The restaurant's design from the walls all the way to the bathroom sink was unique to the restaurant and fun. I'd definitely keep my eye out for things if it's your 1st time eating here. I got the waffles & fried chicken which surprised me by being so good as it was my first time trying it. And a mocktail which had a good amount of foam and wasn't too sweet. The server was very chill, friendly, and quick. My friend accidentally dropped a piece of her bacon and when she asked if she could possibly get another one, the server said yes and came back with 2. The restaurant also takes reservations so if you're coming a bit earlier, or predicting a busy time, I'd reserve. Overall, the restaurant's whole ambience is great for breakfast/brunch with a friend or two.

Server Josh was a real delight. All food we tried was delicious and fresh. Gorgeous place. Overall 5 stars! Absolutely go to Morningbirds! So beautiful for a special event. Noted a couple of odd service issues. Had to ask for silverware, had to ask for plates for cinnamon rolls which are served in a gooey hot dish (you have to have plates). Saw other people needing to ask for things that seemed similar to our experience.

Let me start by saying: Morningbirds is absolutely beautiful! I was so excited to take my son—who was visiting from Washington state—out for a special mom/son brunch date. The atmosphere set high expectations, and I was eager to show off this place. We were among the first guests on a Friday morning and were seated promptly, but that’s where the smooth experience ended. It took about 10–15 minutes just to receive water. My son ordered an $8 mocktail, and I ordered a $16 cocktail—yet our cinnamon roll appetizer arrived before our drinks. And unfortunately, those cinnamon rolls, while visually impressive, were extremely dry even with the cream cheese frosting. The drinks finally arrived, but mine lacked any of the flair or flavor you’d expect from a $16 price tag. It felt flat, rushed, and uninspired. To be fair, our entrées were absolutely delicious—no complaints there. But the overall slowness and inattentiveness in service really overshadowed the entire experience. For a place with such stunning ambiance and high-end pricing, I expected more. I really wanted this to be a memorable morning with my son, but sadly, it just didn’t live up to the hype.

I was visiting a friend who knows me well—she took me to this spot knowing I love a good bougie breakfast, and it did not disappoint! Every detail of the restaurant was thoughtfully designed, from the carved bird decor to the stylish bathroom sinks. The bar area and chandelier were absolutely stunning! The food and drinks were just as impressive. The elderflower mimosa was refreshing, and the coffee was spot on. I loved the avocado toast, and the bacon was chef’s kiss. If you’re looking for an upscale breakfast or brunch experience, this place is a must-visit!

Google
We loved this place and would have given them a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the hostess that checked us in. She was unfriendly and unprofessional. She should be trained being the first face of the restaurant. We are the Golden Maltese (lobster and waffles), the King Fisher, The Cardinal and had Cucumber Mimosas and Espresso Martinis. Our server Johnny was great, the decor was cool, the best part is the Food is made with no baddies!

Google
There are eateries and there are experiences. Morningbirds is the latter. Everything is high quality & finely curated - staff, decor, ambiance, and especially the menu. I ordered The Cardinal - hands down the most tender, flavorful corned beef hash I've ever enjoyed. Austin, my server, was especially kind & attentive. But, all the staff were friendly. 10/10 highly recommend WITH reservations.

Google
The experience is unmatched. This place is so beautiful inside and out, our server was so kind and amazing. Let's talk about the food as well as the presentation of the food!!! Our food was exceptionally delicious and presentation was top tier, hot and fresh melted in your mouth. I definitely highly recommend dining here for brunch if you desire the highest of class.

Google
We celebrated my daughter’s birthday here yesterday and everything gets a “10”, not a “5”! The customer service was exceptional, everything was served within a timely manner and the food and drinks were beyond delicious! Oh, let’s not forget to mention the ambiance…The restaurant is warm, welcoming, decorated beautifully and the music choices were excellent and set at a perfect volume! I just relocated to Georgia from California and this will definitely be on the top of my list for “Brunch Go To’s”!!!

Yelp
The food was excellent and unique! The server Kiasi was amazing and very attentive! Thank you for a wonderful and memorable brunch! We will be back! Van and Regina

Yelp
Amazing food and an amazing server! Josh went above and beyond for our group that was out celebrating a birthday! The vibes in the restaurant are immaculate!

Yelp
The entryway was beautifully adorned with flowers and lighting. Very pretty flowers all over the walls and ceilings. The velvet moves and walls were really an extra element to the place. A wonderful place for any kind of event whether it be a bridal party, a tea, Mother's Day, birthdays, you name it It's a great place to go. The service was amazing. The young man who greated us was very warm and welcoming. He seated us rapidly, and returned often to make sure we were both comfortable, and that our order was tasty. The food came out in a timely manner, and was at an appropriate temperature. EVERYTHING WAS garnished nicely and TASTY, from the shrimp and waffles to the omelette and bacon. We had the side of cinnamon rolls which were hot out of the oven, and served straight to the table with nice delicious hot icing. I will have to take photos next time. I will DEFINITELY go again!

Yelp
This place earns 5 stars for interior and decor alone. I would really love to know the inspiration behind this place entirely. It was beautiful inside. My friend chose this spot for us so I had no idea what to expect prior. There was no wait once we arrived, which was great. Immediately I noticed there were no drinks anywhere on the menu. It took a while for the server to arrive but he eventually brought us a tablet that contained the drinks. I ordered the omelette and biscuit with turkey sausage, I personally would never order that again. The sausage was dry and flavorless. The omelette was watery and lacked salt. The biscuit however was excellent. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles and that was absolutely delicious. It is clear this place has certain specialties. The experience wasn't terrible but needless to say, for the price I paid for that omelette I did not leave very happy.

Yelp
We were a very large group of 15. We didn't have a reservation, but I called and ask if they could accommodate us. This is on a holiday at that. They graciously obliged and told us they were short-staffed. We didn't wait too long for our orders. Our waiter kept us informed of our orders. Found it odd that they didn't have a lemon for water or iced tea. Nonetheless, everyone of us was pleased with our food. The shrimp/fish and grits, chicken and waffles and omelette were very good. We'll head over to Moringbirds when we want breakfast fare. The restaurant is beautiful decorated, even the bathroom. The decorator needs to be commended for the attention to detail.

Yelp
Came here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon. I was welcomed and greeted by the hostess which felt very special. We were seated immediately. Our waiter had a few tables but he was handling it as best as he could. I had the sangria which was kinda sweet but refreshing. We started off with the cinnamon rolls as an appetizer and they were some of the best I've ever had. So soft, fluffy, sweet, and delicious. Definitely a must have! I had the pancakes, bacon, grits, and eggs for an entree. Everything was really good and reasonably priced! I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
3 Stars - Needs Operational Refinement We visited Morningbirds in Roswell today with a reservation for seven people, and I called ahead to increase the reservation to eight. The hostess assured me it wouldn't be an issue since we'd be seated at Table 11, which she said could accommodate eight guests. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. When we arrived, the person who appeared to be in charge did acknowledge the confusion but also shifted responsibility back onto me, stating that unless the system reflects eight guests, they cannot accommodate. I understand the importance of process--but it would be more effective to align staff training internally rather than relying on guests to navigate those gaps. It took about 30 minutes to get our group situated, and we ultimately had to split into two tables--a significant inconvenience since our plan was to enjoy brunch together. Ironically, even the original table wouldn't have comfortably fit seven people. Once seated, we were handed three different menus--each with slightly different prices for the same items. While this may seem minor, it speaks to an overall lack of consistency and organization. The food itself was average--not bad, but not memorable--and certainly not enough to overshadow the confusion leading up to the meal. Lastly, we were politely asked to wrap up after 90 minutes, which is understandable in a busy brunch spot. That said, the service throughout our visit lacked urgency, so the request felt a bit off, especially given the slow pace of everything leading up to it. All in all, Morningbirds has potential, but the experience needs tightening--from reservations to communication, menu consistency, and table management. A small gesture of goodwill from the staff would've gone a long way in making up for the disruption.

Yelp
I discovered this restaraunt at Taste of Alpharetta back in the spring and they were giving out samples of chicken & waffles sliders which were delicious. I brought my grandmother to Morningbirds for brunch recently. I love the aesthetics of the restaurant. Lots of florals and the bird details are unique such as the bathroom door handle is a bird and the sink bowls in the restrooms are decorated with birds. My grandmother and I both had a mocktail with pineapple and ginger beer and the cinammon rolls as an appetizer. We loved both items. I ordered The Peacock as my entree which is a good amount of food for the price. The standout items for me were the french toast and the grits. The french toast was so good that no syrup was needed. The grits were very well seasoned! There were quite a few parties celebrating birthdays as well so this could be good place for that. Looking forward to eating here again in the future.

Yelp
the food was good!! we started with the cinnamon rolls for the table and they were wonderful! we would order again. we each got a different type of item for breakfast - breakfast sandwich, oatmeal, etc. the potatoes were super good and our fave thing of the day! we each were happy with what we ordered and portions were a good size for an individual. not overly full plates, and attractively presented. however, for a tea place, the tea selection was low. in fact we all ended up getting coffee and we are tea drinkers. it did take a while to get our food but the store was full as it was Sunday brunch and it looked like one person was training. our server however was AMAZING! we would actually request him when we go again. he was even in our group photo! the restaurant itself was beautiful. engaging uplifing and very pretty.

Yelp
The decor will make you believe you've left the hustle and bustle of the city. Every detail is beautifully and precisely curated. Service was friendly, informative, and ample. Various members of the team dropped in without being invasive to ensure our experience was spot on. Saving the best for last, the food was truly outstanding, especially when paired with a delicious mimosa! Well done Morningbirds...and right in our own backyard!!!

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant with good food and service. We made reservations for a party of 7 for Sunday brunch at 1:30pm. When we arrived the place wasn't overly crowded and we were able to be seated quickly once checked in. Our server came over and got us started with water and drinks however we did have a wait of about 10 minutes or so before we were able to place our orders. I chose the chicken and waffles and upgraded my waffles to the strawberry shortcake which was delicious and could easily be served as dessert as it was topped with fresh strawberries a cheesecake type of whipped topping and strawberry and cream cheese icing ( no syrup needed) the wings crispy and seasoned decently i requested hot sauce to give me the kick i needed. And the grits were amazing served thick and savory stoneground i definitely recommend them. My friend got the short rib and grits which they enjoyed they just wish the portion was a bit more generous given the cost of $39. The service was pretty good and the general manager came over to check on up just see how everything was and if anything was needed which was kind of her. At the end they brought one check and we were advised that they could only split it 3 ways (something to keep in mind for bigger parties). Overall the place is super cute with good food if you're in the sandy springs area I'd recommend checking them out for brunch and they also have takeout.

Yelp
This was a treat for the senses. The aesthetic was so different but in a good, calming way. Plenty of parking for the restaurant. The wait staff all had genuine smiles and the cuisine was divine. Everything was well presented and tasted just as good as they look. The prices were on the high end of reasonable. I certainly will dine here again and again because the items on the menu are mouthwatering inviting and I say yes! To that invitation.

Yelp
Fabulous Experience at Morning Birds! My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Morning Birds, and we were absolutely blown away! We ordered the chicken and waffles, a dish we are extremely particular about, and let me tell you--they were some of the best we've ever had. The waffles were perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and paired beautifully with the perfectly seasoned, juicy fried chicken. Beyond the incredible food, the service was top-notch. From the warm welcome at the host stand to the attentiveness of the manager, and most of all, our amazing server, John, every moment felt special. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. If you haven't been to Morning Birds you are missing out! Try them out--you won't be disappointed! We can't wait to return!

Yelp
Our server Josh was great! Very attentive and answered our questions very easily. Food was fantastic! Oatmeal was delicious and the omelette I tried was marvelous!

Yelp
Food did not disappoint at all!! Our entire party enjoyed everything ordered. Some of the items ordered included macchiatos, lavender mimosa, crafted lemonade to food menu items including The Peacock, The King Fisher w/ wings, The Swan Song, The Maple Match w/Shrimp. Food was all freshly prepared and seasoned well. Our waiter, Prateen was very helpful, friendly and provided great service. Morningbirds is a beautiful, charming addition to the Roswell area. I can't wait to return and share this experience with other friends and family.

Yelp
Morningbirds is a cute, well decorated brunch restaurant co-owned by Anthony Hamilton in the Roswell area. Everything is scratch made and delicious, especially the bananas foster pancake. ..Yummmmmyyyy!! This has to be the "BEST" pancake I've had yet.. so light and fluffy it wasn't like your traditional pancake mix, but more of a cake or doughnut batter.. either way, it was AMAZING.. service wasn't fast being that everything was cooked to order, which was okay, but still a little annoying. Especially if you're "HANGRY" like I was... LOL! I'm definitely a fan of Anthony Hamilton's music, but I'm not on board with the long wait time for food. I even overheard another patron saying their food took too long as well. I would definitely return for the pancakes alone and see if my next visit renders a different response in my review.

Yelp
We visited for our first time and we will definitely come again when we're back in town. The restaurant is tastefully and uniquely decorated with a bird theme. It looks like it came out of Alice and Wonderland. Kiasi took great care of us. She was friendly and attentive. Such a great experience!

Yelp
This was my first time at this restaurant. I was referred by a friend who had great things to say. It is quite a drive for me but I was meeting friends for lunch so I was looking forward to it. The place was warm, cute, and cozy. The customer service was excellent! Our server Kiasi was so knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. She made everything on the menu sound so appealing. Those cinnamon rolls! My God today! All the food was very tasty and flavorful. Grits cooked perfectly. Catfish fried to perfection. I don't have anything bad to say except I wanted more! I will be back for sure.

Yelp
Absolutely delightful little spot in Roswell. Came for brunch on a Saturday and immediately knew that I was going to love it. The decor is so nice and upscale and perfect for a date or a girly brunch. I had the chicken and waffles, and it was yummy. And a cocktail, although I can't remember, the name was also good. My companions also enjoyed their food and omelette and pancakes. Service was great. Very professional and not too pushy. I had such a lovely experience that before I left I stopped and made reservations for Mother's Day.

Yelp
This is a beautiful restaurant. Our server Kiasi was great and provided excellent service. I ordered the Fiery Phoenix with catfish. It was delicious. I plan on coming here again.

Yelp
This is the first time we visited this restaurant. We decided to give it a shot for Sunday Brunch. The decor was pleasant and the staff were attentive and delightful. The menu is extensive. Most notably is that they focus on natural ingredients. Very commendable Be forewarned, the portions are enormous! The food was all delicious and served hot. Definitely will be going back again.

Yelp
Cute breakfast spot located in a plaza, wasn't like the ones in atl with super loud music. Our waitress was great and attentive, she did give us a heads up about the wait time for food. While we waited we ordered drinks, I had a mock tail mojito that was really good. The entrees were also pretty good, I ordered the fiery phoenix and my friend had the American bird.

Graca B.

Yelp
I went there today to celebrate my birthday with several friends. The place is pretty, the servers were very polite and efficient, unfortunately, the food was not that great and I may add, overpriced. I had the scrambled eggs, (very salty), grits and one biscuit. To my surprise, it was a sweet biscuit and very hard to cut. For sure NOT a traditional southern biscuit. In the end, I paid $25 total for this not so good breakfast. The ambience was good and thank God for the companion of friends to save the day!

Yelp
Ambiance is likely the best part about this restaurant. The entrance is elegant looking and the interior has lots of flowers and bird decor (sort of like a grown up version of Rainforest Cafe kind of look). The staff was attentive, if not particularly welcoming or smiling. Food was a solid very good, but not really amazing, though it was very attractively prepared. All of the coffee beverages (lattes and mochas) were lukewarm. Be warned that a Peacock is an immense amount of food and distributed among two full sized dinner plates and a separate large ramekin of grits. Calamari has a nice, light and crispy breading, but is a bit skimpy on the actual calamari. The cinnamon rolls are on the small size (sort of the size that you would get if you bought a roll of cinnamon rolls from the refrigerated section of a grocery store, so if you allot half a roll per person, it's more of a bite than a real serving. Having said that, the cinnamon rolls were surprisingly unpopular. I thought they were okay tasting, and warm, at least, but the other diners felt that they were doughy and underdone. The texture suggests that they are made with a kind of cinnamon flavored cake batter rather than cinnamon flavored bread dough. The bananas foster pancake was quite tasty, but the notion that someone could eat a pancake that large, along with eggs, protein, potato, and grits is kind of scary. Fortunately I don't mind taking home leftovers. The bananas Foster French toast also looked lovely. The biscuits and gravy were surprisingly tasty (I'm not usually a biscuits and gravy person) and I think it's due to the turkey sausage in the gravy. Avocado toast was quite attractively prepared and probably the prettiest thing on the table. French fries, however, were surprisingly unattractive compared to the caliber of the rest of the food. Definitely would not order them unless someone is going to die without fries. All told, it's a lovely spot to visit if you're celebrating a special occasion, but it's not the kind of place that I would want to keep coming back to over and over.

Yelp
The food was really good. Our waitress Paris was absolutely amazing. I'll definitely dine here again on that alone.

Yelp
Service, ambiance, taste were ALL on point. Brian who assist us at the bar before our table was fabulous. The decor is gorgeous. 90 min time limit for table. Entire party must be present. Despite those rules, nothing bad to say! Will absolutely be back.

Matt P.

Yelp
Our first experience was an absolute disaster! No one came to our table nor the tables around us and we had to order our drinks three times and did not get our drink served nor able to order our food until we waited for 55 minutes! Very poorly trained staff, and we ended up leaving to get food someplace else and shockingly were even charged for the drinks that we waited for that long! So much promise and we were so excited and left unbelievably disappointed!

Yelp
Ambiance is 10/10! Every detail is perfect, down to the feather bow ties the servers wear. The food & service were exceptional as well. Nice variety of traditional and elevated brunch options. We had the lox & bagels, turkey sausage gravy & biscuits, delicious grits & collards, avocado toast. Love the use of micro greens and other healthier touches. Already planning our next visit!

Yelp
Went to brunch for my friends birthday, the food was good and well made, the decor is also fantastic and looks like it was created with care. Our server was Johnny, he was great, very attentive, funny and personable. The KITCHEN on the other hand was a bit discombobulated and unorganized. People's food were wrong or coming out at different times. The manager was not very friendly and open, Johnny did a fantastic job serving us and ensuring he got everyone's orders correct. The drinks were great as well. I would definitely recommend coming and trying this place out, although I do not recommend arriving with a large party.

Yelp
What happened to this place??? Removed the side of pancakes?! $15 for one pancake is crazy. Prices all went up within less than a year .... Smh. Food portions also smaller and flavors are dull. Definitely catering to certain clientele that believe salt and pepper are the only seasoning you need. Restaurant is beautifully decorated and if you want to read a book or open a laptop you can definitely do that due to this place clearly loosing customers. You used to have to wait for brunch.,, no longer. Management strongly needs to revisit

Nyanyiwe Lucy D.

Yelp
We love the place- yesterday was our second time going. We love the food, the restaurants is decorated beautifully and friendly staff. I love my French toast and my latte! We will definitely come back soon

Yelp
Made a reservation for myself and best friends. It was the Friday after Christmas and we literally walked into our seats being ready. The decor was before gorgeous it was the first thing to catch our eyes. There are lots of menu options which was good in our opinion. Two of us got the Farm Bird which is a turkey burger with caramelized onions and an aioli sauce. Sooo good! The burger came with fries which was kind of disappointing because it says crunchy fries yet they were very soggy! Like I would hold it and wiggle it around like a worm. Luckily they were seasoned well. Our other friend got the chicken and waffles with the chicken breast. She said it was good. The star of the meal was our drinks. I had the mockingbird and it was so good I had to ask the bartender for the details on making them. We all ordered Togo cinnamon rolls and they were just okay to me but the kids will enjoy it. I'd definitely go back but would order different things. Beautiful place though! So cute for girls date!

Yelp
Idk where to start but I just want to say that this was MY experience here so I'm just laying it out there. I am not exaggerating the time stamps of our experience here. Disclaimer (I've been a food and beverage manager for 10 years) Came into town to celebrate my birthday this weekend. There are dozens of brunch places to go to and I stumbled on this one and set on this place. Made a reservation for 1pm. My friend was there right at 1 and I came in about 1:07. No one had been to the table. We continued to wait and just try to make eye contact with ANYONE to notice us. I asked a young girl did she know who our server was and could she help us out. Also there was no drink menu present and we had to ask her for one. It was not 1:25 with NO ONE even acknowledging us. 1:31 a girl came up and said "hi my name is June I'll be taking care of you. Do u know what u wanna drink?" We ordered our drinks. Not any water given to us at the very least in the meantime. Then maybe 10 mins later a guy named Johnny comes to our table. "Hello ladies has anyone been with you or taken ur order?" I said yeah...did she not tell you? He told us she not only did not put our drink order in but didn't even tell him. In my head I'm thinking how is this even happening?? Then he comes back after a few mins and says I went ahead and put ur drinks in. Should be just a few more mins. It's almost been an hour and we're JUST gonna get our drinks? He asks us is there anything else you want for now. We said yeah we ordered those cinnamon rolls with June since they take longer. And of course come to find out she never put them in. Wow. I'm tempted to talk to a manager at this point. Actually I would've thought a manager would've stopped by at least to apologize for all the delays. I couldn't tell who was a manager to be honest. We were waiting for a friend to come who was running late but that should not have caused these types of delays in just simply getting water and our drinks to start with. He takes our order, it is now 2:20 and our food arrives at 2:50. I asked him for ketchup and hot sauce when he dropped the food off. He came back with hot sauce. Then I said can I please also get some ketchup. He never came back with the ketchup. I like to eat my potatoes with ketchup, please help me out. Then he comes back to the table 10 mins later. I said can I please get some ketchup. He said oh my bad I gotcha. By this time I'm just over it. It's about 3:15 and this random person who came from the back (maybe a manager?) says "ya know ladies, this is a premium booth right here and we charge extra for staying longer." We all looked at each other like huh? And he was apparently joking. Basically hinting at us that we were there too long and they were wanting us to go. We were the only table there I guess? But seriously? It says ur hours for Saturday and Sunday are 8am-5pm.... It's 3:15. At this point that just rubbed me the wrong way and I asked for the check. Johnny brought us the check on one, which is fine. He didn't ask how we wanted our checks. $150, nothing comped or taken off to at least just make up for how long it took for us to even be greeted or our drinks taking forever. There was no bar guest at that time either when our drinks took long. I'm only not giving this a 1 star because Johnny was nice and attentive after we finally got what we needed. The food was mediocre and honestly I'm deeply disappointed that I had brunch here and wasted this time. We should've gotten taken care of in some capacity and or there should've been a manager that stopped by. I chose not to complain and just hope for the best. But next time I know to speak up. No apologies were said and I will not be back. I hope everyone does better and pays more attention. We still tipped 20% of the bill; but so not worth it. The place is beautiful and has a great area to take photos outside. But that doesn't matter when your guests wait 30 mins just to get water or noticed.

Yelp
This is the shortest review I have ever written. People if you some AMAZING, MOUTHWATERING, DELICIOUS, GUT BUSTING, UNBUTTON AND UNZIP YOUR PANTS TYPE OF FOOD. Y'ALL RUN TO MORNINGBIRDS FOR YOUR BREAKFAST/BRUNCH FULFILLEMENT. Outside of the gorgeous fairy wondrous decor. And the best hospitality you can ask for. Again run to Morningbirds. Look at these pics. Just written this review. I want to get up off the couch and go sit and wait until they open in the morning. DANG

Katia M.

Yelp
Such a Sweet Morning at Morningbirds A few of us mommies and our daughters got together for brunch at Morningbirds, and it was just perfect. The vibe was calm and cozy, the food was delicious, and everything felt so thoughtful. Johnny was truly the best--he made sure the little ones were taken care of and made them feel so special. His kindness really stood out and made our morning even better. Huge thanks to my sister for bringing us all together. If you're looking for a beautiful, family-friendly spot--this is the place to go!

Yelp
I tried this place for the first time today. Overall, the reviews on wait times are true. As a new restaurant, it appears they struggle to efficiently serve customers. It poses as a challenge when people have to wait 45 minutes for their food. Speaking of food, the food was just okay. I've had food at chain restaurants that are more exciting. It feels like they're trying to bite off more than they can chew. They have an instant coffee machine that serves "a little bit of everything", which means the specialty drinks are just okay. As for the service, there was a lack of attentiveness from the servers. We would sit for 20 minute segments without anyone stopping by our table. There were some staff who were very nice for the few moments we interacted with them. Overall, I think this place needs to improve their menu for the price and work to make service more efficient and customer-friendly. I'm hopeful that this place maintains across the hurdles of a new restaurant.

Yelp
Always looking for brunch places that are close to home. Saw this place on Instagram and decided to give it a try. The decor of the place is lovely... reminded me of mini garden. They really paid attention to the decor. They pride themselves on being 100% organic. Everything is made fresh to order, so I don't recommend you come starving. We had the blueberry mimosa, and the entree was called the peacock, which offered a little bit of everything. While our server was pleasant, the service was extremely slow...and I do mean slow. It took almost 15 minutes before our server came and took our drink order and another 10 before we ordered food. The food was delicious. As I stated, I had the Peacock, which was a sample of everything. I had the buttermilk pancake, stone grits, Applewood bacon, eggs, and potatoes. The only thing that threw me off were the grits. It tasted like they use chicken broth to flavor the grits, which can sometimes detract from the taste. Nothing needed salt or pepper or any condiments. Food was fresh to order, hot, and delicious. I would go back and hope the service is a little faster. Overall, it was a good experience and beautiful decor.

Yelp
Not sure why it took over an hour to get our food. There was no "brunch rush", so not sure why it would take that long. The cinnamon rolls were burnt and dry, huge bummer. The grapefruit juice was "bad" to the point it tasted spoiled, even the waitress said "oh it's probably gone bad?" Food was mediocre, nothing special. Bizarre. Definitely not going back.

Yelp
Drove from Buckhead to visit one of our favorite brunch spots. But it was VERY disappointing. More disappointing than the food was the management. Ordered corned beef hash with eggs scrambled soft with chesse. Eggs came scrambled hard with no cheese waiter ordered more took about 5 mins. Corned beef was all fat with little meat so waiter ordered more corned beef, took 15 mins and when waiter came back he apologized that this batch had just as much fat with very little meat. Food was cold by the time it arrived. Asked for manager and she said she could take 50% off entree or make one to go. Unacceptable, reluctant to make things right and never offered an apology.

Yelp
I visited Morningbirds not too long ago on a Saturday morning for brunch with my husband. It was very crowded and busy and my review was flawless, just like the ambiance, our food, service, and overall experience! That day we mentioned how amazing it was to several people where my daughter rides horses and about six came the next morning and also raved about their experience! Well deserved! Now...this week we went back on Tuesday morning after my daughter passed her drivers exam to celebrate. It was about 830am and only one table was occupied. They seated us immediately. I was so excited to celebrate with my daughter at this restaurant with such an eclectic and just 'cool' atmosphere. The service was very lackluster. This is sad because the restaurant was not busy at all. Her personality was not outgoing or vibrant. In a restaurant this nice that is not busy at all service should be better. When I was there last time the manager stopped by several times, spoke with us, and knew our last name. This visit the manager was in the booth at the end on her computer and did not check on us even once. It's definitely room for opportunity and is fixable. Now, lastly, the food.... It was just okay. My meal was called "The Peacock" (I believe). Plenty of food, but eggs were over HARD instead of medium and grits were cold. Pancake was not hot either. That always confuses me. Why does food come out cold when the restaurant is empty? My husband said his corned beef hash was good, but nothing he would get again. My daughter said the cinnamon rolls tasted similar like some I could make from the grocery store (that would've saved me a lot), and when I tried I have to agree. I am a person that politely speaks up, but we just did NOT see our server. It was bad. My husband finally just got his card out so when she did come by in the empty restaurant we could just ask for to-go boxes and pay. I would like to give them another chance but I will not for several reasons: -Many fantastic restaurants just one mile down the road in historic Roswell -I will not risk paying this much (just my brunch item was 31$) to see if it has gotten better or we catch them on a "good" day -Food should be checked for quality for every table, not served cold -Management should be on their toes all the time, whether it is busy or not. We weren't super dressed up, but all customers are important

Yelp
Today was my first time going to this restaurant and all I can say is amazing! It's such a beautiful restaurant and the ambiance is relaxing. The service was exceptional. The manager was very friendly and my server Kayln was not only friendly and polite, she was very knowledgeable about the menu. I selected the catfish and grits, a pancake and the lavender lemonade. The food was very good and the lemonade was delicious. I will definitely let others know about this restaurant and I will be back.

Yelp
Morningirds is a delightful experience all around and I definitely recommend for a nice brunch. The food was elevated, absolutely delicious (and beautifully plated) with a nice depth of flavor. The drinks were really well crafted. Also the portions were generous, staff and service was amazing, and the atmosphere was welcoming, comfortable, and fantastical. In every aspect there was a care and attention to detail to provide a wonderful dining experience. Bonus, the leftovers were just as good!

Yelp
A group of us went here last Sunday to celebrate my sis's b day weekend and it was absolutely amazing. Megan, the manager on duty was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. She also made sure the other customers were well taken care of. Our waitress, Holly, was awesome. Now let's talk about the food. It was amazing. We had grits, eggs, French toast, cinnamon rolls, fried chicken wings, fried shrimp and angeled eyes...omg. So good. Trust and believe this is best Brunch spot in Roswell.

Yelp
We've been twice and had good experiences both times. The first visit was just my wife and I and the second visit was with a party of seven. The food was good both times. I particularly enjoy the pancakes. They make the batter from scratch, so the pancakes reheat well. Another thing I like about the restaurant is that the music isn't too loud, and there's enough fabric and wall coverings to soak up some of the noise. Call me old, but I prefer restaurants where I don't have to raise my voice to be heard.
