Morelia Ice Cream Paletas - Upper East Side

I wouldn't call it the best ice cream ever, but it's worth a try. Probably would be better in the summer, as they don't really have a lot of space inside to sit and enjoy your ice cream in the winter. There are a lot of flavors to choose from, plus different toppings. The ice cream is on the watery side, and since it's in bars, there is some crystallization in the bars. If you understand how ice cream is made, you would understand why . Also, 1 bar with 1 topping is $8+, keep that in mind.

Definitely get the Bananas 🍌 Ice Cream Popsicle with Nutella 🌰 inside dipped in White ⚪ Chocolate and topped with Almonds! Service is quick ⏲️ and staff 👨‍🍳 is friendly! They don't have lots of indoor seating 🪑 so prepare to take your order to go. 🥡 I wish I came here more often!

Best Ice Cream Experience in NYC & worth every bite! This place makes Mexican frozen treat bigger than normal ice pops, hand-made, artisa and made with 100% natural ingredients. The combinstions are endless! 🤩 My go to creations: 1. Lime Paleta dipped in cookie butter topped with crushed grahamn cracker 2. Coconut Paleta dipped in white chocolate topped with toasted coconut & rainbow sprinkles 3. Banana Stuffed Nutella Paleta dipped in chocolate topped wiith toaste marshmellow fluff, topped chocolate drizzle & crushed graham crackers 4. Sicilian Pistachio dipped in chocolate topped with crushed pistachios & pistachio drizzle

They make it hard to choose. The fruit flavors are all fresh and beautiful. But then they have several chocolate choices, and then pistacho and vanilla and banana paletas. They have filled bars. You can wrap them in waffle cones. And then you can dip them in white, dark, milk or something else I forget. And then there are toppings. Many gluten free and dairy free options. Infinite amount of combinations. Lovely design. We had a lot of fun going as a family. You almost need to go daily to try all the options. If they were closer to my house, I would live here. 😂

Such a delicious treat with so many options! I like that they have creamy, fruity, and filled options on top of all the other choices. You can truly satisfy any sweet tooth craving. A gem!

Delicious!! We tried the chocolate, dulce de leche, and Greek yogurt with berries. The Greek yogurt is such a nice treat that's not too sweet. The waffle cup is made to order and SO delicious!!

I had the Chocolate Hazelnut Cookie & Cream sorbet; it was delicious!! I dipped it in dark chocolate, the combo was wonderful. I really recommend the place; they offer a great variety of different flavours.

Morelia is an amazing addition to the neighborhood!! I had the coconut bar dipped in dark chocolate and rolled in almonds and it was insane, highly recommend that combo. Will definitely be back to try more!

Definitely a cute idea! Wish they had more seating, but the flavors and options are great! I tried the coconut with dark chocolate and no toppings. Personally, it tasted like faker, toasted coconut but was still good. My sister got the passion fruit dipped in chocolate and that was the way to go. So refreshing and light. Definitely fun if you're in the mood to go for it with the dips and toppings. I wish they had seating but it's a bit awkward with just one bench to sit on and I don't think I saw prices anywhere until I rang up. For 2 pops with only dark chocolate it was $20 including tip, which felt like a bit much. I didn't realize the dark chocolate was extra or I probably would have just skipped it since it wasn't a great match but oh well. Lesson learned!

Morelia is such a great addition to the UES! I first had Morelia in Charlotte NC a couple of years ago and fell in love with it! They have an amazing selection of flavors as anyone will find many options to choose from and customizable to your like with toppings! I think it's fairly priced and can be so refreshing. Staff is absolutely wonderful and couldn't have been better! Come try this place out you won't be disappointed!

Delish delish delish. You can literally do any combination you want and it's just amazing. Paletas are on a thicker size which i love. Add ons is a must. Came by on a windy day and was well worth it. Service was great, young lady was super helpful and had so many suggestions.

I came back to try the strawberry cheesecake and it was so good. The flavors were immaculate and I would get this again. I love how creamy the texture is. Great dessert.

I'm glad that there's a paletas place! I enjoyed what I ordered but it was pricey! For 2, it was around $20. I wanted to sit inside, but the window nook seating was dirty.

I've had plenty of paletas back when I lived in LA but nothing as customizable as Morelia! As a franchise with Floridian origins, they pride themselves on their handcrafted Mexican paletas with natural ingredients. Amongst a wide range of flavors from creamy to fruity, they have non-diary and vegan options as well. I really appreciate how they list out all their possible allergens. You basically pick a flavor and can add dips, toppings, etc. At first, I was a little overwhelmed with all the options and the combinations, but I eventually got the pistachio with double dark chocolate dip with additional crushed pistachio bits on top. 100% would recommend this combo! The ice cream part was really creamy and had a perf savory-sweet flavor for pistachio lovers. The chocolate dip was indeed dark so it wasn't too sweet and the layer wasn't too thick. The nut toppings were crunchy! I also got the try the vegan chocolate hazelnut cookies and cream with additional chocolate hazelnut dip and almonds. The ice cream part wasn't as creamy but still had strong hazelnut flavors. The dip was a little too sweet for me but the nuts were crunchy! The store itself was clean and bright. Staff were very friendly and helpful in explaining the options. There are some limited seating options inside. I only wish there were more classic Mexican paleta topping options like tajin and chamoy for the fruity flavors. Either way, I'm excited to come back to try different flavors and combos!

Best paletas I ever had!!! I tried the passion fruit( sweet and sour) dulce de leche( sweet and creamy)

So many great flavors, including a huge assortment of sorbets for the lactose intolerant. The Paletas start at $6.99 and then you can add 4 different dipping sauces ($1extra) and and an assortment of toppings (for $1.50). The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I got the strawberry cheesecake with white chocolate and graham cracker topping and it was delicious!

Really delicious dessert shop on the UES! Sooo much fun choosing your flavor, dip and topping! Such a cool concept! Will definitely be back!

The paletas here are so good. Love this concept, love the flavors, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I wish it was a little less expensive so I could go more but it's still on par with the dessert places in the area.

Highly highly recommend Morelia for the amazing paletas!! They have so many mouth watering flavors and toppings to choose from. My favorites are the Oreo and Greek Yogurt. The staff is super friendly and make great recommendations for flavors. This place has become a frequent spot for us and a "special treat" for my son!

$9 for a paleta is very ridiculous, and it was fine, and they didn't even have great flavors. I got passion fruit with spicy sugar. Felt very gentrified.
