I can honestly say I've never bought meat at a farmers market before. Let me tell you, their pastrami will change your life. It is one of the best cuts of meat I've had in my life. When I'm in Austin on a Sunday you will find me with meat soaked fingers cause I'm eating that pastrami while at the park.

Oh boy how much did we enjoy the brisket! We were passing through Austin and a friend suggested us this place as a good example of a really good brisket. Being from Europe, i didn't know what to expect, except that it's eaten with bread. So we grabbed some sourdough from the market and ate in the park. Top experience marked by a great food!

absolutely love this food, the brisket and pastrami are unparalleled. you’d be hard pressed to find better cuisine or a kinder team. geoffrey’s level of service and expertise are top notch. they seem to sell out each week, so definitely recommend arriving early. looking forward to visiting their brick and mortar location when it opens.

There is a lot to like about this place...incredible meats, hearty sides, and reasonable pricing. I would say it was a three-way tie for me between the brisket, pastrami, and pork ribs. Preston came over to check on our meal multiple times, which I appreciated!

BEST smoked BBQ I've ever had! No sauce needed. All the flavor is from the rub they use and from the quality of the meat itself! Had the pastrami, ribs and brisket. Yum!

The deli page doesn't exist, so I am putting this, here. A buddy of mine wanted to come here given that it had just opened - I figured might as well give it a try, it's new! And the place that it replaced was solid (elaine's pork and pie), so I figured it would be just as good. I just ordered the hot pastrami (main thing shown on the menu) figuring that it would probably be the best judge of the food there. I was also given some "pralines" which definitely didn't look like pralines. So, the sandwich was like $16 (overpriced) and was pretty bland. I think that the meat was overly fatty, the portion too small, and the bread a bit dry. Pralines were not pralines - in fact, they were so bad that I had to spit out the bite that I had taken. They must have been experimenting, because they put rosemary and a bunch of other unidentifiable goods that don't belong in them. Not sure what the butter pie was supposed to taste like, but my friend described it as "warm snot" - I would agree with that. I felt bad leaving a review like this because the place is new, but for the money I paid, I definitely feel like I got the short end of the stick.

Visited the deli for the first time a couple of days ago and purchased The Rachel and a salad with smoked chicken. Top notch ingredients. Wonderful service. The sandwich was amazing. My wife had the salad and told me it was great too.

This is some of the best BBQ in Texas! Definitely the best pastrami I've had (and I've had them all in NYC and LA). Always a line and they start selling out of stuff pretty early.

Update for Texas Farmers' Market (TFM) as today I was delighted to see there is now a dedicated space INSIDE and outside for the vendors that are at this market! I was super happy to see that the inside space is large enough to have space in between each vendor in additional to utilizing the space in the middle for setups. The vendors here are so diverse and are really impressive. You have all sorts of options for exotic food all the way down to local farmers for produce and flowers. I even saw some artisan vendors that are selling cute items from balms, artwork, and candles as well. Parking is always free along the streets (on Sundays) but be sure you read the signs. You don't want to park in a residential zone so be sure you read all the signs around you. It was an easy walk to get to the vendors from the street parking as there are sidewalks and signs/blocked off areas where the visitors of the market can walk safely without worrying about traffic. There is a splash pad right in the middle of the market (part of the park) so for folks who have kids be aware! I know if I had my nephew with me he would be down to play in the splash pad with the other kids going wild in them. It was a very hot October day (wild to say, right?!) so I don't blame the kids and parents who were there cooling down and splashing around too. I love the "new" (to me) location as it really allows you to not have to compete with other community folks who are wanting to spend and hang out at Mueller Park.

Stopped by and there was a nice selection of booths selling produce, meats, ciders, baked goods, etc. Outside was also a nice selection of different kind of cooked foods to purchase to eat. Pros: - Large selection of things to buy/eat/drink/enjoy - Really nice area to bring the family and shop and perhaps have a snack/picnic on the lawn - Indoor AND outdoor. Obviously, the food booths that required cooking were set up outside, but a large number of booths were inside and in the shade. Booths circled the building, mostly in the shade. Great for those hot days - Live music - Really fun lively atmosphere Cons: - Hand crafted things aren't cheap Would I come again? If I was in the area, sure

Pretty decent farmer's market! Lots of organic goods, produce, farm goods, etc. and way more dogs I've seen at a farmer's market than I've ever seen in California. Parking is a nightmare but if you circle enough, it's possible to find free street parking. It does get a bit crowded and quite sunny and hot for the outdoor vendors, so make sure to spray on some sunblock and wear a hat. There are indoor vendors too, which is nice. Lots of goods for your dog which is nice. There are also lots of samples to try too. I got some Brazilian cheese bread and some organic dark roasted tea. Good stuff and most vendors take Apple Pay which is nice!

Get here before 10 or earlier if you are looking for street parking. I normally park a few blocks out where the apartments are and it's a nice and safe neighborhood to get out of the car and walk. The market is in a community hall and there are stands the line the outside of the building as well as a side street. There's also a park next to the market with bocce ball court, volleyball, and a children's landscape. There are quite a few fresh vegetable stands and meat vendors. There are cheese vendors and baked goods vendors as well. Lots of food and drink vendors as well. It's more food focused but there are some holistic product vendors as well as natural dog treat vendors. It can get crowded especially on clear sunny days. You can explore the market within in a hour at a normal pace. It's Sundays only from 10-2pm. They also operate the market at Lakeline if you need a Saturday market.

Great market but very very crowded. Some of the vendors out of product very early. Products were very fresh. Vendors very friendly..

Parking here is nearly impossible some days. We came on the day of a soccer game (so the nearby pub was also packed) and took actually 15 minutes to find a spot at 10:30AM. Their maps and vendor list are available online. We got unlucky to come on a day when their flower vendor didn't make it, which was why we came. I got my chef knives sharpened here for $10 each. Most other food expect to be about 2x grocery store prices. Quality seems to be good. Lines get insane after 11AM for places like eggs, bagels, and freshly squeezed juice.

My favorite lazy Sunday itinerary always includes the farmer's market at Mueller and then a nice little picnic afterwards with all of your goodies x I like to bring them to the little lake spot where the farmers market used to be! Great way to get to know your local businesses and support directly! I love trying all the new foods as well as browsing artisan crafts. Highlights for me include Ctrus Fresh Smash Lemonades (local- women owned since 2017) and Hi-Fi Mycology! I've been able to grow Lion's Mane, Oyster & Reishi mushrooms!! Make a day out of it and check out local businesses after like Alamo Drafthouse, Lady Quackenbush's Cakery and the Thinkery!

Love coming here on Sundays. Not only you can get everything you need for the week, it's also so much fun being so close to the lake area and all the little shops around. Come hungry too because there are lots of coffee, pastry, and food options to try. Very family friendly with a splash pad for kids. Parking is a bit tough but totally worth it.

Let's just say this was my first farmers market visiting here in austin and these place is definitely my new go to Sunday spots it feels so good to visit your local businesses owners and support them such a great feeling just seeing everyone out supporting the booths a few stands might have a line to stand in but it's worth the wait my favorite stands was yapa empanadas especially the chorizo it was amazing and then my favorite jeanys pressed Caribbean her natural juices and her all natural hot cocoa is so amazing and delicious

This was an amazing farmer's market because it is so big! To be very honest the amount of fresh produce was lacking but it's filled with mostly delicious food. There are many vegan options available as well as bbq meat options. Lots of drinks and ice cream. We tried tamales, empanadas, flan, Brazilian cheese bread, vegan ice cream. Everything was delicious and pretty worth. It's nice to take a walk around the area and see all the baked goods. There were long lines for some food items especially some fresh mashed citrus drinks.

Yesterday was my first time visiting the farmers market at its new location. It's perfect-- I loved the indoor/ outdoor aspect and the huge green space to sit and chill. There was live music, and an array of unique vendors. I purchased an amazing cheesecake dessert and some tea from two businesses. I lucked out on parking due to my office being nearby, but street parking is free on Sunday, so hopefully that helps. 5/5, I can't wait to go back!!

Food quality: 3.5/5 Good vibes: 5/5 To be completely fair, I don't go into this market expecting much and I was not surprised. The vendors options are sparse with the fresh produce, ready made foods look not too appetizing but the one thing I love about this place is how energetic and friendly all the farmers stalls and business owners are. I love love food and talking to a farmer/chef/seller about their products bring me endless delight. Today I got a light roast yaupon tea, on which I learned that yaupon a native plant to Texas that has naturally occuring caffeine. The taste is very subtle and it doesnt cause me jitters that I tend to have with caffeine. It's great. I also got my almond croissants from Texas French Bread, which caught my eye because they have a huge spread of fresh baked bread and pastries. I can see the thought and care they put into them because there are many, both variety and quantity + the way they store the bread and design their menu I just know the owners care. I am a big French pastries fan so I'm so glad that Austin has a decent french bakery. The croissants arent outstanding per se but I appreciate the effort and the love they put into them. Overall, a good place to walk around and browse. I might come back for fresh meats and more pastries next time.

It's been almost a month since Texas Farmer's Market at Mueller moved to its new digs at Branch Park Pavilion. Gorgeous location! Vendors set up both inside and outside, and there are various outdoor areas for people to sit and enjoy their just-bought drinks and snacks. I loved wandering around inside the Pavilion. It's shaded (obviously), has public restrooms and large garage-style overhead doors that open and let circulating breezes flow through. Lots of vendors set up around the outside perimeter and also on the closed-down Philomena Street segment between Aldrich Street and Mattie Street. Parking is crowded, but if we've always found spots within a few blocks' walking distance. There are also a couple of parking garages nearby but we've never had to use them. Today we bought purple okra from Bouldin Food Forest, duck rillette confit from Belle Vie Farm & Kitchen and Wagyu brisket from Mum Foods. Yum!

Easter Sunday was such a great day to go! Great weather, great company, and awesome vendors. Parking is mainly street parking. It opens at 10am so I recommend getting here close to that time to get closer street parking. If not then I hope it's a nice day for you to walk a bit. Vendors are set up inside the facility, outside, a long the side of the building, and along the sidewalk. You will find anything from succulents, to wine, to fresh squeeze juices, to food, coffee larva, vegetables, Brazilian bread, lavender, pasta...endless. Kid friendly because they have a play area for kids. A big grass section so make a picnic out of the goodies you bought from the farmers market and of course dog friendly.

This place gets packed!!! Good luck finding street parking because since COVID, it has massively expanded with indoor and outdoor booths. I think some people park at HEB and walk over. There is plenty of food and drink options to taste while here. Also, you can stock up on meats, veggies, fruits, bread, hummus, salsas, etc. Overall you can find things to buy and try while here.

Great farmers marker! Lots of vendors in hot & cold weather. Very dog friendly & vendors will give out dog treats. Items we loved: fresh bread, pickled veggies, smoked chicken salad, duck pate, kolaches, horchata, empanadas, cinnamon rolls, hummus, cheese, sausage, veggies and more!!

Absolutely fantastic farmers market from someone that visits markets in every town/city that I visit. It is indoor and outdoor with lots of baked goods, vegetables, canned goods, salsas etc. This market had some very unique finds like various flavored pastas, high quality oatmeal, fresh marshmallows in unique flavors, fermented vegetable salad dressing amongst other things. It is very dog friendly and they have multiple vendors with dog treats to purchase. This is a must visit event!

This is my go-to farmers market! Lots of variety of vendors although the selection of fresh produce is lacking sometimes. There's always a ton of kiddos and dogs getting in on the action too. Parking is definitely a pain so be prepared to circle around and walk a ways. There is an outdoor and indoor space that can come to a standstill with the frenzy of shoppers. Go early! A few of my favorite stops are SimpliThai for the cooking kits, jams/jellies/pickles at Bernhardt's Farm, baked goods from Julie Myrtille and dumplings from Steamies.

Mueller Farmers market has turned into a crowded crummy flea market with no place to park. Very few vegetables. What's with the over priced crafts?

This visit was a first, and the place is absolutely a true gem! We got there around closing time,( I believe they close at 2:00 pm/ on this V particular Sunday) So we couldn't see much of the market it self, as everybody was kind of cleaning up... by 1:45 ish. bummer! My sister who came earlier and did the shopping already, had pork bellies and let me try a piece. Even the fresh grilled pork bellies, were so delectable I had to get my own serving. Luckily for the children we had beautiful weather, and they enjoyed the splash pads way more than they would have for shopping or eating. We will absolutely be back!

I've been to a few farmers markets around the Austin area in my year being here. I hear there's a few noteworthy farmers markets to visit, but this one in particular is really good. Parking is a little difficult so get there early. It's a dog, friendly, farmers market and child friendly as well. A lot of areas to cool off beneath the trees, as well as an indoor terrarium full of food, produce, and pottery among other things. It's exciting to come to an events such as this to use an Apple Pay for your items. I also bring cash in case. Personally, I feel the farmers market is one of the larger ones that I've been to. It has more of a city vibe to it. highly recommend.

My husband and I love coming here every week to get our pastured meat and eggs. We go to Smith & Smith Farms and Hackamore Ranch. They are the most wonderful people and their products are delicious.

We parked at a nearby park and walked to the farmers market. We were also extremely lucky that is was a cool day with overcast and a wonderful breeze. The vendors were wonderful with a wide variety of foods, drinks, and other miscellaneous items. I love that there's a lot of space for picnics and just hanging out. We walked around the outer market where a lot of the food stalls were located. Pictured is what we got from various vendors. I'd highly recommend Citrus for the lemonade, absolutely the star of the market! Overall a great farmers market with plenty of offerings!

Great variety of shops and local eats. I was able to find a parking spot across the street around 9:45-10:00. Some of it's outside and some inside. Dog and stroller friendly, but a little tight in some spots inside.

People are very nice but food is very behind.... over priced for most cooked food offered by the food court. The quality is like very average fast food preserved food or average convenient deli's based what I tried such as: samosa, lamb wrap, taco, pork taco, pot stickers, etc. All you tasted was salt:((( However, the freshly baked goods are much better. What really makes the market nice is the large water pond and the beautiful lawn so that ppl can enjoy all kinds of activities. If just for the food, this is not a place to go.

Love the new location with restrooms, but it would be a much friendlier and welcoming place if dogs were not allowed with the exception of service animals. Especially in the building it causes chaos; loud barking, fights, and clogged walkways with leashes across walking paths. Additionally, many more people are afraid of dogs than you might imagine, particularly small children (who, unlike dogs, cannot legally be left home alone for an hour). Please consider taking a note from other farmers' markets like Urban Harvest and disallow dogs to create a better experience for everyone.

I've been lucky enough to live walking distance to the Mueller Farmers' Market, and paying them a visit is one of my favorite Sunday morning activities! Decent selection of produce vendors, food stalls, and more. I do miss the pre-COVID days, when there were delicious free samples left and right. Nonetheless, it's still enjoyable every time, especially when the weather is nice. Everyone has their own go-to spots, but here are a few of mine: 1) Bouldin Food Forest (their veggies are beautiful) 2) Hi-Fi Mycology (fancy mushrooms) 3) La Belle Vie (all duck everything) 4) Pure Luck Farms (the best goat cheese!) 5) Florelli (sunflower hummus - LOVE the dill one) 6) The Sourdough Project (my favorites are the tomato basil & everything) 7) Steamies Dumplings (freshly fried AND frozen bags to-go) 8) Ninja Pig (for the cassava flour tortillas) 9) Casper's Fermentables (their focaccia with fermented cabbage...never had anything else quite like it) 10) Madhu Chocolate (uniquely delicious, and a great Austin-y gift when traveling to see out of town family!)

Loved visiting the Farmers Market during my visit to Austin!! Great variety of vendors and lots of amazing stuff to try. Also nice that there are vendors both indoors and outdoors. I especially loved Yegua Creek Farms Pecan Orchard and an amazing vegan BBQ spot that I unfortunately can't recall the name of. I really wish there was a market like this where I'm from - I'd be visiting it every week!

A honest "Rey Eats" Review: $-$$ Me and my girlfriend loved the farmers market! So many cute dogs around and definitely pet friendly (with venders even selling dog goodies). There is the park that has a water play station for kids. The venders have a great variety of fresh veggies and dairy products; there is even amazing food and drinks sold fresh! I would recommend checking this place out in person! Additional comments: Parking may be packed so parking at the Sp+ parking garage was the move (the rate is $2/hour).

Went there on Sunday. Sure enjoyed walking around on a sunny day. So many great vendors. I only went to the food vendors but there were other vendors as well. We got tacos, sausage, cookies, empanadas , ginger beer, olive oil. I really enjoyed walking around seeing all the beautiful dogs!!! I highly recommend checking this farmer market out. I will be back.

Visiting my daughter who took me here, the pastries were so delicious that I had to come back the next 3 days I was visiting to try the Variety was limitless and so delicious..I was never disappointed !!

Wow this used to be a great farmers market when it was by the large pond in the front of the Mueller district. I guess I hadn't been in awhile (had a baby) because I was confused when it wasn't in the same location. It is now crammed between condo buildings and is extremely narrow to walk through. Way too crowded to enjoy. Not great for strollers to maneuver around - even inside their pavilion. I couldn't be more disappointed. The vendors are friendly but they lack produce... I imagine it's difficult to unload/load crates of produce here. Unfortunately I no longer recommend visiting this FM unless you live in the surrounding homes. It's not what it used to be which is such a bummer. Some flags or signs would've been nice to point you to where the vendors are since you can't see them behind all the buildings. And yea, parking is still a pain.

Easily the best Farmers Maket in town. It has the most and the best vendors. It has the best location. I've always had a blast and never regretted going Do yourself a favor and spend a few weekends browsing the stalls here!

It's an OK market. Some vendors are good. And I like the new location since it has abundant clean restrooms. However, the market is overrun by dogs. It's hard to shop, especially in the indoor part, since there are dogs everywhere. They bark at each other and scare kids. Some of the better managed farmers markets I've seen, like Urban Harvest, do not allow dogs. The farmers market in Mueller should do the same. It'd be a much more pleasant experience then!

This review is rounded up from 3.5 stars. I've been to this farmer's market a couple times now. You can find just about anything here. Farm fresh eggs, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, peppers, pasta, you name it! Yes, some things might be a little pricier, but I like to support the local farmers/businesses when I can. My most frequented stalls are: - Tapio (I get the truffle flavored Brazilian cheese bread, and they are always a hit at dinner gatherings) - Julie Myrtille Bakery (cannot go wrong with their baguettes and croissants) - Mum Foods (their pastrami is sooooo delicious!) - CTRUS (refreshing drinks for a hot day) - Yapa Empanadas (our favorite is the Al Pastor) - Belle Vie Farm and Kitchen (the best Pate de Campagne!) - Indigo Soul (I have purchased 5 adorable succulents/cacti from here) - Greater Goods coffee (my partner uses their beans for his espresso machine) Parking at this location is a huge in the butt, so get here early. If you're looking for almost all the same vendors with easier parking and less crowd, you can find them at Lakeline Mall on Saturdays at the same time.

Great selection of seafood and meats that can't be easily found! Just the right amount of variety when it comes to vendors. I've been to farmers markets that double up on honey or hummus but this was nice bc it seemed like each had a niche. My only suggestion is get there early. At 10:45am, it was nearly impossible to keep COVID safe distance and lines for ready to eat foods were getting long.

The Texas Farmer's Market is truly one of the best in Austin in terms of depth and variety. Located in the heart of Mueller, this farmers market is open 10am-2pm on Sundays and offers a huge variety of vendors- food, coffee, crafts, veggies, etc. Almost anything you'd want, the Texas Farmers Market has it. I do have some complaints that made the trip fairly unpleasant. First, parking was almost impossible. The lot for the Farmers Market is not near big enough for the amount of people entering, so you'll likely have to pay to park along the street. I got there around 10:30 and the lot was full, so I ended up parking half a mile away in front of a random house. Not a bad walk when it's sunny, but could be inconvenient for poor weather. Second, the market is very busy. There were people bumping into each other in every direction which was a bit chaotic. Many families also visited so I kept running into strollers and kids wandering around. The prices for items were also much higher than I'd be willing to pay at a market. If you're going to check out this market, come early and don't be on a schedule. It may take some time to park, walk, shop, etc. but if you plan accordingly you shouldn't have any issues. And come during a nice sunny day for obvious reasons!! Definitely worth checking out if you've never been.

This farmer's market tends towards more of a modern farmer's market, with vendors showcasing more of their unique and artisanal fares and meals moreso than an actual market where one would, say, grab some eggs. The food here is absolutely delicious with enough variety to feed everyone from the mildly peckish to the fully ravenous, with ranges from the barbecue connossieur to the sweet tooth in us all. I tried this amazing chocolate chip cookie and tacked on a little breakfast hash. Overall, love this, but would highly recommend it be referred to as more of an outdoor food hall, not a farmer's market.

The Good: :: it's a farmers market! what's not to love??? :: the new location is great over the old one (by the hanger). easier to find parking, easier to get around and get to the farmers market. it's also right next to Kerbey Lane, making it fun to grab a bite before the market opens with your dog if you prefer! or bloody marys. ;) :: lots of vendors...food, personal goods, health, you name it. there are vendors for vegetables, soy candles, pet snacks, beauty products, vitamins/supplements, kombucha, prepared foods, tacos, barbecue, pasta, you name it, they've got it :: very pet-friendly. TONS of folks out with their dogs as they support local businesses! :: some of my favorite vendors are there, like Gojema and Belle Vie Farms. check them out! The Bad: :: none The Ugly: :: none Would I go back? 100% yes. I want to make this a regular outing for me and my dog on Sundays. Can't keep me away from the happy weekend vibe with the pooch while we support local businesses! This place is IN.

Wow, such an incredible variety of vendors with such incredible stuff to try! We thought we'd spend an hour here, but we spent nearly four! They have freshly prepared foods (empanadas were amazing), and items to take home (that granola!) as well as product (awesome seasonal herbs too) and so much more. Parking is a bit messy because it's always so full but once you get past that, it's wonderful. The lakeside location, the friendly people, the cute dogs! Sigh, I can't wait to return after this pandemic is over.

This is rated the best in Austin; I attended the Sunday market. It is predominantly prepared foods, and a few produce type items like micro greens, eggs, meats, and honey. I like that there were so many small businesses to support, but I was expecting a bigger market and more of a market vibe. This seemed like a small street festival, cute but nothing to write home about and definitely not an all day vibe. Luckily, the location is great.

Parking is bad. Prepare to walk a ways. They offer sanitizer and masks to enter. They treat it like an actual building except you are outside. Plenty of vendors to shop from. Bring your own bags. No eating on site but food is sold. Lol Restrooms are ok. Great for families and dogs.

Texas Farmers' Market at Mueller! A great shopping and socializing experience with unique stands, coffee and more. This is totally like an outdoor hangout for socializing and strutting your stuff. If I lived here, I could see myself coming often and having coffee and more. I love the concept of the lake and the large park. The market is in a nice area with local shops on one side, the park on the other side and the farmer's market adjacent to the water. You could easily spend an entire day here with the family. The market has some very unique items including incredible ice tea! Boy, you think you have seen it all and then you find a place like this in Texas?! Parking is terrible. Ugh. I did spend the day at the market, shops and park and walking back to the car was a workout harder than at the gym. Carrying the five year old around on the shoulders make the entire day..leg day! I never thought Austin could be so hippyish, Hipsterish or this Artsy! Overall, I am a fan of the park, the patrons of he park, the City of Austin and the vendors at this market. Very friendly people. I am a fan!

This farmer's market is a decent size and has lots of options for prepared food. There was also a small petting zoo tucked in the back under a giant roof. Must-try: 1) Buddha's Brew - $3 bring your own bottle. If you like fruit, definitely try the Pineapple flavor. Be warned, Mango Chili was very pungent 2) SoCo Ginger Beer ($6.50) - try both the watermelon (or the daily special) and the jelepano one. I'm not a huge fan of ginger but oh these are so refreshing. 3) Stellar Gourmet - this guy makes his own hot sauce and pepper jam. Try the lavender pepper jam, you will be pleasantly surprised. 4) This yogurt guy I couldn't remember the name of. His lemon honey yogurt was amazing.

Amazing experience!!! Even with COVID-19 the employees make sure to employ proper precaution. There's a TON of vendors with the freshest produce, meats and speciality items. Highly recommend Oatmeal & Company, Mum Foods - BBQ and Caribbean Elixir. Dog friendly. Highly recommend to bring water during hot season... walking in the sun can make you & Fido taxed. Also bring a blanket or stadium chair to later sit out over at the lake. Beautiful!!

This is the largest farmers' market I have been to in Austin. There are vendors galore of all types lined up ready to show you what they've got! If I were to guess there is probably 30 vendors here give or take.The setting is Mueller Park which is gorgeous, so no wonder this place is bringing out the people. I have been here twice now and each time it was just as crowded as the other. I find it hard to take my time because of the crowd, but on the plus side there is a lot going on, from activities to live music to food trailers ... this famers' market has it all. It is enjoyable. I probably won't come here every Sunday since I live further south but it is fun once in a while to stop here.

Love this farmers market! People are so friendly and all the vendors are just lovely to visit with. Parking can be difficult but if you go later in the day around noon, it's much easier to find parking. Some of favorite Austin goodies are found here: Teddy V Cookies (usually the owner is present and is the sweetest human), sunflower hummus, yapa empanadas, etc.

So unique. First booth ginger beer with original, extra ginger, beet-carrot,. 5.50 for the flavors. Only 16g of sugar. So gingerly. Mushrooms. Sunflower hummus. Butter lettuce that is grown with water and it will last 3 weeks. How cool is that. 2 bunches for 7.00. Not much vegetable stalls. Maybe we were late. Beautiful weather and back drop. Potstickers. Oh, the duck pate is so good. The chocolate was out of this world.

I love this Farmer's Market, and have found a lot of great items to try. The vendors rotate, but you can find everything from honey, brisket, citrus drinks, coffee, spices, Thai Food kits..you name it. A lot of people go, and there is usually yoga and entertainment. My only complaint is that I wish that there was more produce. There is typically 1 stand, and it is way overpriced. I love to go to support, but I rarely leave without spending a significant amount. I am not sure if is temporary, but they have also had evening hours on Wednesdays, which is nice because it is less crowded. There are some vendors that have food, but there are also Food Trucks on the other side of the Hanger. Parking-your best bet is to park on the street. Just make sure not to park in a no parking zone because they will tow.
