"This bright and charming cafe entices diners with a melange of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes. Each of its five Miami locations has a unique look and feel, but all are inspired by the Israeli towns of Jaffa and Tel Aviv, featuring airy indoor/outdoor spaces, bright colors, and plenty of florals. The primary attraction, though, is its all-day brunch, which features dishes like the smoked salmon Jerusalem bagel plate laden with mozzarella cheese, roasted tomatoes, olives, and a shifka chile-spiked aioli; lahmajun (flatbread filled with vegetables); chips with harissa aioli; and a majadra rice bowl. Grazers will gravitate toward the hot and cold mezze that are good for sharing (try the spicy matboucha and crisp, lamb-stuffed Moroccan cigars, to start). Regulars often order malawach — a traditional Yemenite Jewish flatbread made from layered, pan-fried puff pastry — followed by chocolate babka bread pudding for dessert, all paired with limonana, a refreshing mint lemonade." - Olee Fowler

"Serving kosher-style Israeli Mediterranean dishes, Motek, slang for cutie pie in Hebrew, features five different hummus options, customized majadra rice bowls, and a tempting Arayes burger on pita bread stuffed with Lebanese grilled beef. Complementing the meals are glasses of refreshing limonana and babka bread pudding." - Alona Martinez

"This bright and charming cafe inside Aventura Mall (with a sister location in Downtown Miami) woos diners with a melange of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes. It is an all-day brunch feast here with items like the smoked salmon Jerusalem bagel plate, lahmajun (flatbread filled with vegetables), chips with harissa aioli, and majadra rice bowl, which blur the lines between breakfast and lunch. Order the malawach (Jewish pancakes) churros for dessert and wash it all down with limonana, an Israeli mint lemonade." - Olee Fowler

"Motek is one of our favorite restaurants in Downtown Miami, and their Aventura restaurant has an identical menu—plus cocktails (which the Downtown location doesn’t have). If you’re looking to sit down and have a leisurely meal at the Aventura Mall, you should do it here. There really aren't any misses on the Israeli menu, but the chicken schnitzel sandwich, shakshuka, and arayes burger always deliver." - Ryan Pfeffer
