Ms B’s M&M’s soul food

The lady at the window was a sweetheart! The food was well portioned and the price is fair. The gravy on the rice was a bit cold, the top of the Mac n cheese was dry, under was yummy. The collard greens are so delicious! I got the smothered chicken and the pieces were huge! I’m so happy it came with corn bread! Oh, how I love cord bread! Definitely coming here again

This place is trash!!! I literally just left this place spending over $65 and they gave em burnt oxtails, hard burnt chicken!!! Just horrible. Black own business but they food is horrible!! They gave me a huge piece of celery in my dressing that was hard still!!

The young man who took my order very nice. The dressing was good but sweet, and the Mac and cheese was a little dry. My pork chop was great and the yams were on point.

I stopped after I saw grand opening sign. The food portions were right for the price. Ordered liver n onions, dressing, yams and greens. With rice n gravy as side. I believe it was the gravy too salty, but it was over everything except the greens n yams. I waited to eat after some hours at home. I really should have taken it back $64 it was not edible. Maybe I should have washed the gravy off ..... Lol!

Well I bought a plate of turkey wings and greens was so salty I couldn't even eat it, red beans was salty.. corn bread was hard , lol my granddaughter threw it down like 2 or 3 times and it didn't even break 😅. Wow never again. My daughter chicken taste like they warmed it up she said all that food was a waste of money too damn salty 🧂

AWESOME is a word to describe the taste of the food, the menu selections, and the professional and personable approach to the customer. I'm so glad I decided to order one of my favorites, liver and onions. It exceeded my expectations.

We wanted to find a place and it seems this spot moved from Hawthorne to Crenshaw. Food was ok. My dad was happy. Mac n Cheese was good. So we're the greens.

The customer service wasn't pleasant at all! I called up there because I was at the speaker pushing the drive through ready to order and when the lady answered the phone she was EXTREMELY RUDE! Even kept the same attitude when I went in to order. Food was okay, peach cobbler wasn't tasty.

I stopped in to try this place finally after driving by it everyday. I did the fried chicken dinner which came with 2 sides and cornbread muffins. The chicken was perfectly thin and crispy with plenty of meat on the bone. Greens delicious and not over seasoned like most places. Good chunks of turkey leg (I'm assuming) were visible and nice big cuts of greens. The Mac & cheese was nice and ooy gooey. My only suggestion is the cornbread muffins be cooked a little less as they were dry. The staff was all super friendly and on top of it. The dining area is very small, but they also have a drive through and do catering. I saw a food truck in their lot as well.

Just awful service from the workers..the lack of disrespect is at an all time high!! Keep your money.

My 12-year-old made a mention regarding how empty the restaurant was. My response was, that could be good or bad. It was BAD. BAD is an understatement. They don't clean or bother to season the chicken. No salt or pepper was used. It had no favor. The gravy is obviously from a can. The candied yams looked promising but they needed a little more time in the oven. The Mac N Cheese was a mushy mess. Greens were the only thing tolerable and we had to drench them in hot sauce. I will not mention the turkey wings because after I saw the feathers on the wings, I lost my appetite. Don't waste your money. This food is too expensive to be dog food.

The food was very bad. I'm SO DISAPPOINTED! I have eaten from the Ms. Bs on Imperial and thought this was the same place. NOT AT ALL. This food had very little flavor, the short ribs were tough, the chicken was dry, and there was no seasoning, the dressing, thw corn muffins... im just annoyed. Hkw isnan ENTIRE MEAL BAD? I haven't eaten ALL DAY , so I was really looking forward to this meal. I will NOT eat here again. DEFINITELY NOT THE SAME AS THE MS. Bs on IMPERIAL.

I suggested this location not knowing it was owned my Ms B. I have boycotted her for years because she is not customer-focus. To my dismay when I got here I heard it was her second location. I would have left but I was with a group of friends and we weee hungry. 30 min after I placed my order, I was told they had no liver and onions. An hour in and they don't have any dressing. On top of that we are sitting in a small room with no ventilation and a locked door. I tried to take a picture of the sign that the door is to remain unlocked but the Sun in my eyes is blinding. Everyone is standing outside as we wait for our food. Never again.

Was driving down Crenshaw the other week & saw that Soul Food had replaced Jordan's Hot Dogs. We've been looking for a new soul food place, especially since Dulan's is closed for renovations and Fixin's is far w/o take-some-home portions. Ms. B's M&M has inside seating, but is probably more comfortable as a take out location. Food was good. (Seasoning can be easily adjusted with a shake of Suzy Q). Portions are generous. Fish is fried very nicely. Will def order some of the sides again even though the others were still good. Hot, the corn muffin was very dense and came across as carrot instead of corn (bran? cane syrup instead of sugar?), but we liked it. The breakfast menu is intriguing. We'll be back. NOTE: Take the Metro K train, get off at Slauson & walk South a few blocks along the east side of Crenshaw.

$60 for two meals and my order is NOT right. It's 100 degrees today, they don't have AC inside and I promise it took 30 minutes for the order to be made. I'm pissed off. Check your bag before you leave cause they have a big no refunds sign posted. They must mess up folks orders all the time.

I love the food the there the young man that took my order was so nice I'm so glad the owner is given young people jobs I will be back I recommend it short ribs and Mac

First let me start off by saying I 've never done this before but l am tired of M &M Soul Restaurant moving from place to place. What they need to do is get a very good cook . I have tried the breakfast several times each time. I was disappointed. Today I ordered salmon croquettes they were flat and hard like cookies. THE Person I was with ordered turkey sausage they tasted like rubber the grist wasn't cooked done. So moving from place to place is not the solution you need someone who can cook breakfast and all other food. Never ever go to this location.... There was a roach in my table while I was eating there. Nasty. Food was cold and didn't have any flavor. Don't recommend for anyone not even as a prank!

The place doesn't have air conditioning on a day that was scorching ! We tried to order Turkey Wings, they weren't ready...we tried to order Potato Salad, they were out of it ! My friend ordered Dressing and it was just cornbread with gravy poured over it. I ordered Greens that had no flavor, Red Beans that were bland...We were highly disappointed. Please go somewhere else for your Soul Food meal !

I received food from this exact same M & M's. I'm just going to keep it short..I WON'T BE GOING BACK AGAIN. Listen people, save your money and your time. DON'T GO THERE. NUFF SAID!!!

I was truly disappointed in the the service and food .. I was in last Thursday got a turkey wing plate.. the Turkey was spoiled and as I called to complain on the phone they were good Abt it told me to bring back I did .. I got there all it was a whole different story the supposite kitchen manager was rule unapologetic and accusatory Abt my claim.... As the employee I spoke told him they would take care of it but that wasn't good enough for him... After all was said I got my money back I was so di5ive been waiting for them to open and my 1st and last experience with them was a HORRIBLE ONE .. way to welcome yourself to the neighborhood Ms B's.... Thanks to Isaiah, and I wouldn't suggest this restaurant to any one ... The new Chrenshaw location .. for far .. it's a a bust.... There are better ones on Crenshaw any way.... 1 star. And that's only because I can't send the post without selecting a star
