and spacious, and that theme is replicated throughout the hotel. There's a very well appointed (and nicely air-conditioned) gym on the 3rd floor, the same floor as the swimming pool. |The hotel is staffed by outstanding people, from the delightful doormen to the reception staff, the bar staff and all of the other special team members that are a part of the Montien family. |Be sure to buy a room which includes breakfast. It's a treat to just see the amazing spread, never mind to sit down and enjoy the myriad dining options. A freshly and perfectly cooked omelette, scrambled eggs....done whichever way you prefer. Maybe you fancy some cereal to start, or some fresh fruit, or some cheese and ham, but be sure to leave room for a selection of delights from the freshly baked treats that await. croissants, various pasty delights, cakes and calory laden treats everywhere! There are pork sausages, chicken sausages, crispy bacon....the choice is substantial and the quality is first class. |The guest rooms are modern, sporting lots of USB plugs and international power plugs. No need to bring power adaptors to the Montien. The showers offer good pressure and plenty of hot water. |If you're thinking of staying at the Montien, Surawong Road, think no more. Make the booking. If you don't love the place you need to consult a shrink!
