Really delicious food! This place just opened and I was really impressed with how put together they were on their opening night. I'm looking forward to going back again once they really have their groove on. In the pics: Edamame: I'm generally meh about edamame (vegetables in general really) but this was yummy. The spice/chili coating is great. Tuna tartare: This was my friends dish but I got to try it. It was great. It didn't taste fishy and was definitely high quality. I'd get this if I went back. BBQ Pork: Super moist and tender. The BBQ flavor was really there without it swimming in sauce. My only issues was that it was a touch difficult to eat with chopsticks (at least with my amateur fingers). Branzino: Also my friend's dish. What I tried was cooked perfectly.

Mori was very quiet on the night of July 4th. We were even the only customers during a certain period. The service was very good. We were recommended the grilled sea scallop with brown butter, which was really delicious, but I still prefer the raw scallop on top of the silken tofu. I can taste the nature sweetness inside of it. Wagyu was cooked perfectly, with right amount of fat and easily melting in the mouth. The pork is well breaded and fried in the katsudon curry don! Overall the experiences were really good and the matcha IPA was quite interesting too.

I can't stop coming back here every week (sometimes twice a week) to try out the new additions to their menu as well as introduce my friends and family to this cozy restaurant located in Park Slope. The food tastes amazing and is definitely worth the price for the quality. Some of my favorite dishes include Soy-Garlic Chicken (Lunch), Roasted Sea Scallops (Lunch/Dinner), Hand-chopped Bigeye Tuna Tartare (Dinner), Ikura/Uni Don (Dinner), Korean Fried Oyakodonburi (Dinner), Hainanese Chicken (Dinner), and Kaisen Don (Dinner); however, you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu because all the dishes were created with tender love and care. My friends who live in Queens are already making plans for their future visit to Mori NYC despite 1hr+ commutes due to the constant delays and change in services from the MTA. Compliments to the brilliant chef and attentive/accommodating staff who make the experience at Mori NYC worth it every time. The popularity of Mori NYC has significantly increased since its opening, so it is advised to reserve/call ahead for dinner.

BEST FOOD EVER! Honestly, the people who say that the food is too expensive or not good do not understand food at all. You get what you pay for and what you get at Mori is QUALITY! The food was soooo amazing. The pork chop literally melted in my mouth. They also serve these really beautiful cuts of fish. I will definitely be coming here again with more friends.

I went on Saturday night and loved all the Japanese inspired dishes they had. You can't go wrong with an Ikura don and an oyakodon hits the comfort levels. the prices were normal for eating out. 15-20 dollars for an entree is pretty great! Not sure why Bruce wayne said it was expensive haha. In my world batman's rich..

Really good food. The pickled mushrooms are so amazing that I just ate them all without taking a picture. The katsu was great. Ikuradon was amazing as well. The price point is a tad high, but you definitely get what you pay for. The quality of the food speaks for itself.

Came here on Thursday lunch. There were only 2 group of people including us. I saw it online people talking about ikura uni don, and they looks really delicious. So that's why I came here for that. But this is a big disappointment, the ikura was sweeter than normal, and the uni was not fresh. It was watering, and taste bitter and awful. I couldn't Finish it at all. They should control the quality of the ingredient more seriously. Especially that's raw, people may get sick of eating stale food!

Awesome food and friendly staff! Ordered the Very Red Panang Curry and it was creamy and flavorful. Definitely coming back
