Vinnie has great customer service, he hooked me up! Fresh food, nice and hot HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! SOUL FOOD TASTES LOVELY I rather leave 10 stars had baked Cajun chicken dressing Mac n cheese and greens all was phenomenal

I'm giving Morrison's Soul Food a (5 Star) because the food is normally very good. However, yesterday is a (1 Star) for me. I purchased the Oxtail meal and they were too spicy. I know a lot of people love spice. I'm on the side of no spice at all. Customers should be informed a dish is spicy. I could not taste the oxtails over the spiciness of it. Because my mouth was on fire, the whole meal tasted like cayenne pepper. I could not eat my meal and considered it a waste of my money. I've never had spicy food from there and I will ask from this point on. You spice lovers, go for it, but customers should be informed by the restaurant that a food item is spicy and they should not assume everybody love spicy food.

I asked for a super Taco with no tomatoes. Tomatoes were all over the order. The taco meat was badly burnt. The entire order was non edible and disgusting. I also ordered an Oreo shake for $9 dollars and they sent me some type of fruit slushie that I did not want. A total disappointment SMH....

Food was delish and showed up faster than expected. Food was still warm and fresh. Didn’t have all the sides we originally ordered but they called and told us what they had (granted we did order late) and they still turned out great. Would highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be ordering again.

Will never be back or recommend Been very interested in trying this soulful place. The first time I went I thought I couldn't use a card so I left the second time I went back I brought cash ...both times customer service was horrible at 1st. I thought maybe it was just a bad day but after returning the second time I'm certain it's just the customer service. I got Cornish hen and dressing..however the dressing wasn't done so I ended up with mashed potatoes and gravy with Mac and cheese with sweet potatoes...I threw at least 75 percent of the food away total wastes of $28 ... At the time I was there the owner just happened to be in the establishment her customer care and service is horrible..she literally had a baby strapped to her while walking around.

I give honest reviews!!! This was the worst and nastiest soul food I ever had in my life that I couldn't even eat it.... how can u mess up mash potatoes, macaroni and cheese was so salty it almost ran my blood pressure up... meat salty... no flavor just SALT 🧂.... nice looking place tho... but a waste of hard earned money

UPDATED: Sadly it was a mixed bag. I catered my Thanksgiving dinner. The pan of dressing was uncooked and never cooked or browned paid $60 for a small pan, I have a video. I paid $60 for a small pan of Glory Greens I could have gone to Jewels for that. The Mac & Cheese was fine and the Yams were good. Sadly I couldn't call to complain because they never answer the phone and the Mailbox is full where you can't leave a message. Never will I use catering again from Morrison's. Four dishes in extra small pans for $240.00. A manager can call me check my order receipt on 26 or 27 November my number is on it. Please call me! UPDATE: I went to Morrison's today, I found out no refunds. I did ask about the Greens which tasted like Glory Greens which they reassured me that they were freshly cut Greens. Which I apologized for the assumption. Although I did have a bad experience with the Dressing, (she's remaking) I have eaten there in the past and have had pleasant meals and experiences.

I don't understand why the ratings aren't higher. This place is amazing! The food is very well seasoned and the portions are massive. It's l cafeteria style service and seating so nothing fancy but it was good. It is expensive but everything is expensive these days.
