Ok! I used to enjoy their food until tonight! I ordered through Postmates but chose the option of pickup. My order was for rib tips with double baked beans, and then I ordered a chicken wing plate with fries and a coke. I had my son go and pick up the order for me because I'd been ill and couldn't get out, so he only picked up the order dropped it off to me and left again. First, when I opened the box that had the chicken in it all I saw was fries, so I am checking the bag looking for another box and I said, wth is the chicken.. I noticed that there was a piece of wax paper under the fries and I lifted it up, boom! Chicken.. but the chicken wings were so small it looked like they were pigeon wings, the were dry and hard and barely had any sauce or any flavor at all, so I tried a fry, blah! Disgusting, it was like they had that plate fixed way earlier in the day and then tried to bring it back to life by refrying it!
I then opened the rib tip plate and it may have been 10 of the smallest tips I have ever seen with bbq sauce that had only been drizzled over the meat because tips weren't fully covered in sauce. I used a fork to push around the tips to further inspect them and a couple of them were gristle only no meat, the beans were thick, you can tell either they'd been on heat a long time or they were constantly reheated, but the flavor was good. Anyhow, the chicken plate was inedible which meant I had to order my youngest something else to eat cause his brother was gone and couldn't take it back. After this I got on postmates so that I make a review on the order! It allowed me to select that the quality of food was poor and suggested I contacted the restaurant since it was a pickup not a delivery! As per suggestion, I called the restaurant and a female answered the phone, she immediately knew I was the order from postmates and I asked to speak to management! She asked if she could help me and I told her I wanted to tell them about my food because it was horrible! She says, even the rib tips? So I knew for a fact, she knew more about my order than she put on... she placed me on hold after I told her about the chicken plate. Then, this male gets on the phone trying to make excuses immediately! When did you order, I'm trying to figure out who was cooking during that time. Well I wasn't here but I am going to see to it that they fix the problem. He suggested I come to get something else, I told him it wasnt possible for me to come and then he asked about the rib tips.. I gave him the same details and he began ranting about how rib tips have gristle like pig ears do... wtf?! What does pig ears have to do with why you are handing out meatless tips? So he goes on to tell me he buys the tips from the restaurant wholesale place like that!! So I suggested if you see tips with no meat on them then why not scrap those tips and not plate those? He then tells me some people like to eat the cartilage like they do when eating pig ears! And tells me I should think about that when I order rib tips... so now I'm flustered and I told him I don't give a sh!t about pig ears so he yells back that I must not give a sh!t about rib tips either!! Are you serious!? So I tried to inform him that rib tips are not meatless, even the stock photo they have up on the menu pages show a nice meaty rib tip! So he, exacerbated, says well, contact postmates for a refund. And I told him postmates asked me to contact him... no they didn't??? I will never order from here again I'm now yelling! That's almost $30 gone down the drain! Be careful y'all! It's people out here that don't have a real love for their craft and will feed you anything just for a dollar!
