"The tickets for the rooftop at the Moxy have actually dropped for this year, making it tempting to ditch black-tie tuxedoes and snag a spot at one of Midtown’s most colorful hotels. The hotel’s rooftop bar, Magic Hour, is throwing an all-night New Year’s Eve party featuring what’s touted as an “urban amusement park” with State Fair–inspired light bites, plus an open bar and a Champagne toast at midnight; just a few blocks from Times Square, it’s one of the most affordable ways to watch the ball drop without sacrificing class." - Caitlin Morton
"In Manhattan, I suggest the Moxy Times Square as a stylish, centrally located pick that balances access with aesthetics." - Paris Wilson
"When New York City’s Moxy Times Square hotel opened for business in 2017, it wasn't exactly the city’s biggest, most luxurious, or most anticipated opening. But it still was the boldest new property in town at the time, a shot across the bow at Airbnb, with 612 obsessively designed rooms, three separate rooftop cocktail bars, two restaurants, one egg sandwich shop, and zero front desks. To help set the Times Square property apart, Moxy tapped two design-world stars to make the most of a gut-renovated, historic hotel building on 36th Street and Seventh Avenue: Yabu Pushelberg handled the guest rooms and lobby, while Rockwell Group did the restaurants. The results are simply stunning. Many rooms have plush king beds, and all come with gorgeous glazed-stone sinks and spacious rainfall showers. Other Instagrammable spaces include a tattoo parlor, an appropriately hipster barber shop, and Magic Hour, a rooftop bar complete with mini-golf course and rotating carousel."

"Opened in the summer of 2017, Moxy prioritizes combining design with having a good time. A year-round rooftop as well as several in-house restaurants and bars by the Tao Group, offer a place to unwind (or go wild) any time of day or night." - Travel + Leisure Editors
"Midtown hotel Moxy has a holiday pop-up with a pink-themed living room and a special cocktail menu at Bar Moxy." - Kayla Kumari Upadhyaya
