An all-c classic American that offers comfort food and sparkling rays for a smacking sunset view!
The vibe and ambiance are pretty casual, hyped by the mood of the all-time hits.
Some high-menu items start with their own Guac and chips, that’s the ultimate Tex-Mex statement. Not the best guac & cheese, but it will fulfill your chip craving. The Fisherman's Sampler, which includes Conch fritters, battered cod, coconut shrimp, and fried calamari; is your best shot to try all fried sea appetizers. Surprisingly the conch fritters, and the coconut shrimp outshine the rest. The only downside of this appetizer is the amount of grease, as everything is fried, so sometimes you feel you are just eating the same. Moving into the entrees, say “Yabba-Dabba-Doo!” to this Fred Flinstone rib rack that shines BBQ highlights and crispy french fries. The amount of meat in them will definitely satisfy your carnivorous appetite. Jump into the Grilled Mahi Mahi, served with sunset rice, veggies, and lemon garlic butter. A well-sized portion of a fresh caught off Miami. It tastes very natural, where all the side ingredients just add a subtle scent of twist to it.
The Maji Maji Sandwich is the healthy burger you have always looked for. Tender enough on the inside, embraced by soft buttery buns. The chips have a nice crunchy bite to their signature taste. On the other side, the Maji Maji tacos were extremely disappointing. Flavoless, completely raw and lacking taste. Even the cole slaw salad that was ordered as an additional item, didn’t help to pump off some kind of taste.
Service depends on the waiter, they are usually overlwhelmed with the number of guest, so if the place is packed, forget about quick response.
Nice that it is one of the only places that still validates parking in Miami Beach.
If you are up for nice sunset pier views over the Miami Bay Area, sail away at Monty’s with a cheerful drink and hunk to all the cruises departing the Miami port!
