My wife and I have been coming here for years, and it's our favorite ice cream spot in ATL. Great flavors and amazing service. I hired the Morelli's team for a sundae bar catered event and was super impressed with the service. Clarissa (the owner) was quick to respond and flexible with arrangements, and on the day of Amor and Mariah showed up at the event early to set up, were excellent servers, and were fantastic to work with. They even wore a goofy personalized apron I had for the event and were all-in on setting the right vibe. Will be using them for my next event and you should too!

The staff was friendly and helpful. They offer a variety of flavors, and the portions were sufficient.

Excellent Atlanta homemade ice cream in various flavors. The pistachio was very good. They make the whipped cream on location, most places use canned whipped cream. Theirs has great flavor.

I tried the bubble gum ice cream here and it was hands down the best I’ve had in Atlanta so far. So good!!

Welcomed and provided customer focused service. Patiently explained how the special sundaes were made and engaged us in conversation regarding the music playing. Sundae tasted great and that with the good service and the overhead Choo Choo Train 🚂 made for an enjoyable experience.

They have a good selection of ice creams. Great thing about them is that they keep rotating the flavors. Its good to try out new flavors everytime.

By far the best tasting ice cream in Atlanta. Morelli's has plenty of delicious flavors to pick from and they all taste homemade. The ice cream shop itself has a very cute ice-cream-like vibe that makes you feel very welcomed. Definitely my number one pick for a sweet treat.

Good ice cream. Beware of ordering through delivery apps. I have received the wrong ice cream twice. The second time I called, they offered no solution and told me they couldn't do anything and reach out to uber instead... as if it were Ubers mistake. I just wanted to replace the ice cream smh.

Solid icecream, great homemade waffle cone. The staff was super friendly. Only complaint is the lack of outdoor seating!

The ice cream here is solid but beware if you go later in the night, they likely will have a bunch of flavors sold out and there's always a super long wait so that's kind of annoying as well.

Quaint neighborhood ice cream shop with standard flavors. I tried the salted caramel, and it has a very deep, rich flavor. If I remember right, they make their own caramel in-house and use it in the ice cream. You can tell. It was scrumptious. It had a nice texture also, not grainy or crystallized. Also loved the ATL mural inside! Nice addition, especially for us out-of-towners.

Came here since we had dinner in the area. My son had leftover ice cream back at our rental, he had to finish before heading home next day. So him and my hubs stayed in the car. Of course the one place I go into alone has an awesome train going around! My son would've loved it. Ice cream was pretty good, service was good, place was really cute.

Good but not amazing ice cream. I was excited because of all the good reviews and I always try to visit the top rated ice cream and gelato places. This one was a bit of a letdown. First, they didn't have any sorbets, I see in some pictures some refreshing strawberry and strawberry lemonade sorbets but all they had were a few non-dairy ice cream flavors (coconut pineapple and butter pecan) probably made with coconut and/or oat milk, not true sorbets. I got peach and salted caramel. Peach was alright but not particularly creamy and the peach inside was pretty icy. Salted caramel was much better, very sweet but good, probably a 4 out of 5. Service was fine. Overall there weren't many flavors, peach and salted caramel were the only two that were even appealing to me, and it was decent at best. I probably wouldn't bother going back as there is surely better ice cream out there.

Delicious ice cream. It was very refreshing and the flavors tasted fresh. Very much enjoyed the location and the options.

Great ice cream and they give you a lot in the small size (although it can be a little bit different depending on who is scooping).They have daily flavors and other staple flavors. It is a good mix of go-to flavors and of unique flavors (blueberry cheesecake anyone?). They have a cool train for kids to hit a button to go around the place near the ceiling. Pro tip: eat outside on a bench on a nice day! The size of all of the ice creams in my two pictures are small for reference!

I've been here a couple of times and the icecream always hits. I like that they have some non-dairy flavors as well since I avoid dairy on most days. There may be a long line but it moves fast!

Hands down my favorite ice cream in Atlanta! Beats out Jeni's any day. I absolutely love the texture of their flavors, as it reminds me of gelato. I've had their rosemary olive oil, blueberry rosewater, and oatmeal crème pie. Life changing!!! Hope these flavors stay in constant rotation.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was not very crowded at all. My kids were glad to hear they were doing samples. All the flavors are visible in the glass display case and they did not have any mint chocolate chip. They did, however, have a peppermint, which was just as satisfying. I also had some of the Mocha almond fudge, which was really good as well. I love that you can get any size scoop inside of a waffle cone or bowl, which is great if you don't want that much ice cream, but still enjoy the crunchy waffle. Also, if you get a small, you can get two different flavors as it is two scoops and a good value. There is a small parking lot out front and some indoor tables, but we walked up and took ours to-go. The staff here is super friendly.

Every time I read a list of Atlanta's best ice creams, Morelli's always shows up somewhere on there, so I'd been long anticipating a chance to try it. I visited their Chattahoochee Food Works location a few months ago and the flavors I got that night made an impression (brownie and salted caramel)--very bold for sure. The brownie was rich, and the salty caramel was maybe just a bit tooo salty for my taste personally. The last time I was in the Va-Hi area, they were still in the process of readying this location, but today I was able to get my fix! I got a small scoop ($4.50 before tax and tip) of the cake batter Oreo. You can get up to 2 flavors but when I sampled the cake batter Oreo, I was like "yup, this is The One™." It tastes just like the name--birthday cake ice cream with Oreos mixed in. It's like a delightful marriage of birthday cake and cookies and cream, and it was soooo creamy. And honestly, the ice cream flavor is kinda reminiscent of Indian butterscotch (if you know, you know). The only thing I will say is that this ice cream was sweet. Like, HELLA sweet. If you're into that, then great, but if you don't like your ice cream to be overly sweet, I'd suggest you get it elsewhere. If you know me, you know I'm a Jeni's fiend, but I think I've found my go-to when I want something else local. As long as they have this flavor, I will be hitting them up again :)

I got to try this spot out for the first time & I must say it's delicious. You can never have to many ice cream shops. It's amazing how different each brand does their ice cream. I have the cotton candy ice cream with a chocolate dipped waffle cone a try & I must say it was delicious. I also picked up a slice of that soft & moist poundcake. Whoa . It was perfect Plus you'll enjoy the artwork on the interior of the restaurant.

I tried the key lime coconut and a vegan walnut flavor. The key lime coconut was more creamy, but both were good. My ice cream melted really fast though :( Service was alright, but I was happy they were able to give out samples before I decided on a flavor. It's very spacious inside, so there's plenty of seating. I like supporting small businesses, and Morelli's is family-owned! Just wish they had a gluten-free cone.

Visited this amazing ice cream Place while visiting in the Highlands in Atlanta. Super creamy ice cream. I had a waffle cone dipped in chocolate with size small 1/2 salted caramel and 1/2 strawberry shortcake. .plenty!

The vegan milkshakes are absolutely delicious. I just wish they had more than 3 vegan options a day, or had some of my favorites available every day! (The mint chocolate chip and peanut butter chocolate are awesome!)

Morelli's is a cute and much-needed ice cream shop located in the heart of VaHi, featuring creative and innovative homemade flavors. We visited on a recent Saturday morning and were really pleased by the variety and quality of their hand-dipped scoops. I went for a cup of their pistachio and vanilla, which were subtly sweet but delicious, and she went for the decadent cookie dough and salted caramel in a delicious, sturdy waffle cone. I also sampled their rosemary and olive oil flavor, which the friendly and efficient clerk happily provided, and it was extremely interesting and delicious enough for me to consider ordering on a repeat business. We are so glad to have Morelli's in the neighborhood, and will be back soon.

Rude as hell. They don't have half of the things on their menu at this location and they don't even have strawberry ice cream. Furthermore the young man that "helped" me was rude as hell and should definitely not work at an ice cream store. Waste of time. I left without buying anything.

Morelli's is known for it's salted caramel ice cream and BOY is that reputation well deserved!! All of the ice cream at Morelli's is delicious--the texture is spot on (creamy, not icey) and they have a fun rotation of interesting flavors. I usually try a few of the rotating flavors that catch my eye (and the staff is so friendly--no side eye for me trying like half the flavors haha). Then, I inevitably end of pairing a new flavor with old reliable (but never boring) Salted Caramel. For folks (like me) that can't just pick just one flavor, they offer two small scoops in a "small" size (which honestly isn't even that small). And when you're feeling extra decadent, spring for the chocolate waffle cone. You're welcome.

Love this place!! Staff was so friendly and welcoming! They are one of the only places in the city I've seen with good flavors of dairy free ice cream and their pecan praline ice cream is amazing!! My fav!

We stopped by Morellis after dinner at Farm burger during a week day night. It was winter so it wasnt busy. I suspect in the summer time, the line will be out the door. All the employees were masked and very nice and helpful. We all enjoyed our ice creams and the inventive flavors! I want to comment how child friendly this place is. They have a train that runs on a track on the ceiling that is activated by a big red button on the wall. It is like crack to a toddler.

Love coming here with kids. Lots of space, very clean, and they switch up the flavors! We come about once a week.

Had an extremely rude experience here. It's around 9pm on a chilly week night, and there is no one else there. My friend and I enter the store, unclear if they are even open. We try a single sample and are waiting for our order to be taken when someone comes in behind us, at which point we are completely ignored as we stand there waiting to order. The woman behind us orders and pays, and the person at the counter, who has seen that we were never helped, has the audacity to ask "anything else I can do for you?" I have rarely been treated so rudely, and pending a miracle, I do not see a return visit in my future. So much for southern hospitality.

The signs are true. It really is the best ice cream in the city. You won't find smoother, creamier, more delicious ice cream anywhere else.

The absolute best salted caramel period. Great place for kids and cool staff highly recommend.

Looks a little beat down from the outside but once you walk in, you are treated nicely. Menu is small but delicious. I ordered the Brownie Sundae and it was amazing. 10/10 will be coming here on my next visit to Atlanta.

Good ice cream, dense and flavorful but omg tiny portions for an expensive price, small was two tiny scoops, a child's portion which should be a small scoop was a condiment size sample for $3.50. Very much not worth it since a small is just a dollar more. The kids was not even large enough for a toddler, had to go get them more, Childs portion is a rip off. The Sundaes barely filled the cup, they again were tiny portions and they hid the size by hiding it under more whipped cream than ice cream. Not worth the price, the wait or the effort to find parking on a weekend.

why have i never had this before this month? this is the second Morelli's i've been to, the first was at The Works and i thought i loved it so much, why not try this one. as you can see from my previous ice cream store reviews, i'm picky. this place is DELICIOUS. i had excellent service from both places and we met the owners at this one! super nice and hard working. very clean store, cute train at the top. LOTS of variety from brownies to cones to milkshakes to cakes. they have 1-2 lactose free options, didnt try those. they offer samples. i've had: strawberry, chocolate, butter pecan, cake batter oreo. all so so good but i go back to chocolate. the chocolate, and all the ice cream in my opinion is smooth, creamy and so so good! taste is always fresh! the cones aren't salty but not too sweet, they are perfect sizes and their portions are great. if you want amazing ice cream, go here. they are atl based as well so huge bonus! owners are nice and hard working. the guys/gals that work there are sweet and helpful and the prices are reasonable. great place for family, dates etc. in a wonderful location. you could get dessert at restaurants but why not come here, in my opinion it's way better. i don't have pics but trust me, it's worth a shot. i'll be back and you'll probably see me there.

Dairy free peanut butter ice cream was okay but not great. Very expensive for such a small scoop.

the ice cream was a bit expensive (i got a small: $4.50, m&m's: $1, fudge: 50¢) but that's the only reason i gave four stars (just wasn't expecting the price). the quality of ice cream was so creamy and wonderful and the staff was super sweet. very comforting enviroment and truly would come again!!
