The 21 Best Spots to Eat and Drink on H Street

"A member of an international Neapolitan pizza association, Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, this outpost from San Francisco is serving hot, certified pies from two pizza ovens and is run entirely by deaf or hard-of-hearing workers. Communicate with servers using ASL symbols that correspond to their famous mozzarella bar on pomodoro sauce, bombolino (Italian doughnuts), eggplant Parmesan, and, of course, a wide variety of pizzas." - Emily Venezky, Mekita Rivas

Every D.C. Restaurant Featured in Netflix’s Newest ‘Somebody Feed Phil’ Season

"Over on H Street, Rosenthal brings his son Ben to the certified Neapolitan pizzeria near Gallaudet University that’s entirely run by deaf or hard-of-hearing people. Turns out, Ben’s been to its original San Francisco food truck before and now is a repeat customer. Mozzeria CEO Richard Horrell is on site to guide them through the menu via a sign language interpreter. They go with popular appetizers like its fried mozzarella “bar” plated on pomodoro and gluten-free meatballs while toasting cocktails. For pies, they try two: the Italian sausage with roasted fennel and fichi varieties — which Ronsenthal compares to a salad on a pizza. He also finds out a fun tidbit: Christin White, the former female pastry chef in the Obama White House, now leads Mozzeria’s kitchen in D.C." - Tierney Plumb

Mozzeria - Review - H Street - Washington DC - The Infatuation

"While Mozzeria’s pizza is decent, it’s how you experience the H St. restaurant that makes it worth visiting. The deaf-owned pizzeria centers deaf culture, so American Sign Language (or a lot of pointing for anyone who isn’t fluent) is used from the moment you walk through the door. There’s a small bar and dining room, which gets busy pretty quickly. A video about the restaurant—including its design that makes it easier for the staff to communicate with each other no matter where they are in the dining room and kitchen—plays on a loop above the host stand. The menu has a number of vegetarian and vegan options, plus a solid mocktail selection, including the When Life Gives You Lemons, a tart thyme lemonade served in a martini glass." - Tristiaña Hinton

A Certified Neapolitan Pizzeria That Employs Deaf Workers Opens Friday on H Street NE - Eater DC

"Mozzeria, a Neapolitan-style pizzeria from San Francisco that’s run entirely by deaf or hard-of-hearing workers, opens a new D.C. outpost tomorrow on H Street NE. The pizza shop on the ground floor of the new Baldwin apartment complex (1300 H Street NE) sells wood-fired pies, Italian cocktails, and fried bars of breaded mozzarella. The sun-filled space will start out with takeout and delivery. Customers can place orders online or at the restaurant. Opening a restaurant during a public health crisis is a feat in itself, but putting workers in protective masks presents unique challenges for Mozzeria. “It’s critical to use body language, eyebrows, and basic gestures for things like ‘good’ and ‘welcome,’” Mozzeria CEO Ryan Maliszewski says. “It’s part of our goal here to create a positive visual experience to all of our customers.” An interpreter helped Eater conduct an interview with Maliszewski, who communicated in American Sign Language. Mozzeria brought in a professor this week to conduct a gestural workshop to help employees sort out communication hurdles they may face while wearing masks. The nucleus of Mozzeria’s new shop is a 10,000-pound pizza oven with two adjoining domes. The shop’s 12-inch pies cook for about 90 seconds in 1,000-degree heat. Mozzeria is a member of the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, an international organization that certifies Neapolitan pizzerias. “I am pretty sure we are the only dual wood-burning oven in D.C. We call it the doppio beast,” Mozzeria project and operations manager Amy Salter says via an interpreter. The shop’s tile-lined ovens, handmade in Naples, will present a big photo op. A designated “selfie zone” lets customers snap a shot before walking out with their to-go orders. The 94-seat D.C. location is nearly twice the size of its 9-year-old original location in the Mission District, a hip neighborhood known for its tiny and narrow restaurants. Signature pizzas from San Francisco include a Peking duck and shiitake mushroom pie. A D.C.-specific flavor is in the works, Salter says. The opening menu on H Street includes familiar options for Italian sausage, margherita, and salumi pizzas. One best-selling appetizer coming over from the West Coast is a fried mozzarella “bar” plated on pomodoro sauce. “Not sticks, but a literal bar of mozzarella,” Salter says. “It’s just gorgeous, covered in a panko crust. It’s to die for.” Other options include eggplant Parmesan, a cheese and charcuterie platter, burrata, salads, and bombolino (Italian doughnuts). An Italian cocktail program includes an Aperol spritz, a Negroni, and a limoncello martini. The bar is stocked with local distillers One Eight, Republic Restoratives, Cotton & Reed, and Don Ciccio. In 2017, Mozzeria partnered with the CSD Social Venture Fund, the first deaf-led social venture fund in the country, with the goal of scaling the business beyond its home base in San Francisco. The H Street NE corridor was a natural pick for Mozzeria’s second restaurant due to its proximity to Gallaudet University, a liberal arts university for deaf and hard-of-hearing students; Mozzeria’s founders, couple Melody Stein and Russ Stein, also met at the university. The brand is starting out lean, with eight employees, during the pandemic. The goal is to bulk up staff with Gallaudet University students once the campus comes to life again, as well as serve lunch there from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. D.C.-based design studio CORE architecture + design employed “DeafSpace” principles with strategic window placement, lighting, and seating to maximize the visual experience for customers and employees. At Mozzeria, diners communicate with servers using ASL symbols that correspond to menu items. Starbucks opened its first U.S. Signing Store a few blocks away at 6th and H Street NE in 2018, with a requirement that all employees be proficient in ASL. Mozzeria will use GrubHub for deliveries to start but is exploring the idea of hiring a team of deaf delivery drivers to further support the community. Mozzeria has a pizza truck in San Francisco, but there are no plans to bring one to D.C. For its opening weekend, Mozzeria will operate from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday to Sunday. Limited hours going forward will be 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday with a 10 p.m. close on Friday and weekends. A weekend brunch starting at 11 a.m. includes to-go mimosa kits and a farm egg pizza with Yukon potatoes, spinach, prosciutto, brown sugar-shallots. Management plans to monitors COVID-19 stats week to week before letting diners sit inside at limited capacity. The brand is no stranger to navigating volatile environments. The San Francisco location had to close a few times when the city mandated retrofitting as a safety precaution against earthquakes. “We basically had to let go of all our employees, change hours, move everything to the truck and look for temporary locations,” Maliszewski says.” I was telling the team the other day if we can make it through this [pandemic] I feel like we can do anything,” he says. Opening over Labor Day weekend fits in with the brand’s overarching goal to generate jobs for the deaf community, he says. According to a report last year from the National Deaf Center on Postsecondary Outcomes, only 53.3 percent of deaf people ages 25 to 64 were employed in 2017, compared to an employment rate of 75.8 percent for hearing people. “We are all about changing customers’ perceptions from the minute they walk in the door,” Maliszewski says. “I want them to see that deaf people can be managers, bartenders, and pizza makers.”" - Tierney Plumb

Beautiful, clean, positive energy as soon as you walk in. I do not know ASL but the staff is extremely accommodating and nice - it was easy. The pizza was great with fresh, high quality ingredients. The garlic bread was also yummy.

Google
This place is great for pizza, and the appetizers we ordered were delicious. It's worth noting that while service fees (18%) usually replace tips or are lower than that, they make it clear here that it doesn't. Overall, still a good spot to check out. The appetizers were all very good!! Highly recommend!

Google
Outstanding place. Open and inviting atmosphere. Loved ordering with sign language. Deaf owned and run, all staff are ASL users. Felt so nice to have a place where I wasn’t the “odd one out.” Delicious meals - pizzas are individual sizes so if you go with a friend, each should order a separate one so you can try more variety. Definitely recommend the Fichi and the Buffalo chicken.

Google
Great place to eat Italian style pizza! Can't recommend the bread sticks more, extremely good. Fair prices for DC especially Wed-Fri during happy hour between 5 and 7 pm. You might notice that something is a little different in this restaurant as all of the waiters will talk to you only in sign language. The place is run by and employs deaf people. Great idea, loved the vibe and how friendly everybody was.

Google
Great pizza. They take extra care for people with gluten allergies. I highly recommend the mozz bar (gluten free). The restaurant is very clean and well organized. The staff are amazing and super friendly. My only issue are the sesame seeds, but besides that no issues. Looking forward to my next visit.

Google
Delicious brick oven pizza! Got there early on a Friday with a friend. The restaurant was clean and staff were courteous. The pizza is 'one size' perfect for 2 people. I love brick oven pizza and what we ordered did not disappoint! Our server, Dan (?), was prompt and attentive. It's another great example of the benefits of inclusivity...plus, only a short walk from the Signing Starbucks;) Excellent pizza and excellent service...definitely recommend!!

Tenn Reid

Google
Overpriced pizza and the pasta portions were extremely small. My asparagus was burnt and left a bad taste for me. I spent $100 for 4 people and was not pleased with the food!! But, it is a clean and nice atmosphere. I'm disappointed with the taste and portion size.

Google
Make this a must-do in DC. The pizza is delicious, the bread sticks are to die for, and the tiramisu is a large portion and strong! The time lemonade is strong on the tyme--in the best way. The kitchen manager is a sweetheart and so are the staff. 10/10 wish there were more of these in the states ❤️
google avatar

Fernando E.

Yelp
The service team is cool and very likable. The tiramisu is a must have ! Meat ball pizza was perfect while the other pizza are too. It is always nice to see a well running business at H street.

Yelp
We absolutely loved Mozzeria. I'm sad it took me so long to try it, but glad I finally made it. The staff is super friendly and it is easy to communicate through pointing, lip reading, and finger spelling, if you don't sign. I'm sure you could use a notes app as well. We went early in the evening, so it wasn't crowded. The streetcar is helpful in getting to and from the restaurant. We each ordered a drink and a pie, and shared breadsticks. My Strawberry Crush was refreshing and delicious. My boyfriend liked his District Diamond cocktail. The breadsticks were addictive and highly recommend ordering. Pies were great, with a perfect crust. We both really enjoyed our pizzas; me with my Margherita and him with his H Street Meatball. DC does Neapolitan-style pizza well, and Mozzeria is no exception. I'm looking forward to returning.

Yelp
We loved this inclusive place! Service was fantastic, pizza was delicious, vibe was amazing. Absolutely go visit here. Even if you don't know ASL, you can go and support this business. The employees are friendly and you can communicate.
google avatar

Lori F.

Yelp
Celiac and 3 gluten sensitives. No issues. Ordering is easy, just point. Attentive staff. Unusual but yummy pizza combinations.
google avatar

Tristan J.

Yelp
The food is amazing! I had a margherita pizza! The service is amazing, and I loved the quiet ambiance here. As a hard of hearing person myself, I felt seen here. It was so nice connecting and supporting people looked the same as me.

Yelp
Traditional Italian in the middle of DC! (Will update review with higher quality photos) If you're looking for high quality ingredients treated with respect then come here. This is the kind of pizza that the tomato sauce tastes vine fresh supported by an airy soft dough that you can only achieve with 00 flour. It does look like some pizza bottoms get cooked a little darker than what we got, but I was very happy with the balance of char. We were able to call in the order. The staff was so nice even though we did not know sign language. They have a beautiful interior and an amazing look bar. Please eat these pizzas hot out of the oven. This is not Pizza Hut where it can sit in a box for 30 minutes. Just be careful when you're walking around H street. We saw a woman peering into each car for a long time look at what was inside, a guy hopped over the fence into the front yard where we parked (didn't use a key), and a group of party people decided to start mixing liquor right outside on the hood of their car taking pictures for social media. Maybe this isn't a big deal to some, but just be smart when walking in the city.

Yelp
So, I came back two times more after being away from this place for a year. The food significantly improved. The pizza dough is no longer salty, and is made well. I can actually recommend the pizza again here. Additionally, the mozzarella bar (bar-sized sticks) were good, as were the fried eggplants, and even the pasta. The drinks are still good, especially the limoncello martini. I'm glad to see this Deaf-owned business improve the execution of the food. The prices are a bit high, but they do have happy hour deals that make coming here worthwhile.
google avatar

Tamara D.

Yelp
Better pizza options would have been nice. It was mediocre at best and a little too pricey for what I got.
google avatar

Aleksey M.

Yelp
I am not sure why they call what i was served a pizza. Underbaked floppy and has no flavor at all. Would never be back or recommend it to anyone.
google avatar

Kelly P.

Yelp
First - the pizza is amazing. Delicious, Neapolitan style wood fired pizza. You might think, 'how will I communicate with a wait staff that is deaf or hard of hearing?' Don't let this deter you! Just like any quality dining establishment, the staff works to make sure you are cared for. We signed, pointed, used a voice to text app, and wrote on a tablet to communicate. Smiles are the universal language. *chef's kiss* delicious!
google avatar

Kyle W.

Yelp
I was so glad to communicate deaf/hoh employees easy. My highest recommendation is best foods are garlic wings and breadsticks!
google avatar

Liz K.

Yelp
Wonderful pizzas and deaf friendly because the staff are deaf. They'll show you the menu and just point to what you want to order. Text your comments and you get your great service!
google avatar

Julia C.

Yelp
Mozzeria was founded by two graduates of a local university, Gallaudet, for the deaf and hard of hearing. The mission of the restaurant is to provide job opportunities for deaf people and environment to experience deaf culture. It was a very cool experience to observe a restaurant where almost everybody was communicating in sign language. They also have a tablet system that allowed me to pick up my order easily, even though I don't know any sign language. The pizza is pretty good. I didn't really taste the difference between the Margherita DOP and the regular Margherita, and wouldn't order it again. We also ordered a four cheese. My favorite was the fig pizza. We ordered four pizzas to split between five people, and I think we really needed at least one pizza per person. Neopolitan pizzas are light and thin.
google avatar

Genesis D.

Yelp
Pizza and all other items' flavors were delicious. Service was great and accommodating of our lil ones with some coloring items. Love the big oven inside! It was great to show my lil ones while waiting for our food.

Michelle M.

Yelp
This is the best restaurant I've ever been to. The food is delicious, the staff is super-friendly, it is clean and there is pleasant music. I ordered a fichi pizza which had chèvre, hot pepper, balsamic, arugula and peony flower petals! It was mouthwatering. We also learned to sign a bit and will definitely be back. A+

Blueflame G.

Yelp
The food was absolutely amazing! Especially the pizza! The pizza is flavorful and decent and tastes so delicious! The staff were the nicest people I have ever met and I'm not joking. They are so patient and kind. I highly recommend this place and would recommend it to all. Some of the best pizza I have ever had. The restaurant has a very warm and calm feeling.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
The space is open and inviting, and the staff are great! We've gotten pizza here a few times and it's always been good. My favorite pizza is the meatball pizza. I like ricotta on a pizza, but this herbed ricotta was on another level! It really added something to the pie. My husband really likes the salumi. The sesame seeds seem a little weird to me, but he likes them. I do wish they had a simple pepperoni pizza, since sometimes you just need a good pep pizza. Either way, I will definitely be back! Great neighborhood spot!

Mackenzie Y.

Yelp
I came here as a tourist and mind you I am only maybe six to eight hours away from the original location but haven't been able to go. The pizza is worth the hype the staff were super kind and incredibly knowledgeable. I love the mocktail options and pizza was delicious. The bartender was super kind and gave me some local recommendations in town. If I'm back in DC I will stop by again. Although the music choice may be a little odd the staff won't mind. I came into classical music and left with kind of unusual Disney remix music covers playing but I had a great time.
google avatar

Dona P.

Yelp
Fabulous place with astoundingly professional staff who make you feel comfortable wether you can sign or not! The ingredients used are TOP quality and the cocktails are fabulous... we did a gluten free buffala mozzarella (from bison milk!) and tomato pizza, plus the goat cheese and mushrooms- both on gluten free crusts. My only dinged star (but I take responsibility for not asking)- is I like my crust to be BAKED (i.e. burnt lol)- so I should have asked for extra well done and clarified I didnt mind at all if it looked unappetizing to others LOL - we'll go back !
google avatar

Daria M.

Yelp
That was really taste Margherita pizza and beautiful deaf ASL! Mozzeria is best ASL restaurant like Starbucks ASL!
google avatar

Soraya Z.

Yelp
Mozzeria on H St for a quick dinner Friday after work. -Didn't have a reservation, but got a table immediately -Staff uses sign language (host, server, bartenders). I love that there is a place, esp near Gallaudet, that provides more employment options for people who are deaf -I got a glass of Verdicchio del castelli di jesi classico. Very acidic but decent for the price. But still wouldn't order again. -Salumi pizza: salt/bread ratio done very well. Soft and semi bread-y crust for a Neapolitan pizza, which is actually my preference. Definitely my favorite part of the meal. -I forget the name of the second pizza we ordered. But it had sweet potato puree and arugula. I was notttt a fan. It didn't have complimenting flavors and felt vaguely like baby food. Poor ordering choice on our end, but we wanted to try something different.
google avatar

Bunny Z.

Yelp
This place is a bit pricey but the food is absolutely delicious. We had the Mozz Bar and the Margharita pizza. Was soo yummy and our waitress was so nice! This pizza is way better than a pizza chain place!
google avatar

Jason S.

Yelp
(4.5 stars) I'm such a fan, and not just because I love the concept and support it's mission. The food is real solid, and if you want a low key meal intimate meal, definitely consider this place. It's quiet and you're not rushed at all. Obsessed with the Georgetown salad, loved the breadsticks, and can't wait to get the pesto pizza again.
google avatar

sarah v.

Yelp
Lovely staff and servers. Ambiance is great inside the restaurant. Visited on a Thursday at 6:45pm. Ordered two pizzas with my partner and they were both delicious, especially my fig jam arugula pizza. We will definitely be back! We love supporting small businesses in our community.
google avatar

Heather R.

Yelp
Dinner was great! The service was amazing. My daughter is taking ASL 1 and I'm an ASL/English interpreter we had a great time chatting with the server and eating great food. We look forward to going back with the whole family. And thank you for making really good gluten-free pizza!

Alicia K.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing service and DELICIOUS unique pizzas. My friends and I do not know sign language but it was so so cool to see so many people signing. Great environment!

Andi S.

Yelp
This place is delicious! And vegan friendly. We ordered takeout for a lazy evening and the food was hot and fresh when it arrived. Highly recommend the breadsticks and pizza - again modifications can be vegan
google avatar

Donta W.

Yelp
So my girlfriend and I were on our way to Kitchen Cray, which we love but when I dropped her off to park she said their was a pizza place across the street and the menu online looked pretty good so we decided to go there. We were unaware that the entire staff was hearing impaired. But that made the experience soooo much better. We both learned a lot as we waited for our food YouTube phrases. Our waiter and the manager entertained our attempts to sign. They were both sooo pleasant and the food was REALLY GOOD. We will definitely be back
google avatar

Kassie B.

Yelp
woa'!!! what an -absolutely amazing- experience!!! the whole premise of the use of asl: american sign language, deaf owned, delectable food, beautiful ambiance...what more do you need???! the servers can speak if needed. so, it is defly well worth stopping for! the pizza to die for! gluten free option available. the apps! all excellent! pop in & try the food for yourself! i guarantee you won't regret it! loved my time d.c.

Yasmin V.

Yelp
This is so amazing place!! I was like wow!! This is so pizza in a restaurant and look so delicious! They're having a sign language with pizza it's so fabulous! I love it!
google avatar

Austin G.

Yelp
Mozzeria is the latest shop in Washington, D.C. riding the city's pizza craze. It opened on the corner of H Street and 13th Northeast in one of the new buildings popping up in the historic district. They make certified Neapolitan pizza. Originally based in San Francisco, this is their second shop in the country. A few things to love about it: 1) Ethos: It's a deaf-owned business employing people who are deaf in the city. 2) Pizza: It's really good. I ordered the salumi pizza and it was tasty and had the right amount of kick to it. The only thing I will say is it's pricey. My pizza filled just me up and it was $20.

Jeff N.

Yelp
Delicious pizza made in hand-made pizza ovens from Naples, Italy. Service is top notch too! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Jalina D.

Yelp
I loved their San Francisco restaurant & stopped by DC one. I enjoyed their mozz bar! Their Margherita pizza is always so delicious. A champ Deaf-owned restaurant! The service is always great.
google avatar

LaDonna L.

Yelp
This is my 2nd time eating here and I love it! The service is absolutely top tier; everybody from the host, to the waiter, to the bartender, and the cook were so friendly. I would come back for the service alone. The food is also really good; The best thing on the menu are the wings. I also ordered the salad and their version of pepperoni pizza for my son. The salad was OK; the only thing I didn't like was the amount of prosciutto on the salad. It was a large salad however there was more meat than actual greens. The pizza was pretty good as well; It's a fairly nice size and they were generous of the toppings. I also ordered an espresso martini; I loved it however the taste of the coffee is really strong so, if like more of a sweet espresso martini or a sweet drink in general, this is probably not for you. This martini with straight espresso and vodka Overall, I love this place! It's a very chill and laid-back atmosphere and everybody is very attentive.
google avatar

Andrew S.

Yelp
Delicious bubbly and a welcoming environment! Definitely check out daily desserts and the bread with the white garlic sauce mmm. Really friendly staff and cool to watch your pizza being made, all for a great price. Definitely will be going back soon!
google avatar

Captain C.

Yelp
Good atmosphere and food is excellent. The bread sticks with garlic cream sauce an the lamb meatballs are outstanding. BE WARE of the 18% "service charge" that is completely hidden and not listed anywhere until you get the check. Shame on you!
google avatar

Kristine L.

Yelp
MOZZERIA PIZZA IS FANTASTIC! Came on a Saturday evening and was seated immediately outside on their cute side street patio. Although no one in my party knew ASL, we were able to still communicate through gestures, pointing at the menu, and learning a few common signs like "thank you," "please," and "napkin." We ordered the mushroom, gorgonzola, and margherita pizzas. The Gorgonzola was the best out of the three and I highly recommend! The balsamic, cheese, and arugula gave off amazing flavors. The crust was also soft and chewy with a hint of wood-fire. Great staff, amazing pizza, and an all around good time!

Gina S.

Yelp
Awesome pizza in a beautiful restaurant with a spectacular staff! We had a great evening. The Georgetown salad was perfectly dressed and so fresh! The Eggplant Parmigiana is Heaven on a plate! We all had pizza and each one was great, Close your eyes and you could be in Naples, Italy. All the drinks were good but the Italian in Manhattan was the best. My sister is hard of hearing and signs so she was able to interpret for me but the hearing guests were happy as could be in this deaf-owned restaurant. The staff were so friendly that the other patrons quickly engaged each other. This is a must visit if you are in the area. Thank you Mozzeria, I can't wait to return!
google avatar

Billie K.

Yelp
Wanted to practice sign here with my daughter. The signs said they opened at 4, so we came back and waited. We signed through the door and thought they said 5 more minutes. We walked around a bit and came back. After waiting 10 minutes in the rain with a toddler I with no sign of being acknowledged I decided to check the internet. Turns out they don't open until 5. Communication would have been nice. I've had their food before in the past while working on shows so I know it's great. It just would have been nice to be redirected in the moment. New signs would be helpful or even just a post it note with the new hours. Thanks in advance.
google avatar

Nisha P.

Yelp
This is a very welcome addition to H Street! Mozzeria's staff was so friendly and easy to communicate with. The outdoor seating area is pet-friendly so we sat outside with our pup and enjoyed a couple drinks and their delicious pizza. I highly recommend the mushroom pizza.
google avatar

Bobbi D.

Yelp
Such an awesome spot! It's a deaf-inclusive space with amazing pizza! If you don't sign, use your phone to help you write what you want to say. It's also a fun experience for kids - they get to watch the pizza being made! There's also a large space for meetings and/or parties. We've been a couple times and will definitely be back!

Jarred M. J.

Yelp
Mozzeria was a great experience! The pizza and quality were top notched. Highly recommend. I was greeted warmly and seated promptly, not to mention the restaurant was clean and staff were courteous.

JoAnn V.

Yelp
Stopped here on recommendation of staff at Atlas Performing Arts Center just across the street. Had two pizzas - a traditional one and the white pizza with sausage. Both were great, as were the wings. Service was spot on and we enjoyed the open kitchen with a view of the oven. Will return here again soon to try pasta dishes and more apps. Super convenient to Atlas, so consider this a great place to dine after a show.
google avatar

William H.

Yelp
Such a warm welcome from the beginning. Walking into this business we were welcomed by the proudly deaf waiters and waitresses that showed us immediately to our table. Pizza was amazing, very crunchy and thin. Also located on the main H street strip, came here for my friends birthday we had a ball. Will definitely be back

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant with delicious pizza! The first thing you notice when you walk in is the beautifully laid out and bright restaurant with an eye-catching dual pizza oven. All the staff is either deaf or hard of hearing. I know a little ASL so I was able to order using sign but don't be intimidated if you don't because they have ways of communicating with everyone!! We ordered the Italian Sausage pizza. The pizza is a neapolitan style pizza which I believe means it's the type of crust and the type of tomatoes and cheese that are used.... whatever the definition, I'm not sure I will be satisfied with any other type of pizza again. The crust was thin and crispy and the toppings were extremely flavorful!! Great restaurant, great staff, great food!!

Yelp
This place is nicely decorated inside and out. They had some great happy hour deals. It utilizes the toast tab system or order. Water was served right away. Some of the wait staff are members of the hearing impaired/deaf community. Honestly the service was so good, so I'd like be more likely to dine at a place with members of the deaf community again. We enjoyed the pizza, salad, and drinks and would be back. The white sausage pizza was favorite. I appreciate the staff was able to understand my sign language knowledge of letters. (No sign Language is needed to dine here, but it was a plus for me to try.)

Yelp
The eggplant was the best eggplant parmigiana that I have eaten in my life. The service was impeccable and friendly.

Yelp
This place is horrible! Last week or two, I decided to my take my family out to Mozzeria for reservation and as soon we got there I noticed our reservation table wasn't cleaned, waiters was nowhere to be found excepted the workers working in the pizza place. Too many mosquitoes around and did bit on several of my family members. I asked to see the boss Rafi Diaz but said he was out for Covid and I don't see any Bosses around. The waiters was on their phone and one of them doing the most work than all. There was this black dude who works there I like him he is very humble and lowkey. I like how he did my pizzas every time I brung myself or the family over. That black young fella rocks!! That Spanish dude definitely smooth too keep going brother!!

Yelp
I came here solely based on the name and left with a new favorite pizza place. The dough is unbelievably good. The sauce is divine. The mozzarella is amazing. I absolutely loved it. My wife and I split the Margarita and it was gone in seconds. My brother got the four cheese pizza and said it was really good! Not only is the food delicious but the staff in unbelievable friendly and dedicated to making sure you enjoy your meal. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some late night pizza. 10/10
