"Motek is an Israeli restaurant buried inside a huge building full of diamond shops, and getting here will make you feel like a considerably less stressed-out version of Adam Sandler in Uncut Gems. There are some very tasty things at the casual restaurant, especially sandwiches. We really like their crispy chicken schnitzel sandwich and the arayes burger, handheld beef-stuffed pitas that come with a side of crispy fries. The indoor restaurant is also BYOB with no corkage fee." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, virginia otazo
"There are Motek locations scattered around Miami, and they’re all a safe bet for a reliably good meal with quick service. The Brickell Motek doesn’t have our favorite atmosphere out of the bunch, and we blame that on the general chaos of the Brickell City Centre. But it does have the same consistent Mediterranean dishes we’ve come to expect from these folks. The pitas are fluffy, the hummus is ultra creamy, and the kebabs are juicy. This is the biggest Motek of them all, so keep it in mind if you need a last-minute option for coworkers or visiting family who insist on dragging you along to their shopping spree." - mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo
"There are Motek locations scattered around Miami, and just about all of them can handle a bigger party. The Brickell Motek doesn’t have our favorite atmosphere out of the bunch (we blame this on the chaos of the Brickell City Centre). But it does have the same consistent Mediterranean dishes we’ve come to expect from these folks and enough massive tables to handle multiple big groups at once. It might be the biggest Motek of them all, so keep it in mind if you need a last-minute option for coworkers or visiting family who insist on dragging you along to a shopping spree." - virginia otazo, ryan pfeffer
"An Israeli-Mediterranean concept expanding across the city (Aventura, Downtown Miami, Coral Gables, Brickell) and noted for serving up some of the best hummus and chicken schnitzel in South Florida; presented as a growing local favorite with multiple gorgeous locations." - Allison Ramirez
"Motek Cafe is an Israeli restaurant two and a half blocks from the Government Center station. It’s buried inside a huge Downtown building full of diamond shops. We really like their crispy chicken schnitzel sandwich and the arayes burger, handheld beef-stuffed pitas that come with a side of crispy fries. And if you’re not self-conscious about walking around with a bottle of wine, the indoor restaurant is also BYOB with no corkage fee." - virginia otazo, ryan pfeffer
