I’ll be dreaming about this place! The breakfast sandwich I had (Denver Breakfast Sandwich) was incredibly delicious and my wife really enjoyed the turkey pesto sandwich too (I tried it and definitely agree!). We went with a side of parmesan potatoes and I couldn’t recommend them more. Great flavor and crisp. Many great options here! It was my favorite brunch spot from the places we visited during our Denver trip. Of note, they have the option to dine in but also have a pickup window where you don’t even have to go inside if you prefer that option. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. My compliments to the chef!

Google
The other reviews are right about the gluten free bread, it's excellent and we all know that's hard to find. The food is very good overall, the chef knows what they're doing. It's a bit overpriced though, considering my breakfast sandwich had very little bacon and my turkey sandwich seemed like it should have come with some kind of side given the price. Everyone there was very nice and I liked it enough to go back for lunch.

Google
We split the Turkey 'n Brie (includes a fig jam) sandwich and added the sweet potato fries. Both were DELICIOUS!!!! The greens were dressed and not just thrown in like a hunk of lettuce on a burger. So so good! The sweet potatoes were perfect! Only wish I would have asked to see if they had any special dipping sauce for them. Both items together were just under $20. A great value for a quick lunch!

Google
A bright and vibrant shop with quick service. We were greeted with friendly service and a clean bright environment. I absolutely loved that the shop offers a window for people to order directly off of the street. The cafe style menu is affordable and the offering are sizably portioned to match great for a light lunch that won’t over fill you! The tomato soup was well spiced. Love the aesthetics and the plants, definitely had good vibes!

Google
Such an amazing spot! You can never go wrong on their regular menu. But I absolutely recommend always going for their specials. Today, we ordered 3 of their special items & we were blown away! The curry frites, pickled watermelon rinds & watermelon salad, were all out of this world! Thanks so much, Chef! 🙌🙏🏻

Their version of Egg McMuffin Is relatively good. The coffee was good. Cozy space is nice, too relax and read the news in the morning.

Google
Thoroughly enjoyed the turkey sandwich with fig jam and balsamic onions! My best friend had the turkey w pesto and said it was phenomenal. Friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend this place!

Google
Delicious fresh food! Their prices were good and they serve hearty portions. My wife and I stopped for breakfast and both enjoyed our sandwiches and we got a nice mixed portion of crispy seasoned taters. Moxie has a walk up window if you are wanting to remain outdoors during the pandemic. We cant wait to try some of their other options.

Yelp
I have walked by this small eatery many times. I recently retired and am looking for cheaper spots for eating out. Their menu is above the kitchen or via QR code. No paper menu. Only 1 server, Emily B. I got Iced coffee, not cold brew to start. They have 1 Benedict on the menu which is house-made hollandaise sauce with a sunny side up egg on 7 grain toast. I added pink salmon. Very good. I also got a granola yogurt parfait. They add a 5% Living Wage fee (marked as LW) on receipt. They indicate a cash price vs debit/credit cards (vendor fee is 4%). My cash price was $ 23.06 & I paid cash. I tipped Emily $4. The owner is Dillon and 2 women work in kitchen. I noticed a takeout window. Emily said takeouts are a good chunk of their business. Restrooms are in the basement of this building accessible by elevator or steps. The restroom code is posted.

Yelp
Moxie is a tiny little cafe/restaurant tucked away with some awesome food. I am usually not the type to ever go for vegan food but did at this spot and didn't regret it. I ordered the vegan acorn squash torta and enjoyed it a lot. There was a generous amount of squash on it cooked perfectly and everything went really well together. The torta itself was also super fluffy and delicious. I especially loved the cashew chipotle aioli as it was very unique and tasty. All in all, a great shop with great staff.

Yelp
Cute, convenient little shop that maybe has 3-4 tables. Pay, sit, get served! Really fresh quality ingredients and fast service. Options of vegetarian and gluten free (+$3 for gf bread) Large portions too. Easy street parking too!

Bryan B.

Yelp
10 bucks for an egg sandwich. It was small and the English muffin wasn't even toasted. Very disappointed

Yelp
Moxie has been my go-to GF breakfast spot since moving to Denver in September 2022. Moxie gets their GF sandwich bread from Deby's, an entirely GF bakery in Colorado, and it's always excellent. Many of their other menu items (street frites, salads, and soups) are GF naturally as well. I was once given a regular bread instead of GF (I noticed bc I constantly live paranoid) so I do recommend always double checking when you receive you're food - "hey, this is the GF bread, right?" Staff is knowledgeable and always willing to change gloves and equipment for me! I recommend the breakfast torta on GF. Lots of veg (vegan & vegetarian) options, too.

Yelp
I was recommended this place by a local and decided to give it a shot. The pictures do not look very good I have to say. I ordered the lambwich and was pleasantly surprised how delicious it was. The meat was tender and ciabatta was good. It was an overall really great sandwich. Casual atmosphere- order first and seat yourself.

Yelp
I wanted to like this place much more than I did. We walked by and it smelled good, so we got two breakfast items to take out. The salmon "benedict" was ice cold when we got home. It was also not a benedict. This dish had smoked salmon on a burnt, soggy piece of toast with an undercooked egg (fried, not poached) and zero discernible hollandaise. See the photo; it was so sad and unappetizing. They have English muffins - I don't understand the choice of toast, especially since it gets so soggy. The chicken sausage breakfast sandwich (served on an English muffin) was okay, but the whole thing - especially the egg - was pretty flavorless. Maybe this is more of a lunch place?

Yelp
Ok - forgive my photography. I wasn't expecting to post lol. I travel to Denver once a year and every time I'm planning my trip I start dreaming of Moxie's Warm Kale Salad! It's so good! The team there is so kind. In addition it's the cutest little spot. My only complaint is that it's not open longer! I want to eat there for dinner too! See you again next year Moxie!
google avatar

Yelp
The vegan squash torta was so good! It's a casual restaurant which you order at the counter then they bring your food to the table. I've never had a torta like this before and I really enjoyed trying something different! There is street parking and a few lots around where you can park though it does cost.

Yelp
While visiting a friend in Denver, we stopped at Moxie Eatery and had a great low-key lunch. The restaurant is smaller with limited seating but everyone in the store was friendly and they made figuring out what to order really easy. If you're here, I highly recommend the Nutella almond butter toast! It was super tasty and also quite filling

Yelp
Visiting Denver, found this lunch place. We had the chicken noodle soup-delicious! Home-made noodles and wonderful broth. Husband had turkey pesto sando & I had turkey sando with fig jam. Again home run for both. The ice tea was also very flavorful. Service was excellent and while a small place, it was great.

Yelp
Creative menu prepared with excellence. Friendly service. Great food and cute little dining room.

Yelp
This was a solid lunch option today! The interior isn't huge but the portions are! Awe loved our salads here especially mine. The process is you order then sit down. Everything is made to order along with friendly service. We'd definitely would come back here to try one of their sandwiches. There is metered parking near and around the corner if necessary. Well done Moxie!

Yelp
Really small restaurant on Broadway. You order at the counter and they verbally ask if you want to leave a tip (I hate when they do that, so much pressure!). I got a small dish for brunch from their daily special menu. Las potatoes bravas (sp). It was a bunch of potatoes covered in a fairly tasty sauce. It was aiight! My friend got a super healthy looking salad. Overall, it was OK.

Yelp
Moxie is a quaint local fusion restaurant, along Broadway in Denver, with tiny tables, an open kitchen, simple decor and many vegan and GF options of all varieties. The chocolate chip was not our fav, but it was a vegan, GF option and not quite our jam. Spicy Chicken Thai salad: reminds me of a Korean cucumber kimchi mixed with chicken breast and a few other things. Most notably in this dish is a distinct cucumber kimchi flavor. Kimchi being one of my most favorite foods, I didn't complain. I'm not sure what was "Thai" about this dish ‍ but it was awesome. Very little lettuce in the bowl but it was delicious all around. Falafel Waffle salad: this isn't really a "salad" in terms of what a traditional salad might be, but nonetheless was a unique dish. The tomato, red onion, feta and cucumber mix was at the bottom of the bowl, with a...well, falafel but in the shape of a waffle on top. The cumin yogurt was fantastically flavored. It seemed to contrast in ingredients, yet together all tasted wonderful. Chicken Ramen: great flavor, chicken pieces, and the egg is more of an egg omelet (think sushi tamago) and not a whole boiled egg like in many ramen dishes. Overall a great bowl of ramen. Chicken Confit (*special*): a chicken quartet over mashed potatoes, a side of spring mix salad and, just...wow! Loved it. Unsweetened iced tea was very refreshing, a slight hint of mint was just the right twist for a hot and sunny day. The three of us crammed into a table meant for 1.5 persons, splitting 4 entrees because we wanted to taste so many things. Couldn't order everything on the menu but we would have if we could. No public restrooms that we saw, unfortunately which meant no hand washing station :( but that's not uncommon around Denver. We had some saniwipes, thankfully.

Yelp
Really really good! We came in early for lunch and it filled up quickly but we absolutely loved the food and the portions were insane. Everything we got was quick and lovely. We will absolutely be back! Loved the Brie grilled cheese the best!

Annie S.

Yelp
So delicious. You can tell everything is made fresh. Reasonable prices and seems to be family owned. Best place on Broadway for breakfast or lunch.
google avatar

Yelp
Great flavor and convenient workday lunch spot The falafel waffle was creative; Loved the lamb sandwich too

Yelp
I only had a fried rice special. Nothing special about it. In fact it was way off. Some mayo heavy tasteless aioli smothered across the top of it. Little chicken bones mixed in for danger. No flavor - no salt or pepper or sauce of any kind readily available to improve the bland mayo rice. Self serve water station supplied bad tasting presumably unfiltered tap water into bleach smelling plastic cups. Paper napkins and cheap flatware - no music - no vibe at all. Service was counter only. And prices are HIGH. A full spectrum meal here would run you $30. As in an entree , some sort of side and a drink. Top it all off with the expected 20% tip for the clerk who took your order and you've got an all American failure. This place may last a little while on Broadway in Denver. But if it were in a more serious food town like LA or NYC - it would last 2 weeks. Keep cruisin....

Yelp
Banging! I was looking for a light but fancier than fast food breakfast after yoga on a Saturday morning and this hit the spit perfectly. Vibes are very saturday morning hipster. Casual dining but high quality food. I got the green eggs and ham sandwich and a coffee. Very satisfying! Will DEFINITELY be back.

Kacie J.

Yelp
Absolutely best lunch in Denver, we go here weekly. Rotating sandwich board menu that never disappoints. The chef/owner is a wizard. I have never gotten something I wasn't wowed by. Comforting homemade food with quality ingredients. Bonus they always have a fire playlist. Must check this place out if you live in Denver or are visiting!

Yelp
If I had to describe this eatery in three words: darling, delicious, and underrated. The front is very inconspicuous while strolling the downtown area. It was the food window that caught our eye - serving breakfast to-go. It's a small space, but well laid out and decorated in subdued whites with pops of red and black. It felt very airy and casual, we settled in nicely. The ordering system is brilliant, too. You walk in, order at a little stand to the left, and then seat yourself. We have a party of 5 and the hostess was very accommodating and helped us push some tables together. Amongst the group, we ordered an avocado toast, a few green eggs and ham sandwiches, and a side of the yellow potato frites. My avocado toast was good, much more seasoning on the egg and avocado purée than most places. But the star of the table was a tie between the egg sandwiches and the potatoes! The sandwich was warm and well-balanced. The earthy pesto paired with the salty, cool prosciutto, and tied together with a warm, gooey egg. And the potatoes!! Like something from a TikTok ASMR video, perfect 360 crunch with thick salt flakes. Definitely try this place on a casual morning when you have time to savour your meal. The to-go window looked convenient and we'll absolutely go back to try other menu items!
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
So happy my friend and I stopped in today! There wasn't a wait to be seated, the interior was bright and upbeat, and the staff was phenomenally friendly! They had a great variety on the menu; it was hard to choose what we wanted as everything on there seemed amazing. My friend locked down the Fog, Jam & Ham with a side of sweet potato fries and I ordered the Green Eggs and Ham (the pesto was incredible) with the special of truffle fries! Both were flavorfully top-notch and came at a very affordable price! I'll definitely be back!!
google avatar

Julia L.

Yelp
Loved my lunch from Moxie today! Such delicious and healthy food options with generous portions! I got the vegan acorn squash torta and the green giant salad--both were yummy, very filling, and nourishing. Will definitely be coming back to try the other menu items as well
google avatar

Yelp
Dined in this time and another 5 star experience. I typically order menu items with meat but took a chance on the the lentil quinoa cauliflower bowl and it was *chef's kiss. Vibe was also on point
google avatar

Sasha T.

Yelp
Of course Moxie opened up after I moved out of Cal Hill. What a great place! We've gotten delivery from here 2x and each time we're just so impressed with the freshness and the generous portions. Yum yum yum!

Hannah B.

Yelp
Tried this out while looking for a healthy breakfast spot and this place hit the spot. Fast casual but the food is top notch and the prices are so reasonable! We had the curry and Fresno pepper frites - daily special. They were perfectly cooked and seasoned and will dream of the curry sauce. I can't wait to come back and try some more lunch items! I had to hold back from getting the lamb sandwich to go.
google avatar

Lucy M.

Yelp
I had the cauliflower, lentil salad with the cumin yogurt. It had so many good ingredients but you couldn't taste them because of the overwhelming dressing. everything tasted so strongly of vinegar. the cumin yogurt sounded promising but it was as if someone dumped a large quantity of powered cumin into yogurt. You actually couldn't taste the yogurt. When eating a salad, you should taste the vegetables and all dressings and garnishes should compliment them. This was so disappointing...
google avatar

Yelp
Walked into Moxie's at 11:30 on a Saturday because we were drawn in to the bright and airy space and SUPER friendly employee working the walk up window and host booth. Lambwich: 5/5, and exceeded all expectations!! The ciabatta bread was very soft, and the lamb was sliced in a thin kebab style and it was SO flavorful!! The greens and cucumber spread gave it a nice crunch, while the sauce pulled it all together. Already looking forward to ordering this again in the future. One of the specials was pork green chili with eggs: 5/5 again. The pork was tender and the chili was bursting with flavor. It was served over soft roasted potatoes with cheddar cheese, which I wouldn't have thought to pair together but it was indulgent and delicious. I'm a sucker for anything with eggs on it so that was truly the cherry on top for me. The walk up window was heavily trafficked while we were there, and lots of people placed orders while they were walking their dogs and got a little treat for their pup too, which was sweet. Overall a great spot that I can't wait to return to.
google avatar

Kelly B.

Yelp
This place is so good!!! In a great location in Broadway. Super cute inside. Menu is fun and everything we ordered was so good! The vegan corn soup was the best I've ever had. Chicken curry salad sandwich was fire! Watermelon salad was super refreshing.

Yelp
The very definition of "moxie" includes energy, pep, having courage, determination, and know-how. Owner Dylan Moore, his staff, and his Moxie restaurant clearly lived up to its name on my midday visit yesterday. Searching for a brunch or breakfast option near downtown Denver, we located Moxie by chance and it certainly did not disappoint. Plenty of nearby metered street parking, and some lots within an easy walk. Greeted warmly upon entering this clean and efficient restaurant, with their menu clearly displayed on a pair of easy-to-read signs above their counter along with printed menus. Options include "Moxie Morning" breakfast items (which all looked interesting, including Green Eggs and Ham, love the name), salads, soups, and sandwiches. After considerable deliberation, I opted for the Turkey Pesto sandwich, a delicious combination of turkey, pesto, roasted tomatoes, greens, and a sensational aioli sauce. Served on a house ciabatta with a tasty house pickle, it was terrific, a great blend of size and taste. Affordable, excellent customer service, clean, an overall outstanding place that I would absolutely visit again. Loved the owner's positive customer interaction, supportive ways with his staff, and the overall atmosphere of this restaurant.

Kimberly S.

Yelp
Great menu BUT proportions are way off. I went in wanting a salad so decided to get the "beets and berries" salad that's suppose to included quinoa, gorgoanzola, greens, parsley and chicken. I've never been served SO MANY BEETS. Like an unhealthy amount (Google it), with no much else of what was listed. You can see the photos - I got a second bowl to separate the beets out because it seemed like a lot and realized it's basically the whole dish.. and like a small spoonful of blueberries. I paid $25 to not only get 10 bites of a dish but when the server brought my bowl of beets back he and the chef laughed. They also forgot to bring me the other items I ordered. If you go, stick with the sandwiches, those are apparently very good.
google avatar

Aileen R.

Yelp
Moxie is super small but extremely cute. You can see the kitchen and they have a pick up window that leads to the street. Their food is so delicious. I have tried several of their sandwiches and cannot decide on my favorite.
google avatar

Yelp
Chef owner operated. This is a wonderful hidden gem with high quality ingredients and a constantly rotating menu. Massive delicious sandwiches! Extremely Hardy salads. Global cuisine at its finest. Quick serve take out window. Minimalistic decor I'll be honest is clean and efficient. One of the best places to get lunch on South Broadway. The chocolate dipped coconut macaroons are one of my favorites. The staff are so kind and accommodating. There are gluten-free dairy free vegan options always
google avatar

Jay B.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our lunch. We had the the chicken top ramen and the Lambwich. Both were excellent. We added the corn and sweet potatoes sides as well - both solid as well.
google avatar

Stephanie V.

Yelp
Holy moly moxie is so yummy! I ordered the Turkey and Brie Sandwich and the husbeast had the Chicken Top Ramen. Both of these were absolutely delicious. The Brie was so merry and yummy and perfectly paired with the turkey and fig. Just yum. The ramen was very flavorful and the noodles were the right consistency too. We got our order fast too. Highly recommend for your a WFH lunch!
google avatar

Barbara M.

Yelp
We discovered this little restaurant over the winter, and have been back many, many times for lunch. Delicious, homemade-noodle chicken-vegetable soup, and then a turkey, fig-jam, brie, pickled onion sandwich on grilled ciabatta bread with HOMEMADE PICKLE SPEARS. Oh, with aïoli as well. The people are really nice, as well, and certainly know their food. We've ordered other things to experiment a few times and while they were delicious, we go back to the soup and sandwich to share.
google avatar

Marissa N.

Yelp
Cute place for a casual breakfast. We had a group of 6 on a Saturday morning and took over the place. Lots of breakfast sandwich options and more. We had a lot of restrictions - larger group, dog, egg/gluten/nut allergy, vegetarian. Everyone was satisfied here!
google avatar

Sam B.

Yelp
2.5 Stars. This is a cute little cafe in a nice area, but the food was mediocre in my opinion. I ordered an avocado toast which came with a sunny side up egg on top. I also got a side of potato hash. My food was ok, but nothing to boast home about. My friend ordered the chicken top ramen and she had the same sentiment; she barely ate a few bites of it before saying she was done. -Service was nice and friendly. -No parking lot, so you'll have to find parking on the street or elsewhere.
google avatar

Toba Z.

Yelp
Wonderful new breakfast and lunch spot, in our hood. Dylan has been a chef/owner on S Broadway for many years, and he was missed after closing Deluxe/Delight. This place is great; my Thai chicken salad sandwich was delicious and huge! My daughter had a yummy vegan sandwich, and my spouse had the ramen with kale! Everything is fresh, flavorful and reasonable. I have now gotten carry out lunch several times, for clients and they always LOVE the food!

Christopher S.

Yelp
Amazing food. Chill vibe. Service was friendly and quick. Absolutely recommend. Everyone in the restaurant was raving about how great their meals were.
google avatar

Steven S H C.

Yelp
Yelped and here we are. Travelled miles to get here, fed meter and checked the menu and ordered few entries and they were good. Pricing was bit on high side but this is what you pay for freshly made stuff. Loved their stocked goods of fresh produce and display of baked goods. It's one of tnose, eat here and will make you feel good type of vibes you will get. Got the lox on English muffin with capers. It was refreshing combination but bit on high sode. Had few other side items but didn't really stood out much.

Erin P.

Yelp
I never dine or takeout anymore because it's just TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE these days and for the most part, food is just mediocre so when a friend asked me to meet for lunch, I begrudgingly said yes thinking I'd be spending $25 on a small plate of something that was just "fine". I was SO pleasantly surprised here! Most meals are around $12-13, LARGE portions and oh my gosh they were so delicious!! I never take home or eat my leftovers but I did tonight and had a whole other meal. Thanks, Moxie for restoring my faith in restaurants and I will definitely be back (even though you are way outside my bubble)!
google avatar

Kella P.

Yelp
Very creative and delicious. Fresh flavor. We tried falafel waffle salad, Fig Jam and Ham breakfast Sandwich, Chicken Ramen, yellow potatoes, fruit cup and Moxie Shrimp Tacos. Everything was delicious, quick, and good portions. Fruit cup pineapple was super sweet perfection.
google avatar

Carrie Q.

Yelp
So good and priced so fair! Wish it was in my neighborhood! Had lunch on the way to Botanic. .
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious breakfast & lunch spot. Reasonable prices, healthy options & mindful of dietary restrictions. I loved the green eggs and ham & my sweet potato frites. Yum! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
This is a small, quiet lunch spot on broadway with healthy options. It's pretty much just sandwiches and salads and a few soup options. I ordered the turkey pesto sandwich with a side of tomato basil soup and sweet potatoes. The sandwich was okay and the sweet potatoes were a bit dry/hard but I did enjoy the tomato basil soup. They have other fresh & interesting options on the menu so I would probably be back to try something else.  Great for a quick brunch or lunch.
