I had the pleasure of dining at Montrose Restaurant on Saturday, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The dishes were beautifully curated, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors and presentation that truly delighted the senses. Each plate was a work of art, reflecting the skill and creativity of the kitchen team.
To complement the fantastic food, we were treated to an exceptional wine selection curated by Murray, the sommelier. His expertise and recommendations elevated our meal, pairing each course perfectly with wines that enhanced the overall dining experience.
A special thank you to Angus, who served us throughout the evening. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor made us feel welcomed and well taken care of, contributing to the overall enjoyment of our visit.
The only feedback I have is regarding the cheese course. Typically, when restaurants offer a cheese selection, it includes four cheeses, crackers, and accompaniments. However, at Montrose, this selection comes to £32, which I find rather expensive for just cheese.
That said, I can't wait to return to Montrose and experience the magic of their menu and wine offerings again! Thank you !
