The 15 Best Brunch Restaurants In Atlanta - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"There’s always a wait at Murphy’s in Virginia Highlands on weekends, but we will happily line up for their complimentary biscuits and muffins with seasonal jams. They also have a great wine selection, so you can sip a glass of Provence rosé while you ponder your life choices and scan the bakery counter, then menu, which includes everything from pancakes to corned beef hash. Murphy's has housemade breads, the base for some really excellent sandwiches (like their Turkey Club) if you’re not in a breakfast mood. Best of all, brunch goes until 4pm, so you can turn off all seven of your alarms and head here whenever you wake up." - nina reeder, juli horsford, demarco williams, jacinta howard

On the Grid : Murphy's

"Part restaurant, part wine cellar. Murphy's is the place you need for a boozy lunch or an evening out (always paired with the perfect vintage, of course). It's the kind of place to really sit down and relish in your decision to cut out early on a Friday." - Polar Notion

Best Brunch in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"You can’t talk about brunch in Atlanta without talking about Murphy’s. The Virgina-Highland mainstay of 40 years now takes reservations for its famously popular brunch (offered on Saturdays and Sundays), so you don’t have to wait hours to feast on crab cake Benedict or malted waffles topped with berries and whiskey maple syrup." - Lia Picard

The 10 Best Restaurants Around Virginia-Highland - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"As crazy as it sounds, there once was a time when ATL brunch had nothing to do with hookah or hot honey. Murphy’s, a modern American mainstay in Virginia-Highland, has been around for just that long. A restaurant that looks like your way-too-neat aunt’s house, Murphy’s brick-accented atrium is perfect for brunch, a business lunch, or a Saturday dinner where you’re trying to score meet-the-parents points. Ordering the flash-fried calamari for the table is a good start. But every order is worth it here, from evenly-seared Carolina trout to the Murphy’s Mule cocktail. Just end with the gooey Tollhouse Pie, which is a neighborhood legend on its own." - demarco williams, juli horsford, nina reeder

Conveniently located beside Mcdonald’s & Walmart. 2 Cashier in the mart that could sometimes have a wait during peak hours. Prices were very competitive and reasonable. Good choice for regular gas.

Machines don't work most of the time and people park in the stalls, rather than pulling off when finished fueling. It's absolutely ridiculous, this was my last attempt.

The absolute worst grade of customer service i have experienced in this area, Either only accepting cash, or only cards, system down, OUT or gas, lottery machine NOT working (or it depends on who you are if it's working or NOT) .....Although the gas can sometimes be the most competitive price you can't depend going to get it because it wont be available when you need it the most......

My experience was not good. They are advertising the same promotion allover the door and floor and not honoring it. The cashier I don't know ma'am and we don't have a manager here. And that promotion been up every since I started here a month ago. So I don't know what to tell you and did not honor the promotion which I thought was very unprofessional as a public business. We have to do better than that. So I put the sodas back whether it made a difference or not. Thanks

The supervisor during the day time is very unprofessional. She sits around on the counter tops and doesn't help with customers at all.

This Gas station does have awesome prices for gas and cigarettes. However there are many issues at this location that needs to be addressed. The store manager is EXTREMELY RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL to many of the customers. I stop at this location often and I hear the way she talks and communicates with paying customers. She is not one that should work with people. She often using profanity towards the customers. On Sunday (9/25), I had an issue when one of the employees gave me the wrong cigarettes and the manager was so upset because I asked if she could switch them. She began to rush the other customers because she had to stop putting in an order and also cursing at them. I asked the employee was she the manager. This is 100% unprofessional. From reading the other reviews I see that many agree. This needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY.

Yelp
Oh, how I dislike writing reviews that aren't glowing with 5-star love. But feedback is important as long as it's constructive! I've visited this gas station a number of times, it hasn't ever been beyond remarkable but it got the job done. But my recent visit stood out... and not in a way that has me running back lol. This gas station is located in East Point/Hapeville just steps away from Walmart, American Deli, McDonalds and a number of other businesses, so there's always a few folks buzzing about. They offer a few pumps and aren't super cramped leaving room for cars to get in and get out smoothly. The indoor station itself is a different story as it has about 3 aisles and baby, that joint is cramped! They offer what's expected in most gas stations: snacks, drinks, etc. No frills but what you may want during a quick fill-up. Why was this last experience one worthy of 2-stars? Well, the customer service. When I arrived there were about 6 of us in two different lines and 3 employees beyond the glass with 2 at POS stations. I was waiting in one line behind another woman who was about to walk up to the glass and boom, the employee handling that line says that we need to join the other line behind the other customers who had come in behind us. Which happens! I thought maybe she was going on a break or something. Not at all, my good sis sat behind the counter with the 3rd employee and just watched us wait. LOL, not funny at the time but I get a lil giggle now. Since the person at the front of the line was buying lotto tickets, it added even more of a wait time than expected. Just a disappointing customer service experience that could have been avoided. It happens!
