The 13 Best Restaurants In Kingston, New York 2024

"The smashburgers at this sleek vegetarian drive-thru are so good you’ll forget that no cows were harmed in their making. The oversized patties are juicy, griddle-crisped, and loaded onto a potato bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and a “special sauce.” They usually have two vegan milkshakes, and one is always a brownie batter variety that tastes exactly like sneaking a lick of boxed Ghirardelli mix off of a spatula. Get an order of crisp, spicy hot fries to round out your meal. You can add cheese to your burger or fries, just note that they use the real stuff, not the plant-based kind. " - anne cruz

Google
We feel betrayed by the new origin story that pretends they didn’t grow with the support of vegans and vegetarian. If you want to include meat in your menu that is your prerogative; it’s also mine to stop being a customer. The following review is before Moonburger stopped being all vegetarian: The burgers were full of flavor, the fries were fresh and the cheddar cheese dipping sauce was perhaps the best we've had at a restaurant. We travelled an hour for these burgers and will do so again!

Google
The best vegetarian/vegan fast food option in town! Their burgers are really good and the shakes are incredible. They have beef now if you want it. The line can move kind of slowly, so you may have to wait if you visit during peak meal times. They are drive-thru only, but I usually park along the side road and eat my burger.

Google
Love the straightforward menu and prices! The MB Signature burger was delicious, especially the sauce. The moon cheese sauce is a mix between queso and a beer cheese. The fries are ok, always a little undercooked/soft, but they are a good size and not overly salty. It is drive through only!

I try to go to Moonburger whenever there is one relatively nearby. This was my first time at the Kingston drive thru only location. The staff were really amazing ! And so was the food. I’ve never had a bad food item here . I support the transition if then also having meat even tho I don’t eat it. Whatever keeps them around ❤️

Google
Eat here! The cool outside aesthetic of moon burger pulled me in, and the food delivers! The burgers are plant based (like impossible burgers). I don’t normally go for that but these were really delicious. Definitely get the fries, too! The prices are a bit higher than normal fast food but not unreasonable. They also offer GF buns. Drive thru was cute, and retro. Their food is out of this world - ha!

Google
PSA: if you value your health and have food allergies, I strongly recommend you never, ever give Moonburger your business. I never write reviews of anything (this is literally my first) and I hate to, but I have been to Moonburger 6 times. 5 of those 6 times - that's 83% of my visits - they have made a serious mistake on the order. I'm not talking about missing ingredients or missing items, although that happens every time as well, I'm talking about serious food allergy mistakes. Without fail, I politely request no cheese and explain that it's an allergy. Without fail, they put cheese on the burger anyway. One time, I had to go back THREE TIMES in one night for them to get it right (and by "right," I just mean without ingredients I explicitly told them I'm allergic to. There are ALWAYS other ingredients missing or added without being requested, which is not the end of the world). They are usually apologetic and give me tokens to use for free meals when I return, but it doesn't matter anymore. They have an infinitesimally small menu and yet they manage to make serious mistakes every single time. I'll be giving my remaining tokens to those who need it more than me and I'll never go back again. Enough is enough. They're going to seriously hurt someone, if not worse. I see dozens of reviews stating the same thing, sometimes blaming the employees, sometimes laying blame elsewhere. Ultimately, this is on ownership as it happens at all locations, apparently, and with significant frequency. They need to either massively overhaul their training and quality control immediately or they should not be in business, full stop. I don't say that lightly, but they are simply not to be trusted. Great concept, it's really a shame.

Google
Double burger with vegan cheese was messy when I received it as you can see from my photo. Sauce all over the wrapper and just not put together well. Barely any lettuce or onions on it. And they don't specify what's in their "special sauce" so not sure if it was vegan or gluten-free. I ordered ahead for pickup at a certain time and when I got there they still had to make all my food so I had to wait. Hard to find the place as it's very small and tucked back off the main road in between 2 Quik Checks. I wish it was all vegan as their ordering online is confusing. Positives: I will say that the fries were really good, as was the brownie shake. And I have celiac disease so I also appreciate that they have gluten-free buns and that shake. Also, I just appreciate in general that a fast food type place offers vegan and gluten-free options.

Google
These people charge about $9 for a cheeseburger now I'm going to be honest with you if you've ever had the 1921 Burger from White Castle. This is only maybe half as good as that. And that burger is around $2.50. so obviously there are no White castles near Kingston, New York and obviously by the rest of my reviews. I'm from the New York City area so that might make me seem like some sort of a snob or a clown, but let's be realistic for $9 this ain't it. And it seemed like, and I don't know if I came near closing time or something else was going on. The person that helped me wasn't rude but had a blank personality and I can totally accept that. I don't blame her in any way. But if you're not ready for that kind of thing, be prepared.

Yelp
I was excited about Moonburger and the fact that they have gluten free buns. This evening was my second visit. They are very inconsistent, which is disappointing. My son wanted a plain burger and there were onions and mushrooms on it. I ordered a double patty and only received one patty. The patties were barely big enough for the buns and very thick and one was cooked properly and the other was bright pink inside. They were obviously not cooked properly. Our fries were Luke warm at best, which is also disappointing. Not sure if I will give it another try.

Yelp
I've always driven by, and seen a line of cars waiting to order. Knowing that the burgers are "Veggie burgers", I was intrigued. I lucked out. It was 6:30 PM on the Friday before Labor Day, and there was only one car in front of me. I decided to go with the cheeseburger combo, with a small fries, (They told me the spicy fries are pretty spicy, so I passed...) I wanted to try the cheese dipping sauce for the fries, but they were out. For an "impossible burger", it was very good. The texture was a bit softer than your average burger, and I could tell from the taste that it wasn't a "real burger", but it was still very good. It had a rich flavor to it that I liked. The cheese, onion, lettuce and tomato were also good, nice and fresh. The bun was good, and held up well to the burger. I didn't care for the fries. They were just your generic fast food fries, and they were just warm, at best. I would try them if I could get them next time with the cheese sauce, but other than that, pass.... I paid about $14 out the door. A bit on the higher end, but it *was* a good burger. Thanks.

Yelp
Really liked the impossible burgers; tasty sauce, fresh buns. The fries are cold and basic as others have said and the hot fries I didn't even finish because the flavor was lacking. It's overpriced but I like the concept. I'd be back for a "burger" but I'd skip the fries and would of liked a classic vanilla/choc milkshake option!

Yelp
This place is the worst place you can eat at. First of all any location you go at is a fuc up. I can't stress that enough. They always be really screwing up ordered and on top of a huge wait is crazy There is always an irregularly long wait like 30 mins. For example I sat on the line for 30 mins today and two cars were served in that time period and they had a line of 10-15 cars. Everyone on the line was visibly frustrated. I only am going there because I have these free coupons but that's not even worth it I have no desire to ever eat there again. There is no reason to go there cook ur stuff at home‼ Update: Day later I'm back and they don't have fries they said a machine broke they lyin they're lazy they don't even have a sign up telling people this. when i pulled up the fry machine was on here's a picture of it on

Yelp
Perfect easy drive through stop while charging the car right across the street. Pretty slimmed down menu of classic impossible burgers or cheeseburgers, normal or hot fries, and shakes. Service was friendly and it was reasonably quick. The burger was great, nicely griddled, with pickles, a good sauce, tomato, lettuce, a soft bun. The hot fries were nicely crispy with a good level of spice.

Yelp
So happy Moonburger does what they do. There is a difference between having a plant-based option on the menu and having a fully vegetarian friendly fast food restaurant. To anyone complaining they should have beef option, literally you can go just about anywhere else. Let people who don't want or can't eat meat for whatever reasons they have, please just let us have this one wonderful place all to ourselves. And who knows, maybe you'll try it and actually like it, I know I did. Just after opening on a Saturday morning we pulled up to the drive-thru to order. The person on the intercom was super nice and patient as we placed out order. We didn't see it on the menu but we asked about a vegan cheese option and there was one available but because of different definitions of veganism they just call their plant-based cheese as dairy-free/egg-free. We ordered two dairy-free/egg-free cheeseburgers combos, and one burger with dairy cheese. The combos included fresh, crispy, shoestring French fries available in plain or hot (spicy) and a soft drink. I believe we paid a small fee to upgrade our soft drinks to shakes. We tried both the Brownie Batter Shake and the Strawberry Shortcake Shake with non-dairy whipped cream, they were both great but the Strawberry Shortcake shake really did it for me, yum! I really enjoyed the burger it was hot, juicy, "meaty" cheesy, with those little crispy onion pieces on a great bun... just wow! They have really great burgers and those hot fries - BK, McD's, Wendy, Sonic, Arby's, Fiveguys, watch out... there is a new burger place in upstate NY that will knock your socks off! It is a burger drive-thru, if you're hoping for beef, chicken sandwiches, fish fillets, just keep driving, OR, now hear me out, OR stop by and be pleasantly surprised just how good plant-based can be! Drive-thru only, no indoor dining, I didn't take note of any outdoor seating either but they are slinging impossible patties and fries so fast you'll be in and back out on your way in no time! Seriously, check out Moonburger now!!

Gerry H.

Yelp
The worst fast-food experience of my life. It took three different staff members to handle a simple order of two cheeseburgers, one regular burger, and fries. With a line of cars behind me at the drive-thru, the third staffer confidently assured me that she understood what I wanted and that the order would be correct. After getting home, I discovered it was wrong. In hindsight, I should have checked at the drive-thru, but after being double-assured everything was right, and with the drive-thru line behind me, I trusted them. Big mistake. Moonburger also claims its burgers are "lovingly made to order," but I didn't feel the love with the ones I got. They clearly appeared to have been sitting around. Besides looking old, the patties seemed slapped onto the buns with little care. To top it off, the fries were cold.

Yelp
Looking for vegan - found Moonburger. Went at 4pm and they were already overwhelmed. Basic burgers without cheese were better than expected. Delicious buns. Fries were meh Kids loved their $5 grilled cheese Shake machine was broken and that was disappointing

Sarah F.

Yelp
I got the small cheeseburger meal with hot fries. The burger is great! I really liked the texture and flavor and could've fooled me that it's not beef. The fries were ok. They were actually better cold. Service was fast and friendly. I hope they build more locations and maybe expand the menu!

Yelp
Omg! My dreams have come true! There is a vegetarian/plant based drive thru for burgers fries and shakes oh my! Everything was delicious and I would have given 5 stars except our fries were cold, a little lukewarm. However, I could imagine what they would have tasted like fresh out the grease and everything else made up for it. The classic cheeseburger combo was just right and the strawberry shortcake shake is delicious! The chocolate was great also, but strawberry is my favorite! Can't wait to get back.

Yelp
Mesmerized by it's fascinating exterior, I decided to give Moonburger a chance. Taking this into account, Moonburger is a drive-thru only restaurant that only serves impossible beef. Anyways, I ordered a cheeseburger, french fries, and a chocolate shake. To initiate, the cheeseburger was decent, but it would have been so much better if it was real beef. I understand having impossible meat on the menu, but there should be an option for people who eat beef. It's a shame because I loved the potato style bun, it was fresh and had great flavor. In addition, the special sauce was delicious. It was sweet, tangy, and went great with the burger. I really enjoyed everything about the burger except the weird taste from the fake beef. On the other hand, the french fries were really tasty. The fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned properly. In contrast, the chocolate shake would have been great if they used real milk instead of oat milk. To elaborate, the shake was creamy and had good flavor, but it tasted like there were seeds in the shake from the oats. At long last, Moonburger has a cool exterior and decent food, but they could be great if they offered actual beef.

Yelp
The food was spectacular. The issue is using the drive thru. What a mess. They can only handle 3 cars on the line. I had a suburban and if I pulled in all the way I would have blocked the road. I sat there waiting my turn and some Karen pulled in ahead of me cutting into the opposite lane cutting me off. I tried to go thru the website to order online. 20-30 minute wait. Not cool at all. They tried thier best but when u are forced to work in 500 sft with 5 other people it must be a hot mess in there. Very frustrating. Try during off hours.

Yelp
Moonburger! Nom Nom! Fresh, char- broiled cheeseburger and classic fries. Drive thru only, fast friendly service. Impossible meat never tasted so good!!

Helema K.

Yelp
Oh how I love you Moonburger, let me count the ways. I look forward to my next meal in less than a week! I can easily see this becoming a bad habit and having to get my weekly fix. Dangerously delicious!! I better not gain weight but damn you are worth every scrumptious bite! Slow service, hopefully they can solve this issue. But I am willing to be patient for what I believe is the best burger I have ever had. I recently read they were serving beef and so I had to go ASAP!!! And it was beyond heaven. Please, oh please let my next premium beef burger be just as delightful for my tastebuds as my previous burger. Mmmm mmm great! I love love you Moonburger! I wish they had indoor seating etc... something tells me they will (wishful thinking)

Yelp
Legitimately bad. I love vegan food but this was sloppy and disgusting. They took vegan cooking back by decades. Avoid at all costs.

Charlotte C.

Yelp
VEGANS beware - they are now serving BEEF burgers at Moonburger. We have loved Moonburger for close to 3 years and look forward to going at least once per week for their delicious impossible burgers and dairy-free brownie batter shake, knowing that I as a vegan I can get a fast and fully plant-based meal. At our recent trip we were asked if we wanted a beef burger! I couldn't believe my ears. Wasn't one of the big attractions to Moonburger the fact that they are meat free, therefore cruelty-free??? What sell-outs! In fact, I have to question if Moonburger was purchased by a corp? It feels like it was. With so few plant-based options in this area I am personally grieving this new development. Not to mention the last 3 times we visited, there were long lines (like never before - prob due to the intro of beef) It would have taken a minimum of 30 mins to get our meal so each time we have turned around and went elsewhere. When will restaurants finally get it that the future is meat-free? And to switch ethics after establishing a successful brand is deeply disappointing - I used to tell everyone I know to go there and now I will direct them to Garden Café and anywhere else that I imagine won't give up on a cause as important as vegan and vegetarianism. Such a shame.

Evan T.

Yelp
I've supported moonburger since they started in Kingston, during the pandemic. I told everyone about them who would listen; there's a new burger joint, and the burgers are (were) actually good! I think I personally brought them so many new customers just from word of mouth. However, as time went on, something changed. The burgers stopped being good. They're burned every time, a charred disaster thrown into their wrapper, becoming a disgusting mess that sticks to the wrapper and is unpleasant to unwrap and eat. The fries are over salted EVERY time. Also, the service went downhill fast while the prices went up exponentially. The simple fact of the matter is, it's much more expensive now for worse food and worse service, it's no better than just going to Burger King now. Save your money. Such a shame to see a local business falter.
google avatar

Eryn M.

Yelp
This is a great vegan spot for anyone that does not eat meat. The burgers and fries are both delicious! The burgers can come with non dairy cheese or dairy cheese. They also have delicious non dairy shakes!

Deb S.

Yelp
Ten minutes on line. And then drove away with cold French fries. Cheeseburger was fine
google avatar

Laura N.

Yelp
Love, love, love this place. I always wanted to see a vegan fast food drive thru and finally there is one and it's delicious. The staff was really friendly and nice and the burger and fries were fantastic. So happy for this establishment to exit and hope they open more in the Hudson valley and in nyc too!

Yelp
Wow, it looks like opinions are very varied on Moonburger. I feel like I got lucky; pulled up on a friday night, and there were only 2 cars ahead of me, order was completed in a reasonable amount of time, and they got everything in the order correct, so they've got the basics down. Pros: -The order-taker read my order back to me clearly (which was good because one part was wrong and we corrected it right then). -Plant-based burgers: for us this was not a big deal but we were intrigued. We like Impossible burgers (I don't know what brand/supplier they use here, maybe they make their own?) -Simple menu can actually be a plus when you're trying to feed multiple people, kids, etc Cons: -I could see how the wait could stack up when there are a lot of people in the drive-through -Not really a huge con given that they're a smaller operation and vegetarian/vegan food can be more expensive, but it is not 'cheap' (Four cheeseburgers, large shakes, and large fries is about $70) -The location is very nice looking but the drive-through is a bit awkwardly arranged; any more than 3 cars and someone is going to be out in the street, potentially holding up traffic. Luckily the side road is not very busy The burgers are very good, though like at most fast food places, you're not going to get a ton of burger-y flavor. Most of the taste is their sauce, cheese, onions, etc. However the patty is quite good and the whole burger really does satisfy the 'fast food' craving as good as a beef burger would. Fries were excellent as well. Personally, I found the shakes (which I believe are made with oat milk) to be outstanding. We tried both kinds (chocolate brownie and strawberry shortcake).

Lea S.

Yelp
What a tasty vegan cheese burger and fries! Love those little crunchy pickles. Really hit the spot tonight when everything else in Kingston was closed.

Ivelisse O.

Yelp
Usually I don't have any bad vibes or cold food here. I pulled up not one car so it should be quick. The girl on the speaker thing got a snippy lil attitude. And it continues to the window. I sat for a long ass time at that window waiting for my food. Burger! Banging!!! Fries ice cold. Chick- still got an attitude "have a nice day" with a dead face on . I never write reviews but I'm tight cause I was having a bad day. So whoever u r lady you gotta work on your customer service mask .

John L.

Yelp
Employees here are work extremely minimalistic, on their phones (manager behind them not caring), using the same gloves, leftover cooked patties during rush times that sit for minutes on minutes, and trust me there's a reason fries taste weird after 8, because they put into a bowl. Trust me I've worked here in the past, not worth your money especially since they are increasing the price steadily.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
It's delightful to have this as an option in the area. I loved the drive through, vibe and the friendly service. This is something that is pretty good that is positioned to possibly be really, really great in the near future. I'll be back again because I'm always looking for a tasty veggie burger and these people might just be the ones to deliver it someday soon. Good fries!

Sierra E.

Yelp
Had such a bad experience this weekend. Went there 2x and couldn't believe the second time. They messed up my order 2x to the point where I just said forget it and threw it away. The person taking the orders didn't understand what the issue was but it was as simple as they all had dairy cheese on them and they weren't supposed to have dairy or vegan cheese on them (we are vegan) he kept going in circles before the manager came over and helped us. Both times the orders were taken right as the sticker of the order on each burger said the correct thing but again the order was wrong! I could have went back and told them but when I did that before I got an attitude and he made me wait 20 minutes just for him to give me the ring around. We had a long drive home and I already wasted an hour at the establishment and had 2 impatient kids. So I wasted 70$

Radika H.

Yelp
The maple cinnamon bun milkshake was out of this world. I don't like the brownies shake, I wish the maple was all year round. The fries/cheese sauce is good. I wish it was slightly lower prices or had some kind of rewards program.
google avatar

Paul S.

Yelp
Today I was duped into eating an unnecessary vegan burger. Beware of the fine print that says "meatless". I didn't catch it unfortunately. Besides that the burger is half the size of the picture !! Seriously one step above a White Castle. and raw. Don't trust the pictures. In addition I purchased the meal for $12. Let's see.. minimal overhead since it's just drive through. Limited menu. The burgers should be half the price. And they should have options for carnivores. This place will be out if business in a year or two.
google avatar

Brian R.

Yelp
Oh wow this place is fantastic. I went for their grand opening earlier. I got a double cheeseburger, hot fries, and a milkshake. Everything was delicious and everyone was super nice. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Get your reciept! You may need it for corrections. Also consider this to be a time commitment that may not feel like the fast food it aspires to be. Very happy to have vegetarian/vegan options available, but sadly, the volume of customers may be causing errors. Their popularity is also causing a long line, Sunday at 1 PM, it was 25 minutes from the end to when our order was taken, plus another 10 m to deliver. Apparently, this was good, as I heard others waiting 90 minutes. Person taking the order and handing out was very thorough. They read back the order correctly, twice. Then, they nearly forgot to hand over our shake. After unpacking in a nearby park, we discovered three errors. Both fries were sized the same and the same type, and there were pickles where they shouldn't be. The cheese sauce is the best thing there! Sorry to say the oat shake had an odd chemical taste. We regularly consume mylks of all varieties, and it wasn't a customary flavor. I also would like to add that I did use the form on their website to attempt to contact them regarding my concerns, and I have not heard back. At the shop does not have a walk-up counter, I'm not sure how you're supposed to contact them if you have a problem concern or compliment.

Yelp
Moooooooonburger. That's what my family says when someone mentions it. Mooooooonburger... We love Moonburger! And what's not to love? Absolutely delicious veggie burgers that rival all competitors (including those that serve real beef)! They do this really cool thing with the toppings...first off they have a fabulous special sauce with intricate arcane ingredients that none shall ever fully understand, fresh tomatoes and lettuce, delicious cheese, but then...the best part of all...they put both sauteed onions and crispy fried onions that gives incredible flavor and a delightful crunch! We love Moonburger... The fries are perfect! Shoestring thin and crispy! And cheese sauce if you're feeling indulgent! And don't miss the "nice mandarin" to get some extra vitamins in you. I ordered one the other day because I felt like I needed fruit and it was the best freaking mandarin orange I ever tasted!!! We love Moonburger...we love it lots. May they remain here forever.
google avatar

Elena K.

Yelp
After sitting in the queue for awhile we found out there is no meat in these "burgers". Make it very clear on the sign so that people don't wait in line unnecessarily!
google avatar

Shannon D.

Yelp
not worth the price. fries are underwhelming. 2$ extra for small cup of cheese sauce ? a shitty 5 guys but plant based
google avatar

Lauren J.

Yelp
Tried this for the first time and I was pretty impressed. I love the concept of a drive thru only and as a vegetarian I really appreciate what they've got over here. The burger was flavorful and my boyfriend even said it could pass for real meat. The brownie shake was really rich and delicious. Fries were nice and crispy. The one thing I will say is they should fix the menu sign so it doesn't keep changing between screens. It made it a little difficult to see the menu and order especially if it's your first time and you don't know what's offered. I'm definitely coming back here though
google avatar

Gerrit B.

Yelp
I love burgers but can't eat red meat for health reasons. So, anytime I see plant-based options I jump all over it. This was definitely the best take on a plant-based burger I've had. I got the cheeseburger, and I think the double onion and special sauce is what made it shine. Also, maybe the hot fries were the best part? Why is nobody else doing this?! The taste reminds me of BBQ chips and Andy Capp's hot fries, but these are actually spicy. The cheese sauce had a great consistency, and paired well with the hot fries, too. The Brownie Batter shake is pretty good. Certainly better than I thought you could do with only vegan ingredients. Oh - and no wait (around 3 pm on a Saturday).
google avatar

Darwin K.

Yelp
Delicious, consistent & a fabulous addition to the Kingston area! The burgers are perfection (and I eat a lot of Impossible products) & the chocolate shake is amazing. Omnivores I've introduced to Moonburger were floored. My only suggestion would be to add onion rings to the menu. Thank you for making veggie burgers cool.
google avatar

Brandi S.

Yelp
The food is delicious. Burgers are cooked perfectly, the onion mix is great. Fries are crispy. Milkshakes are out of this world. Service is not good. Ordered something, but when I asked the server about it she said "you didn't order that" (I know for a fact I did, confirmed the person sitting next to me) and was combative and rude about it. Not like they even give you a receipt to see what you've got charged about.

Sheila G.

Yelp
Ambiance = Great red & white logo sign & short sharp narrow winding driveway. Food = Great burger that reminded me of Moms homemade or the local luncheonette burgers I knew as a kid in Brooklyn. Same vibe with the french fries, although they would have been tastier with less superfluous salt, TYVM. I still enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back. Please note the above was my first review and I forgot to post it. I've been back 3 times since then and I will post this now so I can drive to Moonburger for lunch !

If you're driving on the New York State Thruway through the Hudson Valley, you have no business going to McDonald's, Burger King or even Wendy's... Moonburger is the place to go. This business is independently/locally owned and operated (not a chain joint), burgers are fresh, lettuce is crisp and they will work with you on customized options (I asked for no pickles & no salt). It may cost you a dollar or two more than a chain joint, but the quality difference more than justifies. I'd suggest you utilize your hard earned dollars at this locally owned operation.

Yelp
Moonburger is consistently outstanding. The customer service is top notch and the food is simply delicious. Secret fun fact: hands down, the best fountain Diet Coke on the planet!

Yelp
Very good! I love the single cheeseburger. Their hot fries are excellent as well especially with the cheese sauce. I like that they have vegetarian and vegan options. I'm happy about the real cheese. Good service on the drive through and very fast.

Yelp
Terrible customer service. One minute after ordering our burgers, I realized that I'd forgotten to ask for no onions on mine. We immediately asked to change the order and completely uncompromisingly, the person at the window (confirmed by his manager) said "yeah sure. But we're going to have to charge you for another burger." Also, this guy had his headphones in and kept asking us to repeat ourselves because he obviously couldn't hear us well with highway noice + whatever music he was playing -- rude. As for food, fries had zero salt on them and "hot" spice appears to be just raw cayenne pepper. We love fries but didn't eat even 1/4 of the bag between us, as we weren't enjoying them. The burgers were m, admittedly, delicious though but I won't be back given the customer experience.

Yelp
I'm not a vegetarian and yet still Moonburger is my favorite burger place near me. It tastes amazing, feels lighter, and doesn't put me into a food coma the way other burgers do. While I love the brownie-almond milk shake with all my heart (it tastes more like an almond milk smoothie than milkshake), but it's the one menu item I hear people complain about, which you might keep in mind. It is *drive thru only* and a little busy sometimes but that's to be expected when there's good food to be had.

Yelp
Absolutely phenomenal burger. I got the Cheeseburger, and it would be unfair to the moonburger to call it vegetarian burger perfection (which it is). That's because as a meat eater I can happily say it goes toe to toe with the real deal, and was easily as good as a shake shack or five guys. Has all the fatty, meaty, Maillard-reaction-satisfaction of a great flat top burger (my number 2 favorite food on earth). And G dang crispy onions?? So good. Also hot fries were 10/10 flavor and actually had kick!

Yelp
So good, quick, easy, and best of all it's plant based, I love it! Only wish the portions were a bit bigger

Yelp
I've had Moonburger about 20 times in the last 5 days but y'know, it's aight. You should eat at Moonburger, or more like from Moonburger cuz you can't eat at it cuz you'll get in everyone's way as I found out after eating my burger after the drive thru window and before making that immediate left to get back on line to order more food.

Yelp
Went shopping in Kingston yesterday and was in the mood for a burger when my wife and I saw this place all lit up and a line coming way out of the drive thru. Come to find out the drive thru was long because there was no sit down dining room. Am giving a second Star because Don took our order correctly but the girl at the window had no personality. We tried the meal deal thing. The burger had no flavor and was so blah it was like eating the box it came in. The fries were toooo salty with fake hot powder salt. They only had a chocolate shake that had crunchy bits of something weird that left a brownie aftertaste that had more flavor then the burger but didn't go well with hot fries. If that's the best local place Kingston has I'm driving over to the Five Guys Burger chain!
