Mr. Aaron's Goods - Review - East Nashville - Nashville - The Infatuation

"Any breakfast sandwich can have bacon or sausage, but Mr. Aaron’s brings out the pork roll, and our mornings (and some of our afternoons) haven’t been the same since we found it. Sliced not-too-thick and not-too-thin, that gorgeous pork is stacked up atop folded eggs and gooey american cheese. Adding a hash brown patty and their signature SPK (salt, pepper, ketchup) is a non-negotiable with this one—it grants a perfect reprieve from all the richness." - Ann Walczak

Google
Might be the best bagel in Nashville. Crust, crumb texture is outstanding. Schmear to blagel ratio is perfect. Breakfast sammichs including pork roll is also an option and are delicious.

Google
This is hands down the best bagel, and certainly bagel sandwich, in Nashville. Mr. Aaron's is a blessing to my weekend mornings, and fills a hole in my cold northeastern heart. I love that they have this space now; it's a perfect spot. No notes, keep killing it.

Google
Honestly, the best dam bagel in town. We are visiting and stumbled across this place on a random morning. The food, service, experience, and flavor were all 10/10. Could rival NY bagels any day.

Google
I love a good bagel. I never buy store bought because they are not the same. Aaron’s makes amazing bagels and SHMOTHERS them in cream cheese. I’m not a massive fan of “cheese with a side of bread” but overall I will absolutely come back for more because the ingredients are so delicious. No big deal for me to scrape off a little of the excess “schmear” as they call it. Just a personal preference, nothing to do with quality. This place has amazing food. I do wish they were a little more welcoming and warm as a staff… but their food saved the day.

Google
My favorite bagel in Nashville. So soft. Perfect. I would love to see an onion or garlic bagel make an appearance. Pictured is the lox on everything.

Google
Scallion cream cheese is top notch. Vibes are on point, support good local business. The harsh critic in me says the bagels are more like soft dinner rolls in texture and taste, and lack blistering on the exterior. That may come down to personal bagel preference.

Google
Been here twice now. I’m not sure I’ve had a better egg sandwich. The added hash browns on the sandwich is well worth the up charge. Only small critique is that it can be slow at times, waited almost 40 minutes for two egg sandwiches on a Saturday morning. Just wish they were open earlier during the week!

Google
We loved it so much that went twice while visiting Nashville. Delicious bagels and lovely staff.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of visiting Mr. Aarons Goods in Nashville, and it was fantastic! I tried the LOX and the Sausage, Egg & Cheese breakfast bagel, you can immediately tell all the ingredients are fresh! The flavors stand out, and you can immediately taste the quality. Their bagels are on par with any famous New York bagel--perfectly chewy and delicious. The service is quick and efficient. You order and pay right at the counter, and then pick up your food once it's ready. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. I loved the open kitchen style, which adds a fun, dynamic vibe to the place. We had to wait 10-15 min, but we didn't mind it. People were lining up on Saturday which can only mean that this place is well-known for its good bagels! Despite the long line, the seating area had plenty of space for everyone. It's a busy spot, but still a great place to relax and enjoy your meal. If you're in Nashville and craving a great bagel, Mr. Aarons Goods is a must-visit!

Yelp
Thx to Eater I went this morning. I love bagels but rarely eat them so I was really hoping this was going to be great and IT WAS!!! Toasted everything bagel with 1/2 plain and 1/2 scallion. Next time I'll go 100% scallion. Bagel was deliciously seasoned top and bottom. Great cold brew. Wish they had a SF syrup but the oat milk did the trick. Free parking to boot.

Yelp
This pop up shop has bagels that are Jersey girl approved! They are fluffy and delicious, even though they're on the small side. They feature lots of creative flavors and shmears. Hashbrowns are SO crispy, be sure to add one to your order. This is also one of the only spots in the east side to grab a good bagel, so definitely take advantage when you can!

Yelp
Bagels here are top notch. They are on the softer side if that's what you're going for which means when you bite down all the cream cheese won't fall out the sides lol.

Yelp
When I say this is the best bagel I've had in my life, I really do mean it. Beautiful bright sunny space, coffee / drinks are SUPER affordable and their breakfast sandwiches in particular are insanely delicious. My personal favorite was the everything bagel, the balance of toppings is perfect and I love the big flaky salt on top. My personal favorite sandwich was the BEC with a hashbrown added. Staff are super nice and helpful and even when it was busy things came out fast. Will be back many more times.

Yelp
This place is so delicious, the bagels were perfectly made, the price is very reasonable for the massive lox bagel and it's a great atmosphere. Will be back!!

Yelp
I was really impressed with Mr. Aaron's bagel effort. Crispy on the outside and chewy (not "bready") on the inside. This is really the first place I have found "true east coast" type bagels. There are other good bagel shops like H&S, Proper Bagel, etc. This place is a standout. I would also like to give a shout out to their fresh pasta and sauces, dips, other kitchen pantry ephemera that is available- that must be "the goods". Parking is difficult and it's not exactly in the city but it's worth the drive if you REALLY want a top notch bagel.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast sandwiches! The SEC and pork roll are to die for. Also their hash browns are 10/10! Great service.

Yelp
Hands down the best bagel in Nashville. Got the lox and the cinn sugar with plain cream cheese for the little one. We Crushed them both.

Yelp
Lovely bagel (and such) spot. We stopped in on a Saturday mid-morning and received very friendly service, excellent bagels, and free coffee(!). I tried the everything bagel with cream cheese to start but I'm excited to go back and try their cool ranch bagel or cream cheese. My husband had a breakfast bagel sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese. The sausage was very good. It's located in the same space as TKO. Modern, nice plants, and it was kid-friendly. I'd recommend checking it out! We'll be going back.

Yelp
The Italian on a pizza bagel (covered with a crispy mix of low moisture mozzarella and provolone) was stacked meticulously with Caprese, Genoa, Pepperoni, Provolone, shredded lettuce, thinly sliced red onion, sliced sport peppers, and finished with oil & vinegar. What a treat! The bagel was the chewy texture you crave. Aaron and his team are super friendly and the TKO dining room is comfortable with plenty of natural light, foliage, earth tones, and tasteful art. Highly recommend! This is a small business that you should choose over big money operations brought into Nashville that are homogenizing the country and making it tough for small businesses to sustain and grow the character of a city.

Yelp
Great place and was very needed in East. They have great fresh pastas and great bagels. You can either order ahead or you can walk up and see what is available that day.

Yelp
If you like bagels, you should go! The sausage egg and cheese is the bomb! Soooo yummy. Try the pizza bagel if they aren't sold out.

Samantha L.

Yelp
Never in my 32 years of life have I eaten a bagel not toasted or without something on it.... The Jalapeno cheddar bagel didn't even make to to my house I ate it that fast in the car ride home!!! I'll make sure to order more than one next time. Can't wait to try other items on the menu.

Yelp
Came here a few times to get bagels and cream cheese. Just went today and they've updated their menu to more elevated bagels! They were DELICIOUS! Everything was cooked to perfection. There is nothing better than when common dishes are done right. The saltiness in the bagel is just *chefs kiss*. Definitely a more of a grab and go type place but can't wait to keep coming back!! Yelp
If I could give this place 6 stars or 10 stars or 100 stars I would. Quite possibly the best bagels I've ever had, made fresh daily via wok. The everything bagel is always my go to, and it's divine. Fresh smears if you like. Extremely nice owners, great service. Everything on the menu is delicious; you really can't go wrong. The SEC (sausage, egg, & cheese) is my go to for breakfast; the Italian or BLT are the sammies I go for at lunch. Fresh made pasta is in the fridge beyond the register. Grab the meatball or granny sauce to go with the pasta, if available. I almost forgot to mention the pizza bagel is pretty swell as well. They operate out of TKO, and there is plenty of seating if you'd like to dine in. Be advised that they do frequently sell out of items, so go earlier rather than later. I'm grateful this place is in my neighborhood!

Yelp
My husband and I drove over from hendersonville because we saw the bagel sandwich special they had ON IG. Sausage burger on sesame or your voice (we got everything bagel) with all the stuff. It's inside tko - which we've only ever had via delivery, and is always bomb. Super good and def plan to come back, hopefully when the bar is going too, I think that may be later in the day. Also the gripps or grippos (spelling?) chips were full of bbq flavor- so it and get a Mexican coke too.

Siobhan B.

Yelp
These bagel sandwiches are a 10/10. We got this week's gyro special- which was creative and flavorful- albeit messy! And we also got a BLT on a cheddar jalapeño bagel, at the suggestion of who I think might have been Mr. Aaron himself- which was also amazing. I am originally from NY and as my husband will tell you, I'm a huge bagel snob but Mr. Aaron met every expectation and then some. Highly recommend.

Elizabeth N.

Yelp
Oh my gosh wow! I found this spot on my drive home & hadn't heard of it. The fried green tomato pimiento bagel sandwich was arguably the best bagel sandwich I have ever had. The bagel was perfectly done- not crunchy or too chewy and had the perfect amount of heat with chili oil and hot honey. I might go back tomorrow to get it again, 10/10!

Adam G.

Yelp
Best breakfast I've had since moving to TN 8 years ago. Cheddar jalapeño bagel was divine, and the seasoned hashbrown was a delicious and unexpected twist. Good service, chill feel to the place as well. I'll be back many more times!

Yelp
Phenomenal in every way. Their Hachi Machi custom coffee blend is absolutely delicious. It's a very dark roast but still has a touch of acidity and plenty of complexity. It's not the trendy, sour garbage that has taken over some coffee spots. The bagels have a delicate, shiny outer crust with a chewy inside as they should. The space is open with natural light. Mr Aaron is a delight. He's friendly, down to earth and extremely affable. I will tell everyone I know to visit Mr Aaron's.
