The 20 Essential Memphis Restaurants

"Eddie and Alfred Pao immigrated from Taiwan to the U.S. in 1977, opened Chinese-focused Formosa in Memphis two years later, and built on that success with Mulan in 2005. At Mosa, they tempt Memphians’ taste buds with a range of comfort dishes from Thailand, China, Korea, and Japan. The family-run restaurant regularly wins local dining awards each year for its menu, which is packed with delicious starters like spring rolls and potstickers, as well as signature entrees like Korean barbecue beef (sliced flank steak sauteed in a savory soy glaze with a splash of lime juice). The hot-and-sour soup is a favorite, made from a Pao family recipe that includes tofu, mushrooms, and eggs." - Andy Meek, Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

This place is absolutely incredible! The food is mouthwatering, and the service is top-notch. It’s not my first time here, and I always leave feeling satisfied. The only downside is that it’s a bit of a drive, about 30-40 minutes. I was super excited to come on Monday, but unfortunately it’s closed on Mondays when I’m off work. I’ll have to wait until Tuesday to indulge again. But hey, the food is absolutely AMAZING!!!!! I highly recommend it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely a delight to walk into especially these days. Staff is wonderful they are polite gracious and make you feel special. Got to meet the owner Michelle and her brother, they do such a great job taking care of the community and feeding us all good healthy made from scratch cuisine. Their shrimp pad Thai is to die for it gluten free which is something I look for places offering options. Their soups, salads rice bowls are yummy. You can tell everything is made with love and care. It was really nice getting to know Michelle and felt good to Encourage fellow family opened women owned businesses. Definitely recommend going there if you work or live in this area, you will be delighted. Thanks for all you do Michelle.

Google
I tried this place for the first time yesterday cause of a coworker. I was honestly so impressed with the food that I went today for dinner. The food was hot and fresh and you can tell everything is made to order. I am also impressed that the food isn’t expensive. I got the general pao spicy beef and my husband got the Korean bbq steak. It’s a good place for a cute inexpensive date And the service was great. Everyone there would make a round coming to check and see that everything was fine. And the atmosphere is cute dimly lit with candles on each table. I would definitely come back again.

Google
We went for the dinner and it was late in night, almost close to their closing time. The place was not much packed obviously. The server was sweet. He hurried up as the kitchen was closing but never rushed us. We started with some pan fried dumplings. They were hot, steamy, and good. My husband got some tofu with veggies and I got myself kung pao chicken. Both the dishes were served with steamed rice. The portion size was decent for a single person and the food was hot and fresh. I would return surely.

Google
Got our food quickly, you pay & order at the back counter and they bring your food to the table. Nice quiet atmosphere, tinted windows. Decent portions but lacking in protein amount, and they gave use regular white rice rather than sticky rice. I liked the restaurant, and recommend the Thai tea!

Google
My husband and I absolutely love to done at this place if we are in the mood to have some Asian food. We usually order "Mr Eddie's favorite noodles" and "veggie pad thai noodles with tofu", and must I say that both of these vegetarian dishes are lip smacking good! This place had the best noodles that I've tasted in Memphis yet. That said we did order their basil rolls and a spring roll as starters today. While the spring roll was as you would expect it to taste, I didn't quite enjoy the basil rolls as much as I thought I would. Overall, if you're looking for some great noodle places, this is the place to try!

Google
Amazing dinner! We had a fantastic meal at Mosa tonight. The service was extremely attentive and ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our dinner. The food was delicious and the heat on the beef Szechuan had just the right amount spice. We cannot wait to go back for more! I would highly recommend Mosa.

Google
It's not often that a restaurant checks all the boxes, but Mosa definitely does just that. The atmosphere, the food and the service go miles beyond industry standard at a price that puts others to shame. My family and I decided to make this our final meal before departing Memphis. Though reservations are available, one wasn't needed. However, I would still call ahead to make sure there is seating avaliable before walking in. We ordered the crab cheese wonton for our appetizer. What can I say but that other crab chese wontons I've had have never come close. Perfectly crispy shell and flavorful filling with an amazing sweet and sour sauce to accompany it. I ordered pho for my main course and sweet and sour chicken for my significant other. Both were presented beautifully, piping hot and perfectly cooked. The pho had such a vivid flavor and the portion was enormous. It has easily stolen the spot as my favorite meal I've ever eaten. The other main of sweet and sour chicken was mouth-watering as well. Well trimmed, crispy chicken drizzled with a flavorful and well-made sauce. The side of white rice was presented well and was perfectly cooked. All of that leads to a perfect meal, but the staff pushed that bar even higher. Everyone was so attentive and cheerful that we felt like royalty. I cannot stress this enough, if you are deciding where to eat, stop reading and start driving to Mosa immediately.

Yelp

Yelp
This place is just amazing. They make their own sauces and have a ton, they get their bread from a local bakery and it's so good it was my favorite part of the sliders. The Korean BBQ is the meat they use. The bread and meat didn't mix well together for me but I could still tell it was high quality food. The Yuan Bao Soup is amaze-balls! I want it next time I come (and you can bet on it I will be returning). It's similar to a wonton soup but tastier. I love Asian Fusion and it works really well here. Mr. Eddie's Favorite Noodles has amazing chicken at max spicy but the noodles were kinda meh that time. I need to try it again to see. Special Note: The spring rolls have meat in them. You can order them vegetarian but they automatically come with meat. I haven't seen that option elsewhere so I wanted to note it for vegetarians. When I ordered it the manager actually mentioned it which is good because my roommate is vegetarian and was getting it. To Try: Mr. Eddie's Favorite Chicken Wonton Crab and Cheese Bites Rainbow Panang Curry Chicken Red Asian Curry General Pao's Appetizer: Mosa Spring Roll (vegetarian) Loved: - Appetizer: Chicken Lettuce Wraps - Appetizer: Mosa Spring Roll (regular) - Drink: Barefoot Chardonnay - Korean BBQ Beef (white rice) - Noodles: Mosa Pad Thai (NEW FAV) - Noodles: Mr. Eddie's Favorite Vegetarian, No Spice - Sauce: Homemade Hot Sauce (have to ask for) - Slider: Asian Beef (hubby fav) - Soup: Hot and Sour - Soup: Yuan Bao Ok: - Appetizer: Basil Spring Roll - Korean BBQ Beef (brown rice) - Mandarin Kung Pao - Noodles: Mr. Eddie's Favorite Chicken (Max Spicy) Disliked: - Drink: Champagne - Soup: Wonton - Thai Rainbow Chicken - Thai Rainbow Shrimp

Yelp
Have been there several times over the years and I just noticed I'd not submitted a review. With other family members we've had quite a representative sample of their menu, though my recent visit was confined to the Hot and Sour soup and lettuce wraps. Both consistently pretty good. Not sure if this is a can't-miss Chinese spot, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Not much ambiance - it's clean with orderly tables. Service has always been good-to-great, and the prices are very good.

Yelp
It has been awhile as my last review was not favorable. So I stayed away. Mosa was once my favorite go to for the basic fried rice, spring rolls, and cream cheese crab wontons. Not anymore and I will not return. The fried rice tasted as if was cooked in a burnt wok, the spring rolls were rolling in oil...making the them limp and tasteless, the wontons were burnt as well. Looking forward to tasty appetizers I ordered some steamed dumplings...very dry Meh. I ordered a small cup of hot and sour soup...it was mostly broth. Please improve. Unfortunately I tossed it out of anger before thinking to post a picture. What waste of $34.

Yelp
Used to be a favorite place. We placed an order for dine in. Took quite a while to get and they bagged it and dropped the bag on the table. So we left with our order. We ordered 2 meals, sweet and sour chicken and Penang curry. There was only one small box of rice not enough for two. The curry was ordered spicy but wasn't spiced at all and the vegetables were undercooked. The sweet and sour sauce was practically water and chicken had undercooked pieces. We definitely won't be returning.

Yelp
Love this place. I believe they have the best hot and sour soup that I've had anywhere. Their Pad Thai is also incredible. They also have great service and care about their food quality. I'll definitely be back when I'm in Memphis again.

Yelp
Eh, I was between 3 and 4 stars for this place. We came for dinner during the week and were seated quickly. After that point is when the service went way down. They definitely care more about their Togo orders than their dine in. After about 15 min our waiter took our order (we asked for drinks and food because we were already hungry). The food was average. The one thing that was perfect was their spice level. A true medium with a bit of a kick on everything. Hot and sour dumplings: decent. You can tell they are made there which I enjoyed. Cucumber salad: good, a bit sweet, but fresh and crunchy Pad see u: big portion of noodles, but lacked anything else. Minimal flavor other than spice Rainbow Padang curry: not right. As someone who loves Padang curry, this was not good at all. Chucked was over breaded, sauce was thick like mayo and lacked curry flavor. I wish they would call this dish something else, because it was not a curry. Thai iced tea: delicious. Definitely the best thing there. Flavorful and not too sweet at all. I'd come back just for tea to go.

John F.

Yelp
Mongolian beef was plain and hardly worth eating. No utensils provided or napkins. Rainbow Thai Curry was good.

Yelp
Really waffled between a 2 star and a 3 star here, but my family in Memphis says they really like this place, so I'll settle on a 3 and just say maybe I missed something or got unlucky. Came here with my aunt and parents when we stopped overnight in Memphis last Sunday. There's a spacious parking lot and the restaurant itself is quite large, so we had no problems getting in. They weren't especially busy when we visited. First thing's first: it was COLD in there! I'm perpetually hot and even I was a little chilly; my poor parents and aunt were freezing! The restaurant also feels a little empty and bare decor-wise. Seating was kind of confusing. My aunt, who's visited before, anticipated ordering at the counter. We received conflicting information from two different staff members on how to proceed. After standing around for a couple minutes in limbo, someone finally told us they'd seat us and take our order at our table. They did, but disjointed service was kind of the theme for the night. Different people seating us, taking orders, checking in, etc. Our most commonly seen waiter was a bit of an odd duck; he had a slightly off putting sense of humor. It wasn't terrible, but just sort of strange. Lots of young college student types working here, so I guess I'll chalk it up to nerves or inexperience. We ordered lettuce wraps and potstickers as apps. My parents split Mr. Eddie's favorite noodles, my aunt got the Taiwanese lo mein, and I had chicken pad see ewe. As you can gather from our order, this is a pan-Asian / Asian fusion type of restaurant, and there's probably something for everyone here, considering they have Chinese, Thai, Korean, and Vietnamese dishes on the menu. I just wasn't very impressed with the food. The chicken lettuce wraps were probably the best thing, about equal to what you'd get at PF Chang's before it went off the rails. The potstickers were a little greasy and didn't have a ton of flavor but the dipping sauce was good. I think the best main dish was probably Mr. Eddie's noodles; I stole a bite of that and it was decent. My pad see ewe that I ordered medium had no heat at all to my palate, and was mostly just noodles. Maybe two or three pieces of broccoli. A decent amount of chicken, I guess, but it was unbearably tough, to the point that I didn't hardly eat any of it. It was pretty disappointing. Lastly, my Thai tea wasn't sweet enough to suit my preferences. They have a very large menu and I think the prices are reasonable. Service wasn't unpleasant, just a little unorganized and unpolished. Food was a mixed bag, but I do think my folks ordered better than I did. If I wind up coming back with family the next time I'm in town, I'll try something different.

Yelp
Unabashed American-style Chinese food. And ain't nothing wrong with that. This place is a serious step up from say a Panda Express, but the concept is very similar. The restaurant isn't much to look at, but the service was friendly and speedy. But overall, if we were in the area we'd probably opt for delivery. If you like American-style Chinese food then this place is for you.

Yelp
YUM!! We ordered Chicken lettuce wrap- I just wish they gave us a few more lettuce for the chicken. The chicken was delicious ! Very savory. Def recommend ! The general pao's was one of the best I've had in a while. There were like 5 jumbo pieces of chicken and the sauce was sweet and spicy. I thought it was the perfect amount. The mr Eddie noods was super good. A bit plain some might say, but I loved it! The chicken was crispy ish. The sauce for the noods was nothing I've had before. The combination was yummy!! Would definitely recommend this place. Service was fast, staff was Uber nice!

Yelp
We were in town visiting and wanted take out and it did not disappoint. My kids said it was some of the best Asian they've had!

Bradley H.

Yelp
I usually give much kinder reviews than this, but...ONE star. The food was unimaginative, not warm enough, and tasted as if it were re-heated and came from a plastic bag. Service was "adequate," with all the faint praise that word conveys, and slower than should be the case in a nearly empty restaurant. The ambience is a little "mechanical" and hardly oriental. Thoroughly disappointing. I can see no reason we'd ever return.
google avatar

Yelp
Worst experience ever - slow ordering and then they "lost" our order and took an additional 15 min waiting (20 minutes already) after that to get it - tried the Panang Veggie Curry - huge mistake - globby sweet mess. Could not eat it. Asked to get rice noodles on side and happy to pay for it - manager was not al all accomodating - tried to order a replacement meal - Pad Se Ew since another my daughter got that one and it was ok - never came and my two companions were done - so we paid and left = no apology - and then went home to make a separate dinner. Huge bummer as past visits over the years were so much better.

Yelp
Dinner was amazing!!! We loved Mosa! The service was very attentive, dinner was delicious and the atmosphere was welcoming.

Yelp
Amazing food & great service! This spot has become a staple for my work week! You can always rely on the "Mr. Eddies Favorite" noodles.

Yelp
Great service. Food is high quality. This is my family's default Chinese place. We miss the original Formosa, so we're glad for Mosa.

Yelp
Let me tell you. We barely spoke from the moment we took our first bite. We only stopped to tell each other how delicious the food is. It's THAT GOOD! I love me some Mosa Asian Bistro and they haven't missed a beat in the pandemic. The food is perfectly seasoned and tastes so clean. The portions are enough for two meals. They have one of the easiest curbside pickup experiences to date. The packaging was tight and didn't fall over in the car. LOL In addition to the Spring Roll and Wonton Soup, we ordered Chicken Lettuce Wraps and the Three Seasoned Shrimp entree. The last time I went, I had the Potstickers and my eyes rolled into the back of my head. They also have an unusually amazing dessert menu with to-die-for cupcakes, cheesecakes and chocolate covered strawberries. Who knew? FYI, you can order online, and they deliver. Speaking of sweet, the owner is so nice! She mentioned they're renovating before they reopen. If you are a fan of Asian cuisine, you really cannot live in Memphis without a stop at Mosa Asian Bistro.

Yelp
Friendly staff and good service. Would recommend!! Pad See Ew: Well-flavored with right amount of spice. Chicken was slightly overcooked but overall would recommend. Best dish I had. Rainbow Shrimp: Good flavor, right amount of batter and crisply fried. Panang Curry: Tangy with a sweet undertone; perfect consistency of curry and paired well with sticky rice. Lo Mein Tofu: Pretty standard. Not bad, not great.

Yelp
Food is great. Made with fresh ingredients and it shows. Nice location and great curbside service.

Yelp
Dined in for the first time (have gotten Carey out several times). It was busy but service was quick! I had the won ton soup and Rainbow Panang Curry to try something new. The curry was delicious! Definitely coconut flavors but not over whelming if you don't love coconut. It was even better left over the next day. My husband got the hot and sour soup (excellent) and Mongolian beef. He said it was delicious and the beef had a great flavor. He got it hot for spice level and said it wasn't too overwhelming. Highly recommend Mosa to anyone!
google avatar

Gavin K.

Yelp
Always love eating at Mosa or getting takeout! The flavors are amazing, and staff is friendly. Nice selection on the menu, and you can customize the "hotness" of each dish - mild, medium, hot, etc. Parking is easy in their lot, and they run an effecient curbside pickup. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Sarah-Grace H.

Yelp
they have gf options! Went one night while we were in town to grab take out. Only reason for loss of star is they made the wrong dish gf but they did label it so luckily i did get to eat. Pretty extensive menu!
google avatar

Sam C.

Yelp
A local family-owned favorite! Just close your eyes and pick something on the menu- you'll be happy. There are tons of vegetarian and vegan-friendly options. The staff is so friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is cozy. Pro Tip: don't say you want your food spicy unless you reeeeaaallly enjoy spice- they can bring it! I love spicy food and generally get medium.

Yelp
my favorite asian restaurant in memphis! i've been coming here for over 3 years and have never had a disappointing experience. the pad see ew is my favorite, and i can't recommend it enough. the staff is also always friendly. this last time i went, i forgot my leftovers and one of the workers ran them out to the parking lot while it was raining to make sure i got them!
google avatar

Tiffany J.

Yelp
I had an awesome experience at Mosa! The food and service was amazing. During lunch hours, you can walk up to the counter to order you food for a speedier process. This is good for those who have to return to work in a timely manner. The food was so good. I started out with the hot and sour soup. It comes with the wonton chips. I would definitely recommend this menu item. Then I had the crab and cheese wonton bites...OMG I loved them. They come in a serving of either 4 or 6. You have to try them as well. For my main course, I had the Potstickers. They were stuffed with chicken and veggies. I had them steamed. They were really good as well. Next time, I think I am to try the pan fried. The food and vibe is really great! Try them out!
google avatar

Trenika M.

Yelp
Mosa has easily become one of my favorite restaurants! It's my go to lunch spot actually! I always receive quick and friendly service and my food is always good! Some of my favorites are the Broccoli with garlic sauce, teriyaki, and spring rolls! I can never order an entrée without getting those spring rolls! I also love that they still have curbside as a pick up option! Curbside makes to go ordering even easier! I call in my order while enroute and by the time I park my order is ready!
google avatar

Hallie F.

Yelp
Mosa is consistently fantastic, fresh full-flavored food, served by knowledgeable and charming staff. I have eaten at Mosa monthly for over a decade and I cannot recommend it highly enough! The Mr Eddie's noodles are delicious as is the hot and sour wonton appetizer (although the crab Rangoon is likewise always delicious )! If you haven't tried this spot, you won't be disappointed - freshest and best Asian you can get in the city.
google avatar

Mary Nell T.

Yelp
Always a good experience at Mosa! Family owned and operated, large portions and delicious. Highly recommend!

Cloey M.

Yelp
I love mosa! I usually order take out and my order is always correct and always hot! I love their kung pao shrimp and pan fried potstickers (I ask for a side of hot sauce and add it to both--very flavorful!!) They have a huge selection and what I have tried, it is all super yummy!

Yelp
So I was really craving Pad See Ew and I saw Mosa had some. I was soaked! I got to fill my craving and try a new restaurant! I called to place an order; Pad See Ew and some crab cheese wontons. She said sure, see you in 15-20 mins. Perfect. I ran to the store to get a couple things then headed over to Mosa. The parking lot was super busy. I think everyone wanted something warm in their tummy's with the cold weather we've been having. Plenty of spots to park, but the couple take out specific parking spots were all filled up. Once I parked I called the restaurant to let them know I had arrived. She said it should be out within 5 mins. Not too bad. When the lady came out to bring my food and grab the money I couldn't have been more excited! Once I got home I threw everything on the table and opened up my box. I looked at my food real funny, thinking huh I don't remember Pad See Ew having lots of peanuts on it.. and I thought the noodles were larger and fatter? I almost thought "Hey, maybe this is their take on Pad See Ew?" But I looked back at the menu and it most definitely was Pad Thai. I was so bummed! I wanted to splurge and get dinner out and unfortunately it wasn't what I hoped it was going to be. Although it wasn't the dish I wanted, it was a good Pad Thai. It could have used a little more sauce, but overall flavorful. 100% would get the crab cheese wontons again. They were the right amount of crunch and softness. If you order over the phone maybe have them say your order back to you or reiterate it, because getting something other than what you wanted to order is not ideal. :)

Laura R.

Yelp
The atmosphere is lacking, short staffed and the food was just mediocre. We probably won't go back.
google avatar

Adriana R.

Yelp
It's a pretty hidden place, but overall experience was great. I got the pad thai shrimp, and it was different from other places i've gone. It has a unique twist to it. Would recommend if you like exploring and have never been here!
google avatar

Rogers J.

Yelp
It was a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was not busy. However, we did see a lot of to-go orders while we were there. Order my usual General Pao and it was better than usual. My wife had the Pho and she really enjoyed it. Kudos to the Mosa Asian Bistro Team for consistently good food and service.
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
I went here for dinner tonight for the first time. I'm not a huge fan of places where you order and sit down but take it how you will. I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and the pad thai with chicken. The lettuce wraps were awesome- so yummy- but I should have counted the amount of lettuce because i unfilled the first wrap and overfilled the last three. The pad thai was fine- I didn't love it- it was bit too saucy- it wasn't bad but I don't think I'd order it again. I wish they had reusable cups- not a fan of using styrofoam for my glass of water. The silverware was reuseable. I also wish I hadn't had to get up and ask for a box since I was ignored twice but the person wiping tables. I also am pretty sure I'd wipe the tables before putting silverware out. And people are right, the floor is very sticky. Decent dinner but not sure if I will be back.

Yelp
Wow! I haven't been to Mosa in a long time. I needed some takeout Asian food as I was heading into work that night, and I knew, when in doubt, go Asian! The portions are a good size and the food is terrific. I ordered the pan fried potstickers. Normally I get them steamed, but while the wife is away, the husband will play. The potstickers were succulent pillows filled with pork and seasoning. When dipped in the sweet, yet tangy potsticker sauce, I had the perfect bite. 5 come to an order, and my only "critique" is they increase it to six so World War 3 doesn't begin over "who gets the last potsticker". They weren't overly greasy, but I will say, they did soften a bit since I ordered them to-go. That's my sacrifice, and not a result of their cooking. I ordered Ed's Favorite Noodles with beef and Mongolian beef (my favorite) with no rice. The noodles, thinner than a Lo Mein, but so delicate. The flavor wasn't too salty, the seasoning on point. I ordered a Mild-Medium spice level, and next time, I will ask for medium. The beef was tender, not chewy, and cut into chunks versus strips of beef that evaporate in the wok. Right out of the box, it was the perfect fork bite of food. The leftovers It reheated nicely at the office, and the smells....OMG. Mongolian Beef - don't order this if you don't like onions. There's quite a bit in there which is fine for me. Again, the sauce has a perfect balance of saltiness, the ginger is perfect. It doesn't overpower the dish, it doesn't burn (if that's a concern of yours) but just has a nice mouthfeel. That too reheated nicely at the office. In fact, I combine both the noodles and beef together (after reheat) and that was an award winning combo! Takeout is easy. Order online or call ahead. They bring it to your car. Remember the classic Chinese food "box" containers? If not, watch Seinfeld, Friends, or any other quintessential New York show, and you'll know what I'm talking about. The problem with using the "old style" boxes was they had a metal carrying handle. Well, Mosa found a distributed that has beefed up the materials of said box, so it retains heat better AAAAAND, no metal handle. So reheat away without blowing up your microwave. I can't wait to go back. I live 20 minutes away from this place, and we will make the trek to order out again.

Yelp
Still great after all these years. Mosa has found a model that deals effectively with Covid but still makes a good fine experience. Well prepared. Delicious but not overpowering. Dine in or take out.
google avatar

Jack B.

Yelp
Good for a quick pick up order. But the classic Thai noodle dishes are not out of this world. Though I should try other dishes in their menu to confirm, only had 2 so far.

Yelp
In my reviews, I'll sometimes mention that I'll be back. Well, kept my word by returning to Mosa 3 days after my recent visit. I was unsure about the Singapore Noodles. But I made an excellent choice with the Mr. Eddie's Favorite Noodles on my return visit. I looked at a video review on Facebook to make my decision. Of course I was intrigued since "favorite" was in the name. From there, I placed my order online and then drove over to Mosa for the pickup. Once I arrived, I was promptly checked on via their curbside pickup. The food was brought out within minutes of the quoted time. Once I got home, the temperature of the food was very hot. The portion size was ample and so chocked full of veggies and large pieces of chicken. I considered saving half for later. But I splurged and ate the entire container. I'd totally recommend this. My husband isn't adventurous and always requests chicken fried rice. He was pleased with his order too.

Yelp
Only got takeaway so can't really speak to the service or the inside dining experience. I got the pad Thai and honestly it was just super super sweet. A bit of a different flavor then other pad Thai I've had. Our Thai iced teas on the other hand tasted less sweet then what they normally do. I just think the flavors were kind of "off" in what we ordered. Nothing outstanding but fine for Asian food. Servings were generous.

Yelp
My first visit and the restaurant and ambiance is great. The food is amazing ad well as the wait staff and owner. My waitress, Taylor, did an amazing job. She was very nice very professional. There will future visits to come.

Yelp
I love supporting local and loved Mosa for a long time but the quality just isnt there anymore. Second time to order and the Pad Thai was so mushy we did not eat and the fried rice was burnt tasting (also did not eat much of). Again, I love supporting this family but I cant after several bad meals.

Yelp
Came here for lunch take out and service was exceptional! They packaged it perfectly so nothing wasted. My Thai Curry dish was tasty but I wouldn't pay $6 for the side salad again (it was too small and just not worth it, honestly, although it was yummy). I would definitely go back and try other things. Very nice atmosphere indeed!

Yelp
Great food, I love the concept and Mosa typically has better food than most quick Asian place in the area.. Wound up getting the Schzuan Shrimp and an spring roll..

Yelp
Lunch is fabulous. A good time to go. All I get here is the wonton soup. A warm clear broth with loads of onions and wontons. Not overly salty or thick. So this is a favorite for me this is all I buy here but I should order more to be able to review other dishes. The staff is excellent checking on you and help with loading up to-go...

Yelp
Wonderful place. I was craving Pho today while at work. Popped over and ordered and it was delicious! Service was fast and space was very open. I will be back again regularly. Sad I haven't tried this place sooner.

Yelp
Been going to this place for years!! And easily one of my favorite Asian restaurants in Memphis! Whether you want a quick lunch or a good place to eat for dinner this place has your back! My favorite dishes here are the Pad Thai and the Niew Rou Mein! But honestly I've never had a bad dish here no matter what I've ordered. Definitely give this place a try you won't regret it!

Yelp
I'm it's 100th review. How sweet! I think the food is pretty good here. I've enjoyed almost everything I've had. I think the quality of the food meets the price point and I believe the ownership is involved and concerned for the most part. Friends that I know that frequent here really get behind the place. The hot and sour soup is pretty on point. I ate every drop and I can't stand tofu. I consumed all the tofu in this cup without even using all the crispy things provided. This is a feat in it's own right for Fat__Adam. I dig the crab won tons here. They are just right. They didn't come with any sauce but I dunked them in the Thai Chili sauce they have and it was really good. Calamari is a dish that can go really well or really poor. Theirs is right in the middle. I'm not sure why anyone would serve a mayo based sauce with squid but ok. I'm anti-mayo anyway. Prob just me. Fried rice dishes I've had in the past are pretty good. I've only been here a few times. Here's to my 3 star verdict. This place is set up to be "pay at the counter, quick service". It should remain this way! There is a self serve bev station. There is an order taking register at the counter. It's totally designed this way! Why change??? My last visit went like this.... Walked in...no one to greet me...walked to the order counter... Told to go back up front...go back...wait...get a seat...wait...get a drink...wait...watch my sever grovel to a table pissed...wait...place my order...watch my server get behind, more apologies...get my food in segments (cool)...EAT...ask for check...present Yelp $2 soup coupon on my phone...madness...she has to verify its real, with taking my phone nonetheless (as if I, or, anyone is into digitally making countdown $2 coupons to rip off businesses)...comes back, no manager present...she has to call her to verify...wait...wait... She comes back and this is what she says. "You were right, there is a special". Hmmm. Not real, was there really a question? Here is where it gets funny... My bill is $12.02. I give her $20.10. She returns and presents me with $7.07 in change. What? She shorted me $1.01! Why? Insist on counter service! Make it right! My check says; Host: Patrick H. Cashier: Faith.
