Five Places Worth Trying This Weekend in Denver | Eater Denver

"For a quick lunch, I enjoy the quaint Vert Kitchen, which uses locally sourced ingredients and organic produce in an intimate setting with a patio that beckons hungry visitors; it serves brunch, lunch, and an early supper in Wash Park with coffee and tea, wine and beer, and cocktails. Iconic salads include the honey chicken chop with carrot miso dressing, and the sandwich selection ranges from roast turkey with fig jam to the curry chicken with currants and cashew tarragon pesto." - Gigi Sukin

Even after your food is ready, stay 15 mins and then leave your home so that way your wait time once you arrive is only 30 minutes. I'm a loyal customer and I've raved about this place before to anyone that would listen. These past few months it has not been the same. Food would not be cooked properly and the wait times are ridiculous. I'm really disappointed because I use to love everything about this food truck. Tonight my bannan peze was not properly cooked and my driver had to wait for so long just to get the food even after it says the food was ready. If you call they tell you 25-30 mins, just give them an hour. On previous occasions I've also received bannan peze that tasted like they went bad.

Do not , I repeat do not waste your time going to this place . The food takes so long , the wait time is ridiculous and don’t get me started on the price and the small portions. Last time I brought a pate there I literally threw up my whole inside because it was not cooked properly. And on January 22nd , I brought some rice and shrimp with sauce guess how much was the price $26 . see the pictures for yourself . I mean , literally (6) pieces of shrimp for $26 dollars what! . Where is the sauce ? Never Again .

Oh my gosh, the food is awesome, I really enjoyed the food with so much energy, I couldn't control how to eat the food because the taste was so good. If someone come to pompano Beach close to forte Lauderdale if you are looking for a great place to eat, look up for MR Vert's restaurant. You will never disappoint about the food, the service are great, the food awesome. Thank you so much MR Vert's for the great work. Haitian food are the best food to eat when you travel to Pompano Beach Florida. Specially MR Vert's restaurant. I don't regret the money I paid for the food.

First of I should tell yall if yall want so good Haitian food I recommend to not go there, the food was nasty 🤮 the griot I ordered I was so upset I told the no fat and Fry my griot not so hard and they did just the opposite I paid entirely too much for those little plates The rice was hard. It did not have any flavor. I threw that away, and I took the picture of my grito, and after I even ate some of the grito I got sick afterwards, I called and told the food was disgusting, I wanted my money back they acted as if they couldn’t help with so I came and did my review. The sauce they made was spicy and also the rice was very hot and spicy. I repeat do not go eat at this Haitian spot. The food is not good at all.it better food truck then there’s and they do not they those Haitian ladies working on that truck as well. Their customer service is terrible and they’re not able to help customers at all.

$19 for a turkey lunch special that comes with only PLAINTAINS & no rice. rice is an up charge. no bags for walk up customers. pikliz not included with the plate it’s an up charge. idk for how much they charge i can go somewhere else and get a huge plate for less, everything included. the food itself isn’t bad but they are not doing haitian restaurants any justice with certain things.

I ordered delivery from them. The order was incomplete. When I called to let them know, the lady acknowledged that they didn’t have some of the items I ordered. I asked her why she didn’t substitute what was missing for something else. Her solution was they’ll add my missing items to my next order. No refunds no nothing. Yeah I will not order from them again.
