Cute diner with friendly service and atmosphere. Vegetarian with a lot of vegan options. They have a wonderful mushroom gravy and always use fresh, quality ingredients. This morning we had the Belgian waffles with fruit and the morning medley (sram led eggs and herbed roasted potatoes (Yum!) and toast with a side of avocado. Everything was really tasty- and generous portions- except our Belgian waffles arrived cold. It’s a reasonably priced, family-friendly, and charming spot to eat.

Side of the spiced tempeh was our absolute favorite. French toast and the morning glory sandwich were delicious too. Loved that I could skip the sweetener for the chai. The staff were attentive and extremely kind. Even on a busy Eugene marathon weekend they remained cheerful. If you get an outdoor seat and you're lucky, you could watch freight trains pass by the Eugene Amtrak station

Google
Really great food I love that it’s all vegetarian and vegan. Lots of food considering the affordable price. Service was friendly. I highly recommend for breakfast! I got the omelette with tempeh, and the French toast.

Google
I’m no vegetarian, but I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I ordered the French toast and was delighted to see that my plate was abundantly decorated with 6 large slices, all subtly dressed in a luscious strawberry purée. Well decorated, quaint and delightsome. The only problem with the atmosphere was the noise level, my headache was ever growing, but the food kept my head clear.

Google
While not mind-blowing, undoubtedly one of the best breakfast places in Eugene and Springfield. Always good food, and prices are reasonable.

Google
Takes a while to get seated but it's worth the wait. This cute breakfast spot has been my go-to spot every time I drive by Eugene. And I drove from Oakland just to eat here! Few spots in the country cater to vegetarians (not vegan, sorry) and this place has so many great and original options! The hash with tempeh was the bomb. The golden chai missed the mark, but I have given up on any cafe or restaurant in the States to make good chai. The crepes were delicious and I'd come back just for the mushroom gravy.

Google
Delicious. I haven't been able to order Gluten Free French Toast anywhere in the 15 years I've had to be gluten free. Beware, the servings are huge and the meal is dense. Be prepared to take some home.

Google
Right across the street from the Eugene Amtrak Station, this unpretentious yet cute cafe offers tasty and healthy breakfasts and lunches. We had the soup, salad and bread. A cup of chunky mushrooms and potato soup, a mix of young greens with cucumbers and purple cabbage with a tahini dressing and a fresh biscuit the size of a hockey puck. The other vegetarian options looked great as well.

Yelp
amazzzing!! definitely worth the wait for this cafe! this is a quaint spot but has great outdoor seating for the warmer months. the walls are decorated with local art, which is so fun. service was fairly quick even on a busy sunday morning. all the servers were very friendly!! this entire restaurant is vegetarian, and even though none of my group is, we loved our meals. Pumpkin Waffle Special- very subtle pumpkin taste, but the toppings were wonderful. For a vegan waffle, it wasn't dry at all! 3-Fingered Jack Omelette- yum! especially with the vegan sour cream The Fusion- great curry flavor, and loved the potato wrap Claire Bear's Bomblette- I think it could've been a bit more garlicky, but again the potato wrap is delicious great spot in Eugene!

Yelp
This place is awesome with plenty of outside seating. It's also near the train station. Outside has a nature view for my outdoor people, awesome place to take your pups Our server was great, she recommend the omelets and waffles The servings were pretty large, enough to have leftovers. They have water outside for your fur baby. They also have bowls for your pups

Yelp
Excellent service! Cute little cafe with lots of vegan options. Not that I'm vegan. Usually sends me out the door I had the breakfast burrito and it was so good I came back again for another one. So simple to make but so many places get it wrong. This place does it right!

Yelp
Love this place so much. I'm annoyed at myself for not trying it sooner but it's now my go-to spot every time I'm in Eugene at breakfast time. The servers are awesome, the food (everything) is excellent, and their (NA) drink menu has some glorious hot and cold drinks on it. Can't wait to go back once again.

Yelp
I love a place that's not only vegan friendly but also gluten friendly. Especially when the staff asks your preferences! I had the spicy peanut noodles "salad" I loved that it was served cold but definitely thought more spice was needed. I also understand this is Eugene Oregon and it may be spicy to some people. Service was super fast too. I also may sound weird for saying this but their gluten free toast with vegan butter was absolutely my favorite. Cute cozy dinner that serves breakfast and lunch. I can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Good food with a health focus. Service could be a bit more attentive. Reasonably priced. Cute cafe.

Yelp
Talk about a dining experience! The food here is PHENOMENAL, so many amazing options to pick from, you literally cannot go wrong. The staff was so friendly and helpful, making the vibe just that much more pleasurable. Such an amazing experience from top to bottom. I cannot wait to plan another trip to Eugene, just so I can eat here again.

Yelp
I love Morning Glory for vegan breakfast options! Their servers are kind, welcoming, and efficient. I also enjoy the rotating artwork by local artists displayed in their dining room. Try their banana bread, and vegan mushroom gravy. So yummy!

Yelp
The best ! Ww had cinnamon rolls, French toast and vegan breakfast sandwich. The coffee and service are wonderful . You will love this quality!

Yelp
Wow what a great place! The food is delicious, the people are great, and the cafe is so cute with outdoor and indoor seating. We were on a road trip from Seattle to SF and stopped here for breakfast. Plenty of street parking (pay at a meter) and open tables. Everything is vegetarian with lots of vegan by default dishes or substitutions. Bottomless coffee! With dairy and non-dairy cream available. Also every time you order toast they ask if you want vegan or dairy butter. Love that! It's so hard to decide what to get because everything looks amazing, and they have a fully stoked pastry case (we got some scones and chocolate croissant to go). A bunch of us ordered the vegan omelet bc we were curious, it's a ton of veggies wrapped in a crispy potato shell topped with a vegan tofu-based herbed sour cream. And comes with toast! There's jelly and hot sauce available nearby. A lot of dishes are available as half portions if you want to try multiple things. And breakfast is served all day! The best. Would recommend if you're driving through Eugene or visiting for a while or even live there! I'd enjoy going back. Update - the lemon strawberry scone I got to go is SO SO good. Perfect amount of tartness you can taste in delicious lemon frosting. You wouldn't know it was vegan.

Yelp
First time in Eugene and we wanted to check out this breakfast place. There was a line outside which is typically a good sign. We put our names down and waited outside for about 20 minutes. You seat yourself and we sat at a booth. The inside is decorated with local artwork and interesting decor. The wait staff was all very nice and we go to our food pretty quick, My special burrito came with soy sausage and was pretty good. The fritter was the star of the show. I recommend this spot if you are in Eugene and need a good breakfast.

Yelp
On our last day in Oregon, we decided to grab breakfast at Morning Glory Café since it was fairly close to the airport and a few members of our party were vegans. We loved that the restaurant accommodate to our dietary restrictions and they were nice to let us switch seats a couple of times (inside - too cold, first outside seat - too hot, and the last seat - just right!). I ordered the claire bear's bomblette, golden milk chai, and the fresh squeezed orange juice. Meanwhile, my husband ordered the 3 fingered jack with the biscuit. Everything that I ate and drank was delicious especially the fresh squeezed orange juice. My in laws ordered the sandwich which was very big and perfect for two. We also ordered a cinnamon roll for dessert. We will definitely come back when we are in the area next year.

Yelp
What an amazing place! Food is so good. My daughter is vegan and I'm a part time vegetarian. We both got what we wanted and it has so fast! Weekends can be crazy. Weekdays are much more chill.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this place after a quick yelp search and we were so happy we did! We didn't realize it is a vegetarian/vegan establishment. But don't let that stop you if you are a meat lover. They have both vegan and dairy butter options. We opted for the June specials and I loved my eggs with zucchini and chard so much...I have been making it at home the last couple days. The potatoes were a huge hit with the perfect crisp. The place is cute and cozy and we did have a short wait...but it was a Sunday morning. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We only saw pay parking...but there maybe hidden free parking somewhere. It is located by the Amtrak station and the new Old Spaghetti Factory.

Yelp
Good solid food. Was super busy for breakfast. Service was prompt, and food came out pretty quickly. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Maybe a bit heavy on the oil?

Yelp
Been here a couple times now and have seen enough to leave a review. First of all. Infested with flies. We were constantly swatting them away from our food and our bodies. Counted at least 20 at our table alone. I can't imagine how many are in the kitchen. The kitchen "lost" our ticket so we waited about 40 minutes when there were only two tables dining in. Waitress did not refill our waters or check in on our food quality which was mediocre at best. We had to go up to the counter to ask for sweetener for our drinks. We then were offered a muffin upon leaving due to our long wait, although they could not warm it because the ovens were off. Over 40$ tab with tip for a unsettling experience. Will not be coming back or recommending moving forward.

Yelp
My comfort place in Eugene. I've been coming here since 2016 and its always delicious. I love the vibe, the display case with all the perfect treats and their specials are top notch. I've been a vegetarian for 13 years and I love a place I can come to without the worry of meat getting put in my food accidentally. The service is great even on a day that's slammed, which is often. The expansion and redecoration is fabulous, makes it even more homey. Life long supporter.

Yelp
Didn't realize it was vegetarian under after we were seated. Would probably have not gone had I know prior, so glad we did! It was incredible food, had the breakfast burrito and shared the pancakes, would definitely go back!
google avatar

Elsa C.

Yelp
To be honest, went here for breakfast not knowing that it was a vegetarian establishment. That's not something anyone in our group would pick out intentionally. HOWEVER, everything on the menu was so appetizing. Was in a group of 6, so we tried quite a few things off their menu, and everything was fantastic. Their black bean burger in particular was so fresh and didn't have that processed feel that some veggie burgers too. The interior wall decorations were also really fun and pretty. The menu also had tons of vegan, gluten free, etc options. Don't personally need those, but I was impressed at how many choices folks with dietary restrictions have. TLDR; it doesn't matter if you're not vegetarian/vegan, the food here is solid and worth a visit.

Yelp
I first lived in Eugene in 2003 and lived in Eugene numerous times since then last in 2014 to 2015. I am now in SF yet Morning Glory was and still is the spot for vegan/vegetarian brunch in Eugene. Amazing food and friendly/efficient service. Expect a line at times yet everything here is amazing from the savory and sweet. During a recent week stay in Eugene I ate here twice and nearly thrice aka three times yet was a long line the last time was here so opted to go elsewhere due to a lack of time. I love the food here and vibe here. This most recent visit went with a triple lucky noodles aka savory healthy and tasty noodle dish and the cajun tempeh. Both were awesome. Recommended to check out this spot in Eugene or anywhere near it for that matter.

Yelp
Nothing sours an appetite quite like ideology plastered on the walls and homeless begging in and around the restaurant. I was hoping the food would help. It didn't. Bland, under seasoned, and no balance. Wait staff was friendly, but seemed a bit messy. Prices were fair. Plenty of flies. Update: had the Caesar salad that was taken to go and it was good. Still doesn't make up for the other 3 dishes that were terrible.
google avatar

Sandra R.

Yelp
Love the food, the atmosphere, and the location! Triple Lucky Noodles is one of the top three dishes I've ever eaten - anywhere! Great staff, great service!

Lyla B.

Yelp
Me and my boyfriend get there and we get seated pretty quickly with our menus. But we wait there for at least 20 minutes waiting for somebody to take our order!!! After we had finally ordered our food we wait at least another 40 minutes for it to come out. And earlier I had ordered a chai tea ICED and they had completely forgotten about my drink!! Once she brought it out 40 minutes later it was HOT not ICED and it was disgusting. Only took a few sips then couldn't drink it any more. Thankfully she took it off my bill so I didn't have to waste my money on that piece of crap. Food shouldn't have took that long because it was so mid. I've had better food at crappier restaurants. I had to ask the waitress TWICE for some napkins. Took her like 10 minutes to bring NAPKINS out to us. Don't waste your money at this place, poor service, poor food, poor drinks, TERRIBLE waitress staff. Horrible experience. Please don't come here.

Yelp
This is a Eugene staple! I've been coming here for probably 15 years? I remember my mom taking me to this "vegetarian spot" as a kid and thinking is was cool, unique and soo Eugene. When I moved to town a year ago I was excited to come back here and not only reminisce on old memories but rediscover this gem with fresh, now vegan, eyes. As a health-conscious restaurant you'll find lots of house made and organic ingredients on the menu. I've tried quite a few items but I always come back to their chilaquiles! It's savory, filling, topped with my favorite herbed tofu sour cream, and it's so fun to eat. I always add some of their green and red table hot sauce and it complements the dish perfectly. Aside from the food, they offer delicious lattes and vegan pastries at the counter. I recommend trying both! I absolutely love to see how busy this place gets, knowing it not just for vegans and vegetarians but for the entire community to enjoy fresh and delicious food, as well as friendly and eccentric service.

Yelp
This cute little restaurant is the the Eugene Depot, so it's usually a very busy place, with travelers able to walk 30 seconds to get breakfast. Energetic, welcoming, friendly staff. The food is first-class, wow! They have a balanced number of menu options (enough to be adventurous but not so many as to overwhelm).
google avatar

Des T.

Yelp
EVERYTHING IS SO DELICIOUS!! WOW!!!! everyone needs to try this place! And thank you so so much for offering vegan options!!! Will stop by again!!!

Yelp
Food was lovely. Service was great. Fun quirky little place. Lavender latte was much needed

Yelp
So I've been here before and had I believe French toast that was good, today I brought my father and son that's vegetarian . And ordered I was hoping for a simple egg burrito but they only had there loaded one with lots of various veggies, so I ordered instead a simple 2 egg over easy with potatoes and banana bread and my father ordered eggs and vegan sausage, both meals the eggs were very dry and over done, tasteless, the sausage was way overdone very dry and the potatoes were soggy ( wish they were overdone) and my sons breakfast he said was tasteless except for the side of gravy which tasted like straight turmeric, which I tried with a little potato and made my stomach very upset. The banana bread was bland and dry. I like the atmosphere and location so I gave that 2 stars, probably not going back, my stomach is still upset an hour later

Ryan P.

Yelp
The food was ok, I got the French toast and was pretty disappointed by the lack of fruit on it. The strawberry sauce was not super sweet. I was also very disappointed in the service given as it was not what I expected. My mom and I visited on a busy Saturday. We were told it would be a 10 minute wait and then waited 20 minutes. We were given menus but not asked what we wanted to eat for about 30 minutes. I was also handed a box of pastry's my mom ordered and told to, "you can figure it out" as my mom asked if they could cut them into smaller pieces. Overall the service was cold and left much to be desired.

Yelp
The oldest vegetarian/vegan spot in Eugene. To my surprise, it was fantastic. I couldn't picture my breakfast without some sort of salty meat, but honestly once you taste their food it feels like nothing is missing. Everything is made from scratch with the bread made daily. A full coffee bar with so many options to choose from. Every time we stop in Eugene, this is our go-to breakfast spot. A friend of mine who lives in North Carolina recommended you to us. To think word of mouth from across the country would lead us to such a gem, speaks volumes!
google avatar

Karla M.

Yelp
This is a lovely place to wait for the train, as it's directly across from the Eugene Train Depot. The staff are friendly. I had a pretty upset stomach when I got there, and I asked one of the lovely ladies if they had something to help soothe my tummy. She got me some fresh juiced ginger and some peppermint chamomile tea. It helped me so much. I really appreciated the kindness of the staff. I'm looking forward to another visit.

Yelp
Despite being one of Eugene's healthier eating venues, I find myself disappointed with my experience there. Went there for breakfast today and my food was OK/so-so. The egg dish I ordered, which was the morning's scramble, was lukewarm but tasty. When I was asked which type of bread that I would like, my server started out a list, I interrupted and asked about the cinnamon raisin bread. I found that it is still available and so that is what I requested. Imagine my surprise when there was an additional $1.50 tacked onto my bill. I didn't know what it was for, and found out that the cinnamon bread is an extra charge, however, my server did not inform me of that. I find that very annoying. I paid the bill however my tip was not as generous as it usually would be because my server seemed to think it was my fault that I should have known I ordered something that would include an additional charge. I strongly believe that whenever one is ordering a meal and there is an extra charge for something requested, you know, like salsa or milk, who knows what, they should inform us that there will be an extra charge and ask if will that be OK. And as I have said in previous reviews, being an older customer, I may have unrealistic expectations about service experience at a restaurant. In this case, we must've had 3 different servers kind of duplicating the work. For example, when my husband checked in, he asked to order a coffee drink and the person there said we'll take care of that at your table. So he was unable to finish asking for the specifics of what he wanted and then he gave the order to the different person who came to our table, and then the coffee showed up from the first person and it wasn't what he actually wanted or requested initially. This created confusion, though the second server was more than willing to prepare the drink as he would've preferred it and left the other for us to drink if we chose.it was yucky and went unfinished. I don't know, I like warm friendly service and I really didn't have that here today. I don't know what else to say except it was a very mediocre experience.

Yelp
Breakfast favorite for many! Love that their vegetarian menu is tasty. The biscuits and gravy is delicious, love the herbed mushroom gravy. Their herbed potatoes are just perfect. Expect a wait especially on weekends. They also do good baked treats.
google avatar

Paul K.

Yelp
This place is still super good and super popular. There is a waitlist (no reservations) that you sign up for when you arrive. The weather was nice so we just waited outside and people watched. The wait wasn't long and we went inside for breakfast. My daughter had the Fusion and I had the Bomblette along with a couple cups of coffee. Very tasty and healthy food here. Always my daughter's favorite breakfast place in Eugene so we end up here at least once whenever I visit. Give Morning Glory a try when in Eugene. Your tummy will thank you!

Yelp
I love how this place is completely vegetarian and has tons of vegan options they have big serving sizes and my mushroom grilled cheese was super delicious. They have outdoor seating which was nice in the warm summer. Will definitely go again to try more deliciousness.

Yelp
the cutest little downtown spot. lovely atmosphere, lovely people, lovely food. everything is either vegan or vegetarian. so many breakfast options! good pricing, too. my favorite sunday morning brunch spot.

Yelp
Honestly, I only came here because I was with a friend. Low key, felt tricked. I wanted a traditional breakfast and quickly learned this is a vegan place. I wasn't a fan of their offerings, but the eggs were good. I'm sure this is the bees knees of vegan places.
google avatar

Anika W.

Yelp
This was such an amazing breakfast place! New fav! The food was delicious. We only waited 20 minutes to be seated without a reservation on a busy day. The waitresses were all so kind and helpful and made us feel seen and heard even though they were busy. It was very charming!!

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
I came here with several friends and we all enjoyed our breakfast. The food was delicious and service was great. I enjoyed the Hibiscus/Cinnamon iced tea. The cafe has such a family atmosphere that you feel very welcomed. We hope to eat here again the next time we are in town.

Holden K.

Yelp
Butiful restaurant, staff where super nice but the food isn't nearly as good as the atmosphere would lead you to believe it would be. I got the black bean burger with the fake mayonnaise and when I took my first bite the bread was dry and overly hard on the outside as for the sandwich, you couldn't taste the bean patty unless you where able to taste the air you breath but it had a nice spicyness to it. There were TWO slices of tomato!?!?? Are the tomato's made out of gold or something?? Plus the onion was hair thin in strips about an inch long like what the heck man, gettin me exited for absolutely nothing. The mayo however was pretty darn good so that was a plus. I also got a mocha with extra chocolate the mocha lowkey was gas so props to this place. That burger was not it tho. Wouldn't recommend unless your vegan/veitarian

Yelp
Super cute cafe with vegan BREAKFAST! The biscuits are delicious! They had vegan French toast, vegan waffles and vegan scrambles! They have the freshest apple juice I have ever had a place that wasn't an orchard. The service was quick. There are plenty of desserts to take with before you leave too!

Elaine D.

Yelp
Morning Glory Cafe's food, coffee, and service is excellent. It is often VERY busy, so we try to arrive before noon.
google avatar

Kierstin D.

Yelp
Morning Glory Cafe is somewhat a staple of Eugene! I believe they cater towards vegetarian & vegan meal options as I don't remember seeing meat on their menu. I know one of the biggest struggles for my vegetarian/vegan friends is being limited to salad or fries at a lot of restaurants, so this spot offers a pretty extensive and tasty menu for those with dietary restrictions which is amazing! I've been somewhat neutral about most of my meals here, until the Chilaquiles! I would say that's probably the best dish I've tried on their breakfast menu. Super flavorful and just all around delicious! I've been here a few times and the service tends to be hit or miss depending on who your waiter/waitress is. But overall they try to ensure your food comes out quickly and that you have a good experience.
google avatar

Toni L.

Yelp
The food was amazing! Definitely go here if you are looking for delicious, home style, cozy, comforting vegan and vegetarian food. I took one each of their vegan baked goods home and was delighted with all of them. Casual laid back atmosphere with an earthy vibe. Service was quick and friendly. Can't wait to go back and try more of their menu! So glad to have found this spot and can't wait to go back!

Mengqian Vera X.

Yelp
Vegan scramble (4.5/5): the skin is made of hash brown, the inside is scrambled zucchini, carrots, and broccoli, lightly flavored, but you can request hot sauce to go with it. Pumpkin waffle (5/5): the waffle itself has pumpkin and spice flavor, texture is on the chewy side. Topping is candied walnut, crunchy and nutty! Temphe (4/5): crispy, not very flavorful. Chai (4/5): brewed from real tea and real spice, foamy. Wish it is creamier. Overall, this is a very cute place, especially friendly to vegan. Staff is super friendly, decor has a theme of Alice in wonderland.

Nichole K.

Yelp
Favorite breakfast place in town. Service is fast. Food is good. Staff are nice. Servings are big. I also love the rotating local art on the wall.

John P.

Yelp
Once I got past the "Black Lives Matter" sign in the window and "Free Palestine" on the restroom chalk board and the Demonic Artwork for sale on the wall... I could actually enjoy the food. I won't be back...

James F.

Yelp
The service and food was not great. Mediocre at best. Chilaquiles was not chilaquiles at all. Broken up blue corn chips?? Chilaquiles is made with cut up tortilla wraps. There was no sauce on it either. Matcha and Chai latte were alright if you like warm drinks that were meant to be served hot.
google avatar

Yelp
A great breakfast spot in Eugene, even if you aren't vegan or vegetarian. The banana bread is a must, and you get a choice between regular butter and vegan butter (earth balance spread). I had their carrot cake waffle, which was very tasty. It did have a lot of raisins in it, so maybe not the best if you aren't a fan of those. The atmosphere is really cozy and warm and its a great place to meet friends and catch up over tasty foods. Waits can be long on the weekends so plan to come early!
