The Best New Restaurants in Minneapolis and St. Paul Right Now, March 2025

"Mothership Pizza Paradise, from the team behind Mr. Paul’s Supper Club at 50th and France, is now open just around the corner. Chef Tommy Begnaud trades the supper club’s Big Easy-inspired menu and atmosphere for a delightfully retro, subtly intergalactic vibe. His wood-fired, lightly charred Neopolitan pizzas are layered with combinations like white sauce with creamed spinach and crispy shallots; pork sausage with fennel and olives; and house mozzarella with chile crisp and ricotta. (Roasted vegetables, salads, crudo, and cured meats are also on the menu.)" - Serena Maria Daniels

12 Notable Twin Cities Restaurant and Bar Openings in October | Eater Twin Cities

"Opened on October 29, Mothership Pizza Paradise delivers a delightfully retro, subtly intergalactic vibe, and I enjoyed a menu focused on wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas alongside roasted vegetables, salads, crudo, and cured meats from chef Tommy Begnaud." - Justine Jones

Google
Cool spot on the 50th and France district. Awesome record and atmosphere and even cooler menu. Every pizza was named after an employees mother. I recommend the Care Bear for Pizza and the Chopped Italian as a small plate. Overall a great place to go with a small group.

Google
The vibes make this place special. Food is a nice bonus. Went around 7:45, were told it would be a 30 min wait, ended up being about 15. Waitress manning the waiting area was short with us though after we said we ordered at the bar as we didn’t know she came around for drinks orders. Our table waitress was super friendly. We got the calamari and arancini to start. Both were great. Lumache for the pasta w/ chicken and none of us liked it. I’m still looking for the chicken, and the sauce was very bland & almost tasted reheated. Elizabeth pizza was terrific, table favorite. Highly recommend. Patsy was also really good. Service was a little slow, and they never switch out your plates (which are tiny in the first place), so i didn’t love eating the second & third dishes off of my leftovers from the first. Overall a fun causal place.

Google
The Mothership crew is always on point. The support you have shown & given to the community as of late, is so important! Kudos. On top of that….the pizza is on my top 5 list! We ordered the 3 pies, great crust. Also had the meatballs, calamari, and naughty garlic knots. Washed it all down with some fancy drinks, beer & wine! We sat in the big corner booth-had views of all TV’s and music was bumpin!

Google
I would rate everything a six if I could. I have never done crack, but I imagine the garlic knots are a good analogue. The meatballs, and the chicken parm are close behind. Both are under “small plates” but they are not. The chicken parm is there because it doesn’t fit anywhere else. It deserves its own category: comes on a loaf of bread, pretty much. Skip the garlic parm wings. They’re not anything special. We may have just gotten unlucky. Henry, bartender who hated his name when he was six (he’s now at least seven, I think) is wonderful. Get the strawberry basil gimlet. You don’t need to even like gin.

We’ve been meaning to stop in since it opened and we’re glad we finally made it! The atmosphere had a good vibe, the staff were friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. We had the Kathy, the linguini with shrimp and the chopped Italian salad. All three options stood out and the pizza ranks up with some of the top Neapolitan options in the area. If you’re in the area and like great Pizza and pasta, do yourself a favor and stop in! We’ll definitely be back.

Google
The Care Bear pizza was absolutely outstanding. Perfectly crisp crust, vibrant flavors, and a great balance of toppings. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell short. The chop salad lacked complexity. I appreciated the fennel, but the overall flavor was flat. The orange, which sounded exciting on the menu, amounted to two tiny pieces, hardly enough to matter. The meat was too chunky, and the cheese cubes felt heavy. Thin slices and shredded cheese would have been a better choice. The pasta was flavorful but laughably small for the $24 price tag, six noodles at best. It could have used a little more lemon zest to brighten it up, but even perfect seasoning would not make up for the portion size. Service was somewhat disorganized, and fruit flies in the dining area did not help the experience. Our total was about $80 for one salad, one very small pasta, a pizza, and one drink (my partner had water). Overall, expensive, decent food, but small portions. With so many options in the Twin Cities, we could do better elsewhere. Bottom line: Come for the pizza, but do not expect value or a well-rounded dining experience.

Google
I will start by saying it’s New Year’s Eve but since they don’t lower their prices I won’t lower my expectations. I ordered takeout over an hour ahead of time. Gave a decent tip bc it was a holiday. I got there and had to stand and wait for an extra twenty minutes.( I ordered over an hour ahead of time.) Then they bring me my order and I ask where the second salad was. They look at my order and say, “Good catch”. Then I get home and the pizza was burnt. And tasted exactly how the black part looks. If you tell me it’ll take 90 minutes ahead of time I’ll wait no problem. But I built in extra time for you to be relatively on time. And you SAW the pizza was burnt and sent me home with it anyway. And yes…also forgot my $15 salad. I summarized, yes.

Google
Waited about 15 min for a table at 5:30 on a Thursday. Great service and very nice employees that offered drinks while we were waiting. Our group tried a view different pizzas and apps. The wings, heirloom tomato, burrata, and garlic knots were great apps. We also enjoyed the Ama, Patty, and Elizabeth. The Elizabeth was a table favorite. Also we determined that they have a top espresso martini in the twin cities. Can’t wait to come back for pasta and take away pizza someday!

Yelp
Despite being newer to the Minneapolis dining scene, Mothership seems like it has been around for a while - cozy, loud, and inviting - it gives the feeling of a well frequented neighborhood spot with a robust takeout service. I am not sure why it took me so long to visit, but now that I have, I can see it becoming a frequent rotator on my list of pizza joints. There are no reservations and wait times can be long, but there is a small space with a counter where you can order drinks in the meantime. The bar, situated to the left, and the booths and tables to the right make for an intimate dining space. With one or two TVs, it feels a little more casual, but you can easily choose to not pay attention to the screens. Pear and gorgonzola salad: Would be too small for a meal in my opinion, but a nice starter to share if everyone wants some leafy greens. A light, pear vinaigrette coats mixed greens with equal amounts of walnuts, gorgonzola cheese and mixed root vegetables. If you're looking for a salad with some creativity, try it. Garlic knots: MUST get. It's like the savory version of the inside of a cinnamon roll. So doughy with a cheese crust and doused in butter and garlic, these knots sit on top of a light red sauce that can be used to enhance their flavor even further. They are rich and having one and a half was more plenty. Emma: Crust is so important to me in pizza, along with quality ingredients, and I think Mothership nailed it. The thin, buttery white sauce is not overpowering, and with a blend of cheeses, mushrooms and artichokes making up the bulk of the pizza, the hints of truffle honey, pistachio and basil can still peak through. The base of the pizza is thin with a Rosalia style crust - almost like naan bread - so doughy and soft. I think if you are prepared to wait for a table, it really is worth it. I can't forget the chocolate chip cookies and milk at the end too - I recognize a chocolate chip cookie is a chocolate chip cookie is a chocolate chip cookie - and these are just like the ones your mom makes! Not too thin or thick, packed with chocolate, slightly crisp on the outside with a soft interior and best dunked in whole milk! Highly recommend this spot in Edina.

Yelp
Pro's: -Free street parking -The frozen tiramisu drink was delicious! -They use real garlic on the garlic parm wings -The crust on the pizza was the perfect about of chewy and crispy! -Everyone we encountered was very nice! They have an excellent staff here! Con's -This place is busy and small! Which could be an argument for the pro side! (Obviously people love this place!) We were quoted 30 minutes but were able to grab a spot at the bar at about minute 15! - We got the Care Bear pizza not realizing how spicy it would be! Would love them to add a spiciness level to their menu! It was still tasty but harder to enjoy! -There really isn't a "lobby" area. So the people waiting to sit down were basically bumping into us while we sat at the bar. Overall, this place is good! It's worth a try, but during times that aren't so busy. Even better, they have an option for take out! Also this is not a good place for a date or a friend meeting where you want to stay for hours. Be respectful and plan no more than an hour, hour twenty at most! -

Yelp
Finally made it up the street to the newest Tommy Begnaud joint. I had pretty mid expectations since I think most of their spots tend to lean heavy on appearance vs value of food. I'd been missing their Po Boy shop and turns out this is a nice way to fill that lower-key vibe. The service was fantastic but the space is pretty cramped. Especially with how busy it gets around meals and later in the evening. We got (basically) a margherita pizza, some calamari, and a few cocktails. I'd heard mixed reviews about the pizza but it was solid. I still find it really hard to pay $20 for a 10-12" pizza but that seems to be the new norm. Honestly, if you're not after the experience I'd go with Dominoes thin crust for $6 9/10 times. The calamari was also good but, again, priced a bit high for me personally. The lemon and artichoke added some nice brightness. Cocktails were all great. Not too sweet and really well balanced. They've got a great drink program all around. As I mentioned, all their restaurants are more a place to grab a drink and party with friends than get a great food value so the appeal is there. This is definitely out of my weekly-meal price point but, hey, it's Edina. I wouldn't hesitate to celebrate or catch up with folks here. Their food is solid, drinks strong, and the vibe immaculate.

Yelp
Food is delicious!!! If you like spice, the Brenda is it. The Karen was a delightful hot honey and goat cheese option with less spice. Peroni and Aperol spritz on tap were lovely options. No reservations and very very busy. Be prepared to wait a while (hour plus on a Friday unless you grab a bar seat). Service was great and efficient. One star removed for a somewhat chaotic environment- not a place for a cozy date night. Hard to have a conversation with loud music and people filling every space. Next time, I'd get the amazing pizza to go!

Yelp
I went here last night for dinner with my family. Very lively bar scene. We came on the early sid of dinner so we only waited about 10 minutes to be seated. The server who greeted us was friendly and guided us to a place to wait. Once seated, our server was super nice. We ordered a cheese and a pepperoni pizza. They have a full bar, which is nice as so many pizza places only have beer and wine. Alas, I just got water. The pizzas were very good. I am generally not a fan of MN pizza, but their pies were up near the top in the pantheon of MN pizza. I recommend the place, but maybe not with kids - it is definitely a great place to go adulting - eat some pizza and slam a few cocktails in a buzzy space.

Yelp
Visited 8/5/25. (The) Mothership has arrived! This place is so fun. Good for all ages too, as I went with friends for dinner/drinks, but there were also a good amount of families there too. They had fun feature pizzas/daily deals and it gave fun pizza parlour vibes which I enjoyed. Would most recommend the garlic knots, as these were perfection. Split these, two pizzas, and a pasta between four people and it was a solid amount of food for the four of us. Pizzas were good and I think I liked them slightly more than the pasta, but the pasta still had great flavor. Overall would definitely come again

Yelp
Paradise is right!! First visit, absolutely won't be the last. I'm going to make a bold statement and say that this is my new favorite pizza place! Went with my fam and we loved it all, every last bite. We shared a Kay pizza and an Elizabeth. Both good for their own reasons, both great crust and sauce, both a perfect ratio of toppings and that amazing mozzarella! The milk and cookies were an extra special surprise treat for dessert. Holy moly, the cookies are huge! And yummy with a sprinkle of sea salt on top. Atmosphere is casual and fun. Service was top notch and we felt like we were friends with the mothership staff by the time we left. Everyone was so nice and friendly! We can't wait to go back and already have our next visit and pizza orders planned. So happy to have found this absolute gem. Thanks for such a fun and delicious night!

I'm O.

Yelp
This place has the best pizza I've ever had, which includes several experiences in Italy. The crust is ungodly delicious and light. The cornichon is PERFECT, and the topings appropriate. I also tried a Caesar salad that was delightful.

Yelp
Ok... someone tell me why I haven't been here before now?!? I am not normally a fan of Neapolitan style pizza because there are limited toppings on them... this was more like NY style with stringy cheese and lots o toppings!! I am obsessed! Pizzas I tried: "Emma" mushroom pizza - this was beyond foodgasm! The cheese and wild mushrooms with artichoke were perfection!!! I am drooling while I am writing this and thinking back about how good this tasted. "Also Kathy" buffalo chicken pizza- I was worried when I tried this that it would be too hot. It wasn't! It was the perfect amount of flavor and not overly buffalo. This is probably my favorite Buffalo pizza that I've ever had! (Order without bacon for all my non pork eating friends). Perfection! I didn't think MN needed more pizza places until I tried Mothership! I want more! Thanks for the unbelievable pizzas, service and cocktails! I will be back and pull my crew next time! Note: the space is small, so get there early so you get a seat. See you there!

Yelp
This place has more than good pizza! It has a delicious selection of pasta and shareable small bites! Our server Levi was awesome! He was the only one at the place and really hustled to serve us and the customers at the patio. It also seems to be a team effort as drinks and food were brought out by folks from the kitchen. A great casual place to get together with friends and family and there's plenty of bar seats! Worth a try if you're in the area!
google avatar

Molly B.

Yelp
The Emma (pizza) was the best pizza I've gotten in a LONG time. It's the perfect combo of spicy and sweet. The aperol spritz was delicious and refreshing. The inside of the restaurant was beautifully decorated. Their choice of music was perfectly fitting. The server was helpful and not overbearing. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place! The first time I came in, it was buzzing on a Friday night, and we ended up on the waitlist. But when we returned after 45 minutes, the staff greeted us by name before we even had a chance to reintroduce ourselves--talk about impressive service! And let me tell you, the pizza and wings were out of this world! The pizza had the perfect balance of salty, cheesy, and crispy, bursting with flavor. Plus, the ambiance is just adorable, with a modern retro diner vibe that makes it even more enjoyable. I can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Rikkita K.

Yelp
Awesome pizza! We had the salad and two pizzas here, and everything was great. The crust was thin and the toppings on the pizzas were really well thought out - all the flavors balanced and made for a pretty spectacular overall experience. The inside is sort of a fun, slightly upscale dive bar theme, fitting for the food. The waiter forgot to add one of our pizzas to the order, and insisted on giving it to us for free to go - so really great service as well. Don't miss this pizza spot!
google avatar

Emilee K.

Yelp
I came here with my friend after a round of golf and we quickly fell in love! The lunch deal was perfect for us. The first cocktail was so good that we ended up staying for a few more :) Strawberry Gimlet may be one of the best drinks I've ever had! And our waiter was absolutely amazing, treated us so well. Mothership is definitely a new fave spot for us!
google avatar

Yelp
Been wanting to check this place out! Finally had the chance and it was great! Ordered an Aperol Spritz, cheese pizza and pepperoni pizza. Ambiance is nice and cozy... kind of feels more like a diner than pizza joint since layout is more rectangular and elongated. Love the large booths that faces the bar so I got to have a bit of entertainment watching the fun drinks the bartender was whipping up. My Aperol was refreshing! Can't go wrong with this drink. One of my faves. Both pizzas were yummy! Love the chewy crusts. The cheese pizza was a bit burnt on one side of the undercarriage. I understand char and welcome it, but there's char and then there's char char kinda borderline burnt. I'm sure it was just the discretion of the pizza maker and maybe he left it on one side a bit longer since the other side of the pizza was fine and the pepperoni pizza was fine. Fabulous pepperoni. I'm a huge fan of the small cupped type and prefer it over traditional pepperonis. Cool box for leftovers! Nice place for a quick stop. Also saw they had a small patio space on side.
google avatar

Erica J.

Yelp
This is the type of place you visit and can't wait to go back! Probably the best service we'd had at a restaurant in a very long time, outstanding food, phenomenal drinks. Worth the wait. Such a fun vibe. Highly recommend the garlic knots, Italian dry rub wings, paper plane cocktail & strawberry gimlet! Pizza was awesome and everyone around us had pizzas that I can't wait to try next!
google avatar

Vivian C.

Yelp
Charred and overcooked pizza had bitter and burnt flavors. And the high cooking temps and short baking time resulted in dry meats and undercooked veggies. Crust was black on the edges and the bottom. I asked if this was how their pizzas were normally done, and the server said that they it was. The pizza did come out very fast and the service was very friendly. But the pizza was overcooked and over salted.
google avatar

Yelp
Mothership Pizza Paradise has a lot going for it, a cute atmosphere, a full bar (not just beer and wine), and a convenient location with free ramp parking a short walk away. We came in around brunch time on a Sunday and ordered The Elizabeth pizza and wings. The pizza definitely had a lot of flavor! Unfortunately, the center was quite soggy... not in the foldable New York-style way, just kind of wet. The wings were also on the softer side, but still decent if you're having a craving. On the upside, the espresso martini was delicious! Overall, it reminded me of other wood-fired pizza spots around Minneapolis. If I lived nearby, I'd probably go back for a quick bite and brew! Service was quick and friendly.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try mothership pizza for awhile now, and finally got the chance to have it. We went on a Tuesday evening, and it was still pretty busy. We were able to get a table outside quickly though. We ordered the garlic knots and a kathy pizza to share, delicious! The fresh cheese on the knots was amazing and the red sauce. My favorite type of pizza is wood fired and this was up there in my top for sure!

Zac M.

Yelp
One of the best new pizza joints in town fast service and good pie. Give it a try!!!!

Yelp
Having had a great experience at some of this ownership's other spots, we couldn't wait to try out Mothership! Especially since each pizza is named after one of the lead team's moms! Street parking directly nearby or a walkable distance to a free parking garage. It was opening week, so we arrived and put our name in, knowing we'd have a decent wait. We headed back a bit before they called us back, and were able to find a spot at the bar! The service was stellar and very timely, especially since I figured it would be chaotic for opening week. They seemed to have all the issues ironed out and were running very efficiently. The interior is kinda small, so I wouldn't recommend for large groups, but it's decorated well and meets the identity of "local pizza spot"! The menu is simple but has plenty of traditional and non-tradtitonal options! We had a bucket of beers, served cheekily in an old tomato can. Great selection for a good price ($20 for 5 canned beers). We started out with the garlic knots, which were surprisingly small in size but had a great flavor. We tried Connie, Hillary, and Care Bearpizzas. All the pizzas were delish and Mothership knows their way around a white and a red sauce pizza! The star is the chewy crust that they make...it's perfect for their Crust Dipper side sauces! Overall, a yummy and well-run new establishment that's perfect for watching a sports game or meeting up with some friends.

Yelp
don't take as long as I did to jump on the @mothershippizzaparadise bandwagon 10/10 service from Jordan, patio vibes & meal. will be back again to test the rigatoni ASAP. this was some of the best pizza I've had in MN in quite awhile. our orders: the Brenda // $25 -- tip: ask for hot honey on the side! chopped italian // $15 espresso martini shots for 3, courtesy of Jordan unfeatured: aperol spritz & strawberry basil gimlet - both were delish!

Yelp
Last night we went to Mothership Pizza, and had an awesome time. They really do a good job of greeting people, and making them feel welcome. I felt like I walked into a new restaurant that i'd been to many times, it really just such a pleasant and relaxed vibe. The staff is kind, and generally just looks like they want to be there. The branding is amazing, the vibe is great, and the pizza is incredible!! We had the emma & care bear, they were unique and not like anything ive had before and I loved that. This is an instant classic wood fired pizza place that you'll be thinking about the next day. The arancini $15 was covered in a delicious fondue (not melty or sticky though) sauce. I'd absolutely get that again (but next time im getting the garlic knots lol). I'll be back for more! Nice having a pizza place that isnt wildly expensive, but is a different stratosphere from chain pizza places.

Yelp
Just ate here for the first time tonight. The place itself has a fabulous vibe. The interior has a modern twist on a vintage vibe with super fun art and light fixtures. A comfortable blend of booths and chairs. Great variety of starters, pizza and pasta. We ordered 2 pizzas and the best calamari we've ever had. The staff was pleasant and helpful and our waitress Jasmine was a full-on ray of sunshine which is much appreciated. Pizza was pretty darn perfect. We ordered the Brenda and Patsy. Both were fab. Treat yourself to the hot honey dipper. It's good on everything! Moral of the story is..."We'll be back"

Yelp
We sat at the bar and were so impressed by the incredible fun and kind staff. It is such a lively and exciting spot. Cozy and comfortable while also being modern and new. The cocktails were excellent. Started the meal with crispy arancini. We had the Also Kathy pizza, think Buffalo chicken dip flavors meet pizza. The Agnolotti pasta was also fantastic, so many flavors coming together to form one delicious dish. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Have been waiting for this spot to open for months! It was worth the wait. Since they are new, certainly gave some grace while they work out some kinks. Went early for dinner (3:30) because we knew they don't take reservations. Glad we got there when we did. We were seated right away (a little awkward since there is no host stand at the main door so can't really determine if you should wait to be seated or not). By the time we were served our food every table was filled and there were multiple parties waiting to be seated. Started with the garlic knots which were tasty but not very warm and if there are more than two in your party you'll want to order multiples. Husband had the Kathy Pizza (pepperoni) and loved it! I had the Bucatini and it was delicious. The meatballs were so flavorful. Would have loved a bit more pasta itself on the plate. Service was really good and attentive. The place is small and can get really tight when crowded. Great atmosphere overall. They have a couple of larger tables for bigger parties. Will certainly be going back!

Yelp
Had to see what the buzz was about! So so delicious, the red pizza sauce here is to die for. We also tried their caesar salad and thought it could use a bit more dressing... Was a little dry. But the breadcrumbs on top were lovely. The inside is small, so you can expect a wait. The staff were awesome and efficient. I will definitely come back!
google avatar

Jingle M.

Yelp
Noisy and packed! Which is a good indication of the deliciousness to come. Lorena was our super friendly waitress and the food was OUTSTANDING. Started by the owners of Mr. Paul's Supper Club, I would call it Gourmet Pizza and Pasta. Next time I want to try the Italian Chopped Salad.

Yelp
Really great pizza , great people, great environment, ice cream right next door, but prices on the higher end but worth it.

Yelp
A lively spot with a fun atmosphere and food that is done well if you can get in to enjoy it. Although it's been open for many weeks, I've only been here once because it is quite hard to get a table. This is in the heart of 50th and France in Edina so don't expect a cheap experience. But for your money, you will get a jam-packed, popular and casual spot with a full bar, a wood fired pizza oven, and a menu that leans towards Neapolitan pies and tasty pastas including a toothsome Sunday red gravy style Bolognese. The wine list is not large and is generally marked up about 250%. I kind of expect that from places located in this area. In my opinion, they chose some very mediocre Italian selections which is surprising given the quality of great wines available from that region. Buyer beware, select wisely. The food was great and my group really liked the calamari starter and their version of a chopped salad. Pizzas are hand made and fired. They got the dough and the chew correct. For my money, this is better crafted pizza than Lola and a bit more traditional too for the same amount of money. Reminds me of Punch with an air of exclusivity. What I was not a fan of is how hard it is to get into this place. There are no reservations taken and no clear place to wait without obstructing the door. It is not big so tables are at a premium and you should plan on a wait list. A long one. Given the lack of wait space, you are likely to need to wait outside or in your car. On my visit we waited over 80 min and finally just grabbed seats that opened at the bar as those are first come first served. I did notice that wave after wave of diners would come in and the operators seemed to know them personally. Eavesdropping led me to believe that a large number of patrons are in the restaurant industry and they seemed to get bumped up to the front of the wait list line because of knowing someone. I can't prove that but it certainly seemed like it and I had a good long time to observe this pattern occurring over and over. I filed that in my brain as "something that makes me go hmmm..." Overall, this a solid spot but one that I am unlikely to try to frequent simply because it is too much effort to try to get into. I am happy that this place is seemingly successful. But since I am not a restaurant industry insider, I just wish that I did not feel like an outcast waiting for a table.

Yelp
We had an extremely long wait in a small entrance area, but the staff continued to check on us and keep us updated on our spot in cue for table. The Caesar salad was an impressive start to our meal with generous dressing although a little too salty. I wasn't sure what to expect, but they arancini was AMAZING - will order this again! We had shared 3 pizzas and had enough to take a slice home. They were the real deal and all had a unique flavor combinations that put them on top!

Ann S.

Yelp
Food was ok, extremely LOUD! Two big tvs (or was it 3?) with overhead loudspeakers thru out the place, blasting rap. Extremely loud, unable to converse. I wanted to turn around and leave, but my friend had already ordered us drnks. So we endured the awful noise. Our 12" pizza, w proscuitto, parm and arugula, was tasty. But $23 seemed overpriced for a small pie. The killer for us was the noise. Nothing makes up for blasting crap music, thruout the Place, We will NOT return. (Better pizza at Punch, half the price).

Yelp
The menu offers a variety of wood-fired pizzas, each named after the mothers of the team running the restaurant. I tried the" Also Kathy,"This pizza features a white sauce base topped with a cheese blend, chicken, bacon, ranch dressing, buffalo sauce, and celery, creating a harmonious blend of creamy, savory, and spicy elements. The star of the show for me was the Patsy adorned with ricotta cheese, prosciutto, arugula, olives, lemon, basil, and parmesan, resulting in a fresh and zesty flavor profile and I added hot honey sooooo good!! In addition to pizzas, the menu includes small plates like garlic knots and arancini, as well as homemade pasta. The cocktail selection is impressive, they have lots to choose from from wines to crafted cocktails. They also have an espresso martini on nitro tap! With its combination of delicious food, inviting ambiance, and friendly service, Mothership Pizza Paradise is a must-visit spot for pizza lovers.

Yelp
Good food and friendly staff. We came in early since we knew it would likely be busy. It worked and we were able to snag a table right away. We had the garlic knots, the rigatoni, and a pizza. Everything was good and food came out fast! The rigatoni was my favorite - nice and saucy, lots of flavor, and good amount of meat in the sauce. It's a nice diner feel, so it's cozy nearing cramped. Lots of bar seating on one side and mostly two tops on the other. It worked for our family of three but I think it would be tough with a bigger party.

Yelp
Umm.... YUM! This is such a fun cute new spot. From the owners of Mister Paul's. We decided on going for lunch as they don't take reservations. It's a small spot so be warned that if you don't time it right you'll be waiting for a while. We ordered a bunch of things to try and liked every single thing! Personal highlights for me were the garlic knots and the rigatoni. The food came out super fast and service was great. I can't remember our servers name but we had a blast with him! Highly recommend a stop here.

Yelp
First time experience, Saturday early evening. Our two pizzas, the Ama and the Kathy, were both good. But: My wife's heirloom tomato salad left a virtual lake of balsamic vinegar in the bottom of the bowel. And her Aperol Spritz was literally 90% crushed ice. Final comment: The noise level was very, very loud. Conversation was not easy. We live only 4 blocks away and are glad to see that it's popular, but I'm not sure that we'll be a rush to go back.

Yelp
Excellent Pizza ! Great service - Great cocktails. My only suggestion is to add pizza by slice and a large size pizza to go. It would be great to see a large 16 inch pizza. 5 stars overall

Yelp
LOVED this place! I'd recommend going earlier or later, as they do not take reservations, and it is rather small. Amazing staff, and even better pizzas!

Yelp
I dream about the affogato I had at mothership pizza every night. 10/10. The waitress we had was lovely as well.

Yelp
This place has the potential to be a really great pasta place. The bucatini with meatballs was top notch, with chewy strips of pasta in a rich and tangy tomato sauce, with 5 savory and tender meatballs, showered with crispy panko. The flavors were perfectly balanced. The caesar salad isn't prepared the typical way. Instead, finely shredded romaine lettuce is tossed with a somewhat bland dressing and Parmesan, again with panko. There were whole strips of anchovy on top, but overall the taste was kind of flat, and I didn't like the texture of the shredded lettuce. The Connie pizza was very rich and creamy, with lots of fresh spinach. But the pizza crust was pale, doughy and kind of flabby, and also kind of flat tasting. I'm also confused about the garlic knots that some people said were great. Again, not your typical hot garlicky bread knots. The bread was soft and wet, almost like they were boiled, not baked. The tomato sauce was delicious though. So I would definitely come back for the fantastic bucatini and meatballs, and also to try their other pastas. But the pizza dough is way off, and the other items were heavy and bland. I'm hoping future visits will prove to be at least 4 stars.

Yelp
A place for flavor and saucy sauce.... Came to Mothership by the curators of Mr. Paul's Supper Club and was not disappointed. From the deep crates hip hop and Indy soundtr, to the large tvs with Sunday night football on, this place is a mix of the old with new. Great drinks and pasta, looking to try pizza when I come back. Will be back with bells on

Yelp
Most delicious pizza! We've had the Brenda twice & it's the best we have had! Flavors are spot on. Crust is perfect. The staff are upbeat, friendly & attentive. It's busy, but have a drink while you wait!

Yelp
A friend chose this as our dinner destination, and it was a big ol' 5 stars dining experience. Yes, it's mostly pizza, but it's very very tasty pizza. + great pasta and appetizers menu as well. The pizza toppings are unique and pair very well together. Our group ordered the Elizabeth, the Karen, lumache pasta and garlic knots. Honestly, the garlic knots were the most surprising bc I'm so used pizza places phoning this dish in, but these were DELECTABLE. Pizzas had fantastic flavors, some bold, some subtle, and all real delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. OH AND ALSO hot and fresh chocolate chip cookies for dessert with a sidecar of milk to dunk?! A yes every time.

Yelp
We loved our visit to mothership pizza! We read ahead that it's small and fills up fast, so we arrived at 445 on a Friday for our table of 6 and were sat within 15 minutes. It's a smaller space but still has ample bar seating first come, first served so if you're solo or a duo, you probably would have easier luck finding a spot quickly. The hostess and staff were very welcoming and made sure we all had cocktails while we waited and they were so friendly and engaging with the kids which made the time go by faster for them too. I was anticipating enjoying our meal, but I honestly was even more pleased with the food than expected. The chopped salad had this wonderful balance of salt mixed with a light citrus and I've been thinking about it since we left. We also split the garlic knots, carrots and meatballs from the non-pizza menu and were all fighting over the last bites because they were all so good. My 8 year old enjoyed the Kathy which was meatball and green pepper, my absolute favorite was the Emma which had pistachios, white sauce and mushrooms. And we split another spicier 'za too whose name I'm forgetting but it had green olive and Fresno peppers and was a good partner to the sweetness of the Emma. The pizzas are wood fired so that lovely thin crust that you actually want to finish and not just waste. We will definitely be back as I have to eat more of that salad but I'm also very interested in the pastas too!

Yelp
Wish I like this place more but the food just was not good and the thing that annoyed me the most is that the owner's wife would just walk around and do nothing. It was very interesting and very odd.

Yelp
if this was helpful, please click to react, and Follow me for more reviews Check out my IG for more news, insight, pairings and other fun related content. --------------------------------------------- What a great chill spot with TVs to watch the game and stay late with friends and family. Definitely can see this becoming the neighborhood place, and because it's on the right side of the street it will be a great late night spot! Incredible customer service and energy was "out of this world!" Ainsley and his crew connected with all the customers when they walked in and thanked them as they walked out. pizza to light bites were so good. Light airy crust, big flavors and just the right amount of cheese on the pizza without making you feel bloated leaving. I enjoyed the Parmesan wings, meatballs and Arancini. All very very delicious. I ordered their twist on a Manhattan and enjoyed it. It's very black walnut forward, but still had the sweetness you look for. Another person in our party ordered the Negroni and also approved the cocktail! The bar isn't overly stocked with whiskey but there were some special pours including MMCA23 and WSR. Food Allergies gluten free options available!

Yelp
We were all so excited to go here. We did have an hour and a half wait, which wasn't ideal but that is what comes with a new place that doesn't offer reservations. Our server was great and was doing a great job for only being open for a short time. That atmosphere was very fun. Definitely was giving off cozy holiday vibes. We throughly enjoyed the calamari. Although the pizzas were good, We felt that both pizzas were missing something. We still haven't been able to pin point it. The espresso martinis are on tap - such a fun concept. They were alright, not the best we'd all had.

Yelp
What a great new pizza shop in the neighborhood. My son and I went out for a great date night (he is 5) and had a blast. We split a salad, pizza, and the knots and loved it all. I would highly recommend, be prepared for a long wait though, we showed up at 4:45 and it was still a 45-minute wait
