Monty's Good Burger

No one makes tater tots like Monty's! I've been coming here for 5 years now and they've been consistently good. I last tried their chik'n burger in 2022 and had loved it and it didn't disappoint this time too. Crispy and delicious! I got the soft serve but felt it tasted more like ice cream than a soft serve. My friend ordered the vanilla shake and said it was delicious.

Good place for a decent burger and fries combo. I ordered the double cheeseburger with 50/50 fries and tots. The cheese on the burger was actually melted and the food came out within 10 minutes. The tots were delicious and the service was excellent. For a burger joint, the staff keeps the place very clean.

The 100% plant-based burgers, sandwiches, and fries are absolutely delicious. The lemonade is also great. The staff is very friendly. It's nice that you get badges and stickers for free at the register.

We ordered the Cheeseburger, 50/50 Fries & Tots, Chicken Tenders and Impossible Hot Dog. Service was great, the girl on the counter was friendly and food was served really fast. Would definitely dine here again, just need to open one in Vancouver, BC.

Burger was great. The tenders were ok. The tenders had a weird, almost chemical taste (not sure if that's normal). I didn't realize it was plant based until after I left the place 😅 The wobbly table sucked. All in all, burger craving was satisfied 😌

Open late. Incredibly welcoming & friendly service. Great vibes. Personally not vegan, not even vegetarian . The fries & the tater tots delicious with their honey mustard dressing. The hot dog was yummy, tasted like a hot dog. The burger & chicken strips. To a meat eater didn’t taste like a burger or chicken, but they were tasty non the less. & they have a variety of delicious sauces. Delicious shakes& cookies. Based on how busy it always is. I am assuming is vegetarian or vegan paradise. Had to try, & was pleasantly surprised.

Friendliest staff! I was shocked the ranch on the salad was plant based, it was so good with the added chicken. Oreo shake was the perfect way to end the meal.

We ordered a cheeseburger, fries, chicken sandwich, strawberry lemonade, and tater tots. The chicken sandwich was really good. Everything was just okay but could have skipped completely. The tater tots were overcooked, the burger was very very thin - could barely taste it, and the fries were just okay. I did notice what other comments are saying about the gloves/people not changing them and the place having a dirty feel to it. The cashier refreshed my drink using my cup I had already drank out of. That wld not have been a problem for me except she mixed my drink with a stainless cup - I am not sure who else's drinks were mixed w that cup before mine. Overall, I def would not return. The staff were pleasant however and parking isn't too difficult.

I've been curious to try this place and was craving fries and a shake. I love that they have a 50/50 option so you can try both the shoestring fries and tater tots. I ended up likely the tater tots more because they were crispier. The plant based ranch was very good! It was pretty thick in consistency. The Oreo shake was delicious and made from oat milk. It was quite thick like ice cream. I got the small size for sharing and it was perfect for a light dessert. Of course, you have to do your fries in the shake. The restrooms were very clean, a huge plus. The staff were super friendly especially with helping a group with disabilities. Will definitely come back to try their burgers one day.

I came here at the instance of my daughter. Monty's is completely okay for vegans so there is that. Everything on the menu is plant based including the shakes and the cheese. The prices are higher than the usual fast food, but are better compared to other vegan burger places. A lot of the menu is typical of fast food. My daughter got the cheese burger, which I found to be OKAY, not bad. I'd never trade my meat burger, but it was a nice change of pace.

We walked into a fairly busy place. Their menu wasn't extensive, but the few options were very appealing. I chose the hot dog combo, holding the tomato, with tea and tater tots, while my friend ordered the burger combo with fries. The cashier wasn't particularly friendly and spoke minimally; perhaps she was having a bad day, or simply nearing the end of her shift. However, the sauces were fantastic! The prices were reasonable for individual items, but combos could be a bit pricey depending on your group size. Despite this, the food was delicious, and I'll definitely return.

The burgers here are really delicious and juicy, it makes you forget that it's an impossible patty. Service is really nice too, and food comes out so quickly. I have to try the shakes next time, that look so good!

Not going to lie, the mouthwatering pictures is what got me, but the flavor of the burger was nothing special. It wasn't bad, but nothing exceptional about it. Tasted like a regular cheeseburger. The fries were also okay. To me, the pictures look better than the taste. Service was kinda the same. Younger staff that wasn't very talkative or helpful/friendly. For the price point, if food is going to be mediocre and the service as well, then I'd rather go to a drive thru and pay half the price.

What I Ordered: -Spongebob's Krabby Patty Meal $18.99 Including Fries and Tots 50/50, Cherry Bomb, Honey Mustard. -Yelp Free Sauce with Check-In I was in the area after going to Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch and wanted to eat at a place that was participating in the SpongeBob collaboration. I saw that Monty's made a Krabby Patty for the promotion. I knew that I had to go there! Monty's has been on my go-to list for a minute now. This was a win-win situation for me. I was very fortunate that they recently changed their hours. They are now open at 11 am. I greeted by TK who was the General Manager/Cook/Cashier. She was extremely helpful! I explained it was my first time visiting Monty's and she provided me with some recommendations and I ultimately went with the Krabby Patty which was another recommendation of hers. How it was included with their OG sauce. This will not be met well with the regulars here, but I'm a big meat eater. I eat meat at least once a day if not more. That gives you an idea of how much I like meat. I typically won't go out of my way to eat vegetarian food. I've had it before and have enjoyed it, but it wouldn't be my first choice I think this SpongeBob collaboration was a good way for me to introduce myself to Monty's and their veggie burgers. I gotta say Monty's Krabby Patty was one of the better burgers I've had in awhile. It was a proper burger even though there wasn't any meat inside. I loved it! The fries were also good. They tasted very similar to McDonald's fries which I say that as a compliment. The tots were your average tots. They didn't taste that special to me. I wouldn't order them again. I recommend ordering the French fries. I was recommended the Cherry Bomb and I really liked it. I recommend trying this soda especially if you're a fan of Cherry. They have free refills as well. The sauces were great! I got the Honey Mustard, Sriracha and Habanero sauces. They were all taste and I would recommend the Honey Mustard and Habanero as those two were my favorites. I can't say enough great things about TK. She was super friendly and hospitable! She made my experience at Monty's a great one! I will definitely be back to Monty's in the future!

Originally came out here to try the SpongeBob promo which I missed by just a day :( This was my first time visiting the place. I am not vegan but I have had other vegan fast food before like McCharlies. The burger was decent and the tots and fries are good. It still has the same problem as other vegan burgers though where there's a weird aftertaste that lingers. Service was great though and fast.

In all fairness I Uber Eats this delivery and it may have been a much better taste experience if I had dined in where I would have had it sent back and replaced. I could not eat my Kale salad it was covered in salt seasoning. My tater tots were also way too salty. Not sure who was in the kitchen but I was very disappointed and had to through it in the garbage. The only delicious item was the double cheeseburger. It tasted like I was eating a meat burger. The way they melted the cheese, the vegan patties, it was my saving grace. I paid $40 for all of these items and could have gone up the street and fine dined instead. I am truly sorry Monty's I wanted to try you out but the salt prevented a good tasting experience. Loved the burger so 5 stars for it.

I have been wanting to eat at Monty's for several years and today was the day! My only regret is that I had a large breakfast a few hours before arriving here by chance for lunch. But I did try the impossible hot dog and the mini coffee shake and both were delicious. The staff member that took my order was nice and helpful. The vibe here is chill the music is good and there is plenty of open seating. Parking is 2 hours max via a pay station. Whenever I am in LA I am definitely going to prioritize a stop at Monty's!

I love this place!! The milkshakes are amazing - I love visiting when the have the speciality ones. I do wish they would extend the runs of speciality milkshakes. A monthly rotating feature would be awesome. I also would like if I could order a half order of the 50/50 tots/fries.

This has to be the best vegan food I have ever had in life. We tried both the burger and the chicken sandwich and the chicken sandwich was amazing. I like the chicken sandwich better than the burger but I am also not a burger person anyways but it was still good though. I also got the Oreo shake and that was so good as well. The Oreo shake did not taste vegan honestly that's how good it was. The sauces they have on the side are really good too I got the special sauce, honey mustard and bbq. Both the tater tot's and the fries were great too. 10/10 recommend forsure going to come back soon. They play good music in there too lol the vibe was good

I had the double cheeseburger, fries, and an Oreos milkshake. The milkshake was the best part! It was thick and creamy and better than most plant-based milkshakes. The double cheeseburger was also great.

Vegan food with a slightly grown menu now. They have expanded beyond burgers and got chicken tenders or sandwiches. They also added hot dogs now and ice cream. The hot dog is alright chicken is so so the burgers are the go to for me here as is the new ice cream. Hot dog is still decent to have sometimes as a different taste and the shakes are also good here. Worth a try and good even if you're not a vegan. They usually are fast with the service and the inside is good for dining in experience. They have a few locations in LA now too. A very unique style of decoration with dog themed images and references.

Quick and easy meal? Nope. The line at Monty's Good Burger on a Sat night was just the beginning. From the time I ordered to the time I saw food was almost 15 mins. Delicious and satisfying? Not really. The Impossible patties I buy at the store to cook are bigger than this one. Both the single burger & Davey dog were dressed too simply to impress, especially for the price. The vibe was retro cool, from the red neon signs to the wacky placemats. Even the bathroom walls were covered with vintage-looking posters of celebs in the vegan club. It was exciting to have experienced this place, but the food was so mid I wouldn't return unless I was strictly vegan, needed immediate sustenance, and ended up on their doorstep. Never say never I guess.

Food was surprisingly good and tasted like real meat! Service was also really great, quick and had patient employees. The feeling of the spot felt like an old style diner with their own unique styling. They also have free stickers and pins at the counter.

Best plant-based burgers I've had! Burgers had so much flavor and the fries were perfect crispy...just the way I like them. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. Service was great and the restaurant itself was clean. There's plenty of parking nearby, either on the street or in nearby structures

Chill spot. Good customer service! All vegan. I added a tomato to my vegan Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Hot is the way to go! I would've preferred even more heat! But I'm on a spice kick lately and have been eating raw habaneros for breakfast so I don't think the average customer would want it that spicy. Overall for it being impossible patty it tasted good. The crunch was good.

This Monty's is incredible because the food is extremely clean! The staff is friendly and seem to like their jobs which make it fun!!! They can do the burger in a lettuce wrap which is dope! Loved the caesar salad! The fries and tater tots are yummy!! Love all the Monty's but especially this one!! It's pretty and a little fancy!

It's been a minute since I've been to Monty's! Had some of the double cheeseburger, chicken sandwich (nashville style), and half tots/half fries. The sriracha aioli is goooood. The star was prob the chicken sandwich! It does feel pricy for such a casual spot even though it's good - the chicken sandwich alone came to almost $17, not including fries or a drink. This location is in trendy downtown Culver City. Decor is so cute and staff are very friendly. Just be prepared for traffic in the area, plus parking can be tough depending on the time of day. There are meters on the same street at Monty's and a parking garage available down the alley. Definitely a nice treat for every once in awhile.

Came to this location before going out on a saturday and it was surprisingly not packed at all. Ordered their tots as well as a single burger. Tots were great and their sauces were really good as well! recommend checking in to get another sauce for free or else it's an additional $1. Burger was pretty good a level above in-n-out and comparable to shake shack but a bit bigger. Also, I didn't even realize it was a vegan burger. Service was pretty terrible though, so -1 star for that. There was barely people in the restaurant including us and the staff was almost avoidant of people trying to order. Maybe they just had a ton of online orders?

SERVICE - located in downtown Culver City near a lot of other restaurants - street parking or lots nearby - limited indoor seating for smaller groups of 4-6 people - a few outdoor tables - order at counter and food brought to you - burgers made very quickly - ambiance good for casual meal or takeout MENU - all vegan fast food - gluten free options available - average price ($12 per single burger) FOOD - single cheeseburger (7/10): impossible patty with lettuce, tomato, grilled onion, cheese, and house sauce between fluffy brioche bun. This is exactly what you would expect from a burger with nothing fancy. There is a good mix of toppings on the patty and the sauce adds just the right level of creaminess. It does seem small and slightly pricey for fast food. - 50/50 fries and tots (8/10): mix of tater tots and shoestring fries. It is hard to go wrong with fried potatoes. This is a great size to share between two people when added to the burger. I really liked the sriracha aioli as the dip. WOULD I GO BACK? If I was with a group who wanted burgers quickly then maybe. I also wanted to try the shakes since I have heard they are good.

Love stopping here when I come to LA. I'm not always the biggest fan of impossible burger patties but I really appreciate how light their other ingredients are. This isn't a burger that'll leave your stomach sick, just satisfied. Would strongly recommend getting their tater tots. Gotta love their branding too. Service in this location was nice and friendly, water is complimentary/help yourself. This location's ambiance isn't my favorite of the ones I've been to. I'd say it's better for grab and go, but that also depends on the time of day.

Checked out the Culver City location of this popular small local chain of plant based burgers. It conveniently is located close to the E Line station in downtown. Monty's is completely okay for vegans. Everything on the menu is plant based including the shakes and the cheese. The prices are higher than the usual fast food, but are better compared to other vegan burger places. A lot of the menu is typical of fast food. It's a lot like the older diners in style. There's the bright blue interior with neon and whatever. All the menu is plant based. There's not just burgers but also shakes, and "chicken" sandwiches. It's about $8 for shakes, which were a pretty good size and thick as fuck. We thought these were an okay price considering how much was in these. It's $12 for the single burger. These come with the usual toppings including vegan cheese along with lettuce, onions, pickles, and tomatoes. A bit much for what looked like a McDonald's burger, but these were full of flavor. The other thing is we would have liked to have gotten fries, but we already paid too much for everything to be honest. Everything is good except the prices of course. It's too much to get a side with the drinks and burgers that are already pricy. There's lots of options as in everything here is good for vegans and vegetarians.

My son LOVES Monty's and has been wanting to share his obsession with me. I tried the chicken sandwich and I was pleasantly surprised. The "chicken" was crispy and flavorful and the pickles and mayo kick this sandwich up a notch. There is no feeling that you are having a vegan meal and the "meat" doesn't taste weird. I didn't really care for their fries but the tatter tots were ok. Next time I'll skip them all together. I am not vegan and I still think Monty's is worth a try. The decor is fun and the place is very clean.

I had the chicken sandwich with Nashville Hot, added lettuce, tomato, pickles and a side of French fries. The I love the heat from the chicken, however, I was expecting more heat. One thing I definitely dislike is when an establishment over dresses my sandwich. There was WAY TOO MUCH MAYO that it overpowered the taste and made everything slide around. Overall I would recommend and return for another one. I can't speak for the service or ambience, because someone went for me, however, they had a pleasant experience. The fries were good, just a little salty for me (I don't use much salt) I'm actually curious about the hot dogs and the Oreo Shakes. Keep producing good quality food Monty's of Culver City. I will be a Gold Member. This time I gave you 4.7 out of 5.0. See you in a couple of weeks.

Great plant based option for fast food! Cute retro design inside store and fast service! Came around 10 pm on a Friday night and they were fairly busy but we only had to wait ten minute for our food! - Monty's Double Good Burger ($15) - 4/5 - really juicy patties and nice soft bun definitely a good burger alternative - if you're not used to it the impossible burger taste is still noticeable - Charlie's Regular Chicken Sandwich ($15) - 4.6/5 - my favorite out of the two burgers we tried because of the crunchiness of the patty and it really does not seem vegan at all - Fries and Tots 50/50 ($5) - 3.5/5 - next time I would just get all tots bc the fries were a little too dry - Mini Oreo Shake ($6) - 4/5 - really yummy oat milk based shake but it's a better deal to just get the $5 vanilla soft serve bc you can't really taste the Oreo in the shake and the soft serve has a bigger serving! - Ranch Dipping Sauce (free w burger and fries) - 4/5 - good but preferred the Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce 5/5 !!

You're saying everything here is VEGAN?? This is one of the best burgers I've had. Most definitely one of the best milkshakes I've ever had. Cutest place and had a vintagey diner feel to it. Great service-food came out lighting quick.

Love Monty's Good Burger !! The burgers and chicken sandwiches are the best. Great place if you are a vegan or vegetarian and miss a good burger or just want the burger taste and don't want to eat meat. They are open late so that's super convenient! Nice friendly staff. Cool music playing. A nice place to hang out and enjoy burgers and fries. Fries are pretty epic too! For sure you should try a burger here. Once you do you will Be hooked !!

Heard a lot about this place , so decided that I absolutely have to try it! The place looks super cool inside- all those neon signs and bright colors looks great on it. I had a single and tater tot's and i enjoyed it, but for a $12 burger that goes without fries the size was small. Like honestly, when I am paying $12 I definitely want a bigger patty in it....burger was good but very basic, so overall I feel like I overpayed for it two times. tots are cool and fresh but I think it is hard to ruin the fries... sooo even though it was good. I was a little upset overall. Service is kinda slow, but nice.

This place is quick and easy and I do enjoy eating here, however, I feel like the food is a tad bit too processed. The pricing is good, however so I do enjoy eating here.

Had the opportunity to eat here last night. This location was in Culver City. Great location! So proceeded to order which seamed hard to do, cause for some reason they were having issues, why do I say that, cause they couldn't get the order right! But when I reordered it they got it straight. I tried to use the free sauce from my yelp check in, but they didn't know how to handle it, so I gave up! So I ordered a cheeseburger, and it was one of the best non beef burger that I've had, the grilled onions definitely took it over the top, also had the 50/50 fries & tots they were ok. And the ambience was nice, I would definitely go again, the burger was that good!

I can't remember the last vegan burger I had that was this good. The cheese sauce was hitting. Wow felt I was eating in and out but better. The tater tots were very well seasoned and too be a vegan shake, Yeah monty's did that. My dog didn't want her pup cup though.

The best vegan chicken sandwich I have ever had! My sister and I both got the Nashville Hot version and shared a maxed out fries. The fries come with their house sauce which is basically thousand island. 10/10 recommend for any vegan looking for a bomb chicken sandwich.

Such amazing burgers that you sometimes forget you're not eating meat! Service is fast, as you order at the counter and they bring it out to you. Love this place overall, and price is quite fair.

We thoroughly enjoyed our impossible burgers and chicken sandwich, which was also impossible brand and Nashville hot delicious spice. My favorite was the sauce, especially the habanero and House spread. I will come back! Have you ever tried a chocolate root beer, float from Monte delicious. DELICIOUS and Great service too!

First time here and it stood up to the hype! The service was very fast and the quality of burger that came out was hot, fresh, and juicy. We got 2 single good burgers 1 with tots 1 with 50/50 - I regretted this decision, the fries were lacking. Tot were 10/10 Ranch and habanero sauce were also very good separately but we found out they're also fire together Total was ~$37 But the value meal that consists of a single good burger, drink, tots/fries is $12.99 without tax is a great deal! They also offer merch and freebie stickers and pins. The stickers are great quality! Waterproof :) Would love to come back and try their other goodies and sauces :)

Music was fire. Food was fire and so filling! Food cooks and tastes homemade not frozen patties. Service was quick and they explained their menu a bit more for our first time! Definitely recommend

First off Monty's Good Burger is a good vibe good atmosphere. I have a vegan friend visiting from out of town. I remember going to the other Monty's off of Wilshire though let's give it a try. Came greeted by Tk I think she is GM. She was nice walked us through the menu great service awesome food. I would not hesitate to eat here. You can't even tell the food is vegan. Go Montys Good burger.

IMO, this is the vegan version of In & Out... only better (I think I&O is overhyped). I've never been a burger person my entire life but I *will* indulge in Monty's. The burger presentation is fun and colorful; everything tasted fresh. The shakes were super tasty, too! I like that they feature different flavors at random. The tots and fries were good and only highlighted by all of their amazing sauce choices! Like, dang! I also loved their chicken nuggets! Perfectly crisp and flavorful. The parking compared to their other locations isn't too bad. That's LA for ya, folks. I'm from Ventura but would definitely check out Monty's again if I'm back in the area.

The shakes are amazing! That is the only highlight on the 2 meals I bought! 1 sandwich, 1 salad, 1 shake and 1 drink. It aggravates me when restaurants advertise vegan food and that consists solely of IMPOSSIBLE meat!!!! I feel like that is such a lazy approach, it taste like plastic and they tax u for it!!! Salad was bad as well!!! Fries were not good very soggy. And a side of sauce is $1!!!! What?!?! U can tell that food is not their passion. This is very disappointing!!! High prices for impossible meat ‍. Hard pass!!!

I'm not vegan but I love checking out vegan restaurants just to taste the difference and check out different Chefs' creative takes on popular "meat" dishes. The burgers here were legit. We ordered 2single burgers ($12ea) to-go after watching Anora. The whole ride home, the smell was a bit off-putting, not that natural yummy food smell at all. We had low expectations but were met with a pleasant surprise when we actually sat down to watch Netflix (Sundays are lazy days:) and chomp down on our burgers...purdy darn good. Definitely will order again.

Came here once before awhile back and remember the experience as not being so great. Perhaps it was the food as I do recall the service as being okay. Coming back today however was a better experience. The staff were super helpful, friendly, and attentive. They were very knowledgeable with the menu and asked us all the questions we needed to know and they answered all of our concerns. Staff accommodated our requests, served us the food, and even gave us a togo box when needed --before I had a chance to ask when I went back to the restaurant. They were on point. Service was great. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was pretty good. The dry rub on the Nashville was decent, could use more flavoring on the protein but overall was satisfied and okay with how the food turned out. The tots and fries were also okay. The streets were very active and sitting outside was nice for fresh air.

I've been wanting to try this place since I saw a plant based influencer post about it like a year or two ago. Fast forward to today! My flight was severely delayed today and I ended up missing my connecting flight home. I was obviously disappointed but ended up getting to my hotel after booking a new flight and decided to order some vegan food because while in LA you have to do so! I got the chicken sandwich and the animal style fries (I forgot their actual name!) they truly made up for my disaster of a day! Only thing that would've made it better would be one of their milkshakes but I worried it would melt on the way. I have never had a vegan bun that tasted so much like normal brioche buns! The chicken was tasty and I enjoyed the sauce on it. The animal style fries were the star of the show. SO good omg. The food was a little cold once it got the hotel so I can only imagine how good it would be fresh. I can't wait to be back in LA so I can try the rest of their menu!

Monty's is a great go-to for fast plant-based and a DAMN good milkshake! I do wish they offered gluten-free buns though because i'd be able to actually enjoy their burgers the way I can at most other plant-based burger joints. That's the only reason I wouldn't give a 5 star because overall, I love Monty's. The vibe is awesome, like retro diner with a punk twist (their branding is awesome) and it's always super comfortable (not overcrowded and crammed) if you're dining in. Staff and service have always been friendly and attentive. In regards to the food, they have become a go-to for a quick milkshake and fries. I recommend the 50/50 fries and tots since they are both so good you'll want the best of both worlds. Also their "Onion Aioli" is seriously INSANE, I wish I could order bottles of it. Grab some merch too :) I wish I could speak on the burgers but everyone I know that has had them stresses they are nothing short of fantastic.

Great vegan chicken sandwich my friends didn't realize it was vegan! Wish the sandwich was a bit cheaper but happy to support a vegan business. I've never tried a menu item I didn't like. Service good and ambiance is cool.
