Muddy's Coffee House

A quiet, unassuming coffeeshop with an enchanting palette of patrons. The environment is calm, the music soothing, and the decor pleasing, making this a good place to work (power outlets abound). As others have noticed, the quality of wifi fluctuates. The food offering is modest. I tried the spinach empanada, which was ok, not much spinach out there. The carrot cake was fine. Else, a regular selection of bagels and cookies. They open early and close late. Last but not least, the coffeeshop server was very affable. Note: cash only.

I've been coming here for over 20 years, it's stays true to the name...the best strong coffee in SF. I'm a proud native from the Mission. Nobody compares, the staff sweet and wonderful! Leaving a heart shape design in my extra hot soy latte. I heart you back, Muddy's. Come taste for yourself, you won't be dissatisfied.

Really the best coffee shop to sit and read for a while. Unlike more "hip" ones in the area, Muddy's has plenty of seating, quiet coffee shop music, and enough day light to see without a screen. Prices are great too.

Muddy's Coffee is totally the greatest coffee in town. It taste great real coffee compared to any coffee shop in town. Worth to try while enjoying your coffee & doing your laptop work. If you won't agree then try it for yourself!!!

Barista was a super cool badass - she totally held it down and made like 5 peoples' drinks at the same time while still managing to be funny and charming. Also love that Muddy's (both locations) have good drinks, tasty treats, reasonable prices, and I've never seen anyone bug people to keep buying stuff if they stay a while to read, write, or work remotely. Can get crowded, but definitely a great place overall and worth the wait for a table if you want a nice place to sit for a while.

This coffee house has been around for decades. Used to come here almost daily back in '00 when i lived just around the corner. U can't beat cozy comforts of feeling like u r hanging out at grandma's house. And the coffee is strong and tastes fresh. :)

There are plenty of outlets, tables, and chairs. Cash only! Coffee wasn't great- but it does have caffeine. The bathroom was gross- the service was pretty negative. I may be back for use of the outlets and such- but I'm not super happy with it.

Great atmosphere, but it's not a coffee lovers shop. It's a place you go to hang out comfortably and spend time talking with friends or working on a project. Good WiFi and friendly staff.
