Opened in Oct 2019, MOSA definitely has a clean, newness about it that's a cross between rustic and chic. Has a small outdoor seating area.
Overall, the restaurant was good, but would I recommend it? TBD. Newness is still obvious with the kitchen.
Opposite the first reviewer's experience, ours had an attentive and engaged waitress with solid food advice, recommendations, and personality. She was the star of the evening.
I had the pappardelle ($24.50), which looked appetizing (picture attached) but was uneven in temperature (some bites were cool and others were piping hot) with stick-to-your-teeth al dente pasta. Overall, just plain meh for the price. Guessing they might have had it under a food lamp.
One of my dining partners had the angel hair pasta ($22) and raved about it, my other had the Scottish Salmon ($24.50) and said it lacked enough flavor. We shared the
Heirloom Tomato Caprese ($13) and was not quite sure what to make of it. The crostini was really crunch and the burrata pretty runny. I would likely skip unless they change the bread or mash this up with the Panini appetizer. This was tasty for sharing indeed.
Overall, my colleague summed it up best. As a new place, it's memorable, but otherwise, "meh." A lot of notes hitting right though, so perhaps they'll get ther. Keep an open mind.
Meal for 3 was around $120.
