Mr. Potatoes

An 11/10 for the items we got. Awesome place and a hidden gem. The owner was great and asked how everything tasted. Just incredible. The loaded potatoes we got (sour cream w/cheese and bacon) tasted like a fluffy baked potato that you'd eat for that ks giving. A hint of butter, not over cooked and just right. The Philly steak fries remind me of home made fries with that street vendor feel and perfect seasoning. Plenty of toppings and big portions. Looking forward to coming back.

There is nothing like find a hole in the wall restaurant. Mr. Potato is that place. The ower was very nice and explained the menu if we had questions. I will say the food was amazing. I had the Loaded Gyro Potato and my husband had the Pastrami w/pickles potato. When I tell you that our food was wonderful and delicious. It was all that and then some.

Fantastic food and even better service. I happened to be on a work trip and a coworker recommended this spot. They did not disappoint. Highly recommend the baked potato for any meal, I got the steak teriyaki. The owner is an awesome guy, I hope he's able to spread his business across LA and beyond!

Nas was incredibly attentive and kind. We ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and a loaded baked potato. Once the food was served our experience got that much better. I love Mr. Potatoes. Definitely will be coming back!

Me and my mom came in after the chargers game looking for some easy food and it was delicious. The owner was super nice and the food was amazing it was a huge portion and hit the spot perfectly. If I was from here I'd definitely come more often

Place is a hidden gem! Had the Philly steak fries and could not stop eating the fries. Love the fries. The portion was definitely enough for 2 and I look forward to trying the Buffalo chicken Philly fries next.

I had the pastrami sub and fries. Pastrami was cooked to perfection def not overly salty how other pastrami sandwiches can be. The service and owner were amazing. I will def be back

Nice little place, clean you can tell the guy is prideful. Service, I got bad vibes from the guy. Aggressive tone in his voice and anytime I asked about an item it seems as though I annoyed him so I found myself repeating myself with every question. Food, HORRIBLE!!! I asked if he had a surf and turf loaded potato, what nah I have whats on the menu. I settled for a broccoli cheese potato and added chicken. Barely any chicken taste like he pulled the chicken off a rotisserie chicken from El Super market, no flavor. The broccoli smelled like old rancid farts. I hop in my truck and my son said eww it's smells like old rotten collard greens, mushy no flavor. $19.86 89 cent for hot sauce and it came with 1 napkin a half a tablespoon of sour cream... 20 plus minutes to get the slop, just to toss it. I tasted my son's Philly cheese steak and it was not very good. You've been warned! All hype!!!!

We called right at closing and the owner still took our order and waited for us to show up - such awesome service. As first-timers, we didn't know what we were walking into, but the food was seriously amazing. The potatoes were huge, super tasty, and totally hit the spot. We'll definitely be back!

Hmm taste is there but the portion of meat could use a little pumping up. I will go back but maybe ask for double meat. Got the teriyaki chicken baked potato and cheesesteak but couldn't find the chicken

Ordered the Philly steak fries and they were flavorful and down right beautiful. Big enough to share but I definitely wanted to eat them all myself! The gentleman at the register (possibly the owner?) let me know to keep the lid loose as to not crush the ingredients on top and keep the fries crispy. But the way they tasted, if they did get soggy, they'd still be so good. Can't wait to try more items next time!

I stopped by here while in Hawthorne for lunch. Definitely the place you need to go if you want a bomb baked potato. They have many options for the loaded, including, broccoli and cheese for my vegetarians! My food was made quick, hot and delicious ! The service was also great. He was very nice.

Delicious chop cheese. Chicken tender and fries were very delicious. Shareable portions.

Ordered the broccoli with steak and cheese baked potatoes and my husband ordered the chicken teriyaki baked potatoes both were really good will def come back to try the pastrami baked potato

Could be a bit cleaner restroom was clogged and water all over the floor very bad need to be cleaned

Family owned business, owner genuinely cares about his customers. Food was prepared fresh, great value and each plate is enough for 2 people. Bomb

Had an incredible experience here! The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel so welcome. The menu is absolutely amazing -- so many tempting choices that it's hard to decide! I went with the pastrami baked potato and lemon pepper wing dings, and wow, they did not disappoint. The potatoes were downright AMAZING and generously portioned. I can't wait to return for more! Wishing Mr. Potatoes tons of success!

Loved this place. I was CRAVING cheesy potatoes and was more than pleased with what we received. Usually loaded fries or potatoes have soggy fries but not this place. The meat and sautéed veggies actually had flavor! lots of it too! This will definitely be one of my new favorite spots.

Went today and food was not good at all frys was all bad recooked and philly was bs u need to upgrade your make shift kitchen they asked me too add a star where is zero

Went with some friends and shared the chicken Philly baked potato, and it was so GOOD! Baked potato is big enough for two people, potato itself was buttery and soft. The mushrooms onions and chicken were also very good! Am definitely happy to have discovered this spot and will be returning for more potatoes!

Came in on a whim to get hubby some food. Although me and mini me was going next door to try this new spot we quickly came back and decided to grab us some lunch from here. Hubby and mini me got the cheeseburgers, fries and a drink combo. I got the chicken tenders and fries. Got home and mini me whips out the phone to do a "taste test." Anywho, her and her dad tried the burgers and fries and were impressed by the burger and said it tastes like Inn n Out. They both were really happy. Next was my turn to try my chicken tenders and fries which also came with a drink. My food was really good too and barbecue sauce on point as well. The guy was so friendly and told me about the different food options. Here's another plus, he had some great selections of soda and they were in a can which is a huge plus for me. Definitely will be back :)

Its was good, but a little too rich fir me. If you like it cheesy, meaty thus is for you. I would say the staff were nice and food was fresh and hot.

I ordered my food and he told me I'd take 30 minutes which I'm fine with I'm not fine with it taking over an hour. Im not trying to be rude but people have places to be don't say 30 minutes if it's going to take a hour. I would have just went somewhere else an hour ago. I haven't even tried the food yet. Please just hire more people or something we want to support!

I walked into Mr Potatoes on a whim since I work in the area, and I'm really glad I did. I ordered the lemon pepper buffalo wings to-go and was seriously impressed--perfectly cooked, super crispy, and packed with flavor. I was even more surprised that they came with fries at that price, and they reminded me of my favorite spot back home. The real test? I ate everything after a 20-minute car ride, and it was still as good as anything I've ever been served fresh at the table. Looking forward to going back and try more of the menu--I saw someone order one of the cheesesteaks and it looked unreal.

Had a 6" chopped cheese sub. It came with fries and can soda. Everything was hot, fresh, and good. I definitely plan on returning and trying other items.

Good food, solid amount enough to feed 3/4. New place good to check out if you're looking for a local spot in Hawthorne.

Just want to say this place is fire the Philly cheesesteak the bread the seasoning and fries are perfect combination and the loaded potatoes is loaded and is a must share dish. The service was fast and friendly. Must return to try the wings and other dishes

This is definitely my go to spot when I'm looking for a loaded potato they do it as best as you can. And the serving is far more than what anyone else is offering. Definitely worth a shot, I tried the regular loaded potato cause I thought how wrong can someone get it I will forsure explore my options next time

Wish I woulda have taken pictures to show just how LOADED these potatoes really are!!!! Tucked away in a small plaza on the corner of el Segundo and Crenshaw, Mr.Potatoes did not disappoint. Beginning with the service, describing what we should expect from our order as far as flavor and portions to actually seeing what we ordered, expectations were really met when it came to loaded potatoes. Overall great service and great food! Will definitely be going back, maybe even later this week!
