"Crazy" is an understatement! I honestly don’t know how this place stays in business. I visited Moore Shabu (located on Clement between 4th and 5th Ave) and I’m still in shock. This is hands-down the world’s top-quality beef, and it's all-you-can-eat (AYCE). I’m talking Certified A5 Japanese Wagyu, high-end Australian beef, US Ribeye, and Brisket. The owner must be insane because there is no way they are making money serving this level of meat for an AYCE price. I even asked if there was a limit on the premium cuts, and the owner said no limit. Period. Everything tastes super good—the marbling on the Wagyu is incredible and it just melts in your mouth. Honestly, meat this good shouldn't even be allowed on an AYCE menu. If you are in San Francisco, this is a MUST try. Posting pictures so you can see the quality for yourself. Go before they realize they're giving it away!

We came here for a birthday dinner for my children's. The service is top of the line. Justine is our server was absolutely very attentive and always track our order. Food was awesome, all the meat is not frozen. Appetizers it's unlimited. Very delicious!! Owner gave us a free shots of Sake. Very good!! I highly recommended this place for private dining or family event Absolutely coming back for Moore....

We came here for weekend lunch ayce shabu shabu, and it was fantastic!! Both the wagyu and Japanese pork are of great quality, and the special presentation for the meat just gave this meal an elevated touch. We also really enjoyed the small appetizer plates all of which were refreshing and well done. HH drink pricing was an excellent deal. Katie was very friendly and extremely thoughtful - this is our new go-to place!

Loved my meal here with my good friend! The service was great! Very easy to order the whole set of food through the QR code. We opted for the Australian Wagyu all you can eat. We ordered some pork, ribeye, and lamb as well. All were quite tasty in the two broths we chose. We also got some cabbage, corn, egg rolls, and gyoza. Everything was fresh and delicious! The tables were comfortable and the vibe was lively. I’ll come back for some a al carte options, or to eat dinner and watch TV. Didn’t realize how they had a great bar set up for a solo diner!

So many great things to say about this restaurant ranging from the service to the quality of food. The owner is so sweet and puts so much thought and care into her restaurant and craft. I tried the all you can eat supreme package and it did not disappoint. The presentation was beautiful, the seafood array and the Japanese A5 wagyu were immaculate, on top of the many other selectable items. I had the sukiyaki and tom yum broth and it gave so much flavor to the meat, I didn't need to use any additional sauces (which was difficult because the sauces are deliciously house made). I even drank the broth as is! To top everything off, do not sleep on the dessert. The ice cream sandwich was so refreshing, light, and satisfies the sweet spot. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to try a new hot spot in the Inner Richmond! This restaurant is also great for big parties, even if you're looking to do some karaoke! Can't wait to return back :)

An absolute gem. The service is amazing, everyone here is super friendly, checks on you often without being disruptive and the food comes quick. The meat quality is definitely worth it. I’d recommend the A5 wagyu AYCE, it really is amazing quality and yes it’s truly AYCE. The broths were also great and the assorted veggies were all fresh and very clean. The ice cream sandwich at the end seals the deal and closes out an already amazing meal. Kingsley was our waiter and made our meal that much better.

Came here solo around 9 PM on Chinese New Year (Tuesday night). It wasn't crowded, and although there was only one waiter on the floor, he managed everything efficiently and kept a steady pace throughout the meal. They offer three tiers of all-you-can-eat, including American, Australian, and Japanese wagyu options. I chose the basic $46 tier, which includes American wagyu. Over the course of the meal, I had three plates of lamb, three plates of American wagyu, and one plate of prime beef. For appetizers, I tried the cucumber salad (decent), black fungus/wood ear (also decent), and chicken karaage, which was excellent -- crispy and flavorful. The meat quality overall was great. My first plate of American wagyu didn't look very impressive -- not much marbling and more fat along the edges. However, the next two plates were much better, with noticeably improved marbling and overall quality. For soup bases, I chose tonkotsu and extra-spicy mala. The tonkotsu was fine but probably not my favorite choice for hot pot. The mala was good, though it's more of a water-based broth rather than the heavier oil-based style you find in some traditional Chinese hot pots, so the spice doesn't cling to the meat as intensely. Still enjoyable, just a different style. Overall, no red flags for an AYCE hot pot spot. Service was smooth, meat quality was solid, and I had a genuinely good time. I'm generally generous with five stars for hot pot places, but this one deserves it. I would recommend it and would definitely come back again.

I'm going to preface by saying that this is still a decent place to dine out for Shabu, but in an area with so many similar options and a great predecessor, Moore has a lot to live up to I can't help but compare this place to Mokuku, which was what the restaurant was before the owner change. Mokuku had a menu that let you try more of their premium cuts without fully buying into it, and also a lot more premium appetizers with AYCE menus. Moore's equivalent all feels slightly...less? Sauces are good like before, and broth seems similar (though the tom yum was less good than I remembered). The meat cuts seem to have gone down a bit in quality, but I didn't try the A5 this time, so I might need to revisit. Staff is nice, but I was also surprised at how quiet it was on a Saturday night - I remember this place used to have a long line even on some weeknights A little disappointed when comparing to Mokuku in the last, but might give them another chance for the A5 next time

We came in yesterday with a large party of 17 to celebrate a birthday. Like every AYCE restaurant, they require everyone in the party to choose the same level of AYCE. We completely understood this, so as we checked in we told the guy at the front there is one person in our party who doesn't eat meat and if it would be possible to do a la carte for him. He said it was fine and they also offer a vegetarian shabu shabu as an option. This all changed when we got upstairs to the party room where we had one server for 17 people. He was kind and did well, but it was genuinely too much for one person. Not sure why the restaurant wouldn't at least have two? Things were missing, it took awhile to get a lot of our items, etc which all could've been resolved with two waiters. When we brought up the vegetarian situation to him, it was different than what the guy at front told us. He said we couldn't do à la carte and he would have to pay the same price as the meat eaters just for vegetables. In this private party room there were 4 tables, but they put us all in 2. Even though we had been before with a smaller group and we were able to utilize all 4? So we requested if he could have his own pot on another table to keep it separate, also to not take away a pot for the large amount of meat eaters, but they wouldn't even accommodate a separate pot for him. He said he could move him to another table, but he wouldn't give us an another pot? For such a large party of 17 and having only ONE person who was vegetarian...we're pretty disappointed with how they refused to make any accommodations. They were going to make a good amount off of us anyway...we're not fans of restaurants that are unreasonable to make accommodations especially when you're spending a lot of $ with them and especially when they give different answers depending on who you talk to.

The second level is perfect for a private karaoke party. Overall, Moore is a decent place for shabu or if you're looking for a private space for an event. IMO, the restaurant name doesn't do them justice since you wouldn't think Moore is a shabu place. Thank you TikTok for this find!

BURP - so funny when you've lived in a neighborhood so long that you just pass by buildings without looking in because since the old tea house that was located there in the 80s, there have been 5-6 failed places at this location. Well Moore has been here now and I finally walked in on a Sunday night. Not normally a Shabu or Hot Pot person they are always fun and entertaining experiences. Kingsley was the waiter and he walked us through the menu and we got the basic ALL YOU CAN EAT meal (under 10 is half price). Food came out great. We got the sukiyaki and tonkatsu broths and then all the basic sides like gyoza, Sweet potato fries, and chicken karage (actually doubled the gyoza). It was good fun. There are so many restaurants of this kind on the street but hopefully Moore can unlock a successful strategy to turn this location

I absolutely love this place!! I've dined here twice and I enjoyed both times I visited. Moore Asian Fusion deserves way more recognition! From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent!! I believe our host/waitress' name Eve, was super friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The ambiance is spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. They even have a full bar. The food was absolutely delicious. We did the A5 wagyu hot pot AYCE, and everything was high quality with tons of appetizer options to choose from. I would recommend the spicy miso broth and tom yum broth. Every dish came out fresh and flavorful. We also ordered a side of spicy pig ear, and to our surprise, they were kind enough to give it to us on the house. Such a thoughtful gesture that really speaks to their hospitality. Overall, great food, great service, and great vibes. I honestly wish they were busier because they truly deserve the recognition. Thank you, Moore Asian Fusion, for the wonderful hospitality and amazing meal. We'll definitely be back!

My friend's wanted to try this new place out. They went for the all you can eat hot pot. It's not cheap but it sure did not disappoint! You get to choose type of meats you want. These are thinly sliced meats (so they cook faster). From what I can remember, they offer Wagyu, Australian (I think it's a little more fatty), American, and lamb. There are categories and you can order 1-2 options from each category. Remember, this is all you can eat, so you can order something else later. You don't need to order everything at once. My friends ended up getting (from what I can remember): 1) seafood platter which contained lobster tail & oysters. 2) Abalone 3) Karage 4) Fried tofu 5) udon noodles I opted out of the all you can eat. I was debating on the Katsu or unagi. The waiter said that was a tough decision bc both were good. So I went with the Unagi fried rice. Let me say, it was SO good! I definitely will come back and get that again! Plus, I want to try the Katsu. The ambiance was great (not too quiet or loud) and service was great. I highly recommend this place!

If you come here for shabu shabu, you've got to try the Supreme AYCE which includes 3 types of wagyu (Japanese A5, Australian and American). You get to taste the difference between the 3 cuts of meats with American being more rough/tougher, Australian the good middle ground and the A5 being the most marbled, soft, melt in your melt. The A5 of course is a must try, but being expensive, if you want good quality meats without spending too much, you can do the Premium Australian Wagyu AYCE! The A5 is delicious but after 2 courses, you get filled up pretty quickly because of the fat content of the meat. This is the only shabu place I have been to that gives you a metal container so you can fish out the fat layer on top of the soup base caused by the A5. Sauces were plentiful, fresh meats, noodles. The presentation of the A5 was superb, unlike any Shabu place I have been to. Service was great, I will definitely be back if I'm craving A5 shabu shabu!

The quality of the ingredients is as good as you can get, and the broths were delicious. As someone who has lived in this neighborhood for many years, I can confidently say that Moore stands with the very best.

We stopped by after a video shoot in the area and thought hotpot would be perfect on such a cold day, but our usual spot wasn't open. We ordered the AYCE set with Japanese A5 Wagyu. Having lived in Japan and visited Korea many times, I've had my fair share of true Japanese wagyu and Korean hanwoo -- and what we were served here was nowhere close to A5. It arrived in a wooden box with dry ice for presentation, but the quality didn't match the label. Surprisingly, the Australian wagyu had better marbling and flavor than the so-called Japanese A5. The soups were just okay. We tried the tom yum and mala, but if you're looking for authentic flavor, you'll be disappointed -- both were very mild. Seafood was a mixed bag. The lobster, abalone, and mussels were good, but the oysters were bitter and foul, and the scallops were the cheap, rubbery kind. The unlimited sides were generally tasty. However, the kimchi was a letdown, and the karaage tasted more like Taiwanese popcorn chicken -- though to be fair, it was pretty good. Overall, the cheaper AYCE sets would probably be the better value given the actual quality of the premium items. I felt overcharged, and they wouldn't allow us to order a lower-tier set with a single A5 add-on. Since my boss doesn't eat much meat but I really wanted to try the Wagyu, it ended up being a waste for us. Service, however, was great. One major concern: the power cables for the induction burners are poorly placed. My boss tripped twice. With boiling soup on the table, that's an accident waiting to happen -- and potentially a lawsuit. I really hope they address that soon.

Phenomenal Shabu place that does not disappoint, even with AYCE! A group of us ordered the premium A5 Wagyu and holy moly!!!! Deliciousness!!!! Too notch quality and the presentation was next to none! You can tell this place cares about quality food and has an appreciation for the exquisite and discerning palate! I'd recommend you try the Australian first and enjoy that before you get blown away by the A5. It literally was "smooth as butter." I wish this place was in SoCal, but I will definitely be back. I am still dreaming of the amazing broth, the gorgeous and generous seafood, Wagyu....the amazing staff!

Had an amazing experience here for Chinese hot pot. The ingredients were genuinely high quality--fresh meats, crisp vegetables, and a broth that was rich and flavorful without being overwhelming. You can really taste the difference when a place doesn't cut corners. Service was just as impressive. Our server, Van, was fantastic--attentive, knowledgeable, and checked in at all the right moments without hovering. He explained the menu clearly, made great recommendations, and kept everything running smoothly, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. The restaurant itself was clean, lively, and perfect for both a casual dinner and a group night out. Everything came out quickly and at the right pace, so we never felt rushed or forgotten.

Wow another amazing and high quality of MEAT Japanese hot pot restaurant on Clement street opening NOW! When it comes to hot pot, soup base I don't care that much (no MSG in this place), but the meat quality is what I really care about. Other than the meat, the veggies that I ordered today, Moore Asian Fusion actually home made lots of their ow ln dishes such as appetizers, tapas, ice cream, sauce, and so on. This place not only invites people who like hot pot, but also welcomes people who like to just have some small bites. This was my first time, and I am sure i will be coming back with family and friends as often as possible in the future. By the way, people are very friendly and professional. I love their welcoming service.

Took my elderly parents for hot pot. They normally do not eat much so we ordered al a carte. My mom (an amazing cook and former restaurant owner) usually has something to say about almost every restaurant but she really enjoyed the food. Now that I know my parents enjoyed the food, we will definitely be back to try the ayce. The dining room is clean and modern with good ventilation. There is bar seating with 3 large screen tvs!!! We ordered: - Sesame toasts (4 pieces) - delicious and not too oily 5/5 - 2 seafood shabu: lobster tail, prawns, scallop, oysters, abalone, muscles.. Everything was fresh except for the oysters, a bitter after taste - maybe not too fresh. Delicious! (Since it was soft opening, I did not deduct a star) 5/5 - A5 wagyu -5/5 - lamb 4/5 Sauces: Ponzu, in house cilantro sauce (very clean tasting and yummy), peanut sauce (not loaded with sugar great balance and delicious! These include entrees include choice of carb (rice or ramen), mushroom and mixed veggies. They also comped an order of beef! Forgot to ask which cut it was but very tasty! - Complimentary ice cream sandwiches (fortune cookies with choice of mango or green tea in the center.) i was a little skeptical at first but they were pretty good. My preference is the mango ice cream sandwich. Waitstaff were amazing! Our waiter opened the door for my elderly parents when we were leaving. I was very touched. Thank you!

Me and friend came on a Wednesday night at around 6:30 pm. We use to come here for shabu when the restaurant was named Mokuku. It is now under new management and a brand new team. The setting and arrangement looks the same, but cleaner and have a more welcoming vibe. The two waiters that greeted us and helped us through the evening was very friendly and tentative. You get served a small assortment of side dishes and water shortly after you are seated. We live in the city, so we opt to the basic AYCE for our first time and return to try the higher selection, if it's good. You get a good selection of meat like American wagyu, lamb, pork belly, etc. As you go up to the premium levels of AYCE, they have Australian wagyu and A5 wagyu to choose from. We ordered the tomato and tonkatsu, it was very flavorful and clean. We started with the chicken karrage and sweet potato fries as appetizers. The size of the appetizers were quite big and very appealing, they came in these nice baskets with a side of sauce. The Vegetable platters were colorful and looked very fresh. If you don't want the whole platter, you can choose individual servings of vegetables like, napa cabbage, spinach, carrots, tofu, tong-ho, squash, etc. We finished everything we ordered. I really wanted to try all the other appetizers they have, but I'll probably save it for next time, when I come back to try their A5 wagyu. I recommend coming here with any friends and family, especially when you are hungry because everything is fresh and delicious. I even sipped two cup of soup before we left, and I was already stuffed!

I live pretty close to this fabulous restaurant and came in after my housemate raved about them and their wowzers of a happy hour menu. Every visit has been adorned with warm and attentive service and ridiculously delicious food. High quality ingredients, fantastic plating, huge servings, modern and comfortable ambience. Put your phone down and just go there. You will not be disappointed, I assure you.

Came in on a Friday evening as a party of 5. No line at all and was able to be seated right away. We ordered the Basic Waygu ayce. I enjoyed how there was no limit on how many meats, appetizers and sides we can order. Our favorites were the sukiyaki broth, chicken karaage, ribeye, American wagyu, potato salad and surprisingly the pork belly (wasn't tough or chewy). Katie and another male server (didn't get his name) were amazing. They both went above and beyond to take of our table. Both were super friendly and often came to check on us. 5/5 for their service.

Had an awesome time, ambiance was chill and can't say enough how great the food was, or how the service was even better! My experience, Chicken Karrage and Gyoza were awesome, as well as all the other appetizers. They didn't have chicken as a meat option on the menu. I preferred chicken over beef / pork. They however were super nice and hook me up with a plate of chicken along with a plate of beef! The two broth were yummy (miso / mala) and ourr waitress offered to swap out either of the broths if we didn't like it. Specifically the mala as the wife pretends she can handle spicy but not really... Wife did manage to figure out to cook with the miso and then add a bit of mala to her bowl to make her meal delicious. An how to begin to say how awesome the cilantro sauce was and all 3 options were super good. This place reminds me of an old school hot pot in a sense they hook you up on all the yummy food you want for ONE fix price. It's a dying concept in the city but I'm over getting nickel and dime for every lil thing on or off the menu! I have no issues drop $$$ if a restaurant food (which I do way too ofter but food is my vice) is good but at this point, Im waiting for restaurants to start charging for ice since none of them being that with your water anymore or charge you for napkins or the a service charge if you use their plates to eat... Anyway, my point is there are so many options on what you can order, that each visit can be a completely different experience if you want while the food still remains awesome. I don't drink anymore (sigh, wifey does tho) but they even offer an all you drink (drink responsibly/ride waymo) beer/sake option with your meal. Definitely our new Hot Pot spot and look forward to our next visit! Cheers

Tasty shabu shabu menu and really great staff. Simple, clean, bright decor. Very attentive. At the early evening hour when we were there on a Friday, it was a family friendly environment, too.

Date night on a friday night. Staff was extremely attentive. Explained the menu and offered a ton of suggestion and personal preferences and recommendations. Wife and I ordered tomato broth and mala. Through our dinner, we did not require a refill on broth and the flavors remained consistent. Now thats quality. Sides and appetizers were very delicious and also AYCE. Cucumber salad, gyoza, and karage were a hit. We had the basic meats selection and arguably best value since the waygu and lamb were already high quality. Sauces were on point too, I prefer just three basic sauces (ponzu, sesame, cilantro) with chili oil vs an extensive sauce bar #LostInTheSauce Overall, great experience, looking forward to coming back.

I highly recommend the top tier,all 3 type (Australian, American, and Japanese) of wagyu were really good quality and AYCE .The seafood platter was part of the package, it was very fresh as well. We picked sukiyaki, tum yam soup base. Both were super flavorful. I love to cook with sukiyaki and seafood with Tum yam.

This place used to be Mokuku, one of my favorite shabu shabu places in the Bay Area. It seems to under new management nowadays but the quality and service is great and I love their menu with a lot of different options and broths. The American Wagyu is great quality, it melts in your mouth and is delicious; the pork is something often not great at AYCE places, the pork here is great and worth a try. The service was great and they were very attentive. Would definitely recommend someone who wants to try a AYCE place with reasonable prices and good quality.

This place is amazing! We love the atmosphere here as it has a glass block board for each table so you feel to noisy when you are eating! We order their beef and wagyu all the time! Their egg roll and karrage appetizers are so delicious! Definitely recommended for a winter date or nice gathering!

We also opted for the unlimited drinking and the servers were on top of it, which we love. The owner was so lovely as well! We couldn't even eat the included ice cream because we were so full of all the delicious food. We will definitely be coming back on a regular basis.

Great spot that recently opened up shop! You can order AYCE, there are three options. Or order al la carte. I got the AYCE Supreme Japanese A5 Wagyu and it was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. This option comes w seafood! Love the unlimited apps + sides that come with AYCE meal. Next time I wanna eat inside the karaoke room upstairs!

I recently visited this delightful shabu-shabu spot, Moore Asian Fusion, and was blown away by the freshness and quality of the ingredients. We ordered the Supreme Japanese A5 Wagyu set, which includes Japanese, Australian, and American Wagyu, as well as a set of lobster and an abalone seafood platter. It also comes with unlimited side dishes and fortune cookie ice cream sandwiches. Since we had a bigger party, we had two pots and four different broths -- Sukiyaki, Tom Yum, Tonkotsu, and Spicy Miso. I loved every single one! My favorite combo was the Japanese Wagyu in the Sukiyaki broth and the seafood in the Tom Yum broth. Even though it's been a few days, I can still taste the deliciousness in my mind. The Tonkotsu and Spicy Miso were also super tasty, and most importantly, I didn't feel overly thirsty afterward like I sometimes do at other places. Their house-made sauces -- sesame, ponzu, and a signature green sauce -- were surprisingly delicious and took the shabu experience to another level. I was beyond full when they brought out the fortune cookie ice cream sandwiches. At first, I told them there was absolutely no room left in my stomach. But they encouraged me to take just one bite -- and I'm so glad I did! The crunchiness of the cookie paired with the rich, creamy ice cream was such a great match. I devoured the whole thing in seconds. The modern yet warm interior matched the warm, attentive staff and made the entire dining experience phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this place and can't wait to go back again!

We came here for a Friendsgiving celebration . Katie the waitress was friendly and attentive . The American Wagyu , Lamb , and vegetables were exquisite. The nigori sake was fowl . But the restaurant doesn't ferment that product so I'll order a different bottle next time . Can't wait to return . I was pleasantly surprised Shabu still at location after Makuku closed . Happy Hollidays !

My friends and I had a really great time here. Everything we had was delicious. The shrimp toast was very unique, the soup base was good, and the meats were sliced perfectly and were fresh. We left very full and we enjoyed it overall.

Just passed by and finally see Moore Asian Fusion soft opening. Feel like some beer along with appetizers. Good balanced of sweet potato fries with wasabi dressing. Didn't have chance to try hot pot yet cause only myself. I asked another diners.they told me very good quality wagyu beef. Definitely come back for AYCE shabu.

Had a great experience at Moore. Went in at around 5pm on a Sunday and had no wait time for four people. Staff was extremely nice! We chose the bar seating because it had individual hotpot's which was convenient since one of us had an allergy. Otherwise we would be sharing one hotpot which normally isn't a bad thing. Overall the portions were excellent and everything tasted flavorful and delicious. It's spacious inside and the bar had plenty of tv's if you wanted to watch sports. We will be back!

Really great AYCE hot pot/shabu spot for big groups. Service is excellent. The employees were super attentive and friendly. Overall, I'll be back! The chicken karaage, sweet potato fries, and gyoza were our favorite apps. The meats were good quality as well. & lots of drink options! Very fun environment.

We used to eat at this restaurant occasionally when it was Mokuku Shabu and were a bit surprised when we walked by and saw the new name, I assume due to an ownership change? But I am happy to report that the shabu is just as excellent as it was before! Friendly and attentive staff, great food, will definitely be coming back.

Had lunch with a couple of my friends and decided to try this place. It was their soft opening. Ordered A5, domestic wagyu, ribeye, kurobuta , lamb , pork belly , and some appetizers. All of the meat came out nicely presented and fresh. Broth has favor . The place is clean. A good selection of soju. Had a great time and really enjoyed the A5. The staff were attentive and welcoming . I would definitely come back with a bigger party to try all of the available meats and the seafood.

The food was very yummy and yet the service was also incredible. We had a wonderful evening.

Food was delicious, esp the rib eye and chicken karaage. It's a great deal. Service was excellent. I felt welcome and the restaurant had a great vibe overall. I can't wait to go back!

I love this place! Not only is the food delicious, the staff incredibly nice and attentive, the food is soooo good! I am obsessed with their sauces that are made in house and my kids are with the shrimp toast. The wagyu is fresh, thinly sliced and tasty. Not to mention that they have happy hour every day and the hotpot on this menu is the perfect amount of food for me and my two kiddos. Highly recommend.
