Google
Great place for good coffee and a quick stop. Lots of delicious drinks and combos to choose from. If you're close by, I recommend this spot. Also a nice place to see the planes fly over you very close as they approach the San Diego airport.

Google
Tried the Creme Brulé coffee, Salted Caramel latte and Ube latte. Sooooo good! Not overly sweet like other coffee places that feel like your blood sugar is going spiking with a poorly made product that did not taste good. The drinks were done very well, ambiance was quaint and service was excellent. Thank you for the good drinks!

Google
If you're like me and don't drink coffee, you know how hard it is to find a café with exciting caffeine-free options, it’s usually the same boring stuff. But I’m so glad I found this place! Their caffeine-free menu is delicious, and the ube drink is seriously addictive, so flavorful and unique. Plus, the shop has tons of space to work or just relax. Definitely a new favorite!

Google
Filipino inspired coffee flavors, though not available in non dairy options. The turon creme brulee' latte was delicious and unique.

Google
This coffee shop is a gem with abundant and comfortable seating, fast wifi, and friendly service. I love the crème brûlée latte and the choconana iced latte. The drinks are flavorful without being overly sweet, letting the quality coffee shine in their specialty menu.

Google
I was amaze by the different coffes they make. I ordered the crembrule latte, wow amazing flavor, very unique and with quality coffe. The place is great and very cool and modern. I will come back for sure to try a different flavor.

Google
I was recommended this place by my brother we both are coffee drinkers. On a Monday morning I arrived close to 9am, and parking was somewhat difficult. It’s a cute small coffee shop on a street corner friendly nice staff, I first ordered a pancake blueberry latte with an extra shot and oatmilk. I immediately loved the crumbs on top and bottom of my latte as I finished it, flavors are extraordinary and never tasted anything like it. To go I ordered a cookie butter latte with an extra shot and oatmilk. I have to say both lattes are delicious and can’t decide which one I enjoyed the most. They were both great and happy I stopped by to try something new.

Google
The atmosphere was hip and the coffee tasted good. Above all, I liked the performance that melts sugar with a torch among the signature menus, and the aroma and taste of coffee.Crumble coffee was so good, and dry bananas were served as deco, and the scent and taste of this made pickers richer. And among the other menus, campfire coffee tastes like hot coco while camping and is soft.I recommend both.

Rockette E.

Yelp
Service was super friendly and the atmosphere can't be beat. Great place to meet and talk with a friend.

Yelp
I haven't been disappointed yet as I make my way through trying all their espresso drinks whenever I'm in the area! My two favorite ones are the bibingka and the blueberry pancakes latte, both iced (ask for less ice). FYI the bibingka one only comes with real milk and not able to be substituted. I enjoyed both and liked that they were not watered down at all like mediocre (big) coffee companies. The blueberry pancakes latte also came topped with Belgian waffle cookie(?) chunks that appealed to texture and crunch. I will 100% continue to visit their locations whenever I can to support local businesses and enjoy their products, thanks!

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick cup of coffee at this place. It is nice and very clean. I liked the patio inside area, intimate and well kept. Coffee was good and they only had one pastry which I got. Yum. Service was good as well. There were people working on their computers, but we got to sit down and chat. Would have loved some music though. If you are in the area, give them a try and share your experiences. Happy coffee time!

Yelp
Great overall experience. Mostra Coffee isn't just making coffee, they're out here conducting flavor symphonies in tiny cups. I ordered their single origin espresso. This thing hits your tongue and suddenly you're questioning everything you thought you knew about coffee. It's like when you think you're good at karaoke and then you hear someone who actually knows how to sing. Humbling. The flavors are playing tricks with your taste buds. Simple enough to not need explanation, but complex enough to make you want to write poetry about it. The staff has got the kind of energy that makes you wonder if they're secretly drinking something stronger than coffee. If you're in San Diego and don't hit up Mostra, that's like going to the beach and not looking at the ocean. Don't do that to yourself.

Yelp
turon crème brûlée lattes: as a Filipino I was so excited to try this Filipino inspired latte & lemme tell you it DID NOT disappoint. The subtle flavor of banana and the brûlée together made for such a nostalgic morning coffee with the girls Salted caramel Latte: the latte art on top was SO cute and had just enough caramel so that you didn't finish it all with one sip. Vibes: I loved how there was so much seating all around the shop. The baristas are also very welcoming and are great at making suggestions if you don't know exactly what to choose from! The front window opens up towards the street with barstools looking out, and there there's another patio outdoor/indoor area full of plants, couches, and high rises tables. It's also a good study spot with multiple outlets near the tables!

Yelp
This location is within a residential building but you can access it on the corner of the street! I was lucky to snag street parking and ran in real quick to get my order. My boyfriend and I got the turon cream brulee and the cookie butter latte (his third choice tbh). My boyfriend originally wanted to try the bibingka cream brulee drink but they were out of like 3 drinks by 2pm which was a bit disappointing. I'm a huge banana fan so I always love trying lattes that contain banana (milk) and I've been curating a list of top ones. Sadly, their latte did not make the list. Idk if the quality is inconsistent because it seems like they have good reviews on this drink but for my drink, I could hardly taste the banana milk. It tasted more like unripe banana and there was no hint of jackfruit syrup either. My boyfriend's drink was also okay, it was definitely better than mine but I sadly don't think we'll be back.

Yelp
Tucked away in a corner, I actually almost missed it. It's connected to a bigger building. The inside is very small and has a few tables and a tiny outside patio. I really loved the menu options. I was really tempted to try the ube but I really wanted to taste the espresso. I ended up getting the following: Turon Creme Brulee Latte: banana milk was pretty good, I wish the banana was stronger. Creme Brulee Latte: Classic flavor, very enjoyable.

Yelp
Stopped in on a while and glad I did. Campfire smores mocha was insanely delicious as was the almond croissant. Cute location on ground floor of an apt bldg. there are indoor / outdoor seating options. Service was fast and pleasant!

Yelp
Workers are kind and attentive. I ordered a salted caramel iced latte and a blueberry muffin. They asked if I wanted it heated or not, I got it heated. Sadly, the blueberry muffin tasted dry inside and out. It crumbled under my fingers and the blueberry didn't have that delicious burst of juiciness. Maybe it was a day or two old? It isn't too sweet though which was nice. The iced salted caramel was good, smooth and creamy. Nice amount of espresso. It's not the best salted caramel latte I've had, but it surely isn't the worst either! Nice and cold. I recommend their specialty lattes or the iced blueberry pancake latte. It's a bit of a splurge though! My order cost me: $12.88 -- what's nice is that they accept cash! Swing by and try them. They close later than most coffee shops in the area which is nice.

Yelp
I was looking for somewhere remote to work so pleasantly surprised when I came across this coffee shop, also a plus that it's Filipino inspired. Cute corner shop with indoor and outdoor seating and a plus for the nearby outlets. I wanted to try something new so I tried the turon crème brûlée latte and the choconana. The banana milk was very strong for me so if you're not a fan of that, u wouldn't recommend. Both the drinks were beautifully presented! They also had good food options that I'm willing to try next visit!

Yelp
This place is the best part of my day. Really friendly staff and always super kind. I always get the same thing. An iced americano, but the other stuff is great too. I like the croissant.. especially the one with ham and cheese. Jehovah is great. Customer service is on point. 20/10 stars. Nala approves of the puppucinos I like the coffee candle in the bathroom.

Yelp
Mostra is tucked away but a relatively easy walk from Balboa Park if you want to grab coffee//breakfast then walk around the park :) The specialty lattes are delicious and full of flavors, strongly recommend the blueberry muffin latte if that's your jam The prices are on par to maybe a little more expensive for the area, but the ingredients are high quality and the staff are kind and knowledgeable. They are dog friendly if you have your pup :)

Yelp
Mostra coffee is located on a cute walkable corner in bankers hill! At first glance, it's a great layout for catching up w friends, working or simply enjoying the coffee! There is plenty of indoor & outdoor seating which is great. The outdoor space is perfect & well lit for work calls. The coffee itself is amazing! I got the Honey Lavender latte & they made it to perfection! It wasn't too sweet or artificial tasting. Highly recommend stopping into this neighborhood spot!

Yelp
I really enjoyed the atmosphere here as well as the seating options. Nice quiet place to get some work done especially on the patio area. I had seen a bunch of photos of the crème brûlée latte, and was really excited for it! It turned out to be yummy and not nearly as sweet as I thought it might be, which I was very pleased with--however, comparing it to other photos yelpers have posted, I'm disappointed mine wasn't nearly as brûlée'd as others.... I feel that would have really kicked it up a notch. Even a little more strength, as a coffee lover, would've been perfect.... Overall, I will come back to try other items on their menu!

Yelp
This coffee shop is very cute!! The staff is so friendly and helpful with suggestions. The blueberry pancake latter and lavender matcha is great. Also they have a nice outside area which is nice for studying or to just hang out! :)

Yelp
DO NOT SLEEP ON THE TURON LATTE. We weren't able to try the bibingka latte because it was out of stock, but I'm sure given the opportunity, it would be out of this world amazing. Mostra carries beans for sale as well as pastries, but we went right for the turon latte. Our barista was super friendly and patient as we took our time pondering if we wanted anything else. This particular location in Bankers Hill falls right under the San Diego Int'l Airport flight path, so you can sit in outward facing seats (bar style and open to the sidewalk) and watch planes land. The entrance to their location is through the same entrance of the apartment building they are on the bottom floor of. Will most definitely be back anytime I'm in SD, and love that they have 4 locations to choose from!
google avatar

Valentin S.

Yelp
Off strength of their turon drink there, I would go here again. I love that they embrace Filipino flavors and not just ube! I still think about it to this day. Wish we had this in LA.

Yelp
This Mostra Coffee is on point with their other locations from the aesthetic to the service to the consistency of the drinks. Parking is very limited. It's mainly street parking but you may be lucky to find an empty spot. It's located at the corner of an apartment complex. It's a small location but there's still plenty of seating to do work or have a small meet up. You order and pay at the cashier and they'll call your order when it's ready. The male cashier was nice and quick with my drink. I ordered a hot creme brûlée latte with half sweetness. Absolutely delicious. They serve it without a lid because they have to display the creme brûlée effect on top. There's lids on the side if you want to cover it. I'm a big fan of Mostra Coffee so I'll definitely stop by here when I'm in the area and needing caffeine.

Yelp
I have never stepped foot in the cafe. Although I have ordered from here numerous times via UberEats and was brought these goodies yesterday! Someday I'll make it inside! I chose the Blueberry Pancake Almond Milk Latte, which was sooooo good! I almost want to make my very own blueberry pancake syrup just so I can replicate this latte. But I won't just so I can keep coming here to support! It was that good! I also chose the Guava Cheese Danish, which was also sooooo good! I know I sound like a broken record but I emphasize the goodness of my selections! A couple of bites before I got to the center, which made me feel the ratio of the center goodness to the pastry part was great. You know that danish where it is one bite and then you're at the center, I want to work for it and enjoy the pastry. My bf got the Campfire Mocha Almond Milk Latte. And he thoroughly enjoyed his drink! I can't wait to try more drinks. The cafe serves up some unique flavor pairings which is exciting!!! Thank you, Mostra Coffee!

Yelp
Was excited to try this Asian inspired cafe! Cute pretty interior with lots of seats. I got the iced cookie butter latte and my sister had the hot creme brûlée latte. The cookie butter latte tasted a little weird but definitely tasted like cookie butter lol. My sister said her drink was okay and could be sweeter.

Yelp
Was excited to try this Asian cafe! My sister got me the Creme brûlée latte and it was good but I wish it was sweeter! A little pricey at $6.95

Yelp
** This is an old review from Oct 2023 that I JUST realized was on another Mostra page/location and I just can't believe myself that I put a review in the wrong place!! ** Absolutely loved that I found this Filipino based coffee shop in downtown SD. They have regular coffees and teas along with fun Filipino flavored drinks. I've never heard of a bibingka or turon crème brûlée latte and I love both desserts so I was suuuper excited! I chose the bibingka one which is described on their menu as: "Inspired by a Filipino rice cake. Featuring milk infused with Phillippine coconut & vanilla bean. (Dairy milk only)" and they all have their signature caramelized torched topping for a "sweet crunch" which I thought was indeed true when I drank mine! With the Bibingka crème brûlée latte, I could definitely taste the hints of the dessert, but overall tasted just like a sweet latte to me which was still delicious in my opinion! I love the torched top and crunching on all the pieces as I was drinking the latte. I honestly drank it a little too fast only because I kept trying to catch the crunchy pieces that started breaking apart and floating all around lol. I ordered the regular size for $7.35. Since I'm indecisive and want to try everything, I also got a cold drink for when I leave the shop and stroll around downtown. The blueberry pancakes latte ($7.15 for iced) automatically caught my eye. The description on the menu says "House blueberry and maple syrup - butter crisps." It tasted exactly how it sounds but it's not overly sweet or anything. Tasted as refreshing as an iced blueberry pancake drink can taste lol. My bf ordered the Ube latte ($6.00 for iced) with an added shot for $1.25 since the latte is made to be caffeine free. It was delicious and tasted like a dirty Ube latte haha never sure how anyone could go wrong with this! The baristas show that they definitely have a love for coffee and seem to make everything to perfection! They also work quick and efficiently. There were a few other people as well but we got our 3 drinks pretty quickly. Love the ambiance with a bright yet cozy and inviting feel to the area. There is a bar top at an open window space so you can sit and look outside and feel the fresh air. There are also small circle tables with chairs or this green velvet booth type of seating.

Yelp
I've gone a couple times in the morning and once in the afternoon and it's never busy. Usually 1-2 people in line and drink made in 5min. Parking hit or miss, as it is all street and the surrounding area is all residential. There's a few indoor seats and counter seating. Not great for big groups but decent for studying space. 7/10 Bibingka Creme Brûlée Latte ($7.85 L) - kind of a let down. I had higher expectations for their specialty coffee but it was pretty average in flavor. 7.5/10 Cookie Butter Latte ($7.25 L) - Cookie Butter flavor was a solid addition but it was pretty light and really only at the top so it lasted the first half of the drink. 8/10 Turon Creme Brûlée Latte ($7 L) - Banana Milk was solid for this drink and flavor was good. I asked for additional sweetness which they used jackfruit sweetener. I wished they had an iced version but this works for cold mornings. 9/10 Ube Cookie $3 - chunky cookie that wasn't too dry. I got it warmed up and it was nicely soft. Flavor was great but definitely could use more ube as the coconut did mask some of the ube taste.

Yelp
Coffee: I got the Turon creme brulee latte, which is inspired by the Filipino dessert Turon, so there was banana milk in it. However, that taste of banana milk was super faint so that was a bit of a letdown. It just tasted like a really sweet latte. Ambiance: There is limited bar seating and a couple small tables inside, along with a small courtyard in the back with bigger tables. Beware of the constant noise traffic from airplanes flying overhead, it does get pretty loud but with noise-cancelling headphones is manageable. Service: They weren't too busy when we came in on a Friday afternoon so service was pretty fast. Staff were polite enough. Parking: It is a bit tough but there is free street parking ~5min walk. Overall: Would not recommend studying here as it gets pretty loud and the wifi is really slow/unreliable. The specialty coffee was a bit disappointing. Probably would not come here again unless already in the area.

Yelp
I'm so jealous for the people who live near this place because this is one of the best coffee places I've been to. It's amazing to see the Filipino culture of flavors that I grew up with be smoothly and successfully blended into lattes. Upon walking in and throughout our visit, the coffee shop was consistently but mildly busy on Saturday morning. We ordered and got our drinks in an appropriate amount of time. Our cashier was really nice. There were so many delicious options on the menu, it was difficult to decide on just one drink. I ended up getting the Bibingka Creme Brulee Latte. To be honest, I was nervous getting this drink because it's unique and I've never heard of a drink based off of Bibingka before. But goodness, I was so glad with my decision - this drink was delicious and better than I could have expected. I grew up eating Bibingka and the smell and taste of the drink replicates it perfectly! I tried my friends Turon Creme Brulee Latte and that was delicious as well. I also ordered an ube cookie and it was good. When I travel back to SD, this will be on my list to make a stop at!

Yelp
Great coffee! Great service! Great location! Highly recommend any of their signature drinks. Can't go wrong with an iced cookie butter or turon latte. So many great flavors and the morning wake up call you need from a nice cup of coffee. I think this location is perfect because you can grab a nice cup of coffee to sit and people watch in this beautiful neighborhood or take your dog for a walk by balboa park. Love this place.
google avatar

Yelp
This coffee is craaaaack. The vietnamese iced coffee is authentic and the campfire mocha was unique and smokey. The service was great and I give a two happy thumbs up with it being a Filipino owned company. Mostra's ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and vibrant. Whether you're looking for a quiet spot to work or a lively atmosphere to catch up with friends, Mostra delivers. The warm lighting and comfortable seating make it an inviting space to linger and enjoy your coffee. Parking is limited as there's only street parking. It's definitely a great pick me up when I want quality coffee with a great ambiance.

Yelp
Went here to try this spot out with a couple friends who frequent here and were raving about the filipino fusion flavored coffee. We went with our kids which at these cuter coffee spots, always makes me slightly nervous since most crowds don't necessarily expect having to deal with rambunctious toddlers here, but everyone was pretty sweet or unbothered about our little ones running around the outside area, which seems to be shared with the apartment complex this spot is connected to. We all had the turon latte and bibingka lattes. At first I was hesitant because I do tend to always prefer an iced coffee, but I actually think it makes sense that these two specific options are only offered hot as it speaks to the flavor profile. Now if you've had either dessert, such as turon (a deep fried egg roll caramelized with sugar and usually stuffed with banana and jackfruit) or bibingka (a type of rice cake with cheese, egg, and coconut) - these coffees embody that flavor almost perfectly! Our very small gripe is because of the location, our conversations were constantly interrupted by the planes overhead but we know we could have mediated that ourselves by choosing to sit inside. I just personally thought the kids would have appreciated not being in such a tight space, and hoping we weren't bothering other patrons as much. Otherwise, we definitely would come back. There are plenty of other options that also sound delectable that we'd like to try.

Yelp
This was my first stop on my day trip from LA to SD. As a Filipina-American, finding coffee drinks that incorporate my culture is rare so I knew I wanted to try Mostra Coffee after seeing it on TikTok. If you're coming here to study, there is ample seating. However, since it's extremely close to the airport it can get quite noisy from planes flying overhead. We ordered an iced cookie butter latte and a hot turon crème brûlée latte (only offered hot). The iced cookie butter latte wasn't overly sweet which I enjoyed. If you're a fan of biscoff/cookie butter, I would definitely recommend this. There wasn't as much cookie butter crumbles than I have had at other coffee shops but the house cookie butter base was sooo yummy. The turon crème brûlée latte tasted surprisingly like turon (a Filipino dessert: an egg roll with banana and jackfruit inside, fried in sugar) which made me feel very nostalgic and happy that they nailed the flavor. I would come again if I was in San Diego. In terms of parking, there is only metered street parking available. I saw some parking enforcement vehicles around so make sure you put enough time in! We were able to find a spot not too far of a walk from Mostra.

Yelp
Came in Tuesday morning and couldn't decide between the blueberry pancake and cookie butter latte, the super sweet Barista recommended the blueberry pancake one and it was super yummy!! This is a small space with some seating and wifi available, my drink came out quickly as I only waited a few minutes Will definitely be making a trip in again soon

Muriel C.

Yelp
Creative and tasty drink flavors. We enjoyed a cookie butter latte and a one of the many crème brûlée latte choices. They were creamy, not overly sweet, and flavorful. Be prepared for a line, but that should be a sign that Mosta has good drinks.

Yelp
I've come here 2x & got to try: Matcha latte Chagaccino latte One-Brazilian coconuts cold brew (sample) The matcha latte and chagaccino were both delicious. The matcha was really high quality and perfectly balanced between sweetness, earthiness of matcha, and creaminess. The chagaccino latte (got it with oat milk) was creamy, slightly sweet, and umami! I wasnt sure what to expect because I've never had mushroom drinks of any kind (minus soup) but wow - I couldn't even tell there were 2 shots of espresso in the drink because it was so balanced. I'd easily order both again! One Brazilian coconuts cold brew was unique and definitely had a strong coconut taste that wasn't artificial at all - again was balanced and had such a cool flavor to try. Can't wait to come back and try more of their drinks.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop in Bankers Hill San Diego. It is small so limited seating options. Fairly laid back so you will encounter people working or studying. It is also on the landing path to San Diego Airport so it can get loud. Coffee is about average. I had oat milk lavender latte and it was all right. Not great but not bad. Just there. At $7.50 for small latte is is pretty expensive...
google avatar

Madelina N.

Yelp
This place is such a vibe with great coffee and lots of seating for studying! There are three different sections of seating with one that has an open roof (super nice but can get loud with airplanes flying by). Overall really enjoy this coffeeshop. The cookie butter latte was AMAZING! It is in such a great location as well and has so much natural lighting. Baristas were great!

Yelp
I normally try to taste multiple drinks from a coffee place before I write a full review but the second I sipped the bibingka latte I knew I would love this place. This latte was layered, sweet without overpowering the coffee and honestly just a great drink. I did actually get another drink the very next day, the cookie butter latte, and as a person who adores cookie butter this hit the mark. I would rather places just sell this than try to make their own. Bankers hill location has a perfect co-working vibe with lots of seating options with outlets. Loved spending time here!
google avatar

Casey D.

Yelp
What I ordered: - blueberry pancake latte: I thought this drink was going to be super sweet, but it was actually not as sweet as I was expecting. Sweetness level was perfect for me. However, if you like your coffee on the stronger side I would suggest adding another espresso shot as it's on the milkier side! Service was pretty fast on a Thursday morning :) Seating & Outlets: this location has so much seating and outlets available in comparison to other locations. Huge plus if you need a spot to study or wfh. Noise: if you're not sitting inside, it can get pretty loud since planes fly over this shop pretty frequently. If you need to study, I would suggest staying inside. You can still fairly hear the planes a bit, but it's not too distracting. Parking: street parking and metered street parking is available throughout the vicinity. I didn't have a hard time finding parking at all. I can see it being harder to find parking on a weekend though.

Yelp
Mostra coffee is a delicious coffee spot with some unique flavor options. We got the crème brule and the campfire smores latte. Went back a second time and got the cookie butter latte. All were super great. The staff even helped us pick out some beans to make espresso at home. Try out the mama bear beans!
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
Yum! Located on the first floor of an apartment complex, it was pretty easy to find street parking a couple blocks away and walk. I got the cookie butter latte and it was yummy. A bit on the sweeter side, but bearable. The inside is pretty small so you probably just want to get your coffee and go. The place was getting pretty busy for 9am on a weekday so it's probably a neighborhood favorite.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this cafe while visiting SD I was pleasantly surprised to see it was filipino owned so I had to stop by. We found street parking and didn't walk too far so that wasn't a problem at all. They have such unique drink combinations. I had the blueberry pancake and maple latte which was perfectly sweetened enough to taste like the name. I also tried the blueberry matcha which was so good as well. Definitely would come back when in the area

Yelp
Great espresso drinks prepared by baristas who really take care in making a well crafted beverage.

Yelp
Great spot if you want to work at a cafe close to downtown and see the planes fly by. There is plenty of seating and great options for coffee. It seems like they have some filipino inspired choices which I thought was pretty cool. The service was also very friendly and parking is not hard to find.

Yelp
I discovered Mostra Coffee a few months back when I was searching the internet for Philippine coffee and/or Filipino-owned coffee companies to support. I read that they are women, minority, veteran, and immigrant-owned.... exactly what I love supporting. While I was ready to order coffee beans online, I decided to hold off until I visited in person. We drove down to San Diego from San Francisco the week of Thanksgiving. This location was most convenient for us (we stayed near the Convention Center) to stop at in the middle of our sightseeing. Hub and mother-in-law ordered regular lattes. I totally forgot that hub wanted his sweetened and only remembered after they made the drink. They were super gracious about it though! I wanted to order something unique to what I'm used to, so I went with the Bibingka Creme Brulee Latte (milk infused with Philippine coconut and vanilla bean). The top was caramelized which put the overall flavor in top gear. While ordering, I asked the person taking my order which beans he recommended. He came out from behind the counter and asked me if I preferred light or dark roast, etc. and proceeded to show me a few. I truly appreciated that. (I wish I knew his name, sorry!) He recommended Ethiopia for smooth, but when I asked for which was most popular, he said Ghost Bear was a favorite and was also what they were using for espresso. Needless to say, I got two bags of Ghost Bear and one bag of Philippines. The cafe pricing is higher than what you might be used to, but it did not factor in my decision to visit. Quality coffee and quality service speaks for itself. The cafe itself is bright and airy with an overall chill vibe. BTW, I went back online after I traveled back home and ordered another bag of beans and some single serve brew bags for stocking stuffers! :)

Yelp
Street parking only/metered. Lots of seating inside. Staff were very friendly and the drinks came out fast! Tried: Blueberry pancake latte: good, tasted like a blueberry muffin. Bibinka latte: was just okay, a little too milky for me. Need to try something stronger next time.

Yelp
Small, cute coffee shop. Ordered from here 2x during our trip. Was pretty packed Saturday morning, but the wait wasn't too long. My favorite was the hot cookie butter latte. The next drink I enjoyed somewhat was the hot creme brulee latte (took a while for the sweetness to kick in). My SO loves ube but was not a fan of the iced ube latte w/ espresso; could not even finish it. However the SO did enjoy the hot bibingka (Filipino flavor, vanilla/coconut) creme brulee latte. The ube cookie may not be for everyone; texture was interesting. Slight hint of ube and you can taste coconut. This place is still worth visiting!

Yelp
I hands down believe Mostra is The Best Coffee in San Diego. If you enjoy the taste of coffee and real flavors of coffee, Mostra is your place to go. The way they make their cold brew is best in San Diego. There is so much flavor in just getting it black with no milk or cream or cold foam is amazing. If you are a Cold Brew fanatic like my self I think you have to stop by this Mostra, across from Balboa park, as it is best in SD. The workers are so so friendly and are so good at making the drinks. There are a ton of locals that go and they are known by name. There is seating outside and inside with views of the airplanes flying in and out of San Diego Airport. There are no complaints that I have about Mostra and it is a coffee house that any coffee fanatic and lover should stop by.

Yelp
The best coffee in the San Diego area. I was in town for a convention and needed a bit of a lift. Mostra is crushing the coffee game and was a nice place to kick back and relax. If you want to get your caffeine on, go to Mostra for their selection that won't make you feel jittery.

Yelp
I've heard many good things about Mostra from locals and had to come check it out. Also never had coffee that had so many different Filipino flavors/influences. I was so excited I ordered two drinks and regretted it later lol. First was the Bibingka Crème Brûlée Latte which was unlike any other drink I've had before. You can only get this drink hot and I prefer iced drinks, however I would highly recommend trying once as it seems to be a signature drink for them. Second drink, which was iced, was the Blueberry Pancake Latte. Now this drink was delicious and really did live up to its name. Service wise they were just okay, maybe an off day but I won't hold it against them. Ambiance wise place is somewhat small but really nice. Would I go again? Maybe

Yelp
love the different options of drinks available here! The cookie butter iced latte wasn't too sweet and had a nice spice to it. The seating is pretty cozy and there is free Wi-Fi and outlets if you want to get work done.
