I wanted to go to this park for a while I got a chance a few months ago and it was beautiful - I have to go back and walk the other trails but I was beyond beautiful sky The park was clean a bit of construction but nothing crazy.

An amazing area for Wildlife viewing in NYC. Watch out for the cops they do random vehicle stops that infringe upon the rights of American citizens. Once you are in the area it’s peaceful and I love coming here.

Calm and quiet place very good for morning evening walks as well as for picnics. Special huts and benches made for picnics. Plenty of birds you can find here. It's really worth simply sitting there and listening to different birds chirping. You have access to beach, as well, though not fit for swim. All in good good place to visit if you are in neighborhood or passing by there.

One of the best parks on the island. Great for waking, running, biking, bird watching and even a picnic. There are even decent hiking trails that are short but pleasent. The views are great and it's very very well maintained. The only issue is that the parking lot is small and it gets busy on nice days. There are plenty of paved roads for biking and well maintained trails cutting through.

Lovely area with plenty of trails to explore, birdwatch or enjoy with your dog! There are accessible paved trails, but also non-paced ones that are harder to manage. One trail leads to the Princess Bay Lighthouse. Lots of birds, groundhogs and turtles. May have spotted an eagle! No swimming at the beach. Plenty of parking, but did not see any bathroom area/s. Free.

This area is managed by NYS DEC rather than NYC parks department. Beautiful hike with variety of landscapes packed into relatively modest acreage (ponds, meadow and wetlands trails, beach walk). It is a gem in a Staten Island.

Enjoy Staten Island wildlife, plants and views 🌅 . Perfect for a nature stroll, it has paved paths and also woody trails I love walking and biking here all the way to the hill. Update 2024: The new boardwalk trail is breathtaking! Here i add some more pictures

Mt Loretto is a very nice wetland on the South Shore of the Island. There is a pond near Hylan Blvd that has tons of turtles and this swamp reaches the Raritan Bay. I also love the walkway by the wetlands.
