Google
If you're looking for the best Latin fast food in downtown, this is the place for you, from Venezuelan pepitos and cachapas to Colombian hamburgers and hot dogs. I've been coming to this food truck for the past 9 years, and it just keeps getting better. The pepitos are my go to, packed with flavor and perfectly grilled. The staff is always friendly. Prices are super reasonable for the quality and portions you get. I highly recommend it.

Specifically came to this location for Bachi Bus but unfortunately the business was not there due to construction. The food smelled amazing and tasted phenomenal. The only thing that prevented giving the business 5 stars is their service. They don’t ask if you have any questions about the menu or make suggestions. I noticed food being brought to your table so we assumed that we would sit down and have ours brought to us the same way they did for everyone else, wrong. Our names were called and we had to get our stuff ourselves then watched those that ordered after us, get their food brought to them. We were completely ignored when we were ready to order, they have no caution that some plates are extremely hot and seemed to not care to let us know. Overall, food was great and very filling.

It’s a must stop at Pepitos! Love it! Hamburguesa venezolana la mejor! Love the rewards program and the special coupons they usually send.

Google
It was my first time eating here and I was amazed at how delicious everything was, great location, really friendly people, and I first time eating Venezuelan / Columbian food.

Manuel Carrillo

Google
The “catire” hot dogs are delicious and so well priced - especially considering how pricey other Venezuelan establishments can be. I’ll be coming back!

Google
The service was perfect, they bring you a good attention, and the food was one of the best I ate And the music a 10 out of 10

Google
I ordered the Pepito Tradicional, and this is what I got. How is this $20? Meat was overcooked and lacked seasoning, the cheese was OK at best, the bread was nice and toasty. Overall, it is bad and unnecessarily expressive.

Matt

Google
Its open!!!! And delicious. One of my favorite places to eat in Miami. The truck arrives at 730pm it's not permanently closed

Yelp
So I originally was going to come on by because of a Restaurant.com gift certificate I received for Christmas but when my friends came into the city I found it even more of a good idea to try out some authentic Venezuelan in the area. It was late at night and I know most of the food trucks in this area are open from 1900-late night. When we arrived at this particular food truck we weren't welcomed as much as the food truck next door or at all really. After ordering the girl at the counter informed me the coupon is not something they used even though she did not even check with the other members of the staff that were there. Regardless, I had already ordered a shredded chicken Cachapa that sounded pretty good. It was a bit on the pricier side compared to the other food spots along this street but I decided to stay optimistic! I opened it up once when we got home and to my surprise it was steak. They did have some authentic green and white sauces on the picnic tables nearby that I smothered it with but it didn't fix the fact that it wasn't pollo. For these reasons I give this place 2 stars. Not because the food was bad; it was tasty, but the customer service really missed the mark. There are a bunch of different food trucks nearby as competition so I think it would be wise to use this review as resource to improve customer satisfaction & business moving forward.

Yelp
Great food, a bit on the pricey side for being a food truck. But well worth the buy. I like the pepito guaro and cachapas, but most everything is good.

Yelp

Yelp
Awesome outdoor food truck with outdoor seating, music playing, sauces on & napkins on the tables, order & wait. The Parilla is so yummy & my husband enjoyed the Colombiana burger

Yelp

Yelp
Ordered a burger with fries and a arepa with cheese. The fries were cold and soggy and the cheese in the arepa was spoiled. Actually it smelled so bad that you couldn't be seated near it. I called to let them know they should stop using it but nobody picks su the phone. I got a text suggesting to co to their website. Horrible experience
google avatar

Cristian G.

Yelp
Despite seeing the rating prior, I was optimistic about the food because as you can see from the picture, the burgers actually look good. My optimism was met by disappointment. The food wasn't necessarily bad, but I personally like to feel the food was worth the high calorie intake. The food was decent not considering the price. However, considering the price I don't think I'll be back. If I had to recommend something, my favorite item was the sausage in the salchipapas which are accompanied with not so good fries. Maybe the food items to get here are the arepas, not sure as I didn't try them. The food truck is open late so I can see how after a night out in the Wynwood area the food may taste a bit better.

Arizay C.

Yelp
google avatar

Kelsey T.

Yelp
I ordered the tequenos and the reina arepa. Both were super tasty! I liked what I got and would recommend the food here.

Mark M.

Yelp
Lower the terrible music... it is just obnoxious and terrible. You can hear it from blocks away which is ridiculous.
google avatar

Sanna I.

Yelp
I don't know how this place does not have 5 stars, just ordered late night food and it was the best Venezuelan /Colombian food I've had in a while. They even gave me homemade hot sauce, so thankful for my experience.
google avatar

AngryYoungMan X.

Yelp
I had a mixta traditional pepito. Meat was quite average and potatoe shreds were soggy. Weak sauce (no pun intended) Gonna pass next time.
google avatar

Marco R.

Yelp
Sad to get a really small overpriced pepito and a cachapa with a really poor amount of cheese.
google avatar

Jose M.

Yelp
I have had the pepito (over priced for the size) and cachapa (great flavor, tiny in size). I don't think I'll be giving them a chance any time soon. Miami it's full of Venezuelan places, and this food truck it's extremely over priced. They have restaurant prices, sizes are small and flavors are good but nothing to die for. Owner has an attitude!! instead of apologizing or inviting me to come back, he rather be defiant and talk back with attitude. People who can't take reviews or suggestions will never improve their business. PO: Not 100% sure what the owner meant when he rudely replied. Unfortunately his grammar skills are as bad as his costumer service skills.

Ramona G.

Yelp
Randomly came here with my friend and her co-worker after a night of clubbing in Miami. Her co-worker searched for places in the area that was open late at night and this was one of the few results. We were surprised to find out it's actually a food truck LOL we thought it was a restaurant. My friend and I split the Colombian hot dog which comes with Cheese and Mayo, it honestly reminds me of Jolli Hot Dog from Jollibee LOL. With a yelp check-in they had a free side of yuca fries. Everything we ate was really good. They have a couple of stools in front of the truck for customers to sit. Most people showed up walking out of nowhere LOL
google avatar

Jeff M.

Yelp
Been coming to the food truck since they opened pretty much. Was my favorite sandwich in the world forever, recently they changed the meat and apparently everyone likes it better, but not me. Still a good sandwich and the bread and Ajo sauce set everything off, I just feel it was better the old way. The hotdog was on point as always. And the tequenos for my daughter we're good as usual too. I used to recommend this spot to everyone I spoke to. Still would, just like the old style better.

Yelp
Mr. Pepito is my go to place in Edgewater! I love going there after I arrive from a trip or leave work late. The service is incredible, but above all the food is delicious! I highly recommend the Arepas, as you can make then your way! As a second choice the Maicitos. This dish is scrumptious and so full of flavor, just thinking about it makes my mouth water. Of course the famous Pepito sandwich is a must!! I compare it, slightly, to a Tripleta from PR! Definitely come check it out!
google avatar

Valentina G.

Yelp
Authentic street Venezuelan hot dogs. Lots of potato sticks just the way I like and delicious sauce. Amazing!!

Yelp
I remember the late nights around 2:00am where I searched for a late night place to eat to soak up the alcohol or provide some nurishment after a late night of dancing. Well last night was a late night of dancing so I was on the hunt.. Mr. Pepito delivered and keep the South American vibe running. I found a Colombian-Venezuelan food truck in wynwood and it was awesome.. The petitos were filled with hot and juicy chucks of beef and chicken and the bread was hot out of the oven.. the yuca fries were crispy on the outside and warm and tasty on the inside.. I saw lots of people enjoying all types of arepas and the hot dogs and burgers were juicy and piled high.. Definitely hit the spot.. well done..

Yelp
The worst service ever! Went there with my mom because she had been wanting to go there ever since we saw the truck. It was late at night and not that busy, we placed our orders and were told we'd get it as soon as possible. And so 3 people came after us and all three of them left with they're food, yet we had put our orders in first, I wasn't as pissed as my mom was because I am a server and I know that certain orders take longer to make, but did expect them to give us our food soon! We spoke to the guy running the orders and all he asked was if we wanted our money back. We ended having to wait for them to finish our orders and it turned out being cold! Would not recommend it at all.

Yelp
They have a great food truck spot in biscayne, food was great and done in a timely manner even they were busy. Great for a quick bite.

Brenda B.

Yelp
It has become our weekend spot for my husband and I, we usually get the tostones shredded beef, the cachapa and the hot dogs! The food fills you up and have great taste. We have also tried the burgers and are delicious. As desert, we love the tres leches.. best one I've tried in the states. Really good fast food place with great taste!
google avatar

Eric P.

Yelp
First time ordering from here. Unless our Postmates driver snacked on my meal on the way, that was a pretty skimpy serving of these little chopped pieces of moldy dry meat. The professional photography they hired for Athens Postmates menu was very deceiving.
google avatar

Ligia G.

Yelp
I always come to this foodtruck! The food is really good and has a lot of flavour!! Service is always great plus the place is always clean (very important). You can also find them on Uber eats which is great. My favourite one is the "pepito guaro" and I love to put on top some salsa de ajo and salsa de queso. They have a few tables so you can sit and enjoy your food there. I'll be back soon!!
google avatar

Mauricio P.

Yelp
Too slow the service, every one was chatting/checking the phone and been the only customer at the time they took more than 10 minutes to prepare an arepa. No way to come back... they don't care about customer service.

May B.

Yelp
I would marry their arepas if I could. So good and made quickly. The sauces!!! I'm getting hungry just thinking about their food.

Mia S.

Yelp
This place is fantastic! The music is great! The food is even better! Every time I've been there everyone was very friendly
google avatar

Salome H.

Yelp
Used uber eat and was a mistake. Love tequenos and of course ordered from this place not one but two orders and sadly they were overcooked. Ordered pepito with beef even thought was big the flavor was average. I ordered chicken burger, bread was not the best quality but at least the chicken had good taste. My experience could be because was delivered, you might get lucky if you eat in the location.

Michelle M.

Yelp
I ordered on grubhub for pickup and these people did not want to give my boyfriend the order saying we had to confirm it like if we were Uber drivers or something
google avatar

Shannen C.

Yelp
This is sadly one of those experiences you regret, a hit and miss from those Yelp recommendations and a waste of money. Their customer service is nowhere to be found, I promise you guys we were standing for almost ten minutes trying to order and I had to ask one of the employees on the cashier, that was giving us his back if they were closed, since there was a huge line and he was doing anything but his job. I don't know if it's just me but if I run a food truck and that "someone" in the front taking the money has to be on top of who's coming in to order and greet them. As far as for the food I completely regret spending the $20 that we paid. I ordered "la venezolana" burger and my girl got an arepa. Food was terrible ingredients in them looked horrible, my burger had a piece of lettuce that was oxidized as well as the tiny piece of avocado that came in the arepa. As for the sauces for an order of +$20 they only gave us three sauce containers for take out. Are you kidding?!! And to make it even worse, they didn't have garlic sauce or any other sauce other than a green one that I think was made of parsley. Do yourself a favor if you don't want to regret spending money on food don't step a foot in here , you can get way better service for half the price and better food anywhere else.
google avatar

Linet P.

Yelp
This became today my favorite food truck in Miami. I had the Venezuelan burger which they kindly modified it to the brioche bread. It was absolutely delicious with an excellent balance of flavors. The ingredients are fresh and the staff is very friendly.
google avatar

Nicole C.

Yelp
My fiancé and I came here last night and I must say it was not what we hoped for. My partner ordered a Colombian hot dog and I kid you not it was the length of her index finger. I myself ordered the arepa and I was also not satisfied. I usually don't leave negative comments but we left hungry and unhappy.
google avatar

Nara I.

Yelp
Disappointing! Second time here...and still disappointed. I said I would give a second try but clearly it was a mistake. Came in, order to take out, was very specific of my order..; Maisito of cheese ( no protein) and pepito traditional with no bacon. When I got home, maicito ( corn) was crunchy/burned, cheese only located at the middle and hardly no sauce. Pepito- only meat!! No lettuce, tomato or nothing in it.. a bit of sprinkles of Parmesan cheese. Bread? Very soggy. I wish I order this online so I could have my money back right away!
google avatar

Dexter R.

Yelp
Very good food and great people. Food is amazing specially the Venezuelan pepitos. I recommend to anyone

Marco Antonio N.

Yelp

Andy A.

Yelp
Stay away horrible service. Ordered to go and the lady did not include any of the sauces. We ordered maicitos they have on menu "all special sauces with it" well surprise! NO SAUCES ! I've never seen Colombian maicitos with NO sauce!!! I called and they refused to deliver me another one. Also ordered a burger and it was okay nothing special. Extremely disappointed and won't be going back. This place does not offer authentic Colombian food as stated in their menu!!!! Stay away!
google avatar

Yuliya V.

Yelp
This is a great street food option in Miami. Located near The Wynwood Yard, Mr.Pepito has much better food! We ordered from both vendors and absolutely loved the food and service.
google avatar

Jose H.

Yelp
Best Fast Food and Friendly Service on Town. I'm from California and my family and I visited Miami couple days. After search recommendations for Venezuelan Food (Pepitos), we found Mr Pepito Miami Truck. We have tried the entire menu and all of it was very good. The prices are fantastic, very cheap for the high quality of food and service. We Recommended the Steak Pepito (Lomito) and Double Burger.
google avatar

Sarah G.

Yelp
Tastes good at late night after the Ultra Music festival, so convenient and so special to take away

Daniella F.

Yelp
The BEST!!!! I drive from Broward to come for a pepito!!! Sooo good! And the garlic sauce is the bomb!!
google avatar

Charlie C.

Yelp
Small food truck on the side of a Midas delivering top notch grub. Had the Pepito caraqueño mixed chicken and steak, there was no skimping on the ingredients, floor to ceiling mounds of meats, cheese and potato stix over a flat pressed hero bread. It seems they accept all forms of payment including bitcoin. The guy who appears to be the owner was very friendly and helpful. This is a must stop if you're in the mood for some late night delicious grub.
google avatar

Maria E.

Yelp
The attention here it's the best ever, and the original pepitos are the boom. I came here one night with a friend looking for the tequeños, they didn't have it but I had something else and it was really good.
google avatar

Genesis M.

Yelp
The food is delicious, it is my favorite Venezuelan place in Miami, excellent service

Valentin V.

Yelp
Great Venezuelan food and prices are OK. The food truck gets packed so order ahead if you can, but its worth it.
google avatar

Karhel O.

Yelp
This is the best Food truck in Miami. Everything we try was good. The tequenos, the burger amd the cachapa was amazing. Next time I will try the Arepas.

Stephen T.

Yelp
Over priced, small servings. It was good but I was still hungry when I took the the food home.
google avatar

Elena R.

Yelp
Late night out with some friend's we stumble in to this hiddin gem, in the heart of edgewater. What a great way to finish the night, I had the Steak Pepito, I swear I could eat two, they are so good, just like the one we used to eat back home. NOTE: Please try the corn sauce and the Rice pudding or Arroz con leche to die for.
google avatar

Eunice P.

Yelp
We were looking for something different and we decided to stop here and we enjoyed the patacones and the pepito.
google avatar

Clarissa M.

Yelp
Our favorite food truck in Miami! Always good and they are always nice with us! And they have the Best tequenos!!!
