Waterfront seafood eatery with a raw bar, featuring live music & DJs, happy hour & TV sports.
"Located on South Beach, this casual outdoor dining spot offers guests live music, a raw bar, and a wide range of fried appetizers. With a laid-back atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot for frozen drinks and beach items after a long day soaking up the sun. The pool and outdoor area, open to the public, provides a stunning view of the marina and a relaxing ambiance that can make a visit last well into the evening." - Amber Love Bond
"Even though South Beach straddles both the beach and bay, there are surprisingly few restaurants with water views to enjoy (or post on social media). Or, at least, very few where you can get a huge pile of $14 nachos. At Monty’s, you can catch bayside sunsets (it’s right there in the name) and not pay a fortune in this kitschy, tiki-themed spot in SoFi with sporadic live music, decent seafood, and a pool we’ve never actually seen anyone use." - alyson penn, ryan pfeffer
"Monty’s has one of the best views in South Beach thanks to its huge outdoor space located right on the edge of the Miami Beach Marina, which faces directly towards the sunset. There’s even a pool in the center of this place, even though we’ve never really seen anyone using it. If the food - mostly typical seafood dishes - wasn’t pretty average, we’d probably come here a lot more. But it’s still a solid choice for some frozen drinks and fried seafood. And that view is just fantastic." - ryan pfeffer
"Located on the edge of the Miami Beach Marina, Monty’s Sunset serves solid bar fare and seafood offerings like oysters, she-crab soup, coconut shrimp, tuna ceviche, grouper Reubens, or lobster shrimp rolls. Enjoy a dip in the restaurant’s center pool and live music during its popular weekday happy hour while sipping on Pain Removers, the restaurant’s blend of dark rum, pineapple and orange juice with a touch of coconut." - Juliana Accioly
