If you're into $10-$14 boxes of cereal or $8-$13 quarts of milk, this is your spot. Better variety compared to a Whole Foods or Trader Joes?...no, not really. Same processed brands as any other but at a higher price point. Silver lining...foot traffic is low so nice for those in a rush.

I love this place. It has a lot of organic offerings and it's all natural. The customer service is really great and everyone's very personable. The prices are reasonable and I've been there many times and I'll continue to return

I came here after WholeFoods had closed on Christmas Eve, after the gym and was followed around by the manager. Admittedly, I was wearing snow boots and had my gym bag, but the attention wasn't appreciated.

Google
They add sales tax here to Kombucha and that is not taxed in NY state.

Google
Nice place to get something quick, produce is a little light so you won’t be doing a lot of grocery shopping but they definitely have enough stuff here and there to get something you’ll want - might not be exactly what you want though. They do have a good selection of drinks - got a beet juice drink here.

Google
Great selection and convenient. Very expensive. But in a pickle it’s a good spot.

Google
There is a great range of different flavors for one item. I like it.

Yelp
This location some of the products are very expensive. For example, Tofu, is usually around $2 or $3,but I saw at this location costs $5.99!! Clean and nice inside store quite friendly. The basement is for meat or fish products. Self service is available. Again, just look at the price and some of them are very pricy. I've attached photos and I hope it will help.

Yelp
I used to make a special trip here because it was the only grind-your-own coffee place in the area. It also has a nice produce department and a good variety of bread. I agree that the staff is nice an knowledgeable. BUT, in an awful move, they have discontinued the coffee... only offering pre-bagged... like every other grocery store. Prices are higher than other places, and with the coffee gone, the good service and produce are not enough to get me to go there.

Yelp
I think Mulberry Market has a really great selection, I'm always pleased when going there and I make new discoveries as well. What I very much appreciate, the cashiers are always polite, friendly. Mulberry Market has an excellent staff!

Yelp
TLDR: Buy here if you want your room to smell like HELL. Terrible products and services. Went in yesterday to pick up a steak and upon opening, it smells diabolical - like some monstrosity straight from Dante's inferno. The smell was so intense and so explosive that my whole room was immediately saturated with the scent of rotten flesh. After carefully disposing this bio-hazard level steak, I decided to call the store and inform them about this and was told I was the "first customer" to complain about this issue. Lol. Guess I wouldn't have called and complained if I ingested the steak - I would have deceased from vomiting my guts out. Solid 1 start for Mulberry Market!!

Yelp
I walked by this market on accident and walked in because I needed some cream. It's a pretty nice market. Relatively big. In some senses it reminds me a lot of Whole Foods especially with the prices. But go figure. No surprise there. I specifically came here to write this review for the eggshell I found in the egg salad I bought and hoped to find some sort of contact. After reading the reviews, I can probably relate to the one about incorrect pricing. I did self check out personally because I love to be able to track my prices. Especially for just a couple items. My creamer got scanned incorrectly as $8.99 instead of the sale price of $5.99 and I found someone who was able to correct it for me. Anyway, maybe I'll revisit.

Yelp
MAKE SURE YOU WATCH THEM SCANNING & ALWAYS GET YOUR RECEIPT Cashier tried scamming me today with a bill of $112 when I had a few snacks & drinks. I would have thought that NOT clearing out a prior transaction was an honest mistake but the entire interaction with the cashier proved I caught a scam in process. $90 worth of groceries were bagged up and ready to be taken away by the cashier's mysterious hispanic friend waiting at the end of the check out. Once I realized there was no way in hell I had spent that much money I demanded a refund on the spot. Cashier refused to get manager to void the transaction & instead manually scanned 20+ items to remove them from my transaction. Add that to reluctantly handing me both the receipt for $112 and not wanting to provide the refund receipt either this entire process was shady. I have never seen the guy working the cashier nor the other one at the store before. Had been coming here for 2 years & I guess I'll bag my own shit now just like at Whole Foods! VETE LA VERGA

Yelp
"Usually" a Great Place to shop, with great selection & mostly friendly employees, etc, but beware of the Meat Department, some meat is not as fresh as it should be with dates that are deceptive.

Yelp
Not what I expected. I ended up at Mulberry Market because I had the impression this place had bulk foods like dried fruit and nuts. It doesn't. Its not a health food store or a bulk food store. That was my mistake. And not the reason for the 2 stars. The prices. I'm a New Yorker and I was shocked by the prices even though I know this is in a tourist-y area of Manhattan. I saw some items I could use, but did not make a purchase because Mulberry Market had the most expensive groceries I've seen in Manhattan. Two stars because when I visited, the place was neatly stocked, well lit, and clean. It has all the things a grocery store should have. But you're going to spend 2-3 times more than usual if you shop here.

Harley M.

Yelp
Maximum choice, maximum products thoughtfully & accessibly (mostly) presented, staples, interesting stuff, wide range of choices & brands, good quality, interesting selection, efficient checkout. Grateful it exists.

Yelp
Omg, this market is brand new and kills it!! Totally awesome with great produce, gluten free products, cookies, chips, prepared foods that look healthy and delicious. This is BOMB!! My kids live close by and he's stoked to have a full service market nearby! I'm super excited to find it on their 2nd day open!!

Bonnie P.

Yelp
Honestly Nolita really needed a proper grocery store, this place is super clean and very convenient, it is two levels so you can basically pick up everything that you may need for the house - although be warned that the price is definitely higher compared to other grocery stores. My favorite things to come here for are like rolls, sandwiches or a quick hot meal - they have a hot buffet in behind the counter so that they can pick and pack you a quick lunch! The service is super nice, I have never had any issues and they definitely keep the store impeccably clean. I hope they have generally more sales on their groceries so I could have a one-stop shop experience but its okay!! There are a handful of things that I love to buy here and I visit other supermarkets for the remainder of the items I need for the week!! Would defintely recommend, make sure to bring your own bag!

Andie B.

Yelp
I came here to pick up some snacks after dinner. The supermarket was clean, bright, and had AC. The aisles were a bit narrow but, they were fully stocked with essentials and then some. I found a few "gourmet" things that I never saw before in other supermarkets. The prices are a bit more expensive but, I did notice a few things on sale.

Yelp
This store makes Whole Foods look like The Dollar Store! Most expensive store in the neighborhood. I miss Met Foods! The only way this store makes rent is because it's owned by Key Foods. If they had Key Foods prices then they would be great! I walk over to Key Foods on Avenue A to get Key Foods prices. The store is usually empty when I walk by with only a small handful off customers shopping there. Also, they claim to have a "Sales" flyer, but I have yet to see anything on sale!

Andre M.

Yelp
This place charges outrageous prices that are an affront to decency. Case in point: Their price for a regular sized Sabra hummus that costs $1.99 everywhere else? $5.99. That's exactly three times the normal price, which in this case may very well fit the legal definition of gouging. Compare their prices on everyday items to literally anywhere else, including your overpriced local bodega, and you will be shocked. You can walk out of there with cheese, soap, peanut butter and crackers and spend $50, an amount that could feed you for a week at Trader Joe's. They need to stop ripping off the people of this neighborhood so brazenly. It's pure greed, particularly at a time when grocery stores are already making huge profits during the pandemic. Shame on you, Mulberry Market. Shame!!

Yelp
Mulberry Market opened right before the pandemic and saved the neighborhood! They've become my go to store. Super friendly staff and great healthy and local options. Highly recommend!

Jimi C.

Yelp
Overpriced. The say they have weekly circular on their website, but there isn't one. I shopped at Met Foods for years and I was excited for this store to open, but Whole Foods is cheaper! I'll walk to Trader Joe's before shopping here and I live a half block away from this store. The prices are ridiculous. Seriously... and I thought Whole Foods was too expensive!

Joseph C.

Yelp
Small and fully stocked during the coronavirus. Easy to get in and out of quickly. A similar selection to Whole Foods, so I like it the best so I don't have to walk the extra blocks.

Max G.

Yelp
Stopped by here today and saw the coolest things in the produce section. Someone has made coconuts into a ready made beverage/snack. Tony coconuts. Refreshing..delicious...and all natural. Cannot wait to see these in more stores and you should definitely stop by and try one yourself.

Quan N.

Yelp
Very clean and easy to choose items. Hope they would have lore collections of wines. I had to get a Cab cocktails bottle for my Nee Year's eve :)

Lisa L.

Yelp
I know NYC's expensive but this place is horribly overpriced! I don't know if they're price gouging bc ppl need groceries during this crisis or just a plain rip off due to location and assuming yuppies will play whatever you set the price for. Either way stay away!

Sahudy P.

Yelp
Very happy to have this market by my apartment. Produce is great quality. The meat and seafood selection is great and different every time I visit. Staff is friendly. 2 floors of high quality products. I will continue to shop here :)

Sara L.

Yelp
Very nice and clean market with a great variety of food, even offers things I haven't seen before. Only downfall is it's expensive but I would expect that given the area.

Anthony C.

Yelp
I've lived across the street for 10 years. I LOVE that this place replaced the Associated grocer which closed down many years ago. Thank you for helping the community!

Bridget G.

Yelp
Finally a grocery store that has the brands I want for a reasonable price! Thankful this area finally got a good local market that has everything I want and is easy to find. Great quality items at a convient location. We love mulberry market!

Viktoria C.

Yelp
So thankful to have a grocery shop back in Nolita! Everyone who works at Mulberry Market are very friendly and helpful! They also have a great selection! Some a little pricey, especially vegetables. But love this market!

Anna B.

Yelp
Amazing clean new store, had tons of toilette paper when every one else was out due to the mass buying. In fact it had everything - fully stocked !! I was able to buy things here that they don't carry at Whole Foods like Nutella making it a one stop shop. So happy to have this gem in the community.

Lily D.

Yelp
After 3 years without an all-around neighborhood supermarket, this place is so welcome - and just in time for the coronavirus crisis, thank goodness! The store is well-organized, well-stocked, and pleasant to shop in. Very good quality produce and meats. Friendly staff. Prices are a bit high, but given the rent they have to pay in this area (purportedly $750K/year), not unreasonable. And their weekly sales are great. A very welcome addition to the neighborhood!

Sarah B.

Yelp
This place is EXTREMELY overpriced! I went here extremely excited about the new market in the neighborhood and couldn't get over how expensive each item was, which is significantly more than Whole Foods. Would not recommend coming here, you're better off at any bodega or regular grocery store unless you're willing to pay 5x the amount.

T S.

Yelp
Visiting family in the area and was wowed by this family owned gem of a market. Great selection of produce and products. Please patronize small stores like this. They are an asset to the neighborhood!

J M.

Yelp
Very clean all-around grocery with really nice breadth and depth of quality products. Service is friendly. The prices are on the higher end, but they're not as egregious as those of Gourmet Garage, and there's a good enough selection here to mix up price points on your grocery list. I'm really glad they opened!
