The Best Places To Eat In Little Five Points

"There are only a few scenarios where we’d willingly pass up Savage’s superior pizza for Moonlight’s. The first is if it’s late at night. Moonlight serves up pies until 4am most nights, which comes in clutch after a few too many brews at Elmyr. The other is if we have vegan friends in tow because Moonlight offers an entire vegan menu with enough options to make them feel like they're running through a field of veggies and plant-based meats. It takes a second for our eyes to adjust to the loud pink interior complete with pink wooden booths and pink tables (it’s a lotta pink), but once we do it’s the perfect low-key place to slam down some decent-sized lemon pepper wings. Much like their too-thin crusted pizza, the chicken philly won’t win any awards, but it’ll cure your hunger. " - juli horsford

The 11 Best Late Night Restaurants In Atlanta

"Open Until: 4am Moonlight in L5P serves up pizza until 4am most nights, which comes in clutch after a few too many brews at Elmyr. We can’t explain it, but their thin-crust pies work best under the moonlit sky (i.e. after a night of drinking when chewy dough seems like too much work). They also have an entire vegan menu with enough options to make us feel like we're running through a field of veggies and plant-based meats. It takes a second for our nocturnal eyes to adjust to the loud pink interior complete with pink wooden booths and pink tables (it’s a lotta pink), but once we do it’s the perfect low-key place to slam down some decent-size lemon pepper wings." - juli horsford, nina reeder

Late-Night Pizzeria Moonlight Pizza Opens in Little Five Points, Atlanta - Eater Atlanta

"Moonlight Pizza, a pizzeria serving food until 4 a.m., is now open in the former Little 5 Pizza space in the heart of Little Five Points. Located in a retail strip anchored by Corner Tavern at the corner of Euclid and Moreland, the Little Five Points location of Moonlight Pizza seats around 50 people inside, with a patio seating another 20 people at picnic tables in front of the restaurant. Expect a selection of small, medium, and large pizzas, strombolis and calzones, pasta bakes like lasagna, and sub sandwiches on the menu. Happy hour features small cheese and pepperoni pizzas for $7 each. Vegan and gluten-free pizzas and subs are also available. In addition to the Little Five Points and Greenbriar Parkway locations, owner Joseph Wescom plans to open Moonlight Pizza in Hapeville later this spring, with a fourth location opening on Old National Highway in College Park around Memorial Day. I have been coming here for a while and the Pizza is always Bomb!. One of the best places to come get pizza in Atlanta. Trust me I know I love pizza as much as you Lol. They have a Big Menu so there is something for everybody. It is also kid friendly and family friendly. Thank you for the amazing experience and I will be back soon.

Update: I take back my glowing review of this place. I ordered another vegan pizza, and they most definitely put dairy cheese on it. The workers there were goofing off most of the time, ignoring customers that came into order, messing around on their phones, and eating pizza. Original review: I almost let some of the negative reviews scare me off from trying this place, but I am glad I didn't. I got the vegan supreme, and it came out looking beautiful and tasted even better. I thought it was reasonably priced for the size and toppings too. I will definitely be coming back here to try some of their other vegan options.

Definitely do not reccomed this place I placed an order online to pickup dinner on my break at work. When I arrived they did not have my order and I was told "Oh, sometime our receipt printer doesn't send online orders through" also apparently some of the items from my order they do not serve anymore. I had to spend my entire break waiting on my food and couldn't eat it on time. Other people who ordered after me got their pizzas first and mine was just garlic bread and a salad. Speaking of the garlic bread it is HOT DOG BUNS. THEY ARE USING HOT DOG BUNS FOR GARLIC BREAD.

Little 5 Pizza had great pizza with horrible management. So when I saw this place replaced it with new management I thought I’d give it a shot. To my disappointment, it seems like they traded good management for horrible pizza. The dough was under proofed (fermented) resulting in a thin crust. I upgraded to the arabiatta sauce, so it was actually quite flavorful. The cheese, while sufficient in quantity was mediocre in flavor. And to top it all off, the amount of sausage on the pie was pitiful. I’ll give it a few months and try it again. You never know when you just happen to catch a restaurant on a bad day. But if I have the same experience, I’ll never order again.

11.30 Monday night. Stopped by at a newly re-open pizza joint. Everything but tables looks different from what is used to be ( L5Pizza) I asked about the slices, but after looking at the price and 3 or 4 different pizzas just sitting on the trays in the room temperature I decided not to go this route ... I ordered chicken tenders and a beer. Can "craft" beer was pretty steep 8 bucks, chicken tenders showed up 10 or 15 minutes later with hot sauce on the side. Interesting choice of serving them, to say the least ! McNuggets came from the same mix. it's not chicken tenders !! Fries looks great, but... they were "al dente" is this for real ?? Falfway cooked fries ? Yeah, I wouldn't recommend this place to friends nor family, frankly not to anyone !

I've ordered from here twice after it became Moonlight, and both times were extremely disappointing! I miss Little Five Pizza terribly! This place doesn't know anything about pizza! They just happen to be in the business and find a convenient location! Their product sucks! $7 for the equivalent of a $1 slice is not even laughable, it's actually disheartening! They came and contributed to Atlanta's already abysmal pizza culture! Maybe you can get a decent pie but as far as slices go? Fail! First of all the woman behind the counter promised me a HUGE slice. It was not. 2nd, I ordered a slice with extra cheese, and what I received made me ask if I'd offended the person making my order. I sent it back and, in return, received a burnt, barely cheesed slice that would enrage anybody north of the Mason Dixon! Needless to say, I won't be ordering from them again. Smfh.

I went on the second day they were open while the manager was there and my slice was out of this world! I thought about it it all day. It was similar to pizza you would find in NYC - nice and greasy pepperoni + cheesy goodness 🤤. So 3 days later (today) I decided to go back and buy a 12in. when I tell you I got a completely different product…I am so disappointed. I wasted my time and money for something I could have gotten at a chuck e. cheese or something. It feels like they were told to only put “x” amount of pep on here, and use less dough…Not sure, but I feel bamboozled.

Google
Didn't even get to try it. Picked up a flyer that said $7 large pepperoni, open until 4am. I tried to order and I was told by management the offer ends at 9.

Yelp
Replaced by my beloved L5P pizza is moonlight pizza. They offer a much broader menu with calzone, sandwiches and pasta. I got pizza by the slice, one pepperoni and one meat lovers pizza. I noticed how thin and small the slices were. When this was L5P pizza the slices were huge. These were less than a quarter of a pound a piece and two slices cost as much as a whole pizza. Yes I did weigh them when I got home. DO NOT GET PIZZA BY THE SLICE. The taste was pretty decent. Not a lot of sauce at all did't taste any pizza sauce, chewy crust, but the cheese was pretty delicious. I do not like the pink interior or the setup in the place. It just like they took the old restaurant and used pink paint. Miss the old colorful sign. The lady with pink pants and big white tennis shoes who rang me up and greeted me was first class. Very warm, friendly and helpful. She asked me as I was leaving if I wanted parm and red pepper. You could tell she has a knack for customer service. Overall it's very nice to have a late night pizza spot. I'd like to come back to try a sandwhich or a whole pie. Not exactly a go to pizza spot, but what do you expect for late night pizza?

Yelp
First time here and I craved a single slice of pizza loaded with a lot of toppings. According to the description, the Vegan Supreme was going to do the job. Before addressing the pizza, I will give kudos for the nice service and atmosphere. Now let's address the pizza I received. When the server returned with my pizza I was stunned. Its crust had the ultra thin consistency of a hard tortilla and looked dried out. The toppings were scarce and....just look at the picture. I was really hungry and didn't feel like returning the slice. Oh the can of Angry Orchard Cider was ice cold....perfect. Will I return to this establishment for pizza ? Not in the near future. Too bad Camille's went out of business....Now they did pizza slices right!!!

Yelp
They aren't open when they say they are. Big waste of time trying to order here. The food also looks terrible.

Yelp
I'm so disappointed to write this post. We live in the neighborhood and we're excited to try it for the first time. Walked in tonight and the employee was sitting in a booth and walked over to handle the person infront of us which she started arguing with because they didn't have his order in they're system. We were talking to ourselves about what slice we were going to order and she interrupted us to say "no slices.. we're about to close". We mentioned it says they're open until four and she replied "we're slow" with nothing else to add. we left hungry and bummed about the service.

Yelp
Great service . Great Pizza, Opened Late. The ambience was nice and chill. You can write on the walls too.

Yelp
Like others have mentioned I don't think ordering pizza by the slice is the move here. It's almost $8 for a fairly small slice of pepperoni. Also they are stingy with the amount of pepperoni they put on the slice. The flavor was good although a little dry. The services is friendly and they have a larger menu than L5P pizza (the previous spot here) which is a bonus. I don't think their slices are nearly as good as L5P. If I ever come back I'd like to try a whole pie to see if they execute that better.

Yelp
Fantastic service, ambiance and spectacular food. My boyfriend and I showed up late the the wrong location and Andre hooked us up with our food we had already paid for for the other location at no extra charge. The vegan options are amazing and plentiful and the pizza was so delicious. I absolutely love this place came here twice in one trip just to eat it again.
