THE BEST…for almost 30 years. We have been coming here since day one. We always lived in the Tahoe region and we would drive with the kids to pick up Piroshki’s and then go have a picnic in Golden Gate Park. As the years passed, we would still make our way here. Even as we peddled our bikes down the entire PCH from Oregon to Mexico - took a detour just for these amazing POTATO piroshki’s. Later years we moved to Ventura. We still visited when possible. And now…in California for our son’s wedding in Tahoe Region and we came all the way from Spain! Guess where we bought our lunch today to eat in Golden Gate Park! Yep at the best Russian bakery on the planet. The potato piroshki is my favorite but also the mushroom & egg or the cabbage. They also have beef and a beef & cheese plus also a plain cheese. After almost 30 years in continuous business, they still keep prices at only $3.85 per piece. They also have fresh baked bread each day plus a large variety of yummy pastries. Definitely recommend and of course we will be back!

Got one cheese pirozhki, one beef, and a cheburek. Everything tasted absolutely amazing. My favorite was the cheese pirozhki, the texture was perfect and the cheese was so flavorful. The store was very nice, and the pastries looked immaculate although I didn't get to try them today, sadly. Hopefully I get to soon! Definitely check this place out.

Loved this spot! Piroshki are their best sellers - I loved the ones filled with potato and sautéed onion. Also thoroughly enjoyed the sweet and crunchy walnut pastry. Very friendly staff and affordable prices

Best piroshky you're gonna get on the west coast (piroshky piroshky sucks). The beef and cheese piroshky is a greasy flavor bomb, basically a philly cheesteak inside a you tiao. Ask them to heat it up. Come here and you won't be disappointed, they've managed to keep prices relatively low without any compromise to the product. This is also a local spot that I've been coming to since high school.

Man, those beef and cheese piroshkis gave me food orgasm(sorry for the verbage). I heard some good stuff about this place on Reddit but didn’t know this place would have that high quality products. Definitely coming back. Cashier was very helpful but me dummy don’t remember even her name.

I went into the bakery with my family and I met another family there, buying goods. Everyone was so sweet. Another man in there, a customer, asked us if we wanted any help picking something, because we were taking a lot time deciding between all the delicious looking options! He gave us his recommendations, but we decided to get the bird milk, the chocolate royal, and an eclair. The bird milk was so yummy and unique. The chocolate royal was SO yummy, and when I had some for breakfast the next morning, the whole day I could smell the fragrance of chocolate. Highly recommend! They also had Georgie and Ukraine flags in their window which made me proud to shop there. They are kind people.
