I had not been to Moon BBQ in almost 5 years. The menu had changed a bit as well as the prices. We tried beef belly, chicken gizzards, spicy pork belly, marinated short ribs, large intestine and enjoyed the steamed egg, kimchi noodles and tofu soup. Everything seemed fine until we got home. We were hit with bad tummies. I don't think we will return.

We booked here because they actually take reservations for groups over 5 people — most Korean BBQ places only accept reservations for 10+, so this was a huge plus. The food was delicious and the servers were friendly and attentive. I especially loved their beef tongue and steamed egg, and the sirloin was really good too. Definitely worth the money! Parking in the mall can get a little tight at times, but there’s always street parking nearby. Highly recommended!

Amazing food, good meats not the best but still very tasty. Service is faaaaast and they are very nice. Very small so can feel a bit cramped. Parking is not the greatest. The side dishes are great. Would definitely recommend. Walk ins of course no reservations, all you can eat!

My first time going here , valentines day weekend , i obviously expected it to be busy. no worries. we get seated and right away our server/hostess asks us if we’re ready to order and we felt rushed. didnt even ask us for drinks or anything. food came before anything else. seems like nobody wanted to help us. would probably never come here again

Moon BBQ is an all-you-can-eat (AYCE) Korean barbecue place! My favorite cut of meat was the spicy pork belly, and my friends favorite was the marinated beef short ribs. The spicy pork belly was tender, sweet, slightly savory, and covered with a spiciness that was perfect with their jiggly, airy, honestly one of the best AYCE steamed eggs I've tried. The short ribs were marinated perfectly and even if slightly overcooked it was extremely tender, smokey, sweet and delicious, my friends absolutely loved this cut of meat and it's no wonder that it is limited to one per person. And I rarely compliment service like this but Moon BBQ had the most attentive and frequent service I've ever had, we probably had around 25 grill changes without asking, and our rotation of waiters would always unexpectedly come to help cut and cook our meats! (Truly thank you so much! We three boys were too scared of the barbeque fires 😅) Overall Moon BBQ's service was unexpectedly amazing, their marinades are super delicious, and the next time I come I will certainly eat to my heart's desire!

Went to Moon Korean BBQ all-you-can-eat with friends in the evening, and everything was great even the price! The food was delicious and not too salty. The meat quality was good, especially the pork belly — nicely thick and tasty. The steamed egg was also super good, soft and flavorful. Highly recommended😍

Got here solo and didn’t realize minimum of 2 ppl per table which is no big deal. Have to charge me twice. It was packed and it’s a small place. Parking is a pain. However the staff and especially the owner/manager was very accommodating and nice. Don’t expect a glamous buffet, or sauce bar, or veggies and such: it’s basic but good due to limit space with the place and tables. Food is great and fast. Hidden gem.

Service was fast and friendly! Decent variety of cuts in the AYCE. I'm a tall guy, and had no issue eating plenty in the time we were there. Only issue was there was a piece of metal wire - perhaps from wire mesh cleaning - in/on the grill or meat at one point. Actual safety hazard. The server was very apologetic about it, but there wasn't any attempt to comp or otherwise smooth the situation over. I found that a bit odd, but I wasn't going to make a racket since it's a busy Friday night. We're locals, so maybe I'll try and go in during a slower time and talk with the manager.

Service was quick and there are lots of TVs! Food was pretty good, the typical BBQ meat options. I thought the banchan side dishes weren't as fresh. Some things like the bean sprouts felt like it had already gone bad. The floors are a bit oily but that's typical of KBBQ joints

This is one of those hole in the wall spots that people must try. The food is bomb, the staff are kind and fast, and the ambiance transports you into a kdrama lol (only bc I've never been to Korea). The seating are round tables with a wired grill in the middle and stools to sit on. The meats are marinaded perfectly. The ban Chan are seasoned perfectly. And the complimentary noodle with soup was the best appetizer ever. I should've asked if I could order more. I genuinely enjoyed eating here. I'll definitely be back soon and you should try it too. Parking lot is small so be prepared for that. We parked on the street.

They have one of the highest quality meat, beef n stew. Not to mention highly attentive service, never once did at have to request out grill to be changed. They are on top of their game! Indoor is an old school golf in the wall in an alley type setup but it's still comfortable for a small party. Depending on hour busy they are they have a separate section for larger groups but might be taken up depending on good buddy they are

Delicious spot with limited but flavorful options. The service was enjoyable - everyone gets greeted by all staff members as you enter and exit. To accommodate to many parties the place may feel a little snuggly but it's manageable and we didn't have to wait long to be seated. Only "issue" I had was finding parking because the lot was full and most likely to also have future parking issues due to very limited spaces available; they stayed full during the whole time we were there.

Oh my God the service is 10 out of 10. I prefer this Korean barbecue over any other local Korean barbecue in my area me and my boyfriend will drive from wherever we are to come and eat here honestly it's a smaller Korean barbecue, but we have never been failed. The service is immaculate. The quality of food is great. We feel so comfortable when we know we're gonna get good food in good service for a good price.

This place was referred to me by a friend and it was really good. I enjoyed my experience here. Food: I chose option A for $34.99 per person all you can eat on selected items, and I had the beef brisket, tenderloin, beef short ribs, blazing chicken, and a steamed egg. My favorite was definitely the beef short ribs as it was packed with flavor! Service: I came on a Monday night, slightly busy, but not crowded. I was seated immediately. The waiters were really nice and helpful, as it was only my 2nd time experiencing Korean bbq. Ambiance: the place is small and cute, located in a small shopping center with a parking lot. Tables are kind of close together, and seats weren't the most comfortable.

Moon has been my k-bbq spot for yearrsssss!! They have the best selection of meat especially the spicy pork belly. Their kimchi noodle soup and steamed egg is the best, I order it every time. It's a must. The experience here is not like any other k-bbq place. You're sitting on these little stools around the grill it just feels like a unique experience. The service here is amazing they really make you feel like family. Every time I go they're always greeting me with huge smiles and hugs since I've known them for so long. I highly recommend!

To the moon and back? Eh.... I've passed by this place so many times and finally tried it out. They are only open for dinner time; as a personal preference I like ayce Kbbq for lunch. Anywho... the parking is cramp, and can get busy fast, choose your spot wisely as you may get blocked in. This place filled up quick so I would come right when they open to avoid a wait. The staff were friendly, all smiles here. The place itself feels cramped inside as well and I'm not sure how to feel about the round tables, there was only 2 of us and it got full fast with the ban chans and meat plates. Now as for the food, it was pretty good, we went with option A which had a lot of meats to choose from. Nothing really stood out though, and for me, what makes Kbbq really hit is how a place makes their brisket sauce, and the one here didn't really do it for me. More on the sweet and thicker side. Overall, this place was decent, with so many other kbbq options around the area now, I'm not sure if I'll be back. Happy eats, loves! ^_^

We love coming here so much!!! Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing the music is great. They are always so sweet to my little baby and he loves the staff too. Yes it's on the pricey side but it so much better then gen by 1000x times more. We love it here!!! Wish we could have taken a picture but we ate it all

Everything about this place was perfect. No wait for a table, the ambiance is small but quaint and the atmosphere of the restaurant overall is comfortable. The food was delicious and endless; the menu is lined up to easily read on the wall with more than enough options both hot and cold. The service was excellent- cannot wait to come back again!

Parking is in a commercial parking strip or on the street you won't have a problem I love the variety of meats that they have very fresh and the soups they serve amazing , ambience is very hip and I love the music that they play as the night gets later. Service is absolutely amazing I have never had a roble with this lace one of my favorites in the area

This was hands down the worst all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ experience I've ever had. Their cost-cutting tactics are obvious and ruin the meal. You're limited on how often you can order the same item, the meat is sliced so thin it burns almost instantly, and they seem more focused on preventing customers from getting their money's worth than actually providing a good dining experience. The service was just as bad. Servers ignored multiple requests, making it a struggle just to get more food. They even rushed us to pay before our two-hour limit was up as if they couldn't wait to clear the table and move on. At $35 per person, the quality and service don't come close to justifying the price. Honestly, I'd rather spend an extra $10 at Gen KBBQ. The meat there is high quality, the service is smooth, and you can actually enjoy your meal without chasing down staff or cramming into a tight space.

10/10 just became my favorite local Korean bbq:) Soooooo delicious! It's honestly a hidden one but I assure you the meat here and service is amazing. The workers of Moon bbq are so nice and are very good at being attentive. They also tend to help out sort your meats out onto the grill to help start you off while you finish your meal. It's genuinely one of the most sanitizing Korean bbq I've been to. They're always making sure to switch out your grill every course and make sure your empty dishes are not sitting there. Thank you so much for everything i definitely would recommend for anyone questioning to come:) ambiance is a 100/10.

It was pretty good it was my first time going to a Korean bbq and it was AYCE lots of meets you can choose from I do wish that there were more variety in the side dishes. But other than that there was a server with short brown hair that attended us very well she was very kind and nice and was patient on how me and my boyfriend handled the stove . They check up on you very often and change the grill which I find very nice. Very very good customer service and meats!! I recommend getting the pork belly and sirloin bits .

This KBBQ spot definitely surprised me. It's a cute little spot with the sweetest workers. You know a KBBQ place is good if they're only open during dinner. We ordered Beef Brisket, Beef Belly, and Pork Belly. For sides, we ordered Steamed Egg and Hot Kimchi Noodles. The Beef Belly and Steamed Egg were my favorite, I was seriously contemplating on ordering another steamed egg. The parking lot is on the smaller side and can get busy, you might have to find street parking. ig: @cravingswithcat

My family and I come here often, and every visit is an amazing experience! We love the ambience and the food -- it's always delicious and never a disappointment. The service is outstanding; the waiters are extremely friendly and attentive. The plates of meat and sides keep coming, and everything is fresh and flavorful. My kids absolutely love coming here, and I personally can't get enough of the hot pepper soup and ramen. Even the little details, like the ice-cold water served in small tin cups, make the experience extra special. This place consistently delivers great food, great service, and a warm atmosphere -- highly recommended! There's parking and street parking as well, it does get pack but they are quick to sit you and your family down. Definitely worth it!

No frills korean bbq - no wait on a weekend evening but do get ready for it to get smoky! There's tons of banchan, the service is quick, and it's quality, homestyle korean bbq. Hits the spot in the way that you're hoping it to. Living in NYC (Manhattan) tons of the kbbq places are overpriced and unnecessarily fancy. Homestyle kbbq can be found in Queens, but for some reason NYC kbbq lacks the radish/rice paper that seems to be standard on the west coast. The noodles they gave us at the beginning were a nice way to enter the meal. The meat which we got mostly pork and beef, were all yummy and what we expected. Paired with ssamjjang, salt, lettuce, and we got the steamed egg too because it's one of my go-tos at kbbq (which comes with your package!) would come back.

It's a nice cozy place! The menu is easy to understand! They are helpful, attentive! It was our first time at this location. We were sat right down, no wait at the evening time we went. We were full when we left. We'd return if we were in the area. The meat was tenderrrr

I believe this is the original Moon. There's another Moon #2 that's several blocks down on the same street. I believe they have affiliation. Anywho..parking for this location is pretty easy. Inside, however, is pretty small so if you're thinking about going with a large group you might wanna reconsider. They have two options from the menu to choose from A and B. They have a pretty nice selection in the A option but just a few more "add-ons" for the B options you're pretty good with just A. Their meat is very tasty and the quality is good. Our favorite was the chopped beef sirloin and the beef brisket. The service was good no complaints there. I will say their grills are very different. They're like the fishnet grills which is aesthetically pleasing but when cooking the meat was difficult to grab because I kept grabbing the grill by accident. Overall we had a good experience but I don't know if we'll go back just cause there's so many other places to try but this place was decent.

Friendly and attentive staffs! Meats are highly quality. Banchan are flavorful and fresh, one of the best kimchi and cilantro, green onions and onion I have ever tasted . I highly recommend red spicy stew, the soup of so flavorful. I will definitely be back here again!

I love this place! It's closer to my house than Koreatown and the quality is great. The service is always great, all the service is so nice and pleasant. The food is great, I love all the sides. My favorite meat is the brisket, so good and fatty and thin. The ambience is chill which I love.

I was recommended to this restaurant and we had a great time but had one issue when the guy told us that we had reach our limit on one of the meat and we had only made two orders of that meat but this place is all you can eat tho I'm confused.

My sister and I stopped by MOON BBQ right when they were opening. At first we were terrified to see how lonely the place was. But after a while, people began to show up, QUICKLY. Lucky for us, we arrived 10 to 15 mins before they opened and were seated quickly. The servers and staff were so attentive and accommodating. Constantly bringing us sides and water without having to ask. They even brought us a bowl of their miso soup once we settled in. It was really good. The meat quality was excellent. No complaints at all. One of our favorite choices was the Marinated Beef Short Ribs. It was one of our favorite choices. The ambiance was great, the music selection was great and for it being a small location, it filled up... FAST. By the time we were done, there was no parking and a line waiting to be seated. We truly can wait to comeback!

Moon BBQ, is an AYCE Korean BBQ. It's a relatively small restaurant that gets pretty busy. The staff are very kind and attentive. They work as a team and will routinely check in to ensure you have everything that you need. When you are ready to order more things, there never a member of their staff more than 10 feet away. Additionally, they are constantly switching out the grill at your table, so your cooking space is always clean and not smokey. The offer your typical selection of AYCE items, such as brisket, pork belly, beef belly, short rib, chicken and a whole host of other things that I don't really eat. The quality of the food is ok. It's not super high quality, but for an AYCE KBBQ, it's ok. Their basic KBBQ runs $33.99 per person and the price goes up from there to $39.99, which includes more options. Give this place a try...

I never do reviews but I just had to for this restaurant!!! EXCELLENT SERVICE. The staff are very attentive and this is the best service I ever received from a kbbq restaurant, the quality of the brisket and belly are A+ I am thoroughly impressed!!!!! It's a smaller place and they were very busy!! Free beer with yelp check in :) I will be returning!

10/10 would recommend!! A ton of street parking nearby, definitely recommend reserving ahead of time! Quality is perfect and the quantity is surprisingly manageable! You get enough meat for your group but not so much where you're feeling overwhelmed.

Excellent, great and swift service. Hostess and servers are very kind and energetic. Been coming here for years and I've never had a bad experience. Music always hits and energy is just right. The food is amazing and I always want to take home some of the julienned radishes lol I'm obsessed with them!! Order the chopped beef sirloin, you won't regret it. This place was alright for the price. The parking gets packed. The food was ok. They don't have a lot of meat choices and even the drinks. The service was kinda slow and I felt like they were always rushing.

The kimchi, beef brisket, and soy sauce chicken were my favorites. Not sure why the potato salad was sweet, but a beer helped wash that down. If you go, go to eat. My group of 4 was seated right away around 8pm. The ambiance is just like any other Korean BBQ, loud with a lot of drinks and the smell of grilled meat. Service was immaculate 5/5. The servers and waiters went back and forth to our grill to offer their help and even cooked some of our meat. While trying their food my friends wanted to use their salad sauce as a dipping sauce for their brisket, a waiter noticed and provided us with their special brisket sauce with jalapeños instead. Sauce itself paired really well with the grilled meat. Overall our group really enjoyed the dinner and would definitely come again! Yeah, not authentic kbbq. If you want Cheap and quantity, this is your place. But if you are looking for quality, ambiance, go somewhere else. If you want to eat your kbbq with tortilla, this is your spot. Plus parking is horrible too.

Neat little KBBQ in Gardena/Torrance area. Nice staff, attentive. The short rib was excellent, no bones to deal with. The side dishes were great. Will definitely going back and no need to drive to K town.

First time visitor There is street parking around the surrounding area by the library and city hall as well as a smaller scale parking lot Definitely a smaller scale Korean bbq - maybe 15 to 25 round tables with stools however it would appear small and large parties can fit accordingly Appears to have 1 flatscreen tv and it gets very loud with the music chatter and enclosed area 2 hour time limit for AYCE There are 2 menus choices available along with a kid pricing but up to age 5? Definitely strong first impression with everyone genuinely greeting Table is set / Sides and sauces are brought out ready at table upon sitting An appetizer soup was provided and part of the AYCE included many types of soups such as the steam egg hot kimchi noodles soybean stew and red pepper stew We consumed 4 rounds (2 rounds of meat order each time and some meats are specific to 1 per party) Beef tenderloin chopped up sirloin beef marinated short rib Beef tongue (thinly sliced and frozen upon arrival) Spicy pork belly / loved that it's already cut up into portions instead of a very long strip Beef brisket Chicken gizzards Small intestine Quality of meats were very good, good flavor tender, cooked up well - please note the grill has an exposed flame below so watch your grease as flames will come shooting up The sides were radish rice paper potato kimchi pickled vegetable cilantro and onion The gizzard which had growing up cooked well but didn't have an appealing taste, same with small intestine had previously but wasn't a fan Also watch the smoke during as it will blow in your face quite a bit due to the configuration of the room and tables The service was amazing Many amazing ladies continuously checking up for meats, sides, asking if everything was ok, they never seemed annoyed and very patient and pleasant The music and chatter can get loud so don't be surprise when you have to speak louder for the person sitting next to you to hear you Certainly a place to return for good service quality meats and fair price points and really strong customer service!

Moon BBQ doesn't disappoint. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Same goes for owner who we thought was just some guy we were talking to until he offered our son a free dessert. The food is very good. We've been here a few times and definitely recommend going on a slow night. Previous times we were there it was packed and the room filled with smoke.

This place is All You Can Eat KBBQ! One of the rare places in the area and it was about $35 :) They have a ton of sides: kimchi, salad, pickled coleslaw, pickled radish, rice paper, mashed potatoes, and cilantro. The meat was really good, but you have to cook it yourself. They switched the grills too often though so some of the meat got stuck because not enough fat got on it and the grill got too hot before they brought in the meat/they didn't tell us we could turn down the temp... The tables were also wwwaayy too small to fit all the sides, the beer, and the meat....it was very squished.

Came here with my boyfriend to try something new and it was amazing. He was the chef all night they helped us out since it was our first time. The service is quick and fast. It is a small place so definitely get there in time as soon as they open, but the food is good, the meat is good delicious.

My favorite spot for AYCB outside of Ktown! The food is a good deal ($34 pp). However what keeps us coming back is the excellent service and hospitality. The sweet ladies who run this place are super attentive. They always make us feel so welcome so we love coming here.
