Highly recommend the Sucker Punch and pretzels. Great service, especially at the bar. Friendly staff. They have a lot of options to drink, don't miss out on the can/Bottle selections. Seasonal drinks are great especially in winter, they have a good mulled cider. Whiskey Wednesdays too

We love Mosaic - such a gem in the neighborhood! Staff is a hardworking group of professional, friendly, and talented mixologists. Go early or make a reservation because it does get busy. Love the chill vibe and drink variety/creativity. Great place for a quick bite or to relax with friends or a date. Or take a seat at the bar and enjoy a conversation with Lisa, Amos, or Liam - kind people who are welcoming and fun!

Lisa, Liam, and Amos are hilarious, talented, and helpful! The atmosphere here is such a vibe. Drinks are amazing! My favorite drink to start or after dinner is the chai martini. So good! Cool seating and great AC. Sometimes even on a Friday night my friends and I go play board games at the table and drink before it gets too busy! Definitely a must when visiting Astoria.

They were busy on a Saturday afternoon (rightly so) but was able to accommodate our group of 4 without a reservation. The interior is cozy, staff is friendly, and drinks were excellent. Highly recommend the French lavender for something fresh and gin-based, or the chocolate mezcal for something Smokey and a little heavier on the palate. The spinach dip was fantastic and we scooped up every last bit; deviled eggs was a bit heavy on the mustard. All in all, a pleasant experience.

A great craft beer bar to grab a delicious beers. They have a couple of beers on tap and many bottles & cans available. Unfortunately they don't offer flights, it would be nice to be able to try more different beers. The atmosphere was great and the staff kind. We had a great time here and would definitely come again.

I have never felt so compelled to leave a review. This place is amazing for cozy sit and talk or be at bar. The bartender Lisa was sooooooo good to us. Not only she help me pick my selection but also with the food, completely so good! This is what deserves a great tip and the satisfaction of giving the tip. Oh man, let me tell u think the quality of drinks and food were very high. Ever tasted a beer? My friend said she’s the richest beer she ever tasted. Woah, atleast my experience was amazing and I had a great time there. I felt welcomed, what else do you know. 100% going there

Variety of cocktails from $14-18. They have so many options so you will definitely find something you like. I really loved the mosaic punch! This is a place with great vibes and lots of seating indoor and outdoor!

Came here into this little neighborhood place.Very beautiful decor.Sat at the bar and the bartender gave no hello or acknowledgement towards me.I sat there for over five minutes and then he comes over and says "what do you want ?" I said to him hello,how are you.He seemed annoyed and said fine.I said great I'll have a beer.Put it down without saying a word.Took my money and didn't say a word.I ordered another beer and the same thing.This bartender is not an asset to this place.he's to high on attitude.Not good for a neighborhood place

So for the cocktails, ambiance, and service I give this place 5 stars. Cocktails are about $14 but are made with care. I really loved the pear necessities and the French 75. I agree with others, this isn't a place for food, but nice that they have some bar food. My friend loved the artichoke flatbread. We also had olives and spinach/artichoke dip. We loved everything except the tortilla chips with the spinach artichoke dip, they seemed broken and from a bag Everything else was 100 including our bartender who was super nice. Great vibes and at night the place looks spectacular. It definitely gives off speak easy vibes.

This place is a gem among a very busy borough of bars and lounges. I went with a girlfriend in February to catch up. I had first come here over eight years ago; l was so happy it's just as quiant as I remembered it. Service was quite nice too. I will definitely come back soon.

Recently celebrated my birthday here and reserved a small seating area. The deviled eggs, soft pretzels, and flatbread were all amazing, but what really stood out to me was the service. My group of 10 was never without drinks, and the staff went out of there way to make my birthday a memorable and special night. Highly recommend for anyone looking a place to celebrate!

I found this on Yelp from all the good reviews. I would say that it was a great spot to get cocktails and wine and beer. I see couples, groups of friends, and dates. It has music at a reasonable level for conversation. I love seeing the red walls with damask drapes and hanging mirrors. It has an intimate sexy vibe. They have some food, but not a lot. The staff were helpful, but not intrusive. I recommend the cocktails here. I was amazed by the staff, when I booked a reservation. Someone personally wrote me a personal message offering bottle service and ways to prepare for my birthday drinks event. Very nice touch! I would definitely return.

Really great spot with a chill ambiance and pretty good food and drinks. We snacked on the spinach and artichoke dip, it was so good we got a second order. We also got their cheese plate and empanadas. Empanadas were good but the pastry tasted store bought/frozen. Cheese plate was alright, could use better selections of cheeses and meat but overall we loved it here. Service was friendly and it is definitely cute for dates.

Did you know Mosaic is celebrating 11 years? I most certainly did not. As a first time visitor, I can see why they've been around! Staff are the best sort of nice, fine, chill lot. Interior decor perfect for lounging and having deep conversations over delicious cocktails. All in all, a lovely local hole in wall drinks spot that I will be back for!

I came in to try some craft gin cocktails and they didn't disappoint! The ambience of the bar was amazing as well. I went as soon as they opened so it wasn't packed. But by the time I left the place, it was starting to fill up. As well as the bartender receiving numerous calls for reservations. And I can totally see why. I would totally come here again.

I threw a dart at a wall and found this place. So fantastic. Extensive offering of lovely whiskeys. And the bartender really knows his shit. So comfortable. The perfect date night bar. But if you want to scream at a television while you're fans and team wins whatever tournament they're playing don't come here. And we'll be glad you didn't.

The Yelp reviews definitely drew me into this gem in the heart of Astoria- so thank you fellow yelpers! The bartenders at Mosqic are all knowledgeable and can make a mean cocktail! Their cocktail menu has something for everyone on it. I got two tequila based drinks that were both phenomenal. Also, the prices are great! This has very Speakeasy vibe with great decor and vintage comfy couches. Although it is not a huge bar I actually prefer it this way- more intimate. The crowd was also very friendly and I ended up having a fantastic night. Will definitely save this and recommend it to my friends!

Ugh. I'm sorry to the people in the service industry who have to deal with people wanting to have full out conversations with them while they're making six to seven 9-ingredient cocktails. Add onto this the necessity of checking vaccination status and IDs at the door without burning a flatbread. Somehow, the bartenders here at Mosaic (even the tall ones) still manage to laugh at my lame banter, and because they are busy AF, I am pleased to report here that I've found other ways of entertaining myself at Mosaic. I'll list them in case anyone else needs a hand: 1. Drinking my damn drink. I know--who would have guessed that this is key in enjoying myself at a bar?! It's quite fabulous. 2. Getting to know other bar patrons. Sure, at times people want to be left alone (don't we all?), but one fabulous thing about the bar is that sometimes people are more than happy to chat, and if not, you can just go back to #1 and drink your drink! Win-win! 3. Invite a friend who may be more inclined/morally obligated to talk to you. I know. This one shocked me as well, but it turns out that I do have friends who also like bars, and when we frequent them together, it's quite a nice time. Finally, to anyone following the saga of the other Yelp reviewer who had such a hard time talking to the bartender on Thursday, Dec. 16th, I just want to point out that 1. The bar was closed that day. See pic for receipt. 2. The bartender didn't give this person the time of day but somehow managed to pour them a glass of wine? I'm pretty sure that's all he's obligated to do. Did I miss something? Mosaic, thank you for staying open and providing a lovely atmosphere to get drunk and have a nice time in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

My local watering hole and cocktail lounge. The decor is very gothic; almost vampiric ‍. The walls are red and there are mirrors everywhere to spot if you have a reflection . Besides that, the drinks are excellente. My favorite is a classic, Viexe Carre. Cheers

I can't drink alcohol so I really appreciate and shout out businesses mindful of customers needs. Their mock tail selection has a drink I really like (flower power) and so I can hang out with friends and they can choose the crafty cocktail selection and I can enjoy their mocktails win win!

Super cool interior aesthetic with delicious drinks. Thankful for my local friend who brought me. And the Halloween accessories complemented the vibe so well. Cantaloupe moon was a sweet and fruity selection. The fig drink had a strong ginger beer taste. These will go for $13 - $14. The ambience was energetic on a weekday. Snag a couch spot if you can and enjoy.

I had the most appalling experience at mosaic bar last night. My best friend and I were kicked out by the bartender with the long beard due to his blatant xenophobia and sexual discrimination. It was one of the most humiliating experiences of our lives. The bartender made derogatory comments about my friend's ethnicity and made obscene remarks about our sexual orientation as he even question who we were and what we were up to when my friend went to the bathroom. It was clear that he was uncomfortable with our presence, and he made it his mission to make us feel unwelcome. When we tried to confront the bartender about his behavior, he became a pure Karen asking us to leave the bar after having one single drink and atlas of water. We were left with no choice but to leave, feeling violated and humiliated. I would strongly advise against visiting this establishment. The staff are clearly not trained in basic human decency, and the environment is toxic and unwelcoming. If you value your dignity and respect, stay far away from this place.

I recently visited this establishment with my best friend, hoping to enjoy a nice drink and some food. However, our experience was absolutely terrible. After only finishing our first drink, we were kicked out for no reason at all. It was only 8 PM in the morning, and there were hardly any customers in the place. We were shocked and confused as to why we were being treated this way. To make matters worse, we suspect that the reason we were kicked out was due to racism and xenophobia. The waiter who rushed us out to take another table after KICKING the first waiter we had in first place, was incredibly rude and unwelcoming, despite us being paying customers. And the quiche guy with gray beard who was serving us was equally unhelpful and unprofessional. We received no explanation for why we were being asked to leave, and we were treated with utter disrespect. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The staff is clearly intolerant and unwelcoming to people from different backgrounds. Do yourself a favor and avoid this establishment at all costs.

Lovely cocktail bar. Very creative drinks. I got the James & The Giant Peach because I'm not afraid of rhinos. Everything was delicious, the staff was really helpful. Always there when we needed them. Waited for nothing. Really great vibe inside, full of victorian furniture.

I discovered this spot during quarantine when bars were doing to-go drinks. I would get mai-tais to bring to the park and oh my god I've never had such a great drink in a plastic solo cup. Since restaurants and bars have re-opened, I've been back a bunch of times and look forward to trying a new cocktail every time. It's a great place to venture out of your liquor comfort zone because every single drink is delicious. The staff is also super nice. Always have a great experience!!

The service was great, attentive and pleasant people. They have outdoor space and heaters, but i find the decor indoors to be vintage chic. The cocktails are really good with many interesting choices. Wish more bar bites were available.

I hosted my birthday there with a group of 25 and the entire staff was very friendly and accommodating even with a second large party there at the same time as us. I set the party up with the bar manager, Bryan, and he was great to work with. We had a blast. Thank you to the whole staff for everything!

It was a very cool spot. We liked the Decor and the Drinks were very good. We didn't stay till the evening so we didn't experience the music but we definitely will be back.

Delightful ambience. Corner spot on a charming pocket of Queens block features sumptuous seating inside and great music. Solid selection. I loved the mulled cider. So delicious!

My friend and I stopped by for drinks before dinner on a Saturday recently. Loved that it wasn't crowded at all and they had plenty of seating available. Loved the vibes of this cocktail bar too. It was fancy but also made us feel really comfortable at the same time. They also had great drinks. There is something for everyone. Really enjoyed the Violet Fizz I got. I don't come to Astoria often, but Mosaic definitely makes me want to visit more!

We sat in their outdoor dining and had a few drinks. I had a glass of their rose to start. Their ones by the glass offering was a bit limited thought their beer and whiskey options were quite more varied. They had ten beers on Draper with a focus on craft. Lots of solid whiskeys as well. After the wine, I decided to halve a glass of the old Fitzgerald 14 year whiskey which was pricey but well worth it. Service was attentive. It's in a less busy part of Astoria so you're still close to a lot of stuff but don't have a significant amount of traffic passing by.

I enjoyed the vibe of this place! The seating inside feels cozy sitting on Victorian-style couches and chairs around a table. There are cool lamps and chandeliers around the room. There's also outdoor seating but we wanted to get out of the heat (and sit on the cool purple velvet Victorian lounger! ) The cocktails here were delicious. I tried the "Fig-et about it" and "Fig-ment of your imagination" the first one was my favorite! We also got the pretzel sticks with beer cheese which were very tasty. The bartender was very friendly and helpful!

Great bar with great beer selection. You can check what they have on tap thru Untappd app. Every time I come here, I have to order their artichoke dip to go along with my beer. The bartender, Logan is really friendly. Cool décor!!!!

My favorite bar in Astoria - so good that I went for Friday night drinks and I went back the next day for Saturday day drinking. The best bartenders (Amos makes fantastic versions of their signature Strawberry Fields cocktail (Spring 44 vodka, Bonal, fresh lime juice, muddled cucumber & strawberry) and Moscow Mules (very refreshing). They also have amazing cheese plates served with fresh bread topped with olive oil and herbs - night 1 we ordered burrata with balsamic glaze and fresh basil, manchego sheep cheese, and prosciutto, and today we had the goat cheese with honey and sliced almonds, manchego, and genoa salami. They also have a wide high-quality beer selection, which all of my friends throughly enjoyed. Definitely will be back - maybe I'll even make this my regular Astoria spot for when I visit NY.

Visited Mosaic Craft Cocktail, Beer & Wine Bar on Friday evening. Loved the beautiful space and the friendly service, but the cocktails were terrible. Wine or beer would have likely been a better choice and caused us to stick around longer. Quality: Mosaic Craft Cocktails, Beer & Wine Bar name suggests they do a bit of everything. They have a large beer menu, but it is filled with mostly common bottles and less than spectacular draft options. They offer a small selection of wine, but nothing that stood out. And since cocktails make up the majority of the menu that was the direction we went. I got the Dulce En Fuego and I would not recommend it. Both extremely sweet and extremely sour, it was difficult to drink. My girlfriend went with the Mint Chocolate Milk Punch, which reminded me a bit of a White Russian, but with an overwhelming and unpleasant mint taste. And that taste lingers. Maybe we made the mistake of going too bold, but after those drinks we were ready to pack up. Quantity: Strong drinks and not in a good way. Value: $13-$15 for the Signature Cocktails, but $2 off during happy hour. Ambiance: Mosaic Craft Cocktail, Beer & Wine Bar is located in Astoria. The intimate cocktail bar has a unique style to it. Filled with antique couches, chandeliers, and Victorian decor, it feels like you are stepping back in time. We settled in on one of the couches, which are easy to sink into. The classic R&B that filled the room also added to this cozy appeal. Definitely an atmosphere that invites you to settle in and sip on a drink for a while. Crowd: A small happy hour crowd. It was couples as well as some off-duty bartenders. Service: The server and bartender were both very friendly. But expect cocktails to take a while to be put together. Parking: Street parking is not too difficult.

I love finding places like these! My partner and I came here for a date night on Friday. It was packed! The ambience was lovely- so was the decor. As packed as it was, we found a table and the server arrived shortly there after. The drinks were delicious. I had the: Penicillin Pomme (previous name Persephone) My girl had the: Old Fashioned Smoke Show We ordered the nachos w guac on the side and the spinach artichoke dip. The food was delicious! Not too salty, not stale, fresh tomato jalapeño and onion. The dip was oniony but not in an overpowering way. Simple but sooooo good. It's a Cork and Kerry just 5x better. We found our new date spot!

A hidden gem? Maybe. A fabulous place to drink? Certainly. Mosaic has the feel of a speakeasy and the look of a sophisticated, pseudo Victorian era lounge. One might think this has Williamsburg vibes for its craft beer and wine, but this has been a staple of the borough since forever. It really is a one of a kind establishment. As the neighborhood continues to gentrify, it's places like Mosaic that will continue to bring in new blood. Situated in the residential blocks of northern Astoria, this once sleepy bar has one of the best selections of libations one could ask for. For a long time they were only a beer and wine spot, but now armed with cocktails and cool spirits, this is the ultimate spot to imbibe. For now, the cocktails range between $12-14, which is right around what to expect for Astoria prices. Beers, depending on whether they're on tap or in cans / bottles, will range between $7-14. Wines are around the same for the majority, but surely they have a premium bottle of something good that far exceeds the price but exudes the quality no less. They also serve food as well, a simple set of bar bites that range from quesadillas to paninis, and an assortment of snacks, cheeses + meats, and salads. I wouldn't necessarily be here for the food (especially over the drinks selection) but it's nice to know there are options. The bartenders really know their stuff. Whether you're an experienced drinker with a refined palate or a kid who just recently turned 21 seeking some adult beverages for the first time, they certainly know how to recommend a quality drink to help one enjoy the rest of the afternoon / night.

Steph P. and I came here twice back in December for our Queens beer book crawl and completion. The cute little wine bar would not strike you initially as being a place that sells beer until you approach the bar area. First off, the area is set up like a bordello living room with gorgeous chandelier lighting and plush couches, french style love seats and armchairs in dark purple and gold, antiquated lamp shades, a golden ceiling with deep crimson walls and hanging drapes. It's not over the top though and remains quite elegant. Okay, their craft beer list - it goes for pages and is in a red bound book. The beer is separated by category of types of ales: ipas, wheats, stouts, browns/reds, lambics, cider, etc. Most are in bottle form however and about 6-8 on tap. Happy Hour is from 5-7pm and entails $2 off wine/draft pours, $1 off bottled beers. They also do private events because this space is seriously beautiful. If I lived near here and wanted to impress someone, this would do nicely. I didn't order any food upon our visits. Instead talked about craft beers with our pretty informative bartender. But the food menu smelled and looked stupid in the good kind of way. Lots of cheese/fruit/nut plates. Paninis: Brie & Apricot, Margherita, Smoked Italian Peppers & Onions, Grilled Chicken, Smoked BBQ Pulled Pork, and a Cuban. Something for everyone.

Visually stunning little spot in Astoria, the Victorian decor was really fun! Great music, friendly service, and the drinks were pridefully crafted. They have tons of board games to play at your table...super chill! Will be back, loved it on a Saturday night (around 8pm). Didn't try the food but it looked good.

Contrary to Natalie C.'s opinion, Amos makes a KILLER mojito. Just the right balance of rum, lime and mint (which, for the record, I witnessed him take directly off of a fresh mint plant). This is one of the most fun and unique cocktail bars in Astoria with extremely talented bartenders and attentive waitstaff. A true gem in the neighborhood that I would highly recommend to anyone!

Whether you sidle up to the intimate bar, or tuck into one of the cozy sofa nooks, you're guaranteed a treat of an evening at the romantic, parlor-like space that is Mosaic. My husband and I have experienced Mosaic's seamless evolution from an exclusively [sophisticated] craft beer and wine bar to a full-on classic cocktail lounge, and each time we visit is special-- between the warm conversation with Mosaic's skilled, friendly bartenders to its eclectic array of spirits and small bites. Mosaic is the perfect destination to spend an evening with someone special, to celebrate something special, or simply to be treated like the special person you are. I commend the staff and Mosaic's management not only for their consistent talent behind the bar, but for making each visit feel both familiar and also as it it were our first time there every time we walk through the door. An Astoria cocktail experience not to be missed!

The cocktails here are really well done! They don't have a real kitchen so there are just small bites and appetizers. It's a great neighborhood spot to grab a drink!

Came here for happy hour after work. It's on the corner of the street with a gracious amount of residential parking alongside the block. The storefront looks a bit gloomy, but when you enter and even catch the first glimpse of the interior decor, it is so beautiful! We sat at the bar and looked at the menu. Since it was happy hour we overlooked the price and went with what sounded good. So I had the Moscow mule which came in an iced mosaic cup which definitely looked the part. The drink was super delicious as it had a hint of ginger lemon, but there was quite a lot of filler ice in there which was disheartening. In total, I had 3 cocktails and then closed the bill. I would have assumed a $12 signature cocktail would cost around $6 bucks if we were lucky on a 50% off HH, or $10 at a worst of -$2. HOWEVER it was ONLY -$1 per drink which totaled my bill to close to 40$... I even got taxed for my drinks, is that normal? I don't recall being taxed on drinks. Apparently the HH is only -$2 on Beer and Wine. I am definitely not going to come back here for HH as there are much better options available anywhere. Now you may ask why the bitter review, but give it 4 stars? Because the vibes and effort put into the cleanliness and unique drinks shouldn't be skewed away because of the price for those who find it too expensive!

Love it here. The vibe is fantastic and interior is beautiful. The bar tenders are cut and dry. The pumpkin beer was delish. I even get the food to go for convenience and a beer while I wait.
