Mooyah is a new restaurant located in Northwest Las Vegas, off of the Durango/N95 that focuses on burgers, fries, and shakes. It's located in the shopping plaza next to a few other businesses such as Port of Subs and Smiths. There is ample amount of parking available.
My partner and I stopped by Mooyah for dinner on a Thursday evening. There was only a few other customers inside Mooyah at the time. There is spacious amount of table seating available. The restaurant was clean and the inventory was well stocked!
Mooyah has a set menu and a secret menu as well! There was only one team member at the register, so we ended up waiting about 10 minutes before our order was taken. If you're eating inside the restaurant, you're provided a number after your order is completed.
Our order:
The Hamburdog: Fresh, Never-Frozen Certified Angus Beef® topped with a Hebrew National® All-Beef Hot Dog, Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Fried Onion Strings, Ketchup, Non-GMO Potato Bun
The Indulgent BBQ: 2 Fresh, Never-Frozen Certified Angus Beef® Patties, Pepper Jack Cheese, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Fried Onion Strings, BBQ Sauce, Real Mayo, Non-GMO Potato Bun
An order of French Fries and Green Chile Queso.
The wait was quite lengthy. We didn't receive our burgers for 30 minutes. The Indulgent BBQ burger was provided first, and then the Hamburdog came out shortly after. The team member accidently dropped the meal on the table and the hamburger bun, including all of the fried onion rings were thrown on the table. She brought the order back, for one minute, however, they did not re-cook it, nor did they add in additional fried onion rings to the hamburger.
My partner thought the Indulgent BBQ burger was okay, but that the patty was overcooked and just to small for the burger bun. The French Fries had too much salt on it and was quite crispy as well. The Green Chile Queso was awesome though!
Overall, it was a decent experience at Mooyah, but it is quite expensive, approximately $40.00 for just two burgers and French fries. Next time, I'll have to try out their shakes!
