New London Restaurants on Our Radar

"Opening in October, restaurateur Stevie Parle follows the buzz of TOWN with a ‘big London Italian’ created with Chef Luke Ahearne, whose time at Lita in Marylebone showcased his wood-fired grill skills; this larger project seats up to 140 in what is likely to be a mightily buzzy brasserie, with a look akin to TOWN’s funky design but washed in a yellow colour palette." - The MICHELIN Guide UK Editorial Team

Motorino - Review - Fitzrovia - London - The Infatuation

"The follow-up toTown, a handsome art deco spot inCovent Gardenthat has a penchant for bread and gravy, promises to be similarly aesthetic—with the added punch of a former chef fromLita. Motorino inFitzroviapromises to be similarly big and glitzy, serving takes on modernItalianfood." - Jake Missing

A very fine Dining Experience at the soft launch of Motorino in Pearson Square, Fitzrovia. This is from the same group as Town. The restaurant dining room is very large with a good number of covers and well designed seating and table as well as small booths. There is also a bar area which offers a variety of Cocktails. The furniture and interior décor is modern with the usual subdued lighting and futuristic design. The food was excellent as was the service. From the menu I would recommend the following Amuse Bouche and Starters. The Focaccia and the Tuna Carpaccio, the Sardines and the Pumpkin. From the mains I would recommend the Ribeye which was truly delicious and very well prepared also the The Old Spot Chop which was equally as good and well prepared. The whole menu is well balanced and the food was delicious. Finally the service was very good with a number of experienced and friendly waiting staff who were efficient and very welcoming. Our main server was a Romanian lady who was very good and certainly deserves a mention unfortunately I failed to get her name. We shall certainly be coming back to Motorino in the near future.

We recently visited the newly opened Motorino in London for dinner, and it was an unforgettable experience. Since there were four of us, we had the chance to try almost everything on the menu — and everything was simply outstanding. The focaccia, with its perfectly crisp crust and delicious whipped butter, was a fantastic start. For our mains, we tried the fish, the steak, and the slow cooked beef with polenta and mint sauce — each dish was cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. The 🍸 martini cocktail with fig leaves was also exceptional, full of delicate flavor and balance. To finish, we sampled all the desserts on the menu, and they were absolutely divine — the perfect sweet ending to an incredible meal. A huge thank-you to the entire team for the warm welcome and the wonderful atmosphere. We had an amazing evening and can’t wait to come back!

We celebrated my wife’s 50th here in their main private dining room with 12 friends. The entire experience was excellent The service super attentive but not over bearing The food was exceptional! We had some real foodies in our group and they were all very impressed. The menu is interesting with a wide selection, so something for everyone. Wine selection extensive. The vibe was really cool, not trying too hard, casual but stylish. Prices are reasonable given the quality of food and service It took me a while to write this review but it needed to be written as they deserve your custom. One of my favourite London restaurants now! So much so I’m writing this review from their bar coming back again.

The food was unbelievable, we especially liked the tuna carpaccio & pumpkin with stratacella. My friend had the ribeye with Chianti sauce, which I couldn’t help but share with her, even after ten years meat free - no regrets! The lighting & music complimented the stylish interior. Service was warm & knowledgable. Looking forward to trying their quick lunch set menu soon!

Fabulous new opening and super lucky to get a table during their soft opening. Menu set up in Italian style. Great dishes and superb choices. Everything we tried was just perfection.

I had an amazing lunch at Motorino. The food was incredible, the tartare and the ribeye was the best I’ve ever had. The service was really attentive and the restaurant is beautiful. It was an amazing experience from start to end and I would definitely recommend it.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Motorino London. The focaccia was crisp, light, and absolutely delicious. The setting was relaxed yet refined, and our server Alessandro was exceptionally courteous and attentive, giving great non-alcoholic recommendations that paired perfectly with the meal. I’ll certainly be returning.

Had dinner at the newly opened Motorino last week, having heard it was linked to Town, which we visited and loved earlier in the year. Motorino is similarly fabulous - what a beautiful space. The music was great ( both sound level and quality) and we loved the various design features in the bar and restaurant. Seriously cool! The waiters serving us were all extremely pleasant - courteous and yet friendly and approachable and demonstrating a great knowledge of the menu, particularly given that it's a new opening. We absolutely LOVED the focaccia - I'd return just for that alone!! The rib eye was worth the price - cooked to perfection. And the lemon meringue for dessert - wow! Great selection of wines, cocktails and beers and the bar area looked a great place to meet for drinks. I love seeing new restaurants opening and succeeding. I would return to Motorino in a flash ( that focaccia!!) and really hope it receives the plaudits that it deserves.
