Attended the 8 course Omakase experience with a party of 6 on 9/20/25. The bill was roughly $750 dollars for the whole party, and we were in and out in around 45 minutes, afterwards walking across the street to cheese cake factory for appetizers to feel full. On my birthday I felt embarrassed for my guests. The Sushi is of exceptional quality no doubt- but the portion and timing- not so much. It is served back -to-back, the chef immediately returning to work on the next course. This is not a dinner to leave you satiated, but designed to leave you wanting more to force you to buy the 13 course at the higher price point, which is unfortunate.
I understand this is a new, fresh Michelin “recommended” restaurant in Palm beach, but there was much to be desired unfortunately. People who have attended other Omakase experiences will feel shorted unfortunately. The menu has been revised a few times it seems, but at the detriment to the customer, with the menu reduced from 15 course to 13, 10 course to 8. Gratuity is automatically input at 20%. Our server made $114 for 3 appearances. Sparkling water is $7, and you don’t get the bottle as customary in many other establishments. I had high expectations, and unfortunately moody tongue lived up to its namesake in my case. Earning a Michelin star is still a ways to go.
