Moxies Restaurant

Last weekend, my husband and I went to Moxies—a place he first introduced me to while we were in Canada. It’s also where we took the girls, and we all absolutely loved it. So when we found out they opened one in the States and we were spending the weekend in DC, I knew we had to give it a try. I’m so glad we did! Alex was amazing—very kind, helpful, and full of great recommendations, from the food to the drinks he made for us. It was so refreshing to be at such an excellent establishment where the décor, food, service, and drinks were all outstanding. Lilly also greeted us and seated us at our preferred spot, which we really appreciated. Thank you all—we will definitely be back💜

Great new spot for a quick lunch or chill dinner if you are in the lower DuPont circle area which is was lacking an excellent plain American sports bar. Fast attentive service, tender steak sandwich, and spicy tuna roll is a must. Amazing nachos Happy hour is 2-5 pm and evening sports games are on TV all night long. Peroni on tap!

This is a beautifuly designed restaurant, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Nicole was great. The food selection is very diverse with lots of cultural fusion options. Amazing cocktail menu.

A brand new restaurant with good food and attentive service. I had the tasty Steak Sandwich ($29) this time, and plan to go back to try other items on the menu. The staff are very enthusiastic and welcoming.

Amazing first experience at Moxies! Loved the leechee cocktail and crab dip! So good! The bar was a whole vibe. Will definitely be back!

I had an amazing night with my family celebrating my dad’s birthday! Great friendly service… and WOW what a stunning bar! Excited to have this addition to our downtown restaurant scene. Thanks Moxies team!

Tried this place out after seeing they had finally opened, my coworkers recommended it and I decided to visit with my family. The inside is very visually appealing and the hosts were super lovely, greeting you with a big smile when you walk in. We sat in the dining room, which was a little quieter and more intimate. We had Grecia as our server, she gave great recommendations on drinks and food! I had the pineapple basil margarita and it was absolutely delicious. The appetizers and entrees were so yummy and the portions are generous. Come here for an unforgettable experience and flavorful food!

Food was great! I shared the tuna stack as an appetizer - very tasty! The mahi sandwich was filling and yummy- enjoyed with sweet potato fries. We had some food sensitivities at our table and our server and the manager took good care of us. Service was exceptional. I’m not a big drinker but enjoyed my Guava Cosmo. Yum, yum, yum!
