"Pursuing an original approach to ramen, the chef works with carefully selected ingredients.  Soup is prepared from free-range chicken and guinea fowl to bring out maximum flavour. Noodles, produced on the premises, are crafted for a delicious finish. Wontons stuffed with wagyu filling are the very flavour of luxury. Counter seating features an earthen wall made by a plasterer and wooden trays typical of Japanese restaurants. A ceaseless drive for improvement is evident in every bowl of ramen." - Michelin Inspector

Pictured are the 桑名蛤と茸の潮そば / kuwana hamaguri to take no shio soba and the 特製蔵出し醤油そば / tokusei kuradashi shoyu soba. (ig @wei.oframen for my ramen log 🫡) Mugito Mensuke offers a unique ramen dish with chicken and guinea fowl to create a rich broth. This kuradashi shoyu is still one of my favorite ramen bowls due to its variety of toppings. It's a delightful experience to savor so many different flavors and textures in a single bowl of ramen. The crown on top is the grilled guinea fowl accompanying the broth from the same bird. I was also able to grab their gentei clam bowl on another visit. The broth was already delicious, but the mushroom reduction kicked it up a notch further. The yuzu zest layered at the bottom then came in for another delightful surprise as I finished the bowl.

Our first full day in Osaka and we decided to just stroll around. We saw a Main Street headed towards it and found a huge queue so just joined it. Over 1.5 hours later we sat down to some outstanding Ramen. The staff were helpful in ordering non meat for my wife and had some English. The food was delicious. Highly recommend.

I arrived at 10:57 and the line was already long. My food was served at 12:39. It was my first time to have ramen with wonton and I loved the addition but I loved the side dish of chashu on rice more! I was just a side but for me it was the star of the show. It was sweet and smoky! I loved how I can watch the assembly line for the ramen and sides. Everything was fast paced but the quality is five star!

Waited 90 minutes for a seat this afternoon at Megito Mensuke for the three meats. Ordered extra Kobe beef ravioli and egg because we didn’t realise they came together anyway. Also had to try the flame grilled char siu pork and again another egg! Was delicious chicken broth and silky smooth ramen noodles. The pork and chicken were excellent.

This is a restaurant where people in Osaka stand in line to eat. The chicken-based Soyu ramen is very clean and light. The luxurious taste is also excellent. However, the eggs added to the soup were almost raw, so it had a fishy taste and the soup was not very salty. The beef rice that can be ordered on the side is quite delicious. Definitely order it with it.

Authentic ramen was top-notch! We waited in line for about 30 minutes. There were not many people at this time (October). I have feedback for this restaurant. It would be great to have a menu in English and display a picture. It’s hard for us to understand the Japanese language.

One of the most delicious ramen I had in Osaka. The broth is very light but full of flavor, not too salty. They add some ingredients like yuzu or shizo flower not only to make it look beautiful but to add to the taste. Definitely worth the wait !

You will have to wait a bit in the queue but absolutely worth it. Amazing ramen and super friendly staff / atmosphere. There are only around 10 spots so not sure if it’s suitable for larger groups. 100% recommend when in Osaka.
