This is the safest place for me to eat (dairy allergy) and also consistently the most delicious! I highly recommend the chocolate sheet cake but I also love how they rotate lots of different things. I can always grab something I know I love as well as something new to try.

Calling all vegans everywhere💜💜 this store is absolutely phenomenal. Wow,with a full vegan menu. Amazing smells and flavors, even a special kids, area, Wi-Fi, and Coffee that will melt the Heavens. This is a great place with a wonderful atmosphere. Even the kids are welcomed with their own special spot with books and their own table. I love how friendly the staff is and how welcoming it feels here. If you’re in the area, please please stop in 🙏🏻even if you’re not vegan it doesn’t matter you’ll find something you love on the Menu. Great job! Keep up the good work. I can’t wait to come back.

My favorite place on earth. Michael and the staff are so attentive and cheerful. I’ve been coming to Mudpie for years and I am still impressed with their seasonal drinks and treats. I HIGHLY recommend trying the chai, pumpkin sheet cake, and fried donuts (weekends only).

Vegan is great. Gluten free is great. These vegan gluten free pastries are not great. I should have just gone to the ocean with a spoon and shoveled sand into my mouth. However, the coffee was fire. 🔥

I was so exited to try this place, we drove from lees summit to have breakfast. The sweets are ok but the worst part was the coffee, we just left an we had to chuck it in the bin, the coffee was burnt, watery and not tasty at all. Such a shame. Probably won’t come back.

I live in Minnesota but come to Kansas often. Every time I come, I visit this place. The best pastries and very well made coffees! The staff is always, ALWAYS amazing but especially Jacob and Devon. They remembered things about me in my visits which made the experience that much better! Will always recommend this place, wish I had one in Minnesota!!

I miss the 39th Street location, but the suburban location on 95th is a reasonable successor. It's comfy, the service is still great and the coffee and tea selections are still wonderful. I'm particularly impressed by Mud Pie's attention to vegan and other special dietary needs (without sacrificing taste). I like to grab a table in back and spend some time reading, writing, drinking tea and enjoying some peace for a little while. This is the perfect spot for it.

We would be here all the time if we lived close! A location where everything is safe for my little guy is hard to come by. He enjoyed being able to pick a donut. I took a star off because the selection was very limited by the time we were able to get there. Seems that should be accounted for since other reviewers mentioned it as well. We selected an apple crumb cake, vanilla donut, chocolate donut, and a brown sugar latte. All were delicious! They have a very cool indoor space, but we opted for the patio so our pup could join us. Hope to be back the next time we are in the area!
