"Mustang Thakali Kitchen is a good back-pocket spot in Jackson Heights. Keep it in mind the next time you’re in the area and want to spend some quality time with a plate of momos—maybe before or after a flight out of LaGuardia. We like the chow mein, which manages to be slightly charred and perfectly chewy with every bite, but if you’re here with a few people try a beef thali too. (Note that it doesn’t come with free refills, as at some other spots.) "The menu of this Nepali restaurant originates in the north central region of Mustang. Expect the usual steamers of momo, handmade noodles in soups and stir fries, vegetable salads, and warm meat jerkies sometimes containing offal. Goat is a highlight.
