9 Best Things to Do in Anchorage, Alaska - AFAR

"Beloved by locals and perpetually busy, this pizzeria's extensive signature-pie menu includes the Mac N Cheese (topped with reindeer sausage, macaroni, four kinds of cheese, and garlic oil) and the over-the-top Amazing Apricot (blackened chicken, cream cheese, apricot sauce, vegetables, cilantro, and multiple cheeses); the drinks menu features about two dozen beers from its sister brewery, Broken Tooth." - Bailey Berg

Michaela took great care of us, and the pizza was fire! 🔥 🍕 Be sure and get a look at their dessert menu. Some pretty great choices there. Taps galore! If you’re a beer human, this is THE SPOT for you. I recommend getting here around 4:30-5:30 before the crowd really starts to build. Get your table, stay, and meet some fun folks on staff, and there to have a good time. 🍻

Google
One of those places that is totally worth the hype!! Great ambiance- cozy interior that doesn’t feel cramped even though it is bustling, huge fire pits outside to wait by making even the winter cozy. The wait was only 30 minutes even at 7pm on a Saturday during busy winter season. Easy to grab a quick, delicious local beer from the bar to enjoy on the patio while you wait to get buzzed for your table. Great food! Had the Diablo cheese sticks. Two kinds of cheese with a house made chipotle ranch dipping sauce. The pizza was gigantic and loaded with fresh toppings. Tons of good veggie options. We did a half and half with the veggie delight and wild mushroom pies. The Denali sauce on the mushroom pie was insanely good, bursting with flavor, and the veggie was perfectly loaded but to where everything still cooked really nicely. Great service! Our server and everyone we interacted with and saw was so warm and friendly, adding to the overall good vibes of this place. Happy to have bought a cool shirt to remember this unique spot by. Definitely has me wanting to check out the other locations, and we will when we are back in town.

Google
Super busy pizza spot, and for good reason! The beer and pizza is delicious. We got half of the special (Herakles) and half was brewhouse pizza. Both sides were packed full of toppings and cooked perfectly. The bread sticks were also amazing. We left perfectly satisfied.

Google
Dinner on a weeknight, seated after a very short wait. I had heard about Moose’s Tooth before even arriving in Alaska so I knew I had to try them! I was not disappointed! Ordered a pizza for the table to enjoy and it met expectations. The crust was perfectly cooked and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Our server was friendly and attentive. Already planning a return visit before departing Alaska! I highly recommend Moose’s Tooth!!

Google
Mine and my husbands first time coming here, the place was packed and we thought we'd have to wait, but we were seated immediately and got very fast service. The food was great. I highly recommend the Nashville nachos for an appetizer. Wait staff was very nice as well!

Google
Pizza was excellent, and their rotational cocktail (strawberry based during our visit) was a pleasant surprise. The Hungarian mushroom was also really good. We were a group of 16, and the staff managed to accommodate us within 10 minutes of waiting — very impressive service! Highly recommend for both food and hospitality.

Google
A very busy place! Was told it would be a 40 minute wait. Love that you can grab a drink and wait on the patio around the fire pit while you wait. The wait ended up only being 20 minutes. Our waitress was very friendly. Loved that they do 1/2 &1/2 pizzas. We tried the carnivore, the classic, call of the wild and chicken bacon ranch. The pizza crust is very good! The chicken bacon ranch was our least favorite. The root beer is crisp and delicious! Tried the pineapple upside cheesecake was disappointed that it lacked pineapple flavor. Overall would recommend and come back!

Google
Amazing!!! Recommended by 2 Uber drivers. Pizza is amazing. Love the creative flavor profiles and the classic pepperoni. The desserts were a delight. Rachel took care of us. Loved the whole experience. Yum! 10/10 recommend.

Yelp
My to go order has never been wrong. Fairly fast even when busy. Pleasant. Smiles. Personality All shared. Great bunch of employees. Great business.

Yelp
We were lucky during our visit to Moose's Tooth. Our wait for a table was a reasonable 30 minutes. With so many pizza choices it was hard decision to make. I ended up getting a small chipotle steak pizza. A small size was the perfect for me with a slice left over for a midnight snack. There are lots of flavors in my mouth with the chipotle sauce, zesty sour cream and lime. Service was ok given how busy they were.

Yelp
After hearing our hosts rave about this place, we were looking forward to trying it out. I understood a bit of a wait to get in as they were busy. When we were paged, we were first given the wrong seats inside and then were asked to get up and move to what appeared to be an overflow tent, as we walked by what appeared to be seating within the resturant. The tent was either too cold for those by the drafts or too warm for those sitting right next to the heater. At this point I was not in the mood to order a drink and just wanted to get our food. We ordered pizza, since that is what they are known for. We were a bit shocked that it took nearly an hour for our food to finally arrive. Before we had a chance to eat, they started to clear the tent, putting away chairs and even taking condiments off our table before our food arrived! I had to ask for them back. We felt forgotten about and when asked about our food it was nearly another 10 mins before it came. Then there was the wait for someone to bring boxes and our bill. The pizza was certainly not worth all the time it took to get it while being being made to feel like we were an inconvience. No, I would not go back or recommend it to others.

Yelp
The pizza is great I like it because it was not greasy the price is expensive on the small but hey it's Alaska that comes with a price tag the beer was great with a huge IPA selection I would Highly recommend

Yelp
The Moose's tooth has excellent. Fresh, hot, tasty, quality ingredients. Which is a good thing, because you certainly pay a price for it. It's Amchorage, so everything is expensive, but I've always left feeling that while I had a really nice meal, I didn't get a lot of value. They're known for their pizza, but their salads are excellent, and the cheesy bread sticks are a must try. The service isn't anything to get excited about. The servers are polite and friendly, but rather slow. There aren't a tremendous amount of choices in Midtown. You can do a lot worse than The Moose's Tooth.

Yelp
Our Chat GPT itinerary told us to stop here first thing when we landed in anchorage - and that we did!! He had the reindeer pizza and I had the apricot pizza - both were FANTASTIC! They had a great selection of beers and ciders and very friendly staff! Honestly some of the best pizza we have ever had. It in an unassuming area but the inside was packed and lovely! We will be back if we ever come back to Alaska! Highly recommend!

Yelp
This was my last day of a long business trip, and had a craving for pizza, this was the perfect place, it was a wait to get in but well worth it. Very vibrant and upbeat atmosphere with a mix of regulars and tourists, and perfect for large groups. The service was amazingly fast as busy as it was. The medium firehouse with bacon and jalapeños, chili flakes was great, but the all American was excellent peppers mushrooms red onions pepperoni just yum. Both had nice crispy crust with light pillowy edges. For pizza this is a must try when in Alaska

Yelp
Join us as we continue the Alaska tour in our final stop! This was recommended as a local favorite and the "flagship" location. We like breweries and I see why Moose's Tooth has handcrafted ales on tap! I ended up with their seasonal seltzer. We were extremely fortunate that they had two seats available at the bar on a busy Saturday night. So we squeezed in and the bartenders were very friendly! We ended up eating at the bar as well!

Yelp
We went here our first night in Anchorage. The place was extremely busy and our waitress was very swamped, so it did take awhile to place our order. I thought the pizza tasted great and it was enough that we took home for leftovers. It was a great place to go after being on a plane all day.

Yelp
I would skip this place if you don't want to try the reindeer sausage! I'm a pescatarian but ended up here because my friend wanted to give it a shot after our Anchorage local Uber driver recommended it. It was really hyped up, but if you're from a major city with a lot of pizza options I'm not sure it would be that different. Something out driver said is that they have really creative toppings, but the example he gave was artichoke hearts and he said "where else are you going to find something like artichoke hearts on pizza?" As someone who is from a major city, I've definitely have had artichoke hearts on pizza before. I was surprised they didn't have any seafood on the pizzas--I've seen shrimp and clams on pizzas before, so they still have some room to expand! The service here was great though and our server was very friendly. I didn't catch his name but I asked if he was from Alaska and he told me he was from Nome! The hostess also estimated a 40 minute wait for a table for us on a holiday for dinner (July 4th) when we got there around 6pm, which was pretty accurate. They have a nice patio and I didn't mind the wait at all. We got the salmon spread as an appetizer which was fine. The amount of salmon was generous. We got a medium size pizza half call of the wild and half forager. My friend enjoyed the call of the wild half and did feel like it was very Alaskan because of the reindeer sausage (though our Uber driver warned it probably was only a little bit reindeer and mostly filler). The forager pizza was fine--cheese and mushrooms, so nothing too special there.

Yelp
I saw this place all over social media before my trip and it def didn't disappoint!!! Our server Rachel was so sweet and patient with us since we were first timers. She gave amazing recommendations on food choices! We started with the sweet and spicy Korean sauce chicken wings and the wings were extra crispy which was perfect!! Then we shared a small pizza: half spicy Thai chicken which was super flavorful and topped with the Korean sauce was yummy, half Santa's little helper which reminded me of a meats lovers pizza. Both were really good!!

Yelp
Ehhh, underwhelmed would be word I'd use to describe our dinner. It wasn't necessarily bad, but it certainly wasn't amazing. In short, it came nowhere close to exceeding or even meeting my expectations based upon reviews and recommendations. This place is loud and crowded, with a big bar and a lot of noise that comes with a popular restaurant. There's a mix of tables and booths spread across several areas, plus what looks like a temporary tent in the parking lot. We arrived at 7:20 were told the wait was 50-60 minutes, but waited only around 35. There are two big patio areas for waiting guests, and it was nice to have someplace to sit. Four of us - we got a large margarita ($27) and a medium half-half of Solstice and Call of the Wild ($40). Pizzas took close to 50 minutes to arrive, not unexpected since our server told us the wait when we ordered. Warning bells with our first bites. The pizzas weren't really that hot, and that was really surprising. The Solstice just didn't have a ton of flavor at all; the Call of the Wild was better maybe because of garlic cream sauce. The margarita beat both of those but don't pick this if you're not in love with sliced tomatoes because it was entirely covered in them. I can't explain why the pies were mid, but I think it has a lot to do with the flavorless crust and the need for (IMO) some salt. Our server was busy with lots of tables. I needed to ask for a drink refill although my empty glass was sitting at the edge of the table when he stopped by twice. I know this place is loved and the crowds say it all, so I was surprised at how average the food and experience seemed.

Yelp
It was a busy Monday night, but I luckily found bar seating so didn't wait too long. Ordered the Polar Pale which, as someone who loves ales and Pilsners, was really good. Bar service was great: very quick, attentive to the throngs of people, and friendly. I ordered a small half and half pizza of the Apricot and the Napoleon. They burned it initially but compensated for it and made me a new one, and boy was it worth the wait. The dough tasted great and really made the pizza. The toppings and cheese were fresh and the ingredients all worked together well. I'll be dreaming about this pizza... overall highly recommend!
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
I concede that a future visit (unlikely) might give MT a star bump, given that many of their flavor/ingredient combinations seem good. But for now -- nope. It's obviously popular, and not bad -- but the pizza was fine, and that's it. The crust on one of ours was undercooked -- more like bread than a crunchy crust. Flavor combos were good, but light on toppings, and just not at a level I expected given their reputation. Service was good and efficient, given the crowds. I'd look elsewhere...

Yelp
As soon as we walked in the door we were met with cheer and friendliness. The hostess was fun to interact with. We were quickly seated (there is usually a wait) and our drinks were brought over. I ordered a blackened chicken mixed green salad. With an avalanche pizza. Over the years it has been my favorite and over the years it has remained delectable and bursting with flavor and magnificently melty cheese. Looking around the clean yet bustling restaurant you see all the posters over the years from their beer releases. This is a great place to take folks who have never been, and this visit was no exception.

Yelp
Let me start by saying I'm not exactly a Pig Fest Pizza devotee--but I do enjoy a slice now and then. After hearing plenty of buzz about this spot, I figured it was time to see what all the fuss was about. It's clearly a local favorite--crowds packed both the indoor and outdoor waiting areas when I arrived. The outdoor space had a cozy vibe, with fire pits flickering in the center and a cute little bench with variety of stickers plastered all over it, maybe from travelers or locals, unsure. Definitely Instagram-worthy--if only I could've snagged a shot without dodging a gaggle of kids jumping all over it with soggy shoes. Not worth sacrificing clean jeans for. Our wait was about 35 minutes, which didn't feel too long, especially since we were free to grab a drink from the bar and enjoy it outside--a popular move, judging by the crowd. Service was solid, though nothing particularly memorable. With how packed it was, I wasn't expecting white-glove treatment anyway. Seating is scattered throughout, including a small bar area that offers a solid selection of local brews, wines, rosés, and even hard seltzers for the non-beer crowd. Now, onto the food. I started with the smoked salmon dip, which was unexpectedly tasty--creamy and well-seasoned. My only gripe? Not nearly enough bread to scoop it up with, leaving me with leftover dip and nothing to pair it with. Still, it was pretty filling, which didn't help when my pizza arrived (also worth noting: I was jet-lagged, so my appetite wasn't at full strength). Torn between the mushroom soup--which I'd seen glowing reviews of--and a small "Elf on the Shelf" pizza, I ended up going the pizza route. It came topped with pineapple, reindeer pepperoni (yes, really), and mozzarella on a thin crust. It was good, just not mind-blowing. In hindsight, I kind of wish I'd gone for the soup. If I could give it a 3.5 out of 5, I would. I'd recommend this spot to true pizza enthusiasts or anyone looking for a fun place to grab a bite with friends--especially if you're passing through Alaska and want something a little off the beaten pizza path. Grab a slice, sip a local brew, and soak in the quirky charm.

Yelp
Loved this place so much I've been three times in two visits to Alaska! The jalapeño business was delicious - highly recommended. I also tried another pizza or two with friends and the combos weren't quite as enticing, but the ambiance is warm, and I enjoyed the raspberry wheat beer. Definitely worth a trip!

Yelp
google avatar

Yelp
The Santa's Little Helper pizza was delicious! We also had an appetizer, but the star of the show was definitely the pizza!
google avatar

Lauren M.

Yelp
This place is soooooo packed and the pizza tales 45min to be ready. Like chicago deep dish timing. Service was generic. Host didnt offer to give my 3 year old crayons so we sat for 35mins to get his pizza. It was super hot in the corner where they sat us. The ambiance is what you'd expect. Great place to drink beers! Great beer as well! The pizza is just generic. Other than the place being packed and it being hyped up, I guess ill say Im glad I can tell people in the future that they're not missing out on pizza esp for 45min wait for a pizza or a table on 6pm Wed night. Had the jalapeño business and elf on the shelf. Both were OK, crust is generic and domino's pizza crust taste better imo. Sauce is generic as well. They do well in coming up with combination pizzas.
google avatar

Sharon O.

Yelp
Always a long wait and busy but for good reason! Love the vibes in the restaurant; very family friendly. The pizzas are always fun and delicious. Cheeseburger pizza was surprisingly really good! Cesar salad was also great.
google avatar

Gee R.

Yelp
Good pizza after a long day of travel! Moose's tooth is conveniently located right by the airport and they are open late! We got seated before the anticipated 45 min wait time and ordered food right away because we were hungry after traveling. We got a salad, wings, soup and pizza. We also got home made root beer and another delicious canned drink. Overall food came out hot and quickly. I'd say the pizza was the start of the show because the soup and wings were lack luster. With pizza it's nice because you can do half of one kind and half of another. And that helps with indecisive people like me. Overall a high 3/5 because it did the trick after traveling.
google avatar

Natasha K.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! My go to when vacationing in Alaska! James, our waiter was phenomenal and thanks to him I also left with a wonderful recommendation and to follow AK tattoo! Good was amazing, timing perfect and outstanding beer selection!
google avatar

Heather G.

Yelp
This is by far the best place to get pizza in Anchorage. It's very consistent and lots to choose from. The small pizza easily feeds 2 people. They can do made to order pizzas as well. Mon-Friday they have lunch specials.
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
Our mac n cheese pizza was tasty and the brownie dessert was too! Parking is crazy so be prepared for that as well as a wait. Service was lovely. Cool place, a bit noisy. Definitely worth the hype. Felt like the value was good for what we got.
google avatar

Marie S.

Yelp
Some of the best pizza I've ever had! So worth it. When I showed up on a Sunday night, I had no idea it would be this busy (parking lot completely packed and a half hour wait to sit down). So, I opted to do the carry out option, which was a half hour wait also, but you also got your pizza in that amount of time. It was actually a little quicker than half hour. I got the small half call of the wild (reindeer sausage, mushroom, steak bell peppers) and the half mac and cheese (with delicious mac and cheese and reindeer sausage). Expensive pizza trip (since I had to take an Uber to get there), but the small is more than enough pizza for one person. 2025 #4

Yelp
We were surprised at how busy it was on a Wednesday evening! But we were actually seated before the estimated wait time of 30 minutes, so that was nice. We sat by the fire outside while we waited. We had a root beer, which was yummy. We split the Forager and Chipotle chicken (did a medium half and half) with the thick crust. It was very yummy! I liked the crust a lot. They use a mix of provolone and mozzarella which is similar to my favorite pizza place back in New Mexico. I did NOT like their ranch dressing. I like to dip my pizza crust in ranch, but this tasted like tartar sauce. Very weird and it was not my taste. Otherwise we would be back for pizza when we're in town.

Yelp
Was in Anchorage on business last week, when a colleague mentioned pizza for dinner. Knowing that I was from Chicago (the only place for pizza) this individual told me that if I didn't like it he would pay! Challenge accepted!!! We arrived at Moose's Tooth at approximately 4:30ish and it was already getting crowded. We ordered a salmon spread for an appetizer and it was delicious. For dinner we ordered a large all American and let's just say I ended up paying for dinner
google avatar

Yelp
Are at the bar last time, small Aloha Escape and several Darth Deliriums. Ended up having coffee and mud pie. Pizza was fantastic! Wonderful smoked ham and crisp cold pineapple. Sauce was tangy and crust was perfectly cooked. Beers were served filled to the rim of the glass. Coffee was fresh and hot, with plenty of cream. Service was attentive, frequent check ins. So good, I returned!
google avatar

Sherlyn M.

Yelp
Creative pizza combos and solid crust options! Visited Moose's Tooth and totally get why it's a local favorite. The vibe was lively, the service was quick, and the menu is packed with unique pizza creations and tons of crust choices--thin or thick, small to large, and even vegan whole wheat or cauliflower options. We got a 14-inch medium, regular crust--perfectly baked with a nice balance between chewy and crisp. We did a half-and-half: Spicy Thai Chicken - This one was a bit out there for me. It really does taste like Pad Thai... on a pizza. Think peanut sauce base with raw carrots and bean sprouts on top. Definitely a bold, unique combo--maybe an acquired taste. Santa's Little Helper - This was more my style. A meat-lover's dream with pepperoni, bacon, sausage, and ham. Flavor-packed, indulgent, and super satisfying. Overall, it's a fun spot with something for everyone--whether you're into experimental flavors or classic comfort. I'd go back, but next time I'm sticking to the more traditional, hearty combos.

Yelp
When we got here, it was packed! After tasting the food, I can see why. We put our name on the list, but kept an eye on the bar as well. Two seats opening up at the bar so we took those. We each tried a beer which were good. The pizza on the special menu was the Bangkok pizza which sounded h treating. I like that you can do 1/2 and 1/2 of any pizza here, not everywhere will do that. Both types were so good! The Bangkok was delicious and surprisingly it all went together well on a pizza. The pepperoni was wonderful as well. The moose pie was good but we didn't expect it to be primarily made of ice cream so it was not quite what we expected. If in the area again, I would return!

Yelp
Took a short trip to Alaska and when I searched for pizza, Moose's Tooth was always front and center so I decided to give it a try! My friend chose the medium pepperoni and I chose a Medium half Lu-Wow and half Avalanche (minus the onion) along with a Pribilof Pounder beer on tap. The pizza had a wonderful bake! The dough was perfect! Sauce had a good flavor. Service was quick even though it was a full house. Would recommend if you're in the area.

Yelp
Here, you will find the pizza of your dreams. Especially if you are gluten-free like me, one of the best I have EVER had. Menu pro tips: 1. Mon - Fri there is a lunch menu with a slice and salad. It is on the white paper menu's at the hostess or visitor center, not on the menes at tables. 2. There is no list of ingredients menu. Yo need to read all the different pizzas to see what is offered. 3. There is a gluten-free menu. Just ask for it. Parking Pro tip: parking is tough. We didn't know when you pulled in via gps & go to the left towards the white enclosed type tent. To the right is to go orders only. Do not park in Kinley's lot. If you go right, there is parking along the back of the building. Other tip if you end up going into the take-out area. Go across the restaurant to under the red neon writing by the double doors to the hostess stand. I got A GF pizza with chicken and Gyro. Somwhere on that slice is cheese. My parents got calzones and my partner got the slice of the day. Everyone was loving there food. I tried to go back but we just didn't have time. I am a traditional pizza sauce girl and I got a side of the house sauce. I 100% recommend that house sauce, it was amazing! I cannot wait to go back.

Yelp
Long wait. Was pretty good. Service was okay, but cold. Meaning he was all about business, but offered no smile or personality. Food was hot and tasted fresh. Thought the breadsticks were good, not great. Caesar salad had shaved chicken, 1st time I've experienced that. Would dine here again, just expectations are now lower.

Yelp
We heard Anchorage really likes their pizza so decided to check in Yelp where to go. This place popped up at the top so we decided to check it out. There is plenty of parking, but they are very popular. We waited about 1/2 an hour but it was totally worth it. The smoke salmon spread was delicious! We didn't order extra bread but you may want to. We didn't decide to add the capers to it for a $1. We are glad we went with this vs cheese sticks since you can find that anywhere. For the pizza, we decided to try the buffalo pizza and the call of the wild. They were both really good, but the buffalo was a bit more spicy than I expected. We went with the original crust which was on the thinner side. The service was great. Our waitress was patient while we took our time with the menu. She kindly let us know that we could do 2 flavours with 1/2 and 1/2. That was a great suggestion! I would highly recommend this place for friends, family or any type of occasion.

Yelp
Busy even on a Tuesday at 3:00pm. Pizza and cheese bread was outstanding. Our waitress was on it. They also let you split specialty pizzas in half. Fantastic! Will be back.

Yelp
This place is always good. We went here, as I was traveling with a coworker who never been to Alaska. I told him this was the place we needed to go, which he told me someone else told him the same thing. We did not order any of their beer, which would've been good, but we did have their classic pizza. The pizza was perfect, thickness of the crust, sauce, toppings, etc. I did have a Caesar salad with my pizza, which was very good. For lunchtime, this place was buzzing, it was packed and lots of conversations going on with really good ambience. Our server, was great, he was very attentive, and not pushy to order drinks or anything such as that. Wish I could recall his name, (Marvin A) as I would put it down here. He was wearing a LA Dodgers hat, and my coworker appreciated that. For what that's worth.

Yelp
We ordered the All American Large pizza and a small cheese pizza for kiddos! My favorite was the Diablo breadsticks! We were traveling through Anchorage for the weekend and were told to stop here, they said it was always busy but worth the wait! Luckily we were told a longer time (80 min) but got a table only after 20 minutes! For dessert, I had the mixed cobbler with ice cream which was amazing!

Yelp
Moose's tooth is really good pizza! I also love their rootbeer. Some pizza favorites are: Mac and Cheese, backpacker, amazing apricot, and pickle rick. They also have rotating specials monthly. (Pro tip: just ask if you can get a certain pizza that they've had in the past, you never know what will happen!) They are usually crazy busy for sit down, but in the winter on a weekday we seem to have luck. The prices have gotten a bit expensive though! I almost can't justify getting pizza to go anymore if it's more than one pie. Most pizzas are around 25-30$ for a medium. A large is around 35! Their delicious Korean wings have also gone up almost half as much as they were, $17 now but I think they may have upped the portion, not sure how many you got last time, like 8 wings maybe and now it is 1lb per portion. It almost feels silly complaining about price. Granted they have decent drinks and desserts, and pizzas you can't get anywhere else. I used to love their mozzarella breadsticks but I can't seem to eat them anymore :(. Their ranch is still the best.

Yelp
Worth every minute (or hour) of the wait! They offer a large selection of beers for you to enjoy out in their "beer garden" during that time. Appetizers came promptly. We got the Denali cobb, herb-y and flavorful hungarian mushroom soup, and savory and creamy smoked salmon spread to start. There definitely wasn't enough bread and extra bread does indeed cost extra, but our server recommended pairing the spread with pizza crust (for those of you who never eat it :)). We took the leftovers home to eat with our own bread and it was delicious. Pizzas took a little longer since they are quite busy. You're able to order the pizzas half-and-half, which let us try a lot more variety. Highlight was the amazing apricot: savory, sweet, creamy. Thin crust wasn't floppy either! Ended the meal with a cobbler which was fresh and hot from the oven. Inside was filled with fresh fruit, and it was not too sweet. If we are in Anchorage again, I will definitely be back. Maybe order takeout instead though to avoid the wait.

Yelp
I've been here 3 times and it seems to get better each time as I live 4980 miles away! All 3 times the service was on point. Chicken wings for an appetizer we shared. Mom got a salad after that and of course I had to get pizza. Never had a bad pizza here and there are so many choices. The ambience of this restaurant is warm and friendly. The staff are all friendly as well! My review is simple, yet is worth the experience !!!

Yelp
What a great vibe! Really good pizza, with a crust more like garlic bread than actual dough. It was flaky and buttery and very good! We got a large (and it was. LARGE) and split it in half, half "Solstice" half "Call of the Wild." I really just wanted to try reindeer sausage. I loved the call of the wild, loads of meat with a really creamy sauce. Their cream soda was worth a try too. Get a large and take some home - youll thank yourself later!

Yelp
June 2024 - dinner service for 8 Parking was relatively easy to find Read and heard about this place from TripAdvisor and the locals The beer menu was long and we wish we could have em'all The pizza was huge and tasty Our server was patient, knowledgeable and took good care of our large group There is never enough time to enjoy all the good food this restaurant has to offer We will be back !

Yelp
I'll admit it. I was skeptical of the pizza special: The Autumn Heat. Spicy chili crunch oil? Roasted squash? Dried cherries?? That combo sounded more like a dare than dinner. But wow, was I wrong. This pizza is crazy good. The heat from the chili oil hits just right, the squash adds a sweet, earthy depth, and those cherries? Unexpected bursts of tangy magic. All tied together with melty cheese that makes it feel indulgent and comforting at the same time Whoever dreamed this up deserves a raise. Please, I'm begging--put Autumn Heat on the regular menu. It's bold, it's weird, it's delicious. I'm hooked.

Yelp
Pizza was excellent, and their rotational cocktail (strawberry based during our visit) was a pleasant surprise. The Hungarian mushroom was also really good. We were a group of 16, and the staff managed to accommodate us within 10 minutes of waiting -- very impressive service! Highly recommend for both food and hospitality.

Yelp
So far the BEST pizza place we've found in the city. Each time we go to Alaska, we go at least twice. The restaurant has a fun vibe to it but the pizza is taken very seriously. The staff are helpful in picking out good options if you don't know what you might want to try. Just tell them what you like and don't like and they'll be glad to help. The pricing is affordable for Anchorage and we tend to leave with leftovers on a a single pizza eaten by two people. Originally recommended to us by my uncle who is a local, we don't even bother with other places anymore! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Amazing per usual. There is a reason why this place is always busy. It's been a bit since I have eaten here but this trip to AK I could not miss eating here again. My server was amazing with great recommendations and friendly amd attentive service I got the moose Ranch salad and half and half of pizza the all American and the brewhouse favorite. Are you kidding me with the pizza? Both flavors were fantastic and oddly very different. Recommend both. Always great vibes with a clean establishment and pizza that is worth the wait.

Yelp
'Ello chaps, Ask any local or former Anchorage tourist for food recommendations and no doubt Moose's Tooth will be one of two restaurants recommended. This is for good reason. DAMN is the pizza good. The smallest pizza is 10" and plenty for two people, so order a few for a group. They have a great variety of pizzas (and lots of options for vegetarians). This pizza goes far beyond the slices of cheese and pepperoni. The crust is crispy yet fluffy, and the atmosphere is great. There's a reason this place is highly recommended. Overall I give Moose's Tooth the rare 5 stars out of 5.

Yelp
The BEST pizza I've ever had! I've been coming here since they opened, no idea why I didn't write a review sooner! Super cool vibe with a perfectly rustic Alaskan interior. Love the fire pits outside. The service is amazing; the breadsticks were browned more than I like, and they were happy to remake them. The breadstick sauce is delicious with a small spicy "kick". Salads are sooo good. LOVE all of their locations!!
