Movida at Hotel Madrid

Had my rehearsal dinner at the restaurant here. Wonderful tapas that left every guest happy. They were able to accommodate every dietary request and the sangria was wonderful. Taylor with the event team is great at her job and made sure everything went smoothly. Make sure to add the paella (really impressive for a party). Thank you so much!!!

18% gratuity was expected as most restaurants do it now. The ambience and aesthetics are beautiful especially with the touches of pink. Servers and manager are fantastic. The food is amazing, even got a birthday menu. But let me tell you my favorite part aside from the communion wine experience, CLEAN CUPS and the diversity with staffing. Rare you find clean glasses nowadays, perfect. I'm sitting here typing this as i eat my churros. Thank you for the best birthday brunch.

Had the best brunch here! From start to finish everything was amazing. The new addition is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to come back and check out the new outdoor patio. The service was great as was the food and drinks. Great place to have brunch with your friends. Highly recommend!!

Best meal I have had in a long time!! We were seated in the new addition and it was STUNNING. Our server was great and helped us pick out some tapas as it was our first time dining here. We tried a bunch and they were all delicious. Our favorites were the garlic shrimp, bravas and Spanish meatballs. We also got the Movida paella and it was outstanding. All of our cocktails were also delicious. Looks like the patio will be a fun place to dine this summer and can't wait to come back and check out their pink brunch on the weekend. Super disappointing service for what you are paying. I went with four friends, made a reservation and wasn’t waited on until 45 minutes after we were supposed to be seated. The patio was closed due to weather so I was understanding we had to wait a little longer for a table, but as soon as we were sat, we were completely ignored. 20 minutes went by, several people passed us and no one even looked at us. I went up to the host stand and asked someone if we could please have a server and some water and she just looked at me and said “okay”- then completely ignored us again. It genuinely felt like they did not want us in the restaurant. I had to go up to the stand AGAIN and ask for a waitress, at which point they said there was a “mixup” but I still don’t understand how no one comes and even greets you after sitting for over half an hour. I noticed they added an 18% gratuity for themselves but no one ever notified me that they did that, and I tipped on top of that. I never would have done that if they had notified me like they should. It feels extremely shady. For what you are paying here you could go somewhere else and be treated a lot kinder by people who actually want you there. I would never go back and recommend going somewhere else.

Went to brunch here with a few of my friends. The food was amazing and $6 bottomless ?? Can’t beat that price at all. The tequila sangria was the best ! Karen was our server and she was so sweet and kept the drinks coming. Ryan and Chris also checked in on us and even let us go upstairs after the private party was over so we can see the outdoor patio. Good vibes great people def our Milwaukee brunch spot when we visit..Hopefully we can sit up there next time we are in town !

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Movida. There were 4 adults and 2 children in our group. We were greeted when we walked into the restaurant. Our server was ant our table quickly. We ordered and each time we had finished the beautifully plated food, our next choice was announced and placed on our table. We were attended to the entire meal and asked if we were needing anything. Looking around the room people were smiling and laughing and enjoying themselves. We will be sure to go back when we are in Milwaukee again! I would suggest to have a reservation as we did. It is a very busy place.

We had a great experience eating here for Mother's Day brunch. The food was awesome and the manager was super accommodating about the timing of a couple of our meals. The brunch special had good variety and we're all presented nicely. Thank you!
