"Mother Kelly’s is the beer paradise, inspired by New-York tap rooms and situated in one of the railway arches of Paradise Row. You have the choice between 23 beers on the tap (which they change pretty much everyday) and a HUGE selection of bottles to pick up from the fridges. Lagers, IPA, stouts, Belgian krieks, brown beers, black beers, cider... there are beers for everyone to discover. The bottles are also available to take-away, so you can do your beer shopping here as well. The place is super convivial, on top of the beers, you can enjoy cheese, meat, vegetable and chocolate boards! There is plenty of space inside and outside on the terrace, perfect to come with a big group of friends." - Mélanie Hubert-Crozet

"Mother Kelly’s wall of fridges is a beautiful thing. Six of them, shoulder to shoulder, shelves full of anything from Amundsen to Wild Beer Co. Pair that with 23 taps on constant rotation, and it’s fair to say this tap room has one of the most extensive beer ranges in London." - Hugh Thomas

Great taproom and bottle shop! Lots to choose from with 22 different taps and great beer on each of them. The only thing that disappointed me on my visit was that most of the beers hovered around the 4-5% side, and I tend to prefer nice punchy IPAs. That being said, the pales were still excellent and hoppy, I just prefer a nice strong IPA or DIPA. Some interesting beers were offered as well, such as an 8% saison brewed with chillies that was top notch (pictured), and Cantillon by the glass which is always great. I would definitely recommend, especially to people who are new craft beer as there's enough choice to have something for everyone, and I will definitely come back!

A fantastic beer venue, probably a must-visit place for a beer geek visiting London. Great range of beers on tap (keg) with an emphasis on London and UK breweries. They do 1/3 pours, which is great. Decent prices. Several fridges loaded with cans and bottles of all beer styles, including some continental European stuff (Germany, Belgium, etc.). Staff is usually quite pleasant and efficient. Lots of seating indoors and also a big outdoor patio area. Great place to check out.

We came here for my husband’s birthday. The service was excellent- nothing was too much to ask! We really, really appreciated it. The beers were delicious. The place is also very dog friendly, which was another big plus! We would highly recommend.

Cosy bar under the arches near Bethnal Green tube. Fantastic choice of beers, ranging from 0% ale up to a 12% Imperial Stout. I had the London Porter from Anspach & Hobday (which falls in the middle range). I've had it before and it was as good as I'd remembered. Everyone I was with agreed it's a place to be re-visited.

Really nice relaxed place, no steps, lots of space between lots of tables inside as well as a nice outdoor area. Burgers can be ordered from next door and there is a great selection of beers including sours. There is a wall of fridges with cans and bottles for take always and the staff are friendly. I didn’t use the toilets so can’t comment on them! Will definitely be back

22 different kinds of craft beer on tap! My favourite one is The London Black, nitro porter. The head is so smooth and almost like buttery. It tastes like chocolate and dried dates. It’s a very short walk from Bethnal Green tube station and there are 4 other restaurants in Paradise Row. They have small selections of cold appetisers, but no hot food, so we can bring some food in from the next doors. The atmosphere is very nice. There are plenty of seatings inside and out. It’s great to hang out with small and large groups of friends. Weekends are pretty busy, but I highly recommend to try The London Black if you like Guinness type of beer.

Proper lovely independent place, nice and quiet where we could have a conversation without shouting over music. Loads of unique beers to try. Very friendly staff! Loved it.

Have been going to Mother Kelly’s in Bethnal Green for years and always have a great time here: it’s so friendly, the inside and outside seating is bright and stylish. Stunning range of beers, nice food: olives, cheeseboard etc. All in all a lovely spot. On my last visit the dogs there were ADORABLE too!
