Mr Juicy

Just got finished eating at Mr. Juicy and wow hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The flavor and, the perfectly melted cheese everything came together like a classic, old school burger done right. But what really sets them apart is how juicy every bite actually is. You can tell they use quality beef and cook it with care. The fries were crisp, the bun held up perfectly, and the service was quick and friendly. You can feel that local San Antonio pride in every detail. I’ll definitely be coming back soon — Mr. Juicy absolutely lives up to the name! 🍔🔥

Party of four on a Friday for lunch. Tried Mr Juicy due to being written up in local paper. Seating very limited and they had nothing set up outside at this time. Line had 8 people in front of us, but it moved fairly quickly. You had to be careful not to bump into people eating though as the inside is not that easy to maneuver in. Service was friendly and relatively quick. Overall the food was good. Burgers were definitely juicy (we recommend adding the bacon). Two of our party mentioned the house sauce was overpowering and hid the flavor of the burger. Fries were rated as very good and the house seasoning was rated as very good. Unfortunately, it was loud inside and the crowded conditions made for a less than relaxing atmosphere.

This is my favorite burger spot! I come here whenever I get the chance. Every ingredient is fresh and delicious, and the special sauce is super tasty too! The fries are fresh, and I have to mention—I absolutely LOVE their ranch dressing, it’s my favorite! I always ask for extra onions and they always listen. Fresh, delicious burgers—you definitely need to try them!

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. The burger was definitely juicy and delicious. Everything was seasoned real well. For a double and single meal it came out to 31 dollars. Not Terrible now days. The dining room is real small. If you plan to eat at the place it’s a gamble due to table availability. I would recommend this place and I’ll be returning.

One of San Antonio's affordable gems. The chicken sandwich is insane in a good way. They offer alcoholic beverages. Service is always fast and friendly. The only change I'd make is turning the music down a bit. I wasn't able to hold a conversation inside and outside the street noise and construction going on was just as loud. I recommend this place to friends often.

Our 1st time and it was definitely 5 stars . Customer service was excellent fast friendly and pricing was super reasonable. Burger was fresh and flavorful loved the sauce and fries were perfect and a large amount. Even the soda was crispy. Definitely will be coming back.

Mr. Juicys burger is probably one of the most delicious burger restaurants I’ve ever been to. The meat is super juicy and savory, the place is super homey and clean, and the staff are always very polite and friendly. Food: 20/10 The food always goes above and beyond when it comes to quality! The meat is always super tender and JUICY, the fries are always baked to perfection while the veggies are always crisp and nice. Don’t even get me started on their shakes too! Super above and beyond, and definitely needs more recognition. Service: 10/10 Our service was excellent as well, the managers and staff were super cool and helpful. They offered timely refills and were quick to respond to us. Atmosphere: 8.5/10 The restaurant itself is quite compact and small, but it’s still super clean and even offers outside dining which is always nice. Overall: 10/10 This place is great and I recommend to anyone looking for a great burger place in the Hildebrand and San Pedro area!

Been wanting to try this place for awhile now and now that I have im definitely upset that I didn't earlier! Food was great I ordered the #1 was super juicy and fresh, the frys were perfectly cooked and seasoned! I definitely recommend eating here cause im definitely gonna come back!

I had such a great experience at Mr. Juicy Burger! The hamburger was excellent--perfectly cooked, juicy, and just the right size. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, and the flavor was spot on. But the real surprise? The Key lime pie! Absolutely unbelievable--creamy, tart, and so fresh. Hands down one of the best I've had anywhere. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was very clean and comfortable. Great customer service all around. If you're craving a great burger and want to treat yourself to a killer dessert, Mr. Juicy is the place to go!

The burger is perfectly crispy around the edges yet still juicy at the center. Fresh veggies top it off - pickles sliced lengthwise, crisp lettuce, and ripe tomatoes. The bun is soft and a little greasy, exactly how a good burger should be. The fries are also quite tasty. Everything we had was really good, but I wouldn't say it's the best burger in town - it's just on par with the others. The space itself is tiny, with just four four-tops and two two-tops. Two of the four-tops are pushed right up against the front counter. Ordering feels a bit like the "soup nazi" scene. You ask for a combo or a burger, and the staff rapid-fire shouts questions about toppings and sides. The staff is friendly, but they are definitely on a mission to move customers in and out. Honestly, it was a little stressful. This isn't the kind of spot where you linger over lunch; it's more of a grab-it-and-go type of place. On the plus side, they do have beer! Just bottles and cans - mostly domestic big brand names. Domestics are $4. The prices aren't too bad - $12 for a double cheeseburger combo (with fries and a soft drink). A regular cheeseburger by itself is $6. The fries are a decently sized portion - enough to share.

We had been hearing about Mr. Juicy, so drove over to check it out. I got a hamburger and added mushrooms. My husband got the double meat double cheese. He really didn't care for the meat, but I thought it was fine. They toast the buns, so that's a big plus. Fries were good. They also serve beer and mixed drinks. It lacks ambiance...just a fast food place inside with not a lot of seating. The staff was friendly, but you could tell that the flow wasn't efficient. I think it's fine if I'm driving by and I'm hungry, but I won't be driving across town to return.

Another solid burger joint! All I have to say is that they serve a tasty burger. A tad heavy but delicious. If you're looking for a good burger, this place delivers

I want to give this review 3.5 stars. Enjoyed the cheeseburger combo but I thought the order of fries was skimpy compared to other pics I've seen. I was able to sub Cheddar cheese for the standard American cheese. Staff member came by our table a few times to ask if we needed drink refills. I ordered a slice of blueberry pie to go. The crust was flaky but the pie filling was a bit sweet with tiny blueberries.

Unpretentious space, excellent service, good food, fast. The drive-through window does a brisk business. The inside tables are simple but get the job done. The guy at the counter took or order and brought us our food, but also later came over and offered us refills on soda. He also cleared away our trash. That's a high level of service for a fast food place.

Very small inside, wonderful staff and service, fantastic burger (smashburger, thin patty, delicious). Love the special sauce. Have yet to try the wet sauce but will be back to try it. Atmosphere? A vibe. Latino pop music playing. Can order shakes and alcoholic drinks as well. Has a drive thru

As always fast and friendly. I do love the taste of their hamburgers .. old fashion! The bun today though was a little hard .. over cooked. Every time I go the fries have a different degree of cooked and a different level of seasoning. I like them .. just a little frustrating.

We went to the San Pedro location and they took our order right away. There are just a few options here but I didn't notice you could get your burger "wet" until after I ordered. There are only a handful of tables inside so be prepared to eat outside if you come at a busy time. The burger was OK, but there was something sour on it, not like pickle sour, but a little off tasting. Too much cheese for my preference, I think I will omit it next time. The wet sauce is pretty good, I ended up ordering it on the side and dipping my fries. Overall a decent place, the peanut butter shake was great too.

This place is always great! Definitely my #1 favorite burger place in San Antonio! The burgers come with a "special sauce" which is well balanced and tasty. The fries are always fresh and seasoned to perfection. The chicken strips are huge and have a good flavor, just wish I was offered a sauce to dip them. Their Belgian Chocalate cookie is a must try for cookie lovers! Service at this location is fast and the lady working the counter is super friendly.

Great little burger spot. Staff is super friendly. Burgers are so good. I ordered the double cheeseburger combo w/ bacon. They put thick cut bacon on the burger. YUM!!! The burgers at the restaurant follow their namesake....juicy!! Fries are legit. Big bonus that they serve mixed drinks and boozey milkshakes. I left off a star because the dining area is super small. Where I was seated was where people order. So folks were basically hovering over me the whole time I was eating.

I was so glad we stopped by to try Mr. Juicy! The young man at the register greeted us. ambiance is cool and dessert is right on the counter! Simple menu. we added bacon mushrooms and a jalapeño! He warned us about the jalapeño. We tried it anyway. ohhhhh boy it was hot! One of the best burgers I've had in a while!

First, the service here was exceptional. The employees were super friendly, refilled our drinks when they saw the cups running low, and were helpful in the ordering process when it was our first time here. Second, the burgers were great and the chicken sandwich exceptional. There were two huge pieces of chicken. I actually had to take one off so I could eat it. The extra filet will make a nice snack later. The chicken was seasoned well and cooked well too. The fries were seasoned and amazing. The menu here is small, which means what they do, they do WELL. We will definitely be back!! They were passing out samples of their Dole Whip dessert. AMAZING. It was perfectly pineapple citrus flavor. Nice, light, and refreshing. As great as the food was, the dole whip was maybe my favorite thing and I don't normally do desserts!

We were there last week for the first time. We thought it was totally amazing. So we had to go back this time. I wanted to try the chicken sandwich. It was so good. Everybody else had the burgers. The burgers looked amazing. Again the fries were delicious. Served very hot. The food came out very quickly and everything was served very hot. Totally enjoyed it. The music in the background is nice and soft. The service again everyone is super nice. They go out of their way to help you. My granddaughter was putting away her burger in a to go box an employee noticed her doing that he came over to help her And to help bus the table.

We were blown away by the food and service here! The burgers are incredibly flavorful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had the cheeseburger combo meal with fries and an iced tea and even the fries were delicious. They were well cooked and seasoned. We also tried a cookies and cream milkshake and it was delicious! They did not skimp out on the cookies part! Overall a really good experience here. Pricing for the quality and quantity is spot on. Highly recommend checking them out!

First visit to Mr Juicy since they opened the location near us. Yeah! Super friendly and accommodating service! Clean and organized inside. The burgers are indeed juicy with the secret sauce! Patty was delicious and we loved the perfectly toasted bun! Great price for the combo!

I've seen several posts of Blueberry pie @mrjuicyburger and we had to stop by and check it out. We went to the new location for dinner. It was good to see the spacious location and several pie options, including Blueberry one. Hubby had the #1 combo, which was double pattie burger with fries and drink. I had the #3 combo, which was a hamburger with fries and Sprite for Dad. We shared the fries and Dad had the a la carte hamburger. They don't have their liquor license yet so I had the Strawberry shake. For the sweet ending, we had a Blueberry pie to eat in and one ti go. It's delish!

Wow. I don't know what changed but the quality has crashed. No this isn't a fake account, no this isn't some disgruntled employee - I'm a real consumer as is my wife (before you go trying to claim it's a fake review). I've been here years back and it was delicious and the burger was actually "juicy" but I don't know what the heck happened. The meat is over manipulated there's enough sauce to piss off your tastebuds yet still not enough to add the needed juice to the "juicy" burger. I feel like this has turned into the red headed stepchild restaurant now that it's been in operation now because of the quality. Any reputable Chef wouldn't want his name tied to this or he would do what's right and correct it. I've read several other reviews before posting mine to see if it was just a one off but it seems there are many other reviews saying similar things. Chef, fix it or go down with the ship. Period. You're no match for a real burger at this point. You want a "juicy" burger, go see 5 Guys. Hell, Fredericksburgers is better than this and I'm pretty sure there's no chef there. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant unfortunately. Used to be a supporter but I don't think we'll be back.

Stopped through the drive through and ordered. Drive through attendant was friendly and efficient. Got my food and went home to eat. Everything was c or text and was really pretty good. I would have liked the fries a bit more crispy but that's just me. If I was in the area I'd definitely come back and eat.

Never disappoints.... I don't get all the fuss about In and Out .. Mr Juicy is delicious and their fries are always fresh And they expanded the fresh drink specials.

Been wanting to try this place out for a while, and today was the day! Great burger... and trust me. The napkins are there for a reason; I see how they got their name! I live by the creed of "messier is better," especially when it comes to burgers. The manager is super friendly and made sure everyone was taken care of!

Happy, attentive service and good food. We both got the chicken sandwiches that were we hearing about. Husband got the hot one and I got the normal. Very tasty! I have a small stomach, so I wasn't able to finish the whole meal, but husband was happy to finish it for me. Fries weren't my favorite, but I'm partial to thin or shoestring fries. If you like a thicker, potato-y kind of fry you'd probably like these more. Place was clean and the staff stopped multiple times to make sure we were doing ok. I'd come back!

Easy breezy, burger through the drizzy. There were a few cars in line. No fuss menu. Pretty straightforward, but lots that you could add on. The person taking my order took their time and asked the follow up questions after each selection, which was nice. I had a cheeseburger combo add bacon & mushrooms. Comes with fries and a drink. Fries weren't as yummy as I remember them being at the blanco location. I ate a few, but they definitely played the side show to the burger. Hot, juicy, messy! The bacon was two thick cut pieces, yum!! Mushrooms were drippy. Ha! But I love mushrooms. Maybe they should go on the side like the lettuce? Which was great!! Love when they consider that! Got wet sauce on the side. It was watery and ok tasting. But I wouldn't pay for it again. Drive thru service was friendly. If I was craving a burger, I'd definitely come back here.

The Food is delicious and burgers are super big, service is great and very friendly, and the ambiance is good there's few chairs inside and out.

Finally, finally opened! I have been waiting for Mr. Juicy to open in the Castle Hills area for what seems years. Previous to this, the building was a Whataburger that moved to the Alon H-E-B. So when I read it was being converted to a Mr. Juicy, I was very excited. Today, I was finally able to stop by for a hamburger and fries. The hamburger was very good and I love their secret sauce. The fries are delicious and big. Service was a bit on the slow side, but that's due to just opening, and many people. I do have to commend them, though, because, although I had to wait a bit for my food and the drive-through was closed while I was in line, the staff was incredibly attentive. I was asked a few times if I wanted a drink and was offered a free snack for waiting. Really amazing job! The restaurant was very clean and new. It had more seating than the original, but no outside seating. There was room for a good amount of people, so that was a plus. I am glad Mr. Juicy opened in our area. I'm just waiting for the crowds to thin out before my next visit. Overall, very impressed with service and ability to handle a crowd.

I have been a big fan of the chicken sandwich for a long time. It is juicy, crispy, and frankly too much to eat, it is so big! Today, though was a let down. I ordered the chicken sandwich at the drive through and the lady asked if I wanted it spicy. I said NO. She repeated my order back and said "spicy." Again, I repeated not spicy. She understood. I got my food and drove 20 minutes across town, while munching on the most excellent fries. Once I got to my destination, I opened the box and found....A SPICY CHICKEN SANDWICH, completely drowned in hot sauce. I scraped off the breading and as much of the sauce as I could off of the bun. Not fun or enjoyable. I did not have time to drive all of the way back there for a refund. Super disappointing that the order taker could not get it right.

Amazing service. Super friendly and helpful. Multiple staff checked on us, if we needed anything even tho this is an order at the front and seat yourself kind of place. Food is fresh and AMAAAAAZING Quality!

Great fast food hamburger place. Grass fed burgers too from what I understand. They were busy so that's a good indicator of the food and service. They can make the burger as a lettuce wrap too if you want to go paleo or gluten free.

Finally made it to Mr Juicy on Northwest Military and it was worth the wait! Terrific burger combo! Very tasty and yes, super juicy. The fries were fresh cut, perfectly seasoned, and they serve you alot of fries. The Nutella milkshake was out of this world! Thick and flavorful! Super friendly staff, got us refills before we were empty. Very clean restaurant. 100% on last health department inspection. Bonus Military discount! P.s. No room for the great lo ok looking on site baked desserts, we will plan ahead better next time.

Finally got into Mr Jucy. It's been a comedy of errors....I'd drive over to it they had closed early. Had to try several times but success at last. Great timing as it was empty when I arrived. They do have handicapped parking but the doors are hard to open when you are also pushing a rollator. But very much worth it. I started with a Dole Whip...I've never been to Disney but I love love pineapple and this looked like heaven to me. Yes it was wonderful! I would drive that distance for just this dish even if everything else was horrible....but it wasn't at all. The people were very helpful and informative...bringing things to the table for me and checking back if I needed refill or wanted anything. Not just me but all customers that came after me. Ok so now to the burger....I don't want a lot on it so I get a good taste of the meat and yet I want to try things. So I got my mushrooms on the side, no cheese and ordered fries which I often skip. So glad I didn't skip the fries...seasoned perfectly with pepper and salt. I got some sauce to dip them into because I wished to try it out. The burger had a nice crispy crust like it had been smashed and a very good taste...I pulled off just meat to taste. Not greasy and not dry. Sometimes juicy means greasy not here. Then put the burger together to taste. Very appealing indeed. Sssssh if I lived closer I'd be in here several times a week. It's a very good value against other fast food burgers in fact against most restaurants burgers even though they have a higher price point. Now for what could add a star or cost it a star. The Key Lime pie. I lived in Pensacola Florida and I'm very picky about my key lime pie. Too many places have that pie that is Not Key Lime. There is a bitter undertone and other flavors that you should taste. I took this home to have later after it cooled down again. I mean burger, fries, drink, dole whip...I was bursting. I LOVED THE KEY LIME PIE. Hopefully when I come back I can try the boozy milkshake....but not during rush hour traffic driving through 410 for a long way. So if you have been wondering if it's worth it....so many reviews say yes. Is it overhyped? I don't think so. It's very well done, great value, delicious and deserves all the praise it has gotten. I'd like to to the one in town and do a taste off between this and Chris Madrid not that far away. Both very distinctive burgers. I'll be back...already looking forward to it!

Always a good burger at Mr. juicy. Located in the corner of Hildebrand with San Pedro, it is always a popular. But the burgers, fries, and shakes are always hot and fresh. Parking can be tricky, but the drive thru moves pretty quickly. Service and staff is friendly. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Mr. Juicy is a top burger location in San Antonio. It's always busy and folks cycle through this place every single day it's open. 10% military discount.

Quick blurb. If you are in a hurry probably come another day. I will update once I try the food. It's my first time here. The food was worth the wait. I got a ton of fries. I would recommend.

The food tls delicious and i am a burger feen. The servers and cashiers where super kind took the time to give me recommendations. The vibe was good didn't feel any bad energy in my stay, besides that one lady that was looking at me funny.

The window guy was very polite , but the the girl with nose piercing that came to give us our food just pushed that guy out of the way . How rude! It was messed up to say the least.

Burgers are made to order, fresh and delicious!! I literally have never seen a burger as picture worthy as the ones they make here. Juicy, delicious and affordable!! Service is fast and friendly. The ambiance is what you would expect from a clean burger joint. Definitely recommend this as one of the best burgers in San Antonio!

The good: - The staff is very attentive and the dining area is very clean. - The fries are crispy with a soft inside which is nice - The pineapple whip was worth getting again. The bad: - The bathroom was a nightmare and clearly not being checked. They certainly had the staff to do so. - The burgers just aren't that good and I suspect they use a mix of meat instead of just beef but I'm guessing there. They are more like a meatloaf probably due to the sauce which is generously applied to the burger. We have re-named the store to Mr Sloppy. - Prices are a bit high for what we got but not too terrible if the burgers were better. This is our third try (one at the original, one for chicken fried steak at San Pedro and lastly the new one in Castle Hills) and it will be the last.

Went on a Wednesday evening. No one was there. It was our first time. Guy at register was very informative. Got a mix drink with soda. On our way out we got a cookies and cream shake. It was delicious. 10/10

So...I've been wanting to try this place for a while. I've been on the hunt for the best burger in the city. I've been to Chester's. I've been to Chris Madrid. I happen to think those were pretty solid burgers. Not a 5 but at least a 4.5. I'm going to give the same rating to this burger. The picture shows a beautiful burger and that it was. I do wish it was seasoned or seasoned more (the patties themselves). I think if so, I would easily give this a 5 star and give this the best in the city. The sauce they use lacked much flavor as well. I'd rather have had extra mayo and that would have been really good. Otherwise, it's a burger I'd have again, hands down. I purchased through the drive through on a Sunday evening and service was not fast but not terribly slow. For a freshly prepared burger & fries, I wouldn't expect to be in & out (pun intended) in a few minutes. I really didn't mind the wait.

Excellent food! Truly juicy burger and the cookie for dessert was delicious. Service was fast and restaurant was clean and neat.

If everyone wouldn't have jumped into their food, so fast, I would have more pictures. Inside dining is pretty small, but they do have some outdoor dining as well. Mr. juicy burgers are crazy. Good! They are full of flavor, juicy, of course, and I absolutely love the sauce that they add. We also got the chicken fried steak, which is a crapshoot, some days they have it some days they don't, you might end up with some other special menu item, but nonetheless, I could eat this thing every single week and not get tired of it. First of all it is enormous, so I shared it with two people, the peppercorn sauce is freaking amazing, and the pile of french fries underneath were cooked to perfection. The ladies at the front counter were super friendly, and gave us some good information about how to find out what they will have on the menu that day, whether it be chicken, fried chicken or chicken fried steak. They may also have seasonal desserts, such as the Keylime pie, which I was definitely hoping to get but they don't have right now. They are worth every penny and you should definitely experience at least once.

This is my favorite burger...EVER. This is not just my favorite SA burger, it's my all time favorite. This place KNOWS burgers, fries, and shakes. At this point, I'm a regular here. Everything is delicious and they even have a growing craft beer selection. Get the #1, it's a double cheeseburger combo for only $11! And, always add the wet sauce...man it's great. I have no complaints, just come early because this place fills up fast! I'm a die hard Juicy fan, I will die on this hill.

They have gluten-free hamburger buns that are incredible. Every now and then I just have to have a hamburger and I will drive 30 miles to Mr. Juice's to get a good one. The french fries and the shakes are also incredible.

On September 16th I was there at 6:15 PM ordered our meal and sat down to eat. We were almost done when we found a roach on our table. We notified the manager, and they did nothing about it. He called the health department and reported it will never go back again. You get no stars

The fresh made to order food, the very friendly service and the whole vibe of the restaurant was just amazing!!!! After seeing this restaurant on Texas Eats today and then trying it first hand in person today as well, it was just amazing, simple ingredients on a simple burger. I got the #1 with extra secret sauce and it was juicy, tasting and definitely a fan favorite!!!! I will definitely be back with my kids and try to the spicy chicken sandwich and fried steak with fries and onion rings which is only available once a week during lunch hours. So sorry I didn't post any pictures as I wasn't going to leave a review but I felt like I couldn't just leave without giving it a review. I would definitely recommend this place any time of the week and the prices are reasonable in my opinion, $50 with tip for a family of 4 which included fries and drinks

I stopped into this new highly anticipated location to pick up dinner for the family. The car line was out to the street, so I attempted to go inside. Unfortunately the dining room was closed. I found out that it had been open earlier in the day for lunch service, but the restaurant was short staffed, so they were only open for drive-thru for dinner. The service was friendly - even to the point that they were offering orange creamsicle ice cream cups to cars waiting in line. Now, just to qualify this, I have stopped into the long time location on San Pedro, so I was hoping for a similar burger experience. Unfortunately, the new location is seemingly going through some growing pains and still adjusting to the rush of customers over the first week or so. I ordered a double burger (no cheese) with jalapeños for myself... with fries and a drink. The burger was sizable (obviously) and the patties were seasoned well. Overall, they were a bit on the greasy side, but that was a little expected. The disappointment came with the wilted lettuce and slice of tomato. I expected much better. The large portion of fries was hot and very good, though. Overall, it was a mediocre experience. The wait in line was around 30 minutes, and even though the service was good, the burger was just okay... certainly unlike my experience at the older location. ALSO, the large order I placed was missing an entire cheeseburger, and one of the burgers was missing the bacon I ordered. Unfortunately, the location doesn't have a phone number yet listed for me to call and let them know. :/ I'll certainly stop by again in a few weeks to see if anything has changed, but this first experience at the new location was a bit of a let down.
