MS. OHHO

No one can speak Korean so I don't know if the place is even authentic. Usually gets delivered slightly stale for 떡꼬치. I asked if 떡볶이 is made with 밀떡 or 쌀떡. People working here are completely unaware of what Korean food is to begin with. I think the place is for Americans who want to think that they enjoy Korean food but just very Americanized version of it. There's nothing wrong with it but doesn't seem like the place is for Koreans.

Sad to write this review because I really used to enjoy the food here. The past two times I’ve ordered delivery from Ms. Ohho, the food has had an old, expired odor and funk. Not sure how this is getting through quality control. First, it was a galbi tang a few weeks ago — something I’ve loved and ordered from here many times— that had an unmistakable offputting taste and smell. Today, it was a seafood soondubu in which the tofu had a clearly expired taste that made the rest of the stew inedible. The vegetables were also so mushy it had me wondering how they store and make these stews— or at least for delivery. I do really like Ms. Ohho so I hope they fix it soon and double check their inventory— but after experiencing this twice now, I’ll look to other spots instead.

MS OHHO in Brooklyn is my new favorite for authentic Korean dishes! Just experienced hotstone Bibimbap and seafood Jjambong at MS OHHO, and I'm hooked! The sizzling Bibimbap was a delightful mix of textures, and the Jjambong's rich seafood broth was perfection. MS OHHO knows how to elevate Korean cuisine!

As a vegetarian, I'm thrilled with the delicious options at MS OHHO. Tried the Kimchi Kalguksu, The flavors are fantastic, and the service is top-notch. A must-visit for delicious vegetarian options with great service!

It is such a nice restaurant!! The portions are huge, the side dishes delicious and the food is magnificent. Would recommend it!!

You don't need to be from Korea to know the Korean national dishes, unfortunately expectation vs reality hits different soup made from old beef meat has no taste even though I addressed the issue she even didn't try to admit it and offer refund or offer different dish first and last time here not worth my $50

Huge fan- happy to see another korean spot open up! Ordered dolsot bibimbap and the stir fried pork - both were delicious and I’d eat again. The rice was so crispy for the dolsot and there were plenty of fresh veggies and ingredients. FYI there’s no bathroom.

Ordered online for delivery. Got japchae: overwhelming soy sauce taste, barely any veggie toppings. Very disappointed Yookaejang: my partner didn't reallly enjoy it Jokbal: wish there was radish kimchi to go with. The pork feet themselves were only okay.

The hot stone Bibimbap was really good. I love my rice crispy :) Overpriced, like everything else in New York. I wouldn't pay that price again. I'd need a coupon or something to make it worth it.

Cheap and easy place to eat in Brooklyn. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. I haven't been able to eat bibimbap in forever because it always has meat!

chicken was dry, possibly old, overcooked . tasted absolutely disgusting I can't finish it. I feel cheated.

Doordash Pickup review: Double check your orders if you're picking up. There were 0 customers when I walked in to pick up my order around 3:30pm and I ordered a soup + kimbap. When I got home, the rice was missing (this is a huge part of the meal or you're just eating soup as the main entree). I understand people make mistakes but for a place that wasn't busy at all, I don't understand what the excuse is for something so simple.

Ubereats from them , got veg kimbab and kimchi stew hand torn noodle ! I really loved the kimbab! Thats probably the best kimbab i have had so far and the soup was just the right one for me . 아주 맛있는 aju mas-issneun

I've only had delivery from here, but I've ordered many a time! I adore korean rice cakes, particularly the sweet soy version that I don't often find on menus, but Ms. Ohho has them! The rice cakes are always soft and chewy with veggies, in a lovely sweetened soy sauce sauce. Their gyoza is also good, flavorful with crispy edges. Will definitely continue to order from here!

Honestly the food wasn't that good. Maybe LA Ktown spoiled me. I at least don't recommend the tangsuyuk

I ordered Bibimbap and kimchi stew tonight through Ubereats and the bibimbap came without the sauce. I was so sad because I was looking forward to eating it. Like the sauce is the star of a bibimbap, how could it be missing? Anyways the kimchi stew was very good and flavorful and had loads of kimchi and pork belly. It might be my favorite kimchi stew I have had in a while. Definite 5/5 for the kimchi stew and hopefully they give me sauce for the bibimbap next time.

I really wanted to try the food unfortunately never got the opportunity. The staff behind the counter was more involved in having a phone conversation and pacing back-and-forth behind the counter, did not even acknowledge us when she clearly saw us ready to order. we stood there for minutes!

Food is fine, I probably won't come back. The biggest thing was when we walked in, the woman behind the counter was asleep and didn't wake up for at least 10 minutes of us standing there not knowing what to do. We began ordering online and hoping that would work, but she then woke up and acted like nothing happened.

A new Korean addition to the neighborhood. Food is tasty and they have some Korean specialty groceries and a small seating area.

I ordered Sam gae tang and Matcha love just now (3/30 @10:30pm) and this is what I got. The bowl of rice looks half eaten as you can see from my pictures and they did not even put my drink. I just CAN NOT believe this. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. I am throwing everything out. who knows what they did to my food. I am reporting to department of health to inspect this entire restaurant.

Another covid-era delivery review... Ms Ohho has quickly developed into one of our favorite Korean delivery spots. No doubt about it, the food is consistently good, even delivered. But the dish that brings me back SoonDuBu stew. I remember there was a time when I couldn't really appreciate Korean stews. Such strong flavors... But luckily my taste buds got over themselves and those times are long past. They do soup well here. We also enjoy their japchae, bulgolgi, and kalbi (other items, too numberous to mention, as well). Try it...

Ordered a bibimbap and kimchi jjigae via doordash to be pleasantly surprised (hence the review). The spice level on the jjigae was good for me, going to try it in person soon. +_+

The hot stone pot bibimbap for takeout here is an art. Seriously though, when I ordered hot stone pot bibimbap for takeout, I was certain it was just a scheme to charge more for normal bibimbap. But no I was wrong - the rice actually came crisped, perfectly shaped to fit the takeout container - with a runny egg embedded in the middle, on top of which the veggies were piled. And once mixed all together, I couldn't have told you the difference between this bibimbap and one actually getting crisped by a hot stone pot. I've tried a number of their other dishes as well - the jokbal here is also a highlight. So flavorful and fatty and delicious. Unfortunately, the samgaetang was a disappointment, no real ginseng flavor, but I probably shouldn't be expecting much ginseng in a $16 dish. The soondubu here was fine - I've been trying takeout soondubu from all the Korean spots in my area and they've all been lackluster, but Ms OHHO's was probably the best of the bunch. It looks like their jajangmyun is also quite legit so want to check that out another time!

Got delivery via Uber Eats for lunch. Overall it was quite pricey and not worth it imo. The hot stone bibimbap is exceptional, even as delivery, as other reviews have said. The kimchi kalguksu and jeyuk bokkum were too spicy, and not the good kind of spicy. The kalguksu also came with the noodles already in the soup so the noodles were overdone by the time they reached us. They're also store bought noodles so definitely felt overpriced for what it was.

Terrible customer service - I ordered through their app while sitting at the restaurant, received a confirmation email and then after waiting for 30 minutes without any service, I checked on my order. The staff was immediately rude to me for zero reason, claimed they never received my order even when i showed them the confirmation (on their site!), made zero effort to help me and yelled at me when I politely asked them to make the order for me. Will not be returning here and strongly recommend other people avoid this place unless you like being made to feel terrible for the restaurant making a mistake. Worst experience I've had ordering food in 5 years living in New York.

Came in to get a casual lunch. The lady behind the counter was ASLEEP haha. We waited for over 15 minutes for her to wake up and when she did she barely recognized us and seemed like she didn't want to take our order. Food was just okay. Bizarre vibes though. Idk if I'd recommend or go back.

Perfect little place to get coffee or some confort food on a rainy or cold day as they have a few tables indoor (rare for a coffee shop since covid started). I didn't try their food but it looked amazing and my soy latte was perfect. They offer soy, almond and oat milk. I will definitely come back, especially if I'm looking for a coffee shop with indoor seating.

Jjajangmyun and Jampong delivery in Brooklyn?! I was super excited. I would pay for the Brooklyn premium if it was worth it, but sadly, not really so. The Tangsuyook was the worst I've had- barely any meat, lots of fried fluff- it was also VERY crunchy, like you're biting into a fried snack. The black bean noodle and spicy seafood soup were just subpar, and noodles seemed like udon noodles. It's worth the trek to Queens for Korean-Chinese.

Got the Spicy Pork bibimbap - the worst /least flavored Korean pork dish I've had from any Korean spot in NYC, hands down. Wings are meh - not very flavourful or saucy, needs a dip or something. Quality of the chicken itself is good though Kimchi soup is decent, so that's a plus. Won't be back

. . 1 . . , . , . I leave a food review for the first time in my life. Plz do not order tang soo yook. Even a single star is a waste. It was like eating fried flour dough. It doesn't have any pork on it, and it's the first time I've ever felt bad while eating. Not only did I throw away more than half, but I still have indigestion.

Incredible, quality Korean food! I don't think there's anything like MsOhho in Brooklyn and I am so glad they were able to deliver all the way to Bushwick. I got the fried chicken, jokbal and some picked sides and they were so.damn.good! Can't wait to order from here again.

This cute cafe is a pretty chill vibe during the week. Our overall experience wasn't too bad. They serve and theirs is AMAZING and so delicious. The broth is perfection. You aren't transported back to Seouk but it's a nice stop in Greenpoint. The matcha latte is one of different taste.... bare that in mind when ordering. We aren't sure if it was made right but without the weird matcha latte this place is easily a top notch stop for some quick korean food.

I have been getting delivery from here via seamless/caviar, and I have to say this is one of the best Korean restaurants around. The bibimbap is really amazing. The wings are also good! The price is also reasonable -- their main dish is basically two meals. They have healthy options too. I strongly recommend this place!

My Korean partner wasn't feeling well and jaeyuk bokkeum is one of her favorite foods, so I decided to order her lunch from Ms Ohho. Unfortunately, the jaeyuk bokkeum at Ms Ohho isn't really a Korean dish - its more of an oily Chinese fried pork dish and even the many of the veggies used (broccoli, bell pepper, woodear mushroom) are more common in Chinese food than Korean. There was no taste of gochujang or sesame oil, which are the key ingredients of the jaeyuk bokkeum sauce. The bottom was just a pool of oil. My partner was shocked that this would be called Korean food.

Everything I've had here so far is really good. Best korean food in BK and I've been to several spots. The dolsot bibimbap has that perfect crisp at the bottom. The seollungtang was nice and rich. I also had the jajangmyun and now I'm glad I dont have to trek all the way to ktown to get some. I wish they were closer to me cause I'd go all the time. And somebody here complained about prices but I actually dont think prices are that bad. Ktown manhattan prices are way worse. GOGOGOGOGO

Friday night. The only reason this isn't 1 star is cause the food is pretty good, and the decor inside is nice. When I went in, there was no one to greet me. The host was inside the kitchen bagging items. No acknowledgment. So I ended up ordering through their square QR code. I ended up waiting 22 minutes for a single order of bibimbap. The employee didn't come out to tell me they're running behind. I just sat there waiting for this food. Another customer came in and ordered a cappuccino. She waited probably 8 minutes for that drink. Another customer came in after her. The employee said he'd be right with her. He left back into the kitchen and didn't come out for over 10 minutes. She just walked around waiting for him to come out. When I got my food finally, her order went even taken yet. Legend says she's still waiting to place her order. Overall, terrible experience, decent Korean food.

The food is so good! I love the hot stone bibimbap. I like the drinks, just the usual type of cafe drinks. The customer service is excellent. It is a little expensive for me, so I don't go as often as I would like. I definitely recommend the place though and I hope they stick around.

Ordered for the first time, food was cold upon arrival, the green cheesecake was I think over priced for the minuscule portion received. Same goes for the $30 platter that came with a kids size side of rice. Over all not the best experience.

This place slaps! So so good. We've only ordered delivery from here and it's always super fast. Personal favorite is the World Best Bibimbap with tofu - fresh and tangy veggies, perfectly balanced with their spicy sauce. Bf usually gets the Jabchae with beef and/or chicken wings. Seasoning and quality are both on point. Great Greenpoint neighborhood addition.

Amazing korean food! The yookgaejang and the spicy kalbitang is outstanding. The meat is so tender and the broth has a good flavor. However the fact that they charge extra for glass noodles is a little ridiculous as they are a staple ingredient for both soups. No other korean restaurant charges extra for an ingredient that's supposed to go in there. The seafood pajeon is good but the texture is very off. It's too dough-y and not crispy as it should be. I didn't try the jjajangmyun but my husband really it. Also a staple for korean food is to provide side dishes and they gave us one kimchi for 5 dishes. The flavors are authentic but the experience is not.

This is by far the best korean food I've had in Brooklyn! I've ordered it so many times and it's always delivered on quality and authenticity. I think the taste even beats some of the restaurants in ktown. We love the kimchi jigae, the chicken wings and the bulgolgi but truthfully, it's all very delicious. 10/10 recommend

We've ordered delivery from here a few times now. Their kimchi stew is always amazing and consistent! Love the richness and how they do not skimp on kimchi. Other dishes I've tried.. Bulgogi: I'm usually not a fan of bulgogi b/c it's on the sweeter side but their bulgogi had the perfect amount of sweetness. Soondubu: I'm always on the hunt for good soondubu and this one was pretty good! The portions were generous and the soup was flavorful. Tang soo yook: This dish was disappointing as the tang soo yook wasn't crispy and there wasn't a lot of meat in the pieces. Samgyubsal BBQ: As expected!

To the review below , the pork tangsooyook is supposed to be like that. It's made with potato starch. Please be kind esp that we are in COVID and a third of small businesses will close this year. Only a few Korean places serve jjampong and jajamyun anymore, so let's keep this one around.

We love Korean from Little Dokebi in Greenpoint and thought we'd try this place as well. It's nice and clean inside, with a pretty good look going on. The seating is a little awkward and limited. Kind of wish it kept the old format from when it was a Chinese takeout place. We don't need another place trying to be a coffee shop really and there would be more seating. We each ordered a beef Bibimbap to go. While it was edible and all, it didn't live up to expectations based on how much $ we spent and comparing to LD. Everything was cold when we ate it a few minutes later at home and had some off veg involved. We may give another try with their wings, but will be sticking with Little Dokebi for now.

This place is easily the best Korean restaurant in Brooklyn. I've been to all of them, and I was straight up shocked at how good it was. At this point, I've had almost their entire menu and everything has been very good. I honestly don't understand how this small place is able to offer the variety of home style Korean food they have on their menu, but some how they are making it work. There are a lot of reviews on here that are complaining about price, and what I'm guessing is that these people are bench marking off some of the fast casual Korean places around Brooklyn. These are not fair comparisons as this place is easily a caliber above all of those. My recent orders that I particularly enjoyed were: 1. Tang Soo Yook + Jja Jang Myun. I split these two orders with two people. 2. Jok Bal + Kimchi Stew. Also split with two people.

Ordered the Sangyeopsal and Sulang tang on Postmates. First of all the Sangyeopsal did not come with white rice. The menu on postmates clearly states it comes with rice. Now my girlfriend just has a bowl of pork with nothing to eat it with. The Sulung Tang is good, but they did not include the spicy paste the soup traditionally comes with. If you're Korean, you know what I'm talking about. Instead I get some kind of watered down ggochujang variant. Lastly, no banchan (side dishes). I've never ordered from a Korean restaurant where you don't get any banchan. Eating Korean soup without any kimchee is just ludicrous I'm sorry. Banchan is what completed a good Korean meal. Wondering if they're just being cheap or just forgot it. The food tastes good but its ruined by all the missing things these dishes should traditionally come with to make it complete. It's just really disappointing.

There noodle dishes are amazing and they make the best americano in greenpoint! Perfect for dinner or a coffee!

What an amazing find!!! I've always loved the decor and ambiance of this place. The food tastes fresh and clean. Great family atmosphere & nice service. I'm giving 5 stars, only because i cannot give 6 or 7.

I went for the food--I found it very tasty, although prices are on the high side and eating facilities super minimal--which is not so different from quite a few small shops aimed at young people in a number of Asian countries .

One of the best options for Korean comfort food in the Astoria/LIC area. Their kimbap is bomb, I have yet to try something from them I haven't thoroughly enjoyed.

Love this place so much! I've eaten inside once(very cute!), and ordered delivery a few times. The food is always super delicious, and the service is friendly and great. I love the bulgogi and bibimbap the most, but honestly everything is just great. Always look forward to my Ms Ohho meals!

Its great to see a new Korean place in Greenpoint. Especially on this side of McGuinness Blvd. Staff is super friendly, I love the clean inviting decor. Food was delicious on this cold day I'm writing this review. I had to dumpling soup and kimchi dumplings. I look forward to ordering from here and I wish them so much luck! Welcome to the neighborhood!
