The south Lincoln sibling adds comfy booths and a full dine-in rhythm to the brand’s broad Chinese menu. Regulars come for sizzling plates, Taiwanese noodles, and family-style spreads. Consistently recommended alongside the original by local critics.

this restaurant is a must. The service was Great and the food was amazing. The portion sizes were huge. We were visiting Lincoln when we stopped here for lunch and I guarantee every time we come to Lincoln this will always be a stop for us.

A Salty, Crispy Obsession! Mr. Hui's is a gem! Having lived all over the US, I can confidently say their salted crispy chicken is unique and utterly addicting. Seriously, I keep coming back for more. The portions are just right, and the cash deals make it even better on the wallet. While I've enjoyed their salted crispy frog legs, shrimp, and crab, the chicken reigns supreme in my book. Don't forget to ask for extra chicken – you won't regret it! Their homemade hot mustard is a revelation – delicious and surprisingly effective for clearing the sinuses! Mr. Hui's offers so much more than just their incredible salted crispy chicken (though that alone is worth the visit!). Their beef broccoli is the best I've had anywhere. I've also ventured into some of their more unique dishes and been thoroughly impressed. The squid and pork is a flavorful surprise, the seafood delight lives up to its name, and the pork with black beans is a comforting classic done right. Even their Szechuan chicken packs a delicious punch. But let's be real, the salted crispy chicken is the star. And that homemade hot mustard? Don't leave without trying it! Fun fact there is a MR HUI’ S in Little Rock also!

The food is great and the workers are kind. Both times I have been at this location, luck (if you could call it that) has been on my side and I’ve been in the restroom waiting for a stall as workers are coming out of the stalls themselves. BOTH times, neither workers washed their hands. Very unsanitary and against every health code. Doesn’t matter if they were cleaning or going themselves, it’s disgusting. It’s one of my favorite spots but it sickens me to eat here now knowing that they do not care to have clean hands.

Very and I mean very good, all the food in my and my family’s opinion is good, the service was great they were kind, very fast with how long it took to get the food on the table and hot and fresh

I moved away from Lincoln and hadn’t been here for a long time. Things change over time, but I think Mr Hui’s may have gotten even better than I remembered. Food cooked nice and crunchy, fresh, no frozen onions in the fried rice, great decorations and incredibly friendly staff. A good mix of classic Chinese American dishes and some very authentic ones as well. AND if you dine in you get a free mahfuggin ice cream! Heck yeah! 10 stars for quality Chinese experience!

Google
I've been going here and the original location for years. The food has always been amazing. Thanks for the great service. The one thing I would say is you guys really should open the space up more inside. It's really dark and not inviting. I always eat out but it would be great to have a clearer and more bright space! Thanks guy.

Google
Big fan of this place. The breading is a little different than other places but the crab rangoons are my favorite out of every place I've been. The fries rice also has a good amount of vegetables and onion in it- giving it much more flavor than many other competitors. Place is solid, id eat here a lot more if I wasnt so far away.

Google
Mr. Hui’s #2 is my favorite Chinese take out. Their food is always consistently good and plenty! Not to mention their carry out is so quick. And I love that they always double check my order to ensure it’s correct. Also, discount if you pay in cash! Check out their cash family meal deals. The Peanut Butter Chicken and Combination Mei Fun is top tier!

Yelp
Was greeted at the door with a smile. Seated almost right away. It was pretty busy. Food was good.

Yelp
Shared parking lot with other shops. We were seated immediately once we walked in. There are a variety of seats, tables, booths and even little rooms available. Hubby ordered a tsing tao beer and I ordered a jasmine tea They played instrumental music. And it was very nice. Appetisers came very quickly and it was delicious. The spring rolls were crispy and fresh. The soup had good flavour with bamboo shoots, mushroom and egg. I ordered sizzling frog and hubby ordered kungpao chicken Both were delicious. My sizzling frog had a coating of batter and was crispy; it had a delicious garlic shallot sauce on a sizzling hot plate. It had mushrooms, peppers, onions, broccoli and snow peas. The flavour was fantastic. Hubby's kungpao chicken was a little sweet but overall good. We will be back for more. I loved it.

Yelp
So apparently has been 11 months since our previous here. Doing a variety of shrimp and veg combinations. Water drinks. We the only customers now 1130a. Was 5 minutes and our selections arrived and is wonderful good.

Yelp
Had a very nice dinner with my wife. We started with spring rolls and hot n sour soup. Both were wonderful. She had sizzling frog and I choose the Kung poa chicken. Both delicious. The dining room was clean and spacious and the staff very attentive and pleasant.

Yelp
Yuki and the staff do an incredible job here! Service is always personable and friendly, along with excellently cooked dishes. I can't stop singing the praises of their Kung Pao Chicken (my fav in the country) and their Chicken with Mixed Vegetables. Stop by for the (consistently) best Chinese in town!
google avatar

Anna S.

Yelp
Pretty bland in flavor for the other dishes we got and then the Mongolian beef sauce was very thick and overpowering. Server was nice though and atmosphere wasn't bad either.

Yelp
Chinese food is my favorite food of all time. I love trying new places. But in Lincoln I always go back to a place in town that has been my favorite place for over a decade. I'm not going to name that place here even though it is wonderful. Because, Mr. Hu's 2 just knocked it right out of the top spot. Mr. Hu's 2 shattered my expectations regarding how good Chinese food can be in Lincoln. Let's start with the absolute best. I love hot and sour soup. I get it everywhere I go and it is the staple dish that I Judge the ability of the restaurant against. This was the best hot and sour soup I've ever eaten in my whole life. the only other soup that has even come close I found is in Chinatown in Los Angeles. And this easily surpassed that. It comes in a huge bowl that they told me could feed six people. Well I ate 5 cups of it myself. Next time I go, it will be my entrée. My family literally told me to shut up about the soup while we were eating because I wouldn't stop going on about it. The rest of the food was pretty great too. The crispy duck was incredibly crispy. It had flavors that were layered. You would get lemon grass upfront and then garlic and ginger as you chewed. The beef and hot oil had that authentic taste that you just don't get around here in Nebraska. The only thing we had that I wouldn't call a 10 out of 10 was the crazy spicy chicken. It was fine but it was not spicy and it was a bit dry because it didn't have a sauce on it. The ambience is also pretty good. My family and I got seated at a big round table that was semi private to the rest of the restaurant. It had one of those big glass Lazy Susan's in the middle. So you can load up the entrées on that and everyone can take a plate and then just turn it to serve yourself from the smorgasbord that you over ordered. The portions are huge. We ended up taking home an entire extra meal and leftovers. The food itself seems a little pricey until you realize the mass quantities you were getting for that price. The servers were 100% on point. Any time my glass of water was even halfway empty they were there refilling it. They were friendly and on the spot with anything you needed. This has become a new favorite and staple of our Lincoln dining. Trust me, get the hot and sour soup.

Yelp
The food is amazing. I have never ordered anything from here that wasn't delicious. The prices are fair.

Yelp
Great service and food. Huge portions and great crab rangoons. I have the pineapple chicken as it was a weekly special. Would eat there again.

Erik Y.

Yelp
Very very good food and outstanding service , best in town I would highly recommend all the friend and family!

Yelp
We love this place! The best crab Rangoon around. It came out within 3 minutes after we ordered They had an abundance of creamy filling. Not a thick dried out filling like I have experienced at other Chinese restaurants. I ordered Orange Chicken. It was piping hot and the orange sauce had a fresh orange zest and peel. It smelled wonderful and tasted even better. My husband was somewhat reluctant to eat here because he thinks Chinese buffets are what he needs. (Insert eye roll.) He ordered Triple Delight and loved it. The brown sauce had the right amount of spices. The shrimp were plump and cooked to perfection and the broccoli was also perfecto. Huge portions! Lastly, the iced tea was the best. I'm very picky about my tea. I can't end my review without saying the server was awesome. They are always friendly and very attentive.
google avatar

Jerrad S.

Yelp
Lunch specials here are great! They give you plenty of food including an egg roll and a crab Rangoon. I had the Hunan beef, a bit spicy just how I like. Service is good. There's fish that watch you eat, I think they're making sure you eat all of your vegetables so you can grow big and strong like them. I'll be coming back again.
google avatar

Leonor A.

Yelp
The tofu tasted great and came in a huge serving with rice. I was slightly disappointed that it wasn't spicy, but I'll make sure to specifically ask for this next time. Overall, great service + food + inexpensive!

Yelp
Mr Hui #2 is a favorite @ our house. Fresh food perfectly prepared with reasonable prices just cant be beat. Aff a clean and neat dining room and a friendly staff and you have a great experience
google avatar

Yelp
I did online order & pick up from Mr Huis. The website was easy to use, and the price was very reasonable for the amount of food I got. Pick up was quick and the people working were nice. The restaurant was a lot larger than I thought it would be and not too busy for a Friday night. The food was great. I thought the crab Rangoon had a lot of flavor and was perfectly crispy. The chicken was yummy and I got a huge portion. The fried rice was my favorite. It was SUPER fresh with lots of perfectly cooked veggies. Additionally, I have so much extra for leftovers. i would definitely recommend & i can't wait to go back and try more!

Yelp
Really enjoyed the food here and the ambiance as well. We had a larger party and had our own little "room". They don't serve "family style" in the traditional way Chinese restaurants do, so we had to ask them to bring plates for us to share.

Yelp
We went on a little Sunday drive from Bellevue and our kiddo wanted Lo Mein, so we hopped on Yelp and this place was nearby. We went at an odd time, around 2 so we were the only ones in there but when we asked the very nice waitress how her day was she said, "It's okay. It's been very slow." It could be that a lot of people are busy on Sundays, but this place was so good that it deserves to stay busy! We ordered an app (the fried dumplings) 2 dishes (Crispy spicy chicken & Mandarin Beef) and an order of Beef Lo Mein for a family of 4 to share and it was more than enough, we have leftovers! Not only was the food wonderful but the staff was very nice and attentive. We have food allergies and they were very accommodating and reassured us that the foods we ordered would come without the foods we can't have. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Solomon H.

Yelp
A local chain owned locally & one of the chef is in the kitchen crew taking care of business. The food is a bit more authentic compared to other Chinese fast food restaurants in town. Offering any of the food being cooked without MSG & gluten free. Give the place a try & you will not be disappointed. The hostess, Yuki is always friendly & accommodate your what your eating preferences if any ie. Peanut allergy. Most of the times, the order comes from take outs but don't be surprised when your food orders come in the Jiffy & piping hot from the woks. The ambiance is a typical Chinese restaurant- some booths and open tables with TV on & aquarium. Children friendly. Give this place a try & I will not be surprised that you will be returning again to try another dish or two.

Yelp
Went inside to order takeout. Food was ready for me under 10 minutes. It was made fresh. Delicious! My only complaint is that they gave me a fortune cookie that had no fortune inside, lol.

Laquierra B.

Yelp
The food was great. I had Orange chicken with white rice . When I tell you it was the best Chinese food I've had, being from Chicago . This is the best !!! Flavor was wonderful and fried rice was cooked to perfection. Job well done . I will be back .

Yelp
We rotate through the same 3 Chinese places every time but wanted to try something new, and I'm so glad we did! The food was delicious and really hit the spot! The tofu with crispy bean blend was delish...it's lightly floured soft tofu flash fried with crunchy salty bean garnish sprinkled all over the top. I will eat this again and again! The salted crispy chicken is awesome and lived up to its name. It's subtly seasoned with Five Spice and really tasty. The General Tso's chicken medium spicy wasn't hot at all, so next time I'd order hot. Because we got delivery, the chicken was a little soggy, but the flavor was great. When we're allowed to dine in again, I'm sure it will be perfect! One sad tear that they don't have lemon chicken on the menu, but there are so many amazing dishes available that it doesn't even matter. Next time I'm getting that tofu again, and I won't forget to order a milk tea!!

J T.

Yelp
Food and service were fantastic. I had scallops and shrimp with vegetables, cooked perfect with many scallops and shrimp. Also had steamed buns and spring rolls for appetizers, both excellent. All food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasted great, had great color presentation, and the meal was a large helping needing a to go box. I don't remember what my daughter had for her main meal, but she also said hers was excellent. We've never been disappointed here for good food and service. Will return.

Ed W.

Yelp
First time there after a friend recommended and wow was I disappointed! Originally told the waitress I wanted one of three chicken dishes at which point she went into how unhealthy those three options were since the chicken was fried. I thought this was kind of odd, but not too concerning. She said this three times, so I decided to try the Curry Chicken instead. The flavor was nice, but the chicken was TOTALY disgusting. It did not in any way have the texture you'd expect from meat, but instead was mushy. I initially told her it needed to be cooked more, but she said it is dipped or covered in corn starch to make it soft. If I had my eyes closed, I would not have been able to tell the chicken from the other soft or stewed vegetables. Even after I got home last night, I felt nauseous when thinking about it. I've never had chicken with this texture before...and never will again. When I left my plate was still 3/4 full and she never asked me if I wanted to take it with me...assumed she knew I did not want it. I should have had her return it and ordered something else. I probably will not go there again after this experience.

Yelp
The family doesn't agree on much when it comes to where to eat, but everybody likes Mr. Hui's.

Yelp
The ordering experience about led to me walking out. We drove across town after seeing a coupon on their website for a free order of crab rangoon with 2 entrees. The manager, who took our order, refused to honor it and insisted it is for phone takeout orders only even though the poorly written coupon does not say it is only valid for takeout. I cancelled the additional takeout entree we ordered and will not be retuning. The food was tasty and portions were good, but I don't like being misled. She would have made an additional $8-10 beyond the coupon food cost on our takeout item alone had she honored the coupon. Cut off your crab to spite your rangoon I guess.

Kelly E.

Yelp
After ordering to go for years because their food is so great, they greet us by name and come over and dote on our kids when we dine in person. They treat my family like their own and always offer the best service and discounts. They also have knowledge of gluten allergies. We didn't even know this was an option but when they learned one in our family has celiacs they told us they can make his order gluten-free and we having been doing this since we learned this.

Foreign P.

Yelp
Food is consistently good with many vegan friendly options. Service is not great like most Chinese restaurants but acceptable and they are very accommodating. Will go back for sure.

Yelp
This is a great Chinese restaurant. It's got great food, a diverse menu, a great price point, great service, just everything. So just know this comes from a place of love, I love Mr. Hui's. Can we please start a petition to get the name changed? Eating Mr. Hui's No. 2 is kind of off putting. Just saying. Please.

Kenneth C.

Yelp
Best Chinese food this side of China. Take out or delivery, either is splendid! Large servings, tasty main courses, and the fried rice is terrific. Several experienced--each one just about perfect!

Kennedy K.

Yelp
Absolutely the BEST crab Rangoon!!! Egg rolls are pretty scrumptious too! I usually order cashew chicken and also Mongolian beef, both delicious! Beef Lo Mein is my new favorite!

Anonymous R.

Yelp
This is one of the better Chinese food places in the city! They have authentic food too! Not brave enough to try some of it but it always looks good when I see others order. My friend from the east coast LOVES their sweet and sour chicken. The chicken is always light golden brown and it's big meaty pieces! She says it's the best she's had! Would recommend trying it! Plus all their other stuff is fresh and delicious!!

Yelp
Sauce could have used more flavor. Seemed thrown together instead enjoying putting together a good meal.

Yelp
I had lunch once at the North restaurant once and enjoyed it so I wanted to try the #2 store at 70th and Pioneers. We went around 6:00 pm on a Sunday and it was not too busy. I ordered Crab Rangoon and biscuits for an appetizer. You get four crab and ten biscuits. Both are excellent. The crab Rangoon filling is plentiful and has a very good green onion flavor. The biscuits melt in your mouth. I recommend both. I had Orange Chicken and my wife had Cashew Chicken. The Orange Chicken is spicy with the right amount of orange flavor. Although I didn't try the Cashew Chicken but my wife said it was excellent. We took home lots of leftovers as the portions are large. We didn't see a wine list or any alcohol on the drink list so guessing they don't have a liquor license yet. My wife ordered a hot flavored tea and it came in a to-go coffee cup. Was expecting a little hot tea pot with a tea bag. Was kind of disappointed. This location is in the old pizza place. They have changed the interior some and added secluded tables where the booths once were located. It looks nice, like a typical Chinese Restaurant, without a bunch of Chinese art on the wall. The food is good, large portions, great flavor. I recommend it, but without a wine list, paper napkins instead of cloth, and the tea issue, it gets four instead of five stars.

Yelp
Great authentic Chinese food. Large portions and great family staff that runs it. Hot and sour soup is delicious!

Pat C.

Yelp
Great food, pleasant atmosphere, excellent service. Three of us ordered different dishes from the lunch menu and everyone was pleased.

Yelp
Yes be dish can feed 3 people, large servings plenty of tasty food. I had the happy family, lobster, pork, beef, chicken and shrimp. Oh so much food, I will be back but order one entree to feed two people. Definitely a shareable meal. Will be back next time I am in Lincoln.

Jessy B.

Yelp
This has got to be the absolute best place to get peanut butter chicken!!! They have amazing specials during lunch where you get an entire meal for about 6 bucks!! Before I came here and had their peanut butter chicken I refused to eat it. It just never looked good, until my husband got it here! I had one bite and I was hooked!!! They also have amazing fish in their fish tanks, so it makes it fun for the kiddos. Definitely a family friendly place:)
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
A new fav, really love the Taiwanese dishes on the menu. Have ordered take out a few times. Love the fast friendly service but most of all, you will notice expensive higher quality ingredients and more interesting and exotic flavors in their food compared to any other Chinese place here in the midwest. Much more authentic tastes if you have traveled a lot, or enjoying cooking, you will notice this is top notch. Singapore Mei Fun is spicy and amazingly flavorful, big succulent pieces of shrimp as well. One of my favs. The Taiwanese Wonton soup is also very good, when I am feeling under the weather I will drive across town for this cure.

Yelp
Best delivery chinese in the city that I have found. Delicious food and fast courteous deliveries.

Yelp
This is our go-to Chinese restaurant, their food is amazing and the portion sizes are awesome!
google avatar

Yelp
Very yummy! Large portions! I will definitely be back! I had the garlic chicken and it was spiced perfectly.
google avatar

Mark J.

Yelp
Not horrible and the staff was friendly. Food is different in a way I'm not sure of in a better or worse direction, simply because I eat Chinese food once a year, but overall just ok. I would try another place before going back
google avatar

Amy Y.

Yelp
Go here! Amazing food and everything is made in house. I don't say this lightly, but they have the best crab Rangoon I've ever had! They make their wontons in house! They are light, crisp and delicious and I'm going to crave them until I get to have them again. The people were fabulous and the experience was awesome!
google avatar

Kimberly H.

Yelp
Definitely loved this place! One of my favorite Chinese restaurants! It was very comfortable inside and super affordable! Also, you get a lot of food so expect to take some home or share with someone! I ordered the sesame chicken and it was amazing! I will for sure be returning every time I get the chance!

Yelp
I'm in from out of town and ordered delivery to my hotel. They're busy and rushed. I was put on hold four times during the course of my call. The food was delivered hot and fresh within about 40 minutes. That's not bad for delivery! I got the House Specialty Soup. I didn't ask what it was; I just ordered blindly from the online menu which has names, but not descriptions. I figured that if it's a house specialty, it would be worth a try. It had a little of everything: pork, chicken, shrimp, and a bunch of vegetables (which were fresh and not over done)! Fresh and warm, but surprisingly somewhat bland. I expected spice, but didn't even get a lot of salt. If anything, one of the mushrooms I ate tasted a little fishy. Odd. The Hunan Triple Delight is a mix of three types of meat and some veggies. While there were red pepper flakes to give it flavor and depth, I found the sauce to be pretty oily and the saltiness of this dish was overpowering and, therefore disappointing. The garlic eggplant is delicious. Sometimes with delivery, a dish like this can go soggy and slimy. This stayed warm and perfect. This was the winning dish that was delivered. Unfortunately, you can't eat too much of an eggplant dish at one sitting and I can't take it with me on the plane in the morning (and my seat mates on the plane wouldn't like it if I did). This one is worth getting as it's full of flavor and texture. Their website linked to this page has a coupon to get a free order of Crab Rangoon. And, though not something I'd typically order with a meal like this, these were delicious. A choice of rice come with each dish: either steamed white rice or fried rice. I ordered fried rice for one dish and did an upgrade to vegetable noodles (chow mien) for the other dish. They sent just plain white rice instead of fried rice. The vegetable chow mien was just plain... plain... and boring: bland and oily. Maybe I expected too much of a Chinese restaurant in Lincoln. I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area and have good choices there. I don't know... I saw the other reviews that gave four and five stars and got excited. This is Just OK Chinese food. They kept their flavors low and boring and their sauces oily. They got part of the order wrong. To my mind, it was two to three stars at best. I don't know if I'd be back. Pros: Crab Rangoon, Garlic Eggplant, and hot/fresh delivery Cons: The flavor profile ranges from really Bland to very Salty. All of the dishes are kind of Oily. And they got part of the order wrong I'm not a fan of mediocrity. I know they can do better. I just won't get to experience it.
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
While the service often leaves alot to be desired, the food is decent for the price. The "authentic" dishes are quite good as well yet it often feels like many of the more interesting dishes either look nothing like the picture, taste nothing like expected, or are just ok in execution that they don't warrant revisiting after the initial order.
google avatar

Phil W.

Yelp
Recommend the Pho Saricha bowl(I think it's called that). Friendly for a family drop in dinner any time. Menu is solid and everything is fresh and delicious.

Yelp
I've eaten a lot of Chinese food, I mean a lot! This place is good. Better then any in Graceland. Thank ya, thank ya very much
